i think there should be a sonic game starring the youngest characters in the franchise because i think it’d be really funny for them to work together and be their own team and be their pure child selves with no older character to keep them in check

even better that despite them being literal kids, the team would still consist of a detective, an engineering genius, and a sea captain. cream’s the only one who could be somewhat described as ‘normal child’.

there could be a subplot with espio, sonic, amy, and blaze together trying to find their respective youngin. sonic’s not too worried about tails but he wants to make sure his buddy’s alright, blaze wants to stop marine from doing something reckless, and espio and amy have to find charmy and cream before vector and vanilla find out they lost them

lol every time the kids plan to go somewhere they’re like “let’s go!” and charmy, tails, and cream go flying off and marine’s just like “OI! I CAN’T FLY”

NEW Sonic keychains join my collection!

Sorry for all the spam but I also received my brand new additions to my Sonic keychain collection! It's growing steadily!!

So we now have the Chaotix, which were incredibly fun to draw. I am especially pleased with Charmy's pose! And then I added Metal Sonic plus Whisper and Starline which were highly requested! I think everyone looks so cute! And tasty!

HIIIII can I get Nacht Faust headcanons with an s/o who has really strong lava magic, which lines up with their personality? Like s/o is loud and impatient but at the same time strong and warm-hearted? She/her pronouns preferred. Hope you have a good day!!!

A/n: Hello, thank you for requesting, I truly do love writing these and I especially love writing for Nacht, he is one of my faves. Anyways, this may be a bit similar to this headcanons request I did the other day, but I felt they were both unique enough to have their own posts, so feel free to check those out as well. Ok, as always enjoy and remember to hydrate or diedrate.

Nacht with Lava Mage Girlfriend:

I truly believe in the whole opposites attract, so Nacht with a more out going partner makes sense to me.

While Nacht is calm and patient waiting for everything to line up before attacking, Y/n is more chaotic and spontaneous.

Why wait for your foe to be distracted to attack, when you can just run in head first and gain the upper hand by sheer force

Y/n's mind set causes many worries for Nacht, he has tried to tell her to be careful but that's like telling a kid not to mess with something, they may try for a moment but eventually they can't help but find out why they were told no

Nacht has had multiple scares thinking Y/n had been dumb and gotten herself killed, only to have her pop right up after taking a hit

Eventually he figured out that Y/n's spontaneity was one of her best qualities

Not only did it work for her in battle, but it helped her in wrangling the Black Bulls

Being able to think her feet aloud Y/n to resolve many problems for the crazy bunch of misfits

Seeing Y/n easily deal with normal everyday ruckus of the base, showed Nacht how caring y/n can be as well

While most of the time she was impatient and loud when it came down to those she cared about, she could be calm and collected

Being patient with Grey when she was scared about being herself around the squad and giving advice on how to deal with it

Helping Asta and Liebe train to maintain their union form longer, or helping Charmy gather new ingredients

Seeing Y/n act this way around the base helped Nacht understand why some of the other squads refereed to her as the sleeping volcano

To some she was a terrifying force of nature that could erupt at any moment, and to others she was a gentle being who took care of those around her

And all of that is why Nacht Loves her, he may enjoy a more relaxed and patient approach to everything but Y/n offers a glimpse to a different pace at which one can chose to live their life

Movie Amy Rose Team Chaotix

What if Amy was taken in by the Chaotix in the SCU?

Context:

Amy was left on Vector’s doorstep with a bag full of rings and a note that said “Please protect her at all costs”. Since then vector has been trying to find Amy’s parents/people, though he got a bit sidetracked when he found himself taking in two more kids, Espio and Charmy. Eventually vector clues in on the possible subject who would abandon such a sweet little girl. Now he could finally confront them (or possibly clobber them), unfortunately, the last thing he expected to uncover was the brutal history between the owls, the echidnas, and the hedgehogs. With the knowledge vector had uncovered, he decided two things: he would protect her at all costs and never tell her of this history until she’s ready (or possibly never if he can). this intern caused a lot of issues between Vector and Amy since Amy wants to get involved with most of their cases to get out more.

