Camille Boucher is her father's favorite daughter. If only he wasn't born in the year 840 and turned into a vampire at the age of 45 during the Siege of Paris. You think your boomer dad isn't very woke? Imagine having one who is older than France. So, being the favorite daughter doesn't amount to much when she has several male siblings. She is, however, the only one of her many siblings who refuses to hunt and kill humans for sustenance and carries great pride in that. It's been 398 years since she's killed a human with her teeth (the bubonic plague made the whole affair very unappetizing).
Despite what you might think, being 425 years old is not easy! You try living through several wars and then see if you're willing to remember them all. Sometimes, facets of Camille's memory spring to mind and she relives the deaths of her mortal friends or lifetimes of her own personal suffering. But, hey, every twenty-something (or those who look like they're in their twenties) has mental issues these days; she's not special. It's better to just put the centuries of trauma on the back-burner most days. She has a relatively easy life otherwise; with her father having dominion over the entire Pacific Northwest, there is very little outside her reach, even if her stupid brothers get to reap most of the lucrative benefits.
Camille's hobbies include: attending college (she has far too many degrees to count, though most of them are in math), looking mysterious at coffee shops, solving puzzles, and conducting independent criminal investigations. She hates cops and avoids them at all costs. Her favorite part of the job is the thrill of investigating a case without being allowed onto the crime scene or access to forensic tools. Keeps the mind sharp.
Her newest undertaking? The Dentona Vampire, a notorious serial killer known for tearing out the throats of their victims (a bad look for the local vampires who'd prefer a more low-key media presence). The Dentona Vampire has been active for about six months now, but Camille has no real leads on who the murderer might be.
That is, until she keeps bumping into the same handsome, long-haired goon who keeps announcing himself publicly as a vampire. He honestly seems too clumsy to be a notorious serial killer, but he's the only interesting thing in her never-ending life at the moment. Even if he can't lead her to a clue about her case, it wouldn't hurt to show him the ropes and teach him how to be a more subtle creature of the night and less of a tacky Anthony Slater-type.*
*Anthony Slater is a fictional vampire and one of the primary love interests in the YA book series, The Crepuscular Saga. Everyone knows he ends up with the girl at the end of the book, but Camille preferred the boyish charm of the werewolf character, Lukas Rust, and secretly wished he'd be the end-game romance.
What's another pet project? She has all the time in the world, and it would be just terrible if her father found out someone was out there telling the humans about the existence of real vampires.
Thank you for reading my massive introduction to my character, Camille Boucher! She was a tricky personality to pin down, but her sense of filial duty and her selfish interest in detective work is the perfect combination to make an overconfident and resentful eldest daughter who refuses to grow up but knows she will never develop into her own if she doesn't. The goon she keeps bumping into is the other protagonist of this work, Bat Valentine. Find out more about him by looking at the "sanguine" tag on my blog.
Some characters that I drew inspiration from for Camille are: Nancy Drew, Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Kaylee Frye from Firefly, Nami from One Piece, and L. Lawliet from Death Note.

Here are results for the "How does your OCs story end?" Quiz for OCs from The UnTitledverse, The Silver Chronicles and Life, Despair & Monsters. Results below:
JOAQUIN COBALT (THE UNTITLEDVERSE)
In The Perfect Storm and The Omniscient Rule sagas, sure (and even then those aren't at the end of his story), but other than those Joaquin's story doesn't end with betrayal, rather on a lighter note.
SILVA OMAR (THE SILVER CHRONICLES [FAR CRY 5, FAR CRY NEW DAWN])
No. After everything Silva goes through, that'd be too cruel. I've got plenty of other characters for that. Closest thing this relates to Silva is "questions unanswered" and "desires unfulfilled"; Silva doesn't get satisfying answers after the Collapse and the tragedies she experienced prior, and she mourns the normalcy she only got to live for such a sparse time before tragedy, the Apostles, Eden's Gate, the Congregation and the Collapse denied her that chance. But she does get a rather good ending, a happiness she deserves.
