Winner of the January 2017 monthly illustration vote on my Patreon - McCree fom Overwatch.

I've not played the game, but I rather like the characters and the setting. There's surprisingly little information on McCree out there, so I drew him for what he's most known - his Deadeye "It's High Noon" ultimate attack. Kind of wish the skull in the background turned out more visible, but predicting stuff like this doesn't always turn out well. Oh well.

DoubleTale FAQ

Q: What is DoubleTale?

DoubleTale is an OC-Based story where Cter, our main character, gets dragged into the Underground from his own world by Gaster to stop the Fallen Human’s constant RESETs! It was initially created by @xwolf-26​ in 2016, and then, with inspiration from @juliesjagi, rewritten in late 2018. It’s constantly being updated, and you can find the original story here.

The comic itself was started by me, @connorwing in April 2020, though I have no involvement in the writing process. 

Please note that DoubleTale is VERY MUCH an R-Rated story. There’s a lot of swears and blood and such, and very mature themes. Each has its own “potentially concerning tags”, so please be sure to read those before you read the chapter itself. “Viewer Discretion Is Advised,” as they say.

Q: Can you add [AU/Fandom Character]?

DoubleTale is a story steeped very deeply in the Undertale Fandom, liberally using characters like Error!Sans and CORE!Frisk, but please don’t ask if a specific AU will or won’t be added or included - If they have a place in the story, they will appear.

Q: Is there an OST I can listen to?

Unfortunately, no. Various songs do make an appearance within the story itself (like L’s Theme Metal Remix by Charlie Parra del Riego being Cter’s battle theme) but there is no official OST with original songs as of the time of writing this. 

Q: Can I make fandubs/music/games/other?

Of course! Please be sure to link back to the original story and disclose that it’s fan content, but otherwise, go nuts!

Q: What are Frisk and Chara’s genders?

They are both nonbinary and go by They/Them pronouns. There’s some backstory about the specifics, but please try to refer to the both of them as they/them.

Q: Can I translate the comic?

Yeah! Just be sure to link back to the blog and credit @xwolf-26 as the original creator!

Q: Can I write fanfiction?

Of course! There’s 21 “DoubleKids” for a reason. As always, just credit @xwolf-26 and you’ll be good to go!

Q: What programs do you use?

I exclusively use Paint.NET, albeit with various plugins that make the process way smoother than it would go normally, along with the Undertale textbox generator that can be found here.