Bonus context:

Amy is the middle child between Espio and Charmy

although Amy is not allowed to work on some of the gang cases, she does behind-the-scenes work and sometimes helps them find crucial clues

Amy has a good judgment of character. She’ll have 100% faith in their clients even if the world is against them (even if the Chaotix don't completely believe in their clients).

Amy sometimes tends to jump to conclusions when she gets excitable on the few cases she is allowed to work on (like in the murder of Sonic the Hedgehog).

Despite barely making ends meet from their cases, Amy makes sure that her family has a well-balanced meal to keep them going.

When the time comes for Amy to leave for Earth with Sonic and the gang, Amy leaves the Chaotix with a special cookbook for cooking simple delicious meals on a budget as a parting gift which they are very grateful for.

The Chaotix are overprotective with Amy so they do a background check on Sonic and his family just to be safe. They pass, though Vector still keeps a close eye on Sonic making sure he doesn’t try anything with his little girl.

the idea of amy joining team chaotix for an investigation is so funny to me. they go and check out an abandoned bus for. detector reasons. and amy will start whispering about ghosts and spirits and cold spots and charmy will be listening to her every word and getting worked up and scared and vector keeps trying to corral them but charmy goes "but vector the GHOSTS" and espio in the background is pretending he is not also starting to get a little on edge

Working at a day camp this summer and watching how careful we have to be making sure it's actually one of their approved adults that's picking them up, made me think how funny it'd be if after Vector and Vanilla get together they send Charmy and Cream to day camp. Like:

(Vanilla picks the kids up from camp)

Camp staff: Okay you have the bunny girl that checks out

Vanilla: Oh the bee is mine also

Staff: Okay... That's a little odd but interspecies relationships and whatnot so yeah okay

(Vector picks the kids up)

Staff: You are neither a rabbit nor a bee

Vector: Charmy's adopted and Cream's my stepkid

Staff: Okay yeah that's fair...

(Espio picks the kids up)

Staff (tired): a chameleon... and how are you related exactly?

Espio: I'm their... uncle?

Staff: You hesitated

Espio: Well technically I'm not actually related to them but I did help raise Charmy... so I'm kind of like his second dad. But Vector basically adopted me too, so I'm kind of like the big brother... But age wise I'm really closer to being Vector's brother...

Espio: *has an identity crisis*

Staff: Well you're on the approved pickup list anyways so go ahead I guess

(Mighty comes to pick them up because everyone else is busy)

Staff: Let me guess, you're here for the bunny and the bee

Mighty: Yeah

Staff: *looking through an "approved" list that's ten feet long*

Mighty: Oh also the flying squirrel is my little brother

Staff: Of course he is that makes perfect sense

Staff: A robot

Gmerl: My primary directive is to protect Cream and now Charmy--

Staff: *absolutely done with this* You're on the approved list just sign the form

So, i realize its been a minute since i yelled about prime but i just gotta ask.

Can someone please explain to me why the hell they chose BIG THE CAT instead of say, idk, OMEGA???

Last i checked (granted, i havent looked at the sonic fandom in ages so i could be wrong and thats okay!) EVERYONE hated Big. I still hate big, his levels are the WORST part of sonic adventure. To the point that his shit is the only thing i have left in that fucking game.

If they wanted someone from the games, Omega was right there! Hes even in the same games as big! More even! Sure, he might not work in the Maze but then just... leave him out?? Omega's still pretty big in the comics, hes a fan favorite, and like. I need to see Rebel and New Yolk!Omega together.

They did him so dirty. Idk why sega is like "eh team dark sucks we shouldn't use em anywhere." They nerfed the hell out of shadow and forgot Omega. At least Rouge gets some recognition, but how much of that is the fact shes the only other girl character besides Amy everyone likes/is older. Cream is liked, but then they have to remember chao exist and shes like 6, idk what the badger from Boom's deal is (if she was in the games or not. But sega wants us to forget sonic boom and yknow thats valid) they remember Blaze every now and again. (Ik theres a bunch in the comic, but im counting ones in the actual games)

But noooo lets add fucking BIG. Why not espio? Or Vector? I would be less mad at Charmy. Hell, fucking use Jet or any of the other birds from Riders! Or silver! Justice for Silver man, he had such a shitty game and now sega doesn't like saying he was a thing.

