My love for anthropomorphism (mostly classic films such as The Bad Guys or Disney's Zootopia) has inspired me to create my own world to show how animals or mother nature itself show pure beauty and strength compared to it's human counterpart. Here these lovely furry ladies are based on the WWE woman wrestlers as seen on each pic.

luke was beside himself, he was upset and absolutely livid with himself. he should have never let liona leave, he shouldn't have done what he did - well he regrets not saying anything to her. he also hated that he didn't have her number, to at least attempt to explain himself. liona was too upset, with herself more than anything. she was upset at the fact that she allowed herself to be as vulnerable as she was. she suffered from either explaining and oversharing too much or being quiet, and having nobody hear from her. no in-between. she felt guilt that she allowed him to kiss her, only to reject her right after. and then a part of her felt bad, because of the look that grazed his pale and strong features, once he saw that she was leaving and leaving with chris.

once the two of them left, he dropped her off at her mom's greenwich village and then didn't hear from her that weekend, nor any of their friends. she had shut everybody off and felt as if she had embarrassed herself. yet, her mom would disagree. after 2 am dip sum, coco, and a homemade charlotte pie (russian apple pie) she was somewhat cured and opened up to her mom. she went back to her apartment in west village, which she shared with sean and rain her best friends from highschool. the two were up and eating a late breakfast when she walked through the squeaky front door, and it was hard to not hear that she had entered. "good morning lioness." sean said as she came to sit down on the barstool, and she smiled softly. he wrapped an arm around her, and she leaned into him. "hows mama?" he questioned and liona smiled. "she's good, made me some charlotte pie and got dip sum for me." she hummed making the two smile. "wanna talk about what happened?" rain asked, treading lightly. liona shook her head, taking the mug of coffee from her. "ill talk about it later." she said shrugging, before heading off to her bedroom.

liona and the group found themselves out a week and a half later in lower manhattan, which took about 20 minutes to talk to as a group. chris and liona were the first ones to walk up to the bar, while the rest of them found a booth in the corner; opposite side of the bar which had a very loud group. chris wrapped an arm around liona, meeting the other side of bar next to her, leaning in to hear her talk about her classes that week. they ordered a round of shots for the group, a long island ice tea for her and an expresso martini for himself. he paid for the group, flashing his id for the bartender. she scurried back toward the group, and plopped down in the booth next to gavin. "they are so fucking loud, oh my god." rain complained about the group opposite side of the bar from them, and when she looked over she felt her body flood with dread. and anxiety. there was the very boy who rejected her. she turned back towards gavin who was trying to get her attention, then chris showed up with the drinks. she thanked him and passed around the shots. they clunk them on the table lightly, and took them at the same time. she quickly grabbed the lime and sucked on it, to get rid of the burn that was burning her throat. she then sipped on her long island ice tea, and leaned back into the booth as chris sat across from her.

"you see him?" chris whispered to the girl, and she nodded softly flicking her gaze over towards them again. which proved to be the wrong answer, because luke was already looking over. she swallowed softly, before gazing at chris and then back towards the group. luke grew annoyed or angry, he could not quite decipher but was agitated that chris and her were sitting closely together. he watched as she laughed at what somebody said, and he wished that the reason she was smiling was because of him. as cheesy as that sounds, but she smiled so wide and brightly that he thought she was an angel.

about 35 minutes later, she was on her way back to the bar with her fake id in hand and ready for a vodka cran. she strummed her fingers on the wooden bar and then felt somebody step up next to her. "just a coke, please." she heard the familiar voice of the curly haired boy. "hi kai." he started and she turned towards him, hating how quickly she looked over. "hi luke." she said softly, meeting his eye too quickly to her liking. his hazel eyes pierced her brown ones, as they looked at one another. "how have you been, kai?" he questioned and she shrugged, "classes are rotten but what's new?" she quipped, thanking the bartender before taking a sip of the spirited drink. luke got his coke and turned back towards her. "hows your astronomy elective?" he questioned, thinking back to the night that they had met. she shrugged, "harder than it looks that is for sure." she said giggling, before shaking her head. "apparently trevor one of my brothers best friends was an astronomy major back at boston, he said its hard but interesting." and she agreed to that. "no for sure. im just glad that's not my major, but im glad i took it." she said smiling softly. she looked back over towards her friend group, and luke took the opportunity. "do you wanna get out of here? i know a pizza place right up the street." she looked back at luke, and giggled. she was quite surprised that he offered up pizza, but she would not pass up the opportunity. "are you gonna embarrass me again?" she quizzed, an eyebrow arching. he shook his head profusely, "and if i did embarrass you in any way that was never my intention last time. i apologize truly for that." he said as anxiety pulsed through his body. she nodded softly, "well alright then, lets go get a slice." she said setting her drink back on the bar and taking ahold of his hand before walking towards the entrance. the weather for october was still quite warm, with a slight humidity to the 62 degree weather. the two of them headed towards the pizza place, down the block weaving in and out of people, yet never letting eachothers hand go.