HAOYU ANABUKI (LIFE, DESPAIR & MONSTERS)
Haoyu's fate in the last installment of Life, Despair & Monsters is left ambiguous and up for interpretation and never answered, just like everyone else who remained with them. However, Haoyu is not left alone in the dire situation they had no choice but to run in to, nor do they plead or cry, just accept whatever result comes next (though begrudgingly given Haoyu does just want to live).

Onward II Exandria: Sir Barley and Sir Ian and The Legend of Vox Machina' (aka 'Onward to Critical Role')
SYNOPSIS: The two teenage elf brothers - Ian and Barley from Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' - are back! This time, swords and sorcery just got real as they've been crossover to the world of 'Critical Role', full of real magic, real epic adventures, and real wizards, bards, and no modern technology!
Life's still full of magic and wonder for Ian and Barley Lightfoot in the city of New Mushroomton after their epic, extraordinary journey to bring back their late father. Now the Lightfoot brothers became closer together than ever and they can't wait to see what new adventures will bring as they are ready to explore a world full of wonder together. But during another ordinary day, everything around them began to twist, turn, and swirl around them when one magical mishap led to another, and the Lightfoot brothers suddenly find themselves magically thrown into...Critical Role's Exandria, a whole other world that exists in the Material Plane full of real fantasy and beyond.
But getting back home won't be so easy as Ian and Barley. As they explore and investigate their bewildering, new surroundings while adjusting to it since they can't go back to their own world, Ian and Barley tried to play out their part and make sense of this strange new world since this may or may not be unlike anything similar to Barley's favorite historically role-playing board game, Quests of Yore.
There, amidst a sea of seriousness and crazy bar fights, Ian and Barley accidentally got involved and changed the campaign of the unlikely, boisterous, ragtag crew and band of unlikely heroes, misfits, and adventurers known as Vox Machina -- twin half-elf siblings, the quick-witted Vex'ahlia "Vex" Vessar and the cunning Vax'ildan "Vax" Vessar; charming gunslinger Percival "Percy" Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III; clever cleric Pike Trickfoot; half-elf red-headed druid Keyleth of the Air Ashari; gnome bard Scanlan Shorthalt; goofy goliath barbarian Grog Strongjaw; and their giant grizzly bear, Trinket.
At first, Ian was a bit off by the wild behaviors of this rowdy group, but he and an excited Barley allow themselves to be joined by Vox Machina and chose to do what they can to help save Exandria from the evil and destruction of dark, magical forces, terrifying power couples, and even a group of not-so-friendly dragons.
Despite all the epic dangers, magical surprises, comedic fun, and even the heartwarming romance of such an epic saga in another world, will Ian and Barley ever make it back home to their own world in one piece? Or they aren't so sure anymore as their fate of being isekai'd and stranded in Exandria began to change...forever?
Then, Ian and Barley find themselves in yet another saga when they are joined by another group of criminals and misfits – The Mighty Nein adventuring party, comprised of Veth Brenatto, Caduceus Clay, Fjord, Jester Lavorre, Beauregard Lionett, Yasha Nydoorin, and Caleb Widogast.

MEET THE SIBLINGS!
Rowan Castaneda Espinoza (25, September 21)
Rowan became less and less available at home due to taking many part-time jobs to pay for his tuition for art college when his parents refused to, as they did not want him to pursue art. He's very doting on his siblings because he wants to make up for lost time when he was working and in college, and he's so sweet on them that sometimes his siblings think he's kind of a loser (LOL). But they love him for his kind heart & clumsy goofy charm ^0^ He's gentle and has a heart of gold, but he knows when to get serious and can be Very intimidating.
Maria Castaneda Espinoza (21, January 11)
Maria is bossy, a bit bratty, and also a smart aleck, but she's very intelligent and knows her way around social situations very well. She's currently pursuing communications & foreign relations in college, and comes to visit Rowan at the valley several times every year with Julian. She, alongside Sebastian, is a Cave Saga X megafan, but they're both extreme apologists for opposing characters and have Very different opinions about the lore, so every time they meet up it's just them debating over the latest volumes and getting angry over each other's opinions 💀
Julian McCoy (17, July 23)
After Rowan & Maria's parents' divorce, their mother (Santana Espinoza Ruiz) remarried to a man named Anton McCoy. They had a child, and that child is Julian. Julian is a brazen, charismatic ball of energy; outgoing but not very interested in his academic studies & just wants to have fun. He's a social butterfly but he can be VERY dramatic & can get out of line sometimes. He gets on Maria's last nerve a LOT (she loves him but he annoys her to no end). Julian really loves music (which is why he likes Sam a lot!) and wants to become a DJ at some point, but when he's older he goes into audio engineering/sound design and makes music on the side!