Anyway, i'm mad that there was no team dark interaction in Prime. Only that little bit at the end with Shadow and Rouge. No omega, no reaction from shadow about ghosty Rouge (fight me, they're friends! Thats not even a headcannon!) nothing. Gah.

I miss Omega :( but god i hate playing heroes its so cluncky. I'll do what i must for my boy.

Hey, creator of the Chaotix Member Tangle AU here if you remember. Since you really loved the past few headcanons, I came up with some more because I wanna make people happy (this time featuring Cream and Vanilla!)

-Tangle'a tail acts as Cream's main doll whenever she practices making flower crowns, braiding, or when she just needs to learn how to tend fur.

-Chaotix sometimes teases Tangle by singing, "I like to move it, move it." Espio comforts her as she isn't the only one (Reference to a random ask you had in which Chaotix sings Karma Chameleon to Espio, I included that because I thought it was hilarious)

-Tangle takes Charmy to the Restoration A LOT whenever she babysits, because during one babysitting incident, it resulted in half of the Chaotix household being nonexistent. They mostly spend the entire time playing Tag, playing make-believe, or helping Jewel with paperwork (They consumed several types of Candy that night)

-Vector actually adopts Tangle in this AU, so she's officially his daughter, along with Charmy. This is because of the time she accidentally called Vector "dad."

-Tangle filmed Vector and Vanilla's first date, and Croco Dad didn't find out until a month later.

All of these are amazing headcanons. Gotta give my thoughts on them because they are peak:

-I am now imagining Cream braiding Tangle's tail, that would be so cute 🥺

-I feel like sometimes Tangle would play along with it and start dancing herself, especially if Charmy is the one singing it

-The only reason they haven't destroyed Restoration HQ is because Lanolin and Jewel are there to keep them in check sdfghhgfds

-VECTOR ADOPTING TANGLE TOO I LOVE THAT!!! He really likes adopting all the random children he meets fr

-Tangle definitely showed the video to Espio and Charmy as soon as she came back home, you cannot convince me otherwise XD

THE TRUTH ABOUT SONIC'S EYES!!!! - Part 01: How to Draw and what are they??

I got a bone to pick today.

Today we shall discuss Sonic the Hedgehog

specifcally... his EYES

This has been on my mind for a while but reached a tipping point with THIS new Sonic Channel Art!!!

I should be happy. They finally drew Merlina. But no. I HATE This art!!!

And it's all because of one problem. SONIC'S EYES.

But some you may think, SONIC'S EYES AREN'T LIKE THAT!! IT'S JUST ONE WEIRDLY SHAPED EYE!! You may even think of it like this.

No hate towards the artist who made this. Infact, this is needed as it showcases an issue that has plagued so many Sonic artists for years. And has bled into official media since 1998 (1993 if you count a few scenes in satam that may or may not be unintentional, it's so weird and inconsistent that I can't really call it all that important.)

11. Blood Works

Kitsunami was fiddling nervously with his tablet as he sat in the main room of the Chaotix' hut. Vector and Charmy were sitting on the other side, each trying to busy themselves with different things. Vector put up his feet on the desk, headphones on his ears as he listened to music. Charmy was shuffling through a comic book, humming to himself.

Espio was not present. Kitsunami's gaze landed on the locked bedroom door. He lost track of how much time has passed since they closed.

As soon as the shock of seeing Kitsunami and Tails had passed, the Chaotix led them back to the hut. Espio left almost immediately, promising to come back with a doctor as quickly as he could. Vector and Charmy did all they could to take care of the injured fox until then.

By the time Espio and the doctor rushed back in, as quickly as the chameleon promised, the two detectives and the fennec all had their gloves tainted red from trying to stop the constant flow of blood. It was truly a miracle they didn't lose Tails before help arrived. As soon as he came, the doctor pushed everyone out of the bedroom, leaving only Espio to assist him in treating the fox.

Vector and Charmy somehow managed to convince Kitsunami to check for his own injuries. Luckily, they were small, only some burns and scratches he suffered from the plane crash. When the fennec was deemed as alright as he could be, they provided him some water and food, as well as a change of gloves, and then left to his own devices until the doctor was finished with Tails.

