Wip Backstory for lttm lizard

-born in Luna, as a young lizard he chasded a bat fly through the pipe and ended up in abstract complex (idk if that’s the right name)

-(Might change this since it’s kinda out of scope of what iterators can do in their supercomplexes, would love advice on how to explain his lack of concern for the rules that’s not just ‘Hes built that way’ )

moon couldn’t forcibly remove him due to risk of harming him, and was worried about how zero g would effect a growing animal, so she disabled gravity control for only him, and She sends neuron flies to guide him to shelters if he ever gets lost leading up to the end of a cycle

-the scars are from some minor contact with those glowing blue things or maybe staying out a bit too late and getting zapped by the green electricity at the end of a cycle

when I was playing spearmaster where this lizard chased me through luna after seeing me ONCE (I always was through the next tunnel long before he emerged) and then after sheltering, I was doing my thing in moons superstructure and coming through the pipes several rooms in was him, suffice to say I was shocked and he killed me. from thenceon, until the next time I closed the game, he was there. the specicial gravity didn’t effect him, he crawled around like normal, and every time I went through a pipe, 10 seconds later he would appear, no mater how far back I had left him. He’s like the immortal snail, also like that meme where women arent affected by gravity? Well he’s the opposite

Who asked the other to move in with them?  — reyna was like “i’m so sexy and alone in my huge villa on the via praetoria <3333 you should come live with me instead of those cramped new rome university dorms” and it worked

Who is in charge of the music during a car ride?  — annabeth but she’s only allowed to play her sad indie girl music for half an hour at a time before its reyna’s turn to play reggaeton

Who is more likely to tickle the other mercilessly? — reyna probably tried tickling annabeth once to be like cute and playful before realizing that was setting a dangerous precedent and opening herself up to retaliation

Who needs to hold the other during scary movies? — reyna disguises her need to be held by insisting on holding annabeth and it worked maybe like two times before annabeth saw completely through her act

Who has to help the other when it comes to technology? — reyna is surprisingly better considering she can actually carry a phone around new rome and not worry about monster attacks so

Who likes to get a bit frisky in public / an inappropriate setting? — not that it’s ever reyna’s idea (bc, you know, stressed and repressed praetor), she does happen to know where all the more... secluded spots in new rome & camp jupiter are

Who wakes up first, and do they wake up the other or let them rest? — it’s either reyna wakes up first, or annabeth never went to sleep. either way, they’re both inclined to let the other sleep in bc god knows they need it

Who is always taking pictures of the other when they aren’t looking? — reyna takes so many pics of annabeth bc she needs something to look at while annabeth is away visiting camp half-blood

Who always forgets their wallet and never ends up paying for anything? — it’s not that annabeth never has money... it’s that she never has denarii so whenever they’re in new rome, reyna is paying for dates

Who can’t sleep because the other snores or moves too much at night? — they are both light sleepers and get kind of restless at night but it’s fine it’s just a lot of readjusting their cuddling position throughout the night

Who is better at video games, and do they let the other win or show no mercy? — i feel like annabeth would kind of suck at video games and reyna would definitely make fun of her for it and also not let her win (unless they’re playing virtual chess or some shit, in which case it’s a totally different story)

Who always gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and accidentally wakes up the other?  — annabeth but she’ll get up in the middle of the night for a million different reasons bc she can’t shut her brain off

Nico looked up from where he’d sat down to study Annabeth. She looked....not great, which to be honest, none of them looked great after gods knew how long they had been running around underground. They knew, or at least Nico knew, there was no real rhyme or reason to the Labyrinth. It was a magical place that moved and shifted just as easily as the wind or dunes in the desert, which meant a child of Athena was a bit out of luck there. 

Granted, Nico wasn’t really supposed to be there either, not on the quest that Annabeth had originally been assigned back at Camp Half-Blood. He glanced away, pretending not to hear the reassuring words Percy whispered to her before Percy wandered away to give her space, ignoring the weird heat around his neck.