Ok I'm in a Sonic mood right now. So I'm gonna tell ya'll my thoughts on each of the Sonic shows in the order they came out. However, I haven't seen two of them, and will tell you why. Now let's begin!
The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog
This show is hilarious. And honestly, the way it depicts Sonic and Tails' brotherly bond is not only heartwarming, it's held up in the games. And modern, goofy Eggman reminds me a lot of Dr. Robotnik from this show. So honestly, it's characterization of characters holds up pretty well. It's funny, charming, and at times surprisingly heartwarming. 8/10
Sonic The Hedgehog Saturday Morning Cartoon
I'ma be honest, I haven't seen this show, and I never will. Thank Toxic fans. Sonally shippers getting mad at Sonamy shippers like me. People telling you that all the other shows are inferior and you NEED to watch SatAM or your not a real Sonic Fan, etc. The fanbase is keeping me away, and I know I will not be able to enjoy it because of this. Toxic Fandom/10
Sonic Underground
This show... so back in the day, my parents bought DVDs of the Super Mario Brothers Super Show, The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros 3, and Super Mario World. On each of these, there were previews for other DiC cartoons. On all three were ads for Sonic Underground. And me and bro wanted that, so we rented some DVDs. And I LOVED it. First of all, yeah I know people think Tails was replaced by Sonia and Manic, but being honest, Sonic's dynamic with those two, while still a sibling dynamic, is not the same as his dynamic with Tails. And Tails could have been written in with the sibs adopting him as a younger brother. Sonia and Manic are also fun characters and I really like them. And even haters of this show have to admit the theme song is good, or at least the singer is having fun. I also like that, unlike the other 90s shows which were nature vs. Technology type things, Underground had this and some magic and Super natural elements. Honestly, concepts like this show up in the games, with ancient being sealed away like Chaos, Iblis, Dark Gaia etc. And of course the Storybook Series itself has stuff like this I have been working on a Sonic Underground Season 2 which would loosely adapt modern Sonic Stories and bring in characters from those games. I know the show is far from perfect, but this is my thoughts, not an objective review, which is why it's a 9/10 score. This is NOT objective!
Sonic X
I watched the show in Japanese with subs and I gotta say...why do people hate Chris? He's a kid, a fanboy, and I find his interactions with the cast adorable. The music in the show is also amazing, though I hear it's different in the dub. Also there are Sonamy moments which YEEEEESSSS. I also love how the show managed to pretty faithfully adapt the plots of some of the games. The Meterex Saga was something of a departure, but I still enjoyed it. 9/10
Sonic Boom
I was born in the 2000s. So I was in middle school when this show came out. And I was a Sonic fan. I had played Colors and I think I had gotten Secret Rings pretty recently, though I may have only had Colors. When I watched the first episode, I loved it. And then hated the rest of the show. Because the first episode has a pretty different tone from the rest of the show. I got over this as I got older and started rewatching the show, catching jokes that flew over my head. And while some episodes are like "why are you friends again?" Some, and most in season 2, show these guys are pretty good friends. The Shadow episodes are highlights for me. 7/10
Sonic Prime
I haven't seen this show because I don't have Netflix. I want to see it tho. Netflix is expensive/10

2002 Charmed S4 finale Kern interview
"I am very tired," says "Charmed" executive producer Brad Kern. "I masochistically wrote and directed the season finale. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm actually in the editing room right now, looking at it. We're almost there." The Thursday-night drama about the Halliwell sisters, good witches in San Francisco, has been in a rebuilding phase all year. Last season's finale set up the death of eldest sibling Prue, played by Shannen Doherty, who left the show. To fill the gap, Kern introduced indie-film actress Rose McGowan as Paige, the long-lost half-sister of surviving witches Piper and Phoebe (Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano).
