Remember how I said I wanted to take a break from SotM-related art decks for a while after finishing Mercury's deck? I lied.

My friend Bobbert needed artwork for his latest environment deck the HMCS Moondancer and, without his normal artist collaborator available, I stepped in to help out. Bobbert gave me pretty much free rein with a lot of the cameos, so I fit in a bunch of my favorites from the Custom SotM community (as well as some the Menagerie characters like Jason Quill, Charade, and Space Bug!).

With this done, maybe I'll take an actual break of SotM-related art... but I doubt it.

Finished up art for my next SotM deck last month: the Menagerie's speedster and Halcyon's favorite son, Mercury!

Like the other members of the Menagerie, Mercury is one of the player characters from the Masks game I played in from 2017-2018. As the Legacy, Mercury was the most traditional superhero on the team (at least out of the original members) and a lot of his connections were to the old guard of the Halcyon superhero community. Mercury was always ready to protect everyone with his amazing speed, which naturally slotted him into a defensive/tanky deck.

I've got a friend who offered to do the coding for Mercury's digital deck (thanks @spooky-ghostwriter!) but I don't expect to release that until after the holidays at the earliest. Really want to dive into some other projects that I haven't had time to work on since I started working on SotM decks. But don't worry, fans of my SotM decks, I've still got lots of decks I still want to make. :)

Was reminded after my last post that I've never posted by Menagerie issue cover mock ups anywhere outside of my file repositories (there you can print off your own copies of my desks for you personal use). They're part of a trading card where the front is a cover and the back is info about the focal character on that cover.

Always slow to post here but I updated my Workshop Mod for Sentinels of the Multiverse on Steam today, so now you can play as an angry girl with too many guns and friendly ghost to take on villains at a semi-haunted basketball arena.

You know, perfectly normal superhero activities.

I completely forgot I could finally post the artwork I did for the Fan Favorite zine back in 2019. Definitely not a good example of what my artwork is like today, but still a piece I enjoyed working on and getting to share.

Also jeez, a couple of these characters' designs have drifted since then. All for the better though.

Spent the whole week drawing women in suits.  Not the worst way to spend my free time.
