too many thoughts about the monza vlog to function i fear. but i do have a question for the elder tifosi… have the tifosi truly always been insane about all their drivers? like. i see some people say that they’d be this feral over anyone in red, it’s not just charles etc. etc., i genuinely cannot fathom this level of Crazy for all of them??

Ferrari is like a kind of religion. Enzo Ferrari’s house in Fiorano is kindda like a temple or church standing for his spirit.

Seb used to think himself belonged to the house he always looked up to. He was attracted by the history, the aura of the racing God in red, and he would like to devote whatever he had to bring the glory back to that house. At the end however, he only found the temple of god gradually became the burden of his heart. Delivering all his talents and experience, sacrificing his longing for happiness and freedom didn’t bring what he deserved. He left, forever. Perhaps his nature had meant he didn’t belong to any religion. “Ich gehöre nur mir.”

Charles is opening the door, bearing the similar hope and belief, stepping in without knowing what behind the door is waiting for him. He had heard the echoes of the history, he was told. The destiny of the one forced to leave was a metaphor, a warning. He witnessed the departure of the one he admired. But he still dived into the destiny and decided to see what he could do to reverse the curse.

While Michael, the Holy Spirit, just stayed upstairs watching all of ups and downs, comes and goes, in silence.