Much of the season focused on the integration of Paige into her new family -- and her efforts to cope with her newfound magical powers -- along with the romantic and supernatural complications of Phoebe and her half-demon lover, Cole (McMahon). At the same time, Piper has been dealing with the travails of married life with Leo (Brian Krause), the sisters' "Whitelighter," or supernatural guide. Despite all the ups and downs, Kern promises the family remains intact through the final episode. "I think it's safe to say that this season ends on a positive note," he says. "I think we owe that to the fans. It was pretty dark last year, so all the sisters survive this year." Near as Kern can tell, the audience likes the new addition. "The audience seems to be reacting favorably to Paige. I feel like, with all the darkness we've had to deal with through the middle and end of this season, with the Cole-Phoebe saga, Rose's wacky, fun, bright-light personality helps keep the show in balance." "I've been very happy with her. I think she's integrated very well with Alyssa and Holly, both on and off the set." Off-camera, McGowan had to adjust to the demands of series television, including working more hours per day for more months out of the year. "She was limping and spewing oil and crawling last November," Kern says. "She and I had a long conversation when we hired her. I told her it's a marathon, not a sprint, and that's the biggest difference." "I was a little concerned about her in November, because she was exhausted, beat. But she found a way to figure it out. I think one of the reasons why her performance has improved steadily each and every episode is because of her pacing herself emotionally and physically."
"She ends the season no more tired or exhausted than the other two girls, so she's done a miraculous job." As far as the Cole-Phoebe romance goes, the witch and the demon have faced almost every kind of natural and supernatural challenge over the course of the season, including facing down (or giving in to) ultimate evil. "We've honored the Cole-Phoebe love story," Kern says. "Our mantra is always the same -- no matter what happens between the two of them or separately, their love shines through everything. Love, we hope, will conquer all, and that's that we've held true to."
"I'm a big romantic. The Cole-Phoebe story is one of my favorite parts of the show. It's a tragic love story, but love stories are. It's sad that he's got this evil DNA that keeps him from being able to shed it completely to fully realize and have a normal love life with Phoebe, but that's the tragedy."
"He loves her, and she loves him, and they keep trying to find a way, and they will keep trying to find a way. They'll just have to be a different way."
Despite the big wedding episode, don't expect happily ever afters. "You can't stay married to a demon for very long," Kern says. "There will be a parting of the ways. That doesn't mean that they love each other any less, and that's the tragedy."
"As we move toward the end of the season, Phoebe will have tried it every way possible. She will have tried it with him not having [demon] powers, tried it with him having powers, tried it on the good side, and tried it on the dark side. There won't be another way to try it. She's going to have to move on with her life, and that means without Cole."
"Cole's going to have other ideas about that."
As to whether this means supernatural divorce proceedings, Kern says, "Without giving too much away, Cole won't be coming from that place next year, but that's where the surprise will be. He will be coming from a different place, a new place. There's good, there's evil and then there's a third way."
After last year's cliffhanger finale, Kern decided to call on an old friend for a little help in getting through this year's closer. As a former supervising producer on the short-lived FOX cult series "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." he turned to that show's star -- also the star of the "Evil Dead" feature films -- to play an FBI agent in the May 16 episode.
"I called Bruce Campbell up to guest-star in the episode I wrote and directed. He's great. Bruce rocks. We're going to let him direct an episode next year as well. Alyssa and he did a movie together several years ago, so they knew each other. It was just a riot on the set. We all had a lot of fun."
Regarding next year, Kern says, "With Paige having been fully embraced by her sisters, and with a whole year of being a witch under her belt, and with Cole and Phoebe's relationship being somewhat resolved, [and now that] Piper and Leo have something to look forward to, we look at next year as a rebirth."
"Though there are some looming questions and looming evils, I really wanted to end the season on a positive note. It was time to get back to the light and use that as a springboard for next year." https://www.antoniogenna.net/streghe/stampa/estera/zap2it-s4.htm

the last supper (acomaf x oc)
How I infiltrated the Night Court is a saga to rival all tales; however, that's a narrative for another epoch. As the adopted sibling of Azriel, I was beckoned to their clandestine sanctuary eons before Feyre graced its sacred halls. She ensnared the attention of my kin, my dearest comrades, and the man I cherished with my entire soul—Cassian. A shameless flirt he became, entwining his charm with hers, though I perceived her covetous gaze fixated on Rhys (a man I mistakenly shared a night of passion with and fervently wished I could retract).
