Finished Taleasin's run today, and gosh, I miss them already. ❤️

🔸️Taleasin had a cat growing up. They named it Mr. Whiskers and they loved that cat deeply. Despite it being a few years since he passed away due to old age, Taleasin is still hesitant to get another cat. They want one, but they fear they'll compare it too much to Mr. Whiskers to get attached to it.

🔸️Esha has never had any pets. She has always wanted one, but never had the opportunity to get one. She wants a dog, preferably a mabari, and she is contemplating getting one when settling down in Nevarra. She just has to convince Emmrich first...

🔸️Felassan grew up in a Dalish clan. Pets weren't as common, but he spent a lot of time with the Halla, learning how to care for them. He loves animals, and would love to have several pets in all shapes and sizes.

🔸️Tannivh has had different pets throughout the years; cats, dogs, snakes and a few birds of different kinds. Becoming a Crow didn't give him a lot of time to care for an animal, but he might convince Lucanis to get a cat. They're great mousers after all.

Saw a sex questionnaire about ones ship, but I can't remember who made it as I only screenshot the questions and not the top of the post. But here are my answers anyway. 🙈

1. Do they like to top or bottom their s/o?

Taleasin is a bottom. They can top, but it's not a preference.

2. What is their favorite part of their s/o's body?

His eyes. His chest. His hands. Taleasin loves everything about Emmrich's body - but if they have to chose, then hands.

3. Are they a couple who likes to cuddle?

Oh, yes. Every opportunity they have. As Taleasin suffers from a lot of anxiety, Emmrich has found that cuddling helps them relax - so they tend to do it a lot.

4. Are they adventurous in bed?

A bit. Taleasin isn't inexperienced, but since Emmrich is still way more experienced than them, Taleasin tends to want to experiment a little - to find out what they both like.

5. Do their sex drives match?

Yes, absolutely. Both have high sex drives, but Taleasin needs to work a little with it as his last couple of relationships has only mattered if they slept together - so Emmrich sometimes has to calm him down a little. That he still loves them even if they don't have sex right now.

6. What is their favorite intimately sexual thing they like to do to their partner?

Taleasin loves to go down on Emmrich. They love the feeling of him coming undone by just their hands and mouth.

7. What is their favorite intimately non-sexual thing to do with their partner?

Cuddling up on the couch in the library, resting his head in Emmrich's lap while he reads for them. They finds his voice soothing, and sexy.

8. What is the one thing their partner can do that will automatically turn them on?

His corpse whispering. Not because the whispering in and of itself is sexy, but the way he weaves his magic is inherently a turn on for Taleasin - which has led to a couple (read: quite a few) awkward moments.

9. Do they keep to the bedroom or just do wherever they happen to be?

At first they keep to the bedroom, especially when they're at the Lighthouse. But once the Evanuris are defeated, and Taleasin moves to Nevarra to be with Emmrich, the other Mourn Watchers have to watch out.

10. What is their favorite position with their s/o?

69, pretzel dip, arch

11. Are they into dirty talk?

Taleasin is really bad at it, but Emmrich has a silver tongue and can turn them into a wet puddle by just whispering a few well-chosen words in their ear.

12. Clothes on or off?

Both, depending on the mood. Off if they're taking their time, on if they're doing a quickie in the Memorial Garden or in Emmrich’s office.

13. Are they into bondage at all?

Depends on the mood. But Taleasin can enjoy it sometimes when they feel like relinquishing their control, as they're quite the control freak.

14. Are they comfortable talking to each other about their fantasies and desires?

Emmrich is very comfortable, but it took a while for Taleasin to become comfortable. Mostly because he is shy and found it a little embarrassing to talk about.

15. Have they ever been caught having sex?

One time by Bellara, which caused her to avoid both of them for days.

The second time they were almost caught by a colleague to Emmrich when they had a little fun in Emmrich's office.

16. About how many times a week do they have sex?

In the beginning it's often. Mostly twice a day, but as they settle down after everything and build a life together it becomes a little less often. But they try to do it at least every other day.

