Tumblr can force an update that causes everyone using older versions of the app to have to update it to a version with the Community tab but they won't send out a patch that makes sure that same Community tab doesn't turn into Flashing Lights Central if you misclick on it while using the "wrong" (not updated enough for their tastes) version. In short, Tumblr as a company is perfectly willing to harm their disabled users if it means those users are forced to use their shitty ~most recent update~ with all its ads and unnecessary buttons and nonsense, which only exist because the rich fucks in charge decided they'd make this site profitable enough for their tastes at all costs (including the cost of their users' patience, approval, and literal health).