the two ordered some cheese pizza slices, sitting in a booth furthest from the door. liona smiled widely and shut her eyes savoring the fresh pizza. "i wish they had this back home, or well this good of pizza. which yknow might be a good thing because id be there everyday." she joked, as luke laughed. "you go home a lot?" he questioned and she nodded. "pretty much every month or two or sometimes more depending my work load, if i can get work off and what my dad home games look like. he typically gets me home once a month with home tickets, usually ill see a friend of my dads or family friend depending on the team." she explained before taking another bite. "anybody i know?" he questioned, and she nodded. "yeah evegeni malkin is an uncle to me, i see him a lot too, and then andrei svechnikov who's like a brother to me, i call him my russian brat which translates to russian brother or something similar." she said before finishing the slice. luke nodded, "how long have you known him?" he asked somewhat jealous, and she grinned at him. "since he was drafted so 2018 i think. my dad had him come train in the summer with him right before he reported to carolina. he stayed with us in dc and yeah." she said sipping some of her lemonade. luke nodded, "there are a couple others, around the league but im not friends with them, i just know them through my dad." she said shrugging and luke nodded.

"do you wanna tell me why you rejected me that night?" she questioned a few minutes later and luke looked up from a text his brother had send. he set down his phone before responding, "truthfully, i didn't want you to think i wanted more than that. i mean i do but i didn't want it that night, i didn't want you to think i was taking advantage of you or anything." he confessed and she nodded softly. maybe she had judged him too quickly. "well thankyou, i appreciate that but im not a child luke. im older than you." she said half teasing, half serious. "i know, but we had just met and i wasn't comfortable doing anything more than getting to know you that night. im sorta..im sorta shy." he said honestly. she smiled, "i don't think I've ever heard a guy say that, let alone out loud." she said, "but i appreciate it. im glad that you felt comfortable enough to say it out loud and to me." she mused reaching over and taking ahold of his left hand. he smiled while blushing. he looked down at their hands, brushing his thumb with hers.

"wanna meet my roommates cat?" she questioned cheekily and luke chuckled, "id love to meet them." he grinned.

Do you think William's reputation will survive? I feel so sorry for him and Catherine, I had to take a break from social media, the affair rumors are everywhere, everyone is now believing he had an affair, foreign media is now talking about him fathering an illegitimate child with Rose, they are even accusing him of domestic violence and people take it all as a fact.

In the long term big picture, William will be fine. A lot of this is going to be just a paragraph or two when he’s Charles’s age and we’re celebrating a jubilee or the birth of George’s child or Louis’s wedding or Charlotte leading the Lionesses to Olympic Gold and World Cup medals.

But in the short term, yes, William’s reputation will take a hit. What he does next will determine how long it takes for his reputation to climb back up. There are three things that he can do:

Prove that everyone is wrong, that his marriage is fine and he does not have anger management issues.

Go away and not be in the news for a few weeks or months till everyone’s forgotten.

Work. Really crank out the engagements, get his numbers up to spitting distance of Edward’s, and maintain them at that baseline from here on out.

#1 requires becoming more public, and we know that’s not going to happen for the Waleses. That’s fine. History will have to judge on that one. But there is some good news on this front - the Chumleys have had enough and they’ve begun taking legal action on the rumors involving them and their children.

#2 is not happening. William can’t just peace out and not work or be seen for 3-4 months. He’s the heir, it’s his job to be seen and to work, especially when Charles can’t do much because of his own health.

Which leaves us with #3 - work. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. William (and Kate) both need to work more. Their numbers both need to go way up once Kate’s current health crisis is over and she’s back to top form. If they’re not going to work more, that’s fine but they need to show us more of the in-progress work that they’re currently doing and not save it all for the bow-on-top end-result. There’s a reason why the photos and videos of The Queen and Charles working through the red boxes are popular and, at times, iconic - because it shows that they’re working. If just every other week we got a photo of William in a meeting or Kate reading the reports that the Early Years Foundation says she’s been reviewing.

However, the issue with William’s work is that it can’t be a one-and-done. What ever changes they make and whatever the new number is after they’ve scaled up, that has to be the new baseline, the new standard. It must be maintained, otherwise it becomes clear that it was just a PR exercise to distract from these scandals.

Something else I’ve been thinking of a bit lately is the Waleses’ engagement numbers, particularly Kate’s and since accession in 2022. There was a lot of talk throughout 2023 of how disappointing it was that the Waleses turned in the same numbers for 2023 as they did while they were Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, at the bottom of the list. There was an idea on the blogs that everyone understood William and Kate to keep a lower profile through the spring so the attention was rightly focused on Charles and the coronation, but then they’ve should’ve scaled up from late summer onwards, after the anniversary of The Queen’s passing to demonstrate their ability to be heirs and show acceptance of their future.

But now I wonder if Kate’s numbers have been affected by her condition. They haven’t said a whole lot, but what I know of bowel/stomach issues is that they’re usually chronic and people can suffer symptoms for a long time before surgery becomes an option. So with that, perhaps Kate’s numbers didn’t change much last year because she was dealing with these issues? And to save face, the palace made the usual “for the children” excuses until it became emergent and the surgery essential. Just something to think about.