It's been two hours since the door to the bedroom closed behind the doctor. Two hours since Kit was sat on the sofa. Two hours since he last saw Tails alive.

Out of all of the fighting that Magna and Luck did, it was a bit shocking when the hyperactive blonde had suggested a day off from battles between the two. Instantly, Magna was on his case like a detective.

“Who are you, and what have you done with my friend?” The mohawked mage asked with a cocked eyebrow.

“Still me! Still Luck, just Luck with an ouchie.” The boy replied, holding his shoulder and turning his arm. The grimace on his face couldn’t be ignored, and Magna frowned.

“An ‘ouchie’, eh? What’d you do?” Magna stepped toward the blonde, only to have him jump back with an angry look. “What?”

“No! You’re gonna be mean to me!” The lightning mage replied with a pout.

“I’m not gonna-“

“No! You’re gonna come twist my arm and call me a baby, so just go away! It’s not that bad, we can fight again tomorrow,” Luck whined.

Magna laid a gentle hand on the boy’s shoulder and applied a quarter ounce of pressure. Luck instantly opened his mouth with hitched breath as his hand shot up to grab the latter’s.

“Hey, ow!” The boy hissed.

“Not that bad, my ass,” the flame mage sneered, placing a hand on Luck’s back. “Come on, let’s go get you some of Charmy’s food, and get you resting up.”

The cheery berserker followed in defeat, not knowing how to handle being out of commission.

After listening to his teammate and taking a nap, and eating a dish made by Charmy, he was feeling a lot better. The boy woke up with bright eyes and a big smile as he heard a knock on his door.

“How you holdin’ up, bud?” Magna entered with a patent grin, sitting down next to him on the bed.

“Much better! My shoulder must’ve just been in a weird place when I slept or something. Go ahead and test me, I’m cured!”

A brilliant idea of vengeanceto check on his friend’s shoulder brought a smile to the mohawked boy’s lips. “Healed, eh? You want me to test it? Here, lay down flat.”

A prideful grin tugged on Luck’s face as he flopped into his bed, face down. “Give me your worst, I can take it!”

“Oh I’m planning to…” Magna muttered menacingly as he cracked his knuckles. “Let’s see how much you can handle, big shot.” He sat atop of Luck’s bottom, just shy of the boy’s lower back.

“Wait! That’s not what I-” The blonde whined as he tried to kick his way upward. “Hey! Come on- EEP! Mahahahagnahaha! Nohohoho!”

“Oh? I thought you wanted me to do my worst! I’m just checking on your shoulder, that’s all.” Magna cooed as he pinched a “massage” over Luck’s shoulders.

The lightning mage whined as he buried his head into his comforter, trying hard to ignore the ticklish shockwaves being sent through his shoulderblades. “Cohohohome ohohohon! Nahahat fahahahair!”

“Are you sure your shoulder’s better? What about the rest of you?” The flame mage teased, grabbing one of Luck’s arms and holding it over his head. “You think that’s not fair? Try this.”

Blue eyes widened when the lightning mage felt a sudden, unbearable feeling in his lower ribs. “WAITWAITWAIT MAHAHAHAGNAHAHAHA! HYEHEHEHAHAHA!”

“Ohhhh! Magna found a good spot, huh? Gonna getcha, Lucky!” Magna sing-songed as he tweaked his teammate’s ribs. “Now I know a way to put you in your place when you piss me off!”

“NOHOHOHO MAHAHA—snort— MAHAHAGNAHAHA! PLEHEHEHEASE!”

The flame mage stopped in shocked awe. “Dude! Did you just snort?!”

Luck whined as he buried his head further into the blanket. “L-Leheheave mehehe alohohohohoooooone. Dohohohont behehehe mehehehean.”

“Mean? Oh Luck…” in a quick move, Magna had stood up and flipped the boy onto his back, capturing both wrists in one hand and holding them above his head. “I’m your worst nightmare.”

Little pops of lightning flickered through the room, accentuating the young mage’s frantic giggles as his teammate went in for the kill.

With face flushed and eyes squeezed shut, Luck threw his head back and snorted like a madman as Magna blew raspberry after raspberry all over his torso, infatuated by the adorable sound.

But if you asked him, Luck didn’t seem to mind at all.