Presently, I find myself "relishing" in a feast where they interrogate Feyre with relentless queries. I toy with the once exquisite, now insipid fare, biting my lip to suppress tears. Cursing my hypersensitivity, despite being a formidable being—an immortal witch, the scarlet.
"I'm going to bathe," I declared abruptly, before contemplating the rest. "And after, I'll retreat to my chambers, so don't bother seeking me." I added, yearning for solitude to engulf me for the remainder of the night.
"Sure thing," Azriel chuckled, diverting his attention to something Feyre uttered. Amren, I reckoned, was the sole observer of my distress. "Wait, are you okay?" she inquired, genuinely concerned, yet her tone lacked fervor. Damn it, I thought, promptly erecting a mental barrier to thwart Rhys and Feyre's intrusion into my thoughts. "Yeah, just fatigued; it's been a hellish day for all of us."
Astoundingly, that's all it took for their collective gaze to fixate on me. Amren, sensing my disquiet, was the catalyst. Unbeknownst to me, my subsequent giggle was a fabricated facade. Abandoning my utensils, I withdrew my chair, disentangling my napkin from my lap.
"I reckon I might return home momentarily. I could use a respite from this bedlam. And if war looms, my focus ought to be on grimoires, not sirloin," I attempted to jest, sporting a forced, awkward grin. They understood, and even Feyre, a recent addition to our coterie, comprehended the subtext.
"Well, time to skedaddle—" I began my teleportation endeavor, only to encounter an unforeseen impediment. "A moment, please," Rhysand commanded. I emitted a giggle before veiling my visage. "No, and if you prolong my stay, I'll transfigure you into a swine, you insolent cur," I retorted at him. Oh yes, they were cognizant now.
"I don't think you should address your High Lord thus, Anastasia," he sneered, brandishing the High Lord card. "Our previous encounter painted a divergent tableau." A below-the-belt jab, even for me, escalating the discomfort at the table.
"That's enough!" Azriel's tone turned glacial. "Cease this juvenile charade and assume the mantle of womanhood. What afflicts you? You disparage our High Lord and sabotage everyone's repast. Though my blood courses through your veins, I disavow such conduct," Azriel reproached. The tears, obstinate in their flow, could no longer be restrained.
"She's the predicament," I pointed accusatorily at Feyre. "Why jeopardize ourselves for her merely because she's Rhysand's mate? His sole contribution to my existence is to torment me, and you should all be abashed. You permitted her entrance into our domicile, cognizant of her connections with Tamlin. She's accorded more familial regard in a single day than I have throughout my existence. I devote myself to you, shield you, defy my kin to safeguard the fae, and yet, this is the recompense. This isn't the life I was destined for. When war descends, I'll shield the humans, but I refuse to play checkers when you're all engaged in chess around me." I finally erupted.
"You're merely distraught because Cassian hasn't sired you yet. A cup of wine, and you'll be reinvigorated by morn," Rhysand callously remarked. I had reached my limit, a crimson tempest engulfing the room, pinning everyone to their seats. I inundated his lungs with smoke. "Repeat it, Rhys. Utter those words once more," I taunted. He grunted, and I released him.
"You've razed every bridge between us. I desire never to lay eyes on any of you again. It would delight me if you perished in the impending war. If your entire kind faced obliteration, I would revel. I harbor no respect for any of you. You lack a spine, and you..." I pointed accusingly at Rhys. "You exploited me after our liaison. How dare you! And you, of all people..." I pointed at Azriel. "I've known you since infancy. I'm gratified to learn that family holds no significance for you." I averted my gaze, vanishing into the aether, teleporting back to my abode.
"Well, that was the most imbecilic act anyone in this room could have committed," Amren asserted. "Why's that?" Feyre queried. "Because these two have just jeopardized the sole individual capable of challenging me," she replied. Feyre, comprehending Amren's prowess, gazed downward sorrowfully.