“They know, right?” Red mumbles, her eyes never leaving Liam’s figure. 

“Yeah. But don’t worry, they’re mad at me.” 

“It’s not your fault, you didn’t know. Not even I knew.” 

Jake's phone lits up, revealing the wedding photo he had kept as his lockscreen for years. He tries to hide it, turning the phone, but Red’s hand stops him. The feeling of her warm, soft skin almost makes him cry again. 

“You have our wedding picture as a wallpaper?” 

“Dada” Jake drops the phone and grabs Liam’s hands. He had been hugging him since he saw him in the parking lot. He didn’t want to let go. Jake didn't want to let go either. 

“Yes, buddy?” 

Liam’s hands move up to Jake’s face, squishing his cheeks and making the pilot laugh. He starts speaking in his own language, which Jake doesn’t understand. He turns to Red, asking for help with wide eyes. 

“He wants you to sleep with him tonight.” She whispers. 

“Oh well, I don’t know if I-” 

“Pwease” 

Charlotte parks in front of the house, gets out of the car, and opens the door to take Liam in his arms. “Come on, baby. Mom and Dad have a lot of catching up to do.” 

“Dada don’t leave!” Liam yells, already feeling anxious about being taken away from his dad. 

“Not leaving, promise. Look.” Jake takes off his dog tags, handing them to his son. “Dada can’t leave without these. You hold them, and Dada won’t go away. Okay?” 

“Otay,” he giggles. And just like that, he walks inside the house. 

“He likes shiny things.” Red comments, looking at her feet. “I always told him that you were far away saving the world and that you would sleep with him once you came back.” 

“Red, look at me, please.” 

She raises her head, tears welling up in her beautiful eyes. “I didn’t want to hide him I swear, you never answered my calls and-” 

Jake hugs her, for the first time in three years, he feels the world fall into place. “Don’t worry about that. I’m the only one responsible for this mess, Red. I just… I want to be part of his life.” 

“Jake, this isn’t like having a relationship. If you assume that role, if you want to be his father, you can’t back out. I’m not letting you hurt him as much as you hurt me.” 

“I won’t. I can’t explain why I did that, but I swear on my son that I did what I thought was right.” 

Red sighs, sitting on the car's hood. “It’s complicated to explain to a two-year-old that his parents are divorced.” 

“I can’t even imagine,” he sits next to her, smiling when he hears Liam’s voice from inside the house. “What does he think we are?” 

“He thinks his dad is a superhero, and he has to be away from his wife and son to protect the world but also to protect them from the bad guys.” 

Jake almost snorts. It’s like she knows the truth. “So in his eyes, we’re married and love each other.” 

“Yep.”

“What’s the plan, Commander?” 

Red chuckles, a nervous laugh that ends up in tears. “I don’t know, I wasn’t prepared for this to happen. I feel like a bad mom, a horrible woman, and a bitchy ex-wife.” 

“Hey, it’s not that bad. I abandoned my wife and unborn son, never talked about her to anyone, missed two years of my child’s life, and just found out that I’m the biggest asshole this planet has seen.” 

They laugh at the same time. What a mess they’re in. 

“You are more than welcome in Liam’s life. But if you leave, I will haunt you and skin you alive.” There’s a fire in her eyes. The same one he saw outside Cyclone's office.

I just want folks to realize that William doing that video message with Charlotte doesn’t change anything because there is no excuse as to why he didn’t go to Australia to support the Lionesses as they play in the Finals for the World Cup. He’s the President of the Football Association (UK) so he should be there.

If he has no problem with flying to New York and then a month/months later flying to Singapore for that EarthShot thing (which is another issue in of itself but that’s for another time) then he should be in Australia. At the end of the day William (& Kate) is lazy, he only wants to do glitzy engagements where he gets to be the main focus and we all know that if the men’s team made it to the finals he would’ve been there by hook or crook!

i just wanna share this.

i want a period piece show about female pirates. like, that tells the stories of them. not just Anne Bonney, Mary Read, & Ching Shih. i want them and also Joanna of Flanders, Duchess of Brittany (c. 1295 – September 1374) & Jeanne de Clisson, the Lioness of Brittany (1300 – 1359). i want Gráinne O'Malley/Grace O'Malley/Gráinne Ní Mháille (c. 1530 – c. 1603), Sayyida al Hurra (1485 – July 14th, 1561), and the women of the Killigrew family. i want the possibly fictional, possibly real pirate women of Charlotte de Berry (17th century) & Jacquotte Delahaye (fl. 1656). i want the real but stories are mostly probably fictional Anne Dieu-le-Veut (August 28th, 1661 – January 11th, 1710). i want something that shows us the pirate women from outside Europe & the Caribbean, i want the Canadian pirate woman, Maria Lindsey, and the American pirate woman, Rachel Wall.
