Proposed new superpower for systems: the ability to speak in all headmates' voices at once when using the body. This would give systems much appreciated intimidation, attention, and ~spooky~ buffs

If there are folks coming over here from systok, welcome! Allow me to give you some tips about the Tumblr Experience™.
Please be aware that the atmosphere here may be different from what you're used to; a lot of folks here like to learn from each other, discuss news or insights, and share experiences, partly due to how Tumblr often involves more free-roaming discussion (as in, posts can "wander" all over the site and reach lots of different people, all of whom may add onto previous additions) rather than TikTok's system of mostly-self-contained comment sections. If you don't want a post wandering, make sure to turn off reblogs (the Tumblr equivalent of reposts) for that post! You can find it in the settings (post options) menu of a post while editing it.
Due to how Tumblr is much more anonymous than TikTok (which shows your face and links to your location, among other things), people are often open about their alters and unique experiences here. But, of course, you should still practice safety and not give out information that someone could use to harm or identify you! Most people don't even show their face here. And on that note, don't go demanding personal information from random people on here! They are entitled to their privacy. You are not entitled to knowing the details of their trauma, their sexuality, their identity, or whatever else.
Please remember to be respectful; a lot of folks here have a strong distaste for the drama and discourse that systok is known for. If someone isn't actively, actually harming you, you don't need to puff up like an angry cat or send them cruel messages over them posting something you don't like or don't agree with! Just block them and move on. (And no, someone with/having system experiences that you haven't heard of anyone experiencing before isn't "misinformation" that you need to "correct". Not every system is going to be exactly alike. They're not harming you by being different from you; move on.)
Finally, as a general rule, write some sort of post or message in your bio/handle so people know you're not a bot! You may get blocked by people assuming so, otherwise.
There's more I could say, but I think this covers some of the most important basics. Others can add on in the notes if they have other suggestions for newbies, though!
TLDR: those new to the system + plural sides of Tumblr, welcome! Be respectful! Change your icon ASAP!

Me: throughout the course of my life, there will be many times in which my knowledge is lacking or incorrect, and others correct me. This is good, because it means I have a chance to learn and continue my life with the correct information instead of what I thought was true, but actually wasn't. Being wrong, learning, and growing are all parts of life, and there is no shame in them. There is nothing wrong with being wrong every once in a while; it doesn't mean I'm a horrible person. It's just something that happens sometimes.
Also me, whenever I am corrected on something: I need to disintegrate into a million bajillion particles right this very second

Tumblr can force an update that causes everyone using older versions of the app to have to update it to a version with the Community tab but they won't send out a patch that makes sure that same Community tab doesn't turn into Flashing Lights Central if you misclick on it while using the "wrong" (not updated enough for their tastes) version. In short, Tumblr as a company is perfectly willing to harm their disabled users if it means those users are forced to use their shitty ~most recent update~ with all its ads and unnecessary buttons and nonsense, which only exist because the rich fucks in charge decided they'd make this site profitable enough for their tastes at all costs (including the cost of their users' patience, approval, and literal health). Hellsite

NGL, while I understand and mostly agree with posts that talk about how using Precisely The Right Language isn't as important as actually doing the right thing (especially when it comes to activism and fighting bigotry), it sometimes feels like people took that and swung the other direction into never making even the smallest change to their vocabulary because "it doesn't matter as much as what I actually do". And like, yeah, getting out there and making a change you can see is important, but you should also be, y'know, not reinforcing other people's shitty behavior and biases with what you say if you know better. Doing good deeds does not cancel out the less-than-ideal things you say, just like how saying things politely doesn't cancel out any shit you do. And I don't even mean, like, the worst offenders of slurs and horrific insults; if you think changing a single word in your everyday speech to be more inclusive is "too much", that doesn't bode well for your intentions when taking action. That doesn't tell me you're "one of the good guys". That tells me that you missed the point of "being well-intentioned is more important than being well-spoken", and have no intentions of being kind and respectful to speak of.
Yeah, I'd rather work with someone who genuinely cares but says kinda rude stuff than someone who pretends to care because they say everything "right" but are actually going to be an obstacle in our way. But the key part of that is "genuinely cares", and if you're going around spitting ignorant and hateful shit, or can't be bothered to make even a token effort to use inclusive language (or even just language that doesn't result in harm being done to the communities we're fighting for), it doesn't seem to me like you care at all.

I keep going back and forth on whether we're mostly LSN or mostly MSN, and at this point I think I just want to I reject the entire notion of support needs labels for myselves. It all seems based on subjectivity and ambiguity on what "decides" someone's level, which I'm sure has its uses, but if I may be so bold, I do have "struggles with ambiguity" disorder, here. That's how we got here in the first place. It's vague and confusing and from what I've seen, people love to shove "medium support needs" with either high support needs or low support needs arbitrarily, anyway, assuming they even remember that there's more experiences out there than the two most extreme forms of LSN or HSN, so it doesn't even seem to make a difference. I'm glad these labels can help others but sometimes people talk about them as if they're perfect tools for communicating our needs and therefore every autistic person must sort themselves into the Appropriate Box when really. You are telling the people who struggle with ambiguity to define themselves by ambiguous terms. And then using them to create new stereotypes and straw-men. Well done, I guess.