"I believe it's my fault; she proclaimed not to fancy me since my arrival," Azriel defended. "She dislikes everyone; you can't burden yourself with blame," I interjected. "Indeed, she can," Mor added. "She bears sole responsibility. Perhaps Ana is correct; perhaps we shouldn't defend her. What if she's a spy? And even if she's not, why do we champion her over someone we've known for centuries? It's unjust, and I won't stand by it, cousin of the highland or not."
Cassian remained silent, grappling internally with the remorse of letting the woman he loved depart in a tumultuous frenzy. He alone bore responsibility, a realization that cut him to the core.
"I won't assert she's incapable of defending herself, but what if she faces an onslaught without aid? What then? We forfeit a comrade, an ally, and a potent weapon due to a disparaging jest and a girl. It's a tragedy to think you've changed," Mor proclaimed, storming out the door.

Do you like ciphers? I love a good hidden message and mysterious paintings, i really like how you set it up in deciphering, it's partially what drew me in to the comic, aside from your gorg art and funny&heartwrenching dialogue so. I was wondering if you liked mystery stories in general, what would be your favorite ones? Owo
Are you that mysterious person from DeviantArt who tried to decipher the canvas and Morse code sketches? If not, hi anyway! If yes, hello, dear!
The name of a last code type you asked about was really hard to track down because of some translation issue. I thought it was a cipher of the Knights of the Rose Croix, but Google was so confused it couldn't give me anything besides this next to the actual Rose Croix cipher, apparently.
And now I'm confused too, so let's make it easier and I'll show you the decoder. What is SPRC cipher Google doesn't know either.
And yes, I like ciphers, but before writing Deciphering I couldn't thought where I can use them. Now I know I can implement them into drawings x)
It's a little bit funny how I found out about ciphers outside of adventure and mystery movies. It may not look like this now, but in 2012-2014 I was pretty devoted fan of My Little Pony G4. I was 20 and went to Czech Republic to attend the pony convention Czequestria 2014. There was a quest, we split into teams and a part of it was to decipher little texts. It looked some gibberish and I couldn't thought what to do with it, until my teammate, a local guy Vojtech, took the paper sheet - and god damn recognised every type of coding was used. He was mumbling under his nose: "Ah, it's Caesar's one. Alright, rotate 4?.. No, it's rotate the alphabet 3 times". I was mesmerized. And you know what? We were the only team who finished this part and got the first place winning the quest - and all thanks to Vojtech! :)
Only a year after I've watched Gravity Falls - and still haven't figured that out how and where could I use ciphers.
And oh hell yeah, I love detective and mystery stories! As much as I love good romance stories, mysteries are my favourite genre. Isn't that the first reason a lot of us played Ace Attorney? It was mine for sure, besides being bored and wanting to play something silly. I didn't know ANYTHING about gay lawyers until I've launched the game last year.
What are my favourites, uf, that's a tough question.
I absolutely loved Endeavour TV series, watched 3 seasons in a row, and I should return to it. The main character is also so sweet, his large translucent blue eyes inspired me to paint Pheenie's eyes that way.
I also love The Silence of the lambs movie.
In terms of books I really love Alan Bradley's series about Flavia de Luce, the first part is called The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. Flavia is a 12 years old genius chemist and the youngest daughter living in a manor with her father, two older sisters and several servants - and around her always happen murders. I like Flavia so much, I called my cat after her. She is so charming, funny and quick-witted, cynical and in love with chemistry, interested in poisons, graveyards, decomposition and, well, solving mysteries. It's really funny moments when adults are trying to hide her from corpses, but she leans in to investigate no matter what. She reminds me of Wednesday Addams, but still in a very fresh and entertaining way. I love a combination of sweet and jesus-fking-christ in one story, but it's mostly really sweet and wholesome. And, gosh, it's written so beautifully!
I also can recommend Daniel Pennac's La Saga Malaussene, first part is The Scapegoat. It might be not my favourite, but it is unforgettable experience for sure. The main character is an older brother of 10+ little siblings and the only adult, every one of his little ones are just a tiny bit magical, which makes the story a bit with magical realism. It also contains a combination of sweet and brutal, like Flavia, but here the contrast is even stronger. And the brutal murders, ouf, make the wholesomeness shine even brighter.
Woah, I feel like I should stop for now. Such topics make me really talkative, and I should go back to work. We can continue later, my inbox anywhere is open ;)

Character Intro: Releine Sholt
@sam-glade suggested I do some character intros for The Tectomancy Saga, so we're starting today with Releine! If you want to be added to a tag list, let me know!
Name: Releine Sholt
Pronouns: she/her
Age: 22
Race: Human
Sexuality: Lesbian
Occupation: Soldier/Bodyguard
Key Traits: Stoic, Stubborn, Pragmatic, Loyal, Quick-witted, Protective
Releine is the main POV character (though not the only one) for The Tectomancy Saga.
Releine left to join the Sixth Company at sixteen, mostly to get away from her drunken father and send her mother a decent paycheque for her younger twin siblings. She thought most of what she had to look forward to was beers with her mates, a good scrap, charming women wherever she went, and probably dying in battle before she got much older.
. . . Until her Commander convinces her to apply for a new assignment: Captain of Her Highness Princess Almyra Tectus's Royal Guard. Releine isn't keen to babysit a spoiled Princess, but it does come with a tidy pay packet. She manages to get herself selected by the impish, yet intriguing Princess, to whom she is never allowed to speak under threat of dire punishment. What she thought would be an easy job turns out to be full of assassins, ghosts, witches, and deadly, powerful magic.
Releine loves to tease, and joke, and be with people she cares about. She also loves to cover herself with a protective, stoic veneer. She'll die to protect you; she's been looking for something to die for. The trouble comes when she runs out of people to put herself in danger for and has to consider for the first time what she actually wants to do with her life.

WIP Intro: Newton's Ferry
that's RIGHT gang i'm making a WIP intro which is basically a blood pact so i'll finish it
genre: historical fiction; novel of manners
setting: a village in Regency England. Spring, 1815
pov: third person present
premise: Spring, 1815. With an ailing father and expensive tastes, Georgiana Fernsby needs a husband, and fast. In her hunt, Georgiana is surrounded by a wacky cast of characters in the village of Newton’s Ferry: newcomer Rose Darlington, visiting from London and surrounded by scandal; curate Robert Steele, whose background separates him from the other residents; intellectual Tiffany Featherby, whose eyes are looking toward the stars; principled Francis Featherby, who feels an obligation to those he loves; and the charming siblings Lydia and Simon Grey, each known to never attend the same ball as the other. Through her interactions with her neighbors and friends, Georgiana discovers the relationships between them, the secrets they keep, and perhaps something she didn’t know about herself.
logline: a group of young adults navigate traditional love and matrimony in unorthodox ways in Regency England.
similar to: anything by Jane Austen; The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde; the Poldark books by Winston Graham; some parts of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy; Icelandic sagas, apparently

My latest, epic poster for "Onward II Exandria: Sir Barley and Sir Ian and The Legend of Vox Machina" (aka "Onward X Critical Role")
SYNOPSIS:
The teenage elf brothers - Ian and Barley from Disney/Pixar's 'Onward' - are back! This time, swords and sorcery just got real as they've been crossover to Exandria, the world of 'Critical Role' full of real magic, real epic adventures, real wizards, bards, and no modern technology!
As they explore and investigate their bewildering, new surroundings while adjusting to it since they can't go back to their own world, Ian and Barley tried to play out their part and make sense of this strange new world since this may or may not be unlike anything similar to Barley's favorite historically role-playing scenario board game, Quests of Yore.
A list of inspirations for the crossover:

The Ultimate LEGO Star Wars Adventure: All Nine Films Reimagined
After 17 years of perfecting their vibes, Traveller’s Tales is coming back to where it all started and totally remastering LEGO Star Wars. If you’re looking to buy Xbox games, this remastered classic is definitely one to consider adding to your collection. But calling it a 'remaster' is a total understatement. This is a fresh, whole new game, revamping not just the OG trilogy but all nine films from the classic “A New Hope” to the “I am the Senate” drama of the prequels, all the way to the final scenes of “The Rise of Skywalker”.
Stunning Ship Animations Enhance Travel Experience in LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
The scripted levels are a blast in co-op, but if you’re looking to buy PS5 games where you have more freedom with character choices, being locked into specific characters can be a bummer sometimes. Like, in Luke’s big showdown with Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, it kinda sucks if you're Player 2 stuck as R2D2, who’s not exactly built for lightsaber duels. On the presentation side, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is straight fire. John Williams’ iconic tracks are a total nostalgia overload, from the epic Duel of the Fates to Rey’s Theme, which feels both mysterious and triumphant. The game’s mix of LEGO figures with realistic backgrounds has never looked this good, thanks to a new environmental weathering system that makes bricks look more worn and realistic. Plus, the animations of your ship flying between planets are sick, giving you that real travel vibe instead of just jumping between levels.
Engaging End-Game Content with Shallow Film Levels
Every epic set-piece you can think of is here, done in super playable style—whether it’s the Death Star trench run, podracing, or riding the giant waves to Death Star II’s ruins. If you’re looking to buy PS5 games, this is exactly the kind of thrilling experience you’d want to find. And once you wrap up the classic trilogy, you can dive into the prequels or the new Skywalker trilogy and unlock them as you go. But here’s a little gripe: the complexity of the tasks can be a bit meh. The game’s clearly aimed at both younger players and older fans, but for me, a grown-up, it often feels a bit too basic. You’ll be tapping d-pad directions to open doors, rotating bezels, and smashing everything in sight. The end-game content does ramp up the challenge, but the film levels themselves can feel pretty shallow.
Technically Impressive and Wholesomely Fun with a Touch of Playfulness
And here's the final cherry on top for parents: the split-screen two-player mode is chef’s kiss. It looks almost as good as the single-player mode and lets you either stick together as a team or go off and do your own thing in any hub area. So one player might be sorting out a candy shop’s shelves while the other is cracking into a bank vault through an open window, or racing a Fathier through the streets. It’s perfect for parents and kids to enjoy together, or for bickering siblings to explore the hub areas separately. Despite the occasional bug or crash (and I’ve seen a few), it works like a charm and is a huge reason to grab the game if you’ve got someone else to play with.

OH HI YOU
🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
Tyrion tops Jon, Jon tops Dany and Dany tops Tyrion. And this is either how we achieve peace or how the world ends
🍦 ⇢ name three good things about a character you hate
Oh, okay: (1) I think Tywin is a very well constructed and layered character without being a caricature of a fascist. (2) I think his marriage to Joanna is one of the most enigmatic and fascinating of the entire saga precisely because of how sparse the direct mentions of her are - you can fill the gaps just based on what's left in the wake of her death? like joanna made him laugh three times and we pretty much got ASOIAF because of it. how amazing is that. (3) I know noble women sometimes are treated as chattel by their parents in Westeros, and that this is the main reason why he opposed Genna's marriage to Emmon - he just didn't think Emmon was good enough, but I think that was actually a nice thing he did, like, speak up for her in that moment. It's amazing how sibling love, dysfunctional as it might be, is the only redeeming thing in the entirety of House Lannister. It gets confused with loyalty to The Lannister Legacy and it's impossible to set these things apart but like I truly believe all generations of Lannisters are bound together by horrible trauma and while the vertical relationships are a horror show, I am often softened by the horizontal ones - I love the Tywin/Genna/Kevan combo. Nothing against Tygett and Gerion, I think they're just a different dynamics and they're not as wrapped up around Tywin as Genna and Kevan and...... do I need to write fic about this now? be so serious T_T i don't have time for this
🥐 ⇢ name one internet reference that will always make you laugh
as a homage to tiktok being taken down in america or whatever (i am not american, nor have i ever had a tiktok account in my life): I cannot be the only person who DIES laughing at "do you want avocados or not???" 😭😭 Isn't money kind of beneath you? Incredible use of 20 seconds and a great song. like this video specifically is the reason why it shouldn't be banned.
🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
I once searched for the weirdest museums and art galleries around the globe for a fic and let me tell you! This world we live in is so big and charming and amusing!!!
thank you my love <3 ask me stuff, everyone