17. Do they sext/send naughty pictures/write each other steamy love notes?

Emmrich loves to write little notes that he hides around the mansion, only for Taleasin to find them and blush profusely. Taleasin isn't much for writing, but he tends to whisper his desire in Emmrich's ear.

18. Any bedroom specific nicknames for each other?

No.

19. Are they loud or quiet?

Taleasin can be quite loud, while Emmrich has a bit more self-control and is often more quiet.

20. Do they like to play games or tease each other before sex or even foreplay?

Oh, Emmrich is a big tease. He loves to do things that he knows turns Taleasin on, give them a certain glance or touch them in a certain way.

After finishing Felassan's run, I decided to remake Taleasin - but wondered who they would be if they had another upbringing. So, Cassiano was born. An Antivan Crow, whose trauma is different yet prevalent. Who prefer to fight their way out of a situation than talk.

I look forward to seeing this version of Taleasin. But the only constant in either of their lives are Emmrich - because I'm a firm believer that if it's true love, they'll find each other in every life.

Sitting back in the chair, Emmrich puts the paper down again. His mind has turned to all the things he'd like to do with them. To them. And all the things he has done to them.

Panic Attack - Emmrich Volkarin x NB!Rook

Anxiety is building. It fills them up, making their nerves fire all at once. Not even the anxious fidgeting is helping - that which has always been a tell that something is wrong.

“Tarquin must have loved you.”

No, he hadn't.

“Went on a stake out with him once. Turns out I “fidget too much”.”

But this wasn't a stake out. This was the real deal, and everything began to add up. D'meta's crossing, Treviso blighted, Weisshaupt. And even though they had managed to fight two - two - blighted dragons in Hossberg, they felt as if they were breaking under the pressure. 

Walking aimlessly through the Lighthouse, their feet seem to have led them to the only person who might have a solution. 

They hesitantly knocked on Emmrich's door, opening it before the professor had a chance to respond, walked in and began pacing back and forth in front of the desk.

The professor looked up from the letter he was in the middle of writing, a pleasant smile on his lips.

“Ah, Ro-” He immediately grew quiet when he saw the state they were in, a worried frown settling in between his brows.

He got up from the chair, stepping to place himself in their path. When they stood before him, he gently placed his hands on their shoulders - determinedly, but not forcefully, keeping them still.

“Taleasin.” Their name rolled off his tongue, like water into a goblet, and it was enough to break the worst of the anxious trance.

They looked up at Emmrich, meeting his gentle brown eyes. There was unspoken worry in them as they slowly and meticulously traced Taleasin's features, as if he was trying to read his mind.

“My dear, what has caused you such distress?”

Taleasin lowered their gaze, fixating it on their hands that were still fidgeting - now with the seam of their sleeve. 

“Everything I do -”

“Is good enough,” Emmrich's voice was gentle but firm. “I do not want you to think otherwise, even for a second.”

The elf raised their gaze again, but struggled to meet the professor's. “But -”

Emmrich let his hands slowly travel down Taleasin's arms, making small circular movements as they did. Once he reached their hands he took them, holding them and tracing small circles into their palms with his thumbs. 

“I can not even begin to fathom the pressure you are under, my dear, but there is one thing I know for certain - you are doing everything you can.” He leaned forth slightly, just enough to press a gentle kiss to their forehead. “You have the biggest heart I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, Tal, and I am forever grateful that you allow me to share in it with you. But do promise me one thing.”

“Whatever you want.”

“That you come to me, immediately, when these thoughts intrude.”

Taleasin, feeling more calm than they had done in days, nodded slowly. “I promise.”

A satisfied smile graced Emmrich's lips and he leaned in again, this time catching Taleasin's lips in a loving kiss. “Good, dearest.”

🔸️Apart from their parents, there was a young Laetan boy when Taleasin grew up who became their first real friend. They were friends for many years, but unfortunately they grew apart. Taleasin still remembers him fondly and loves to reminisce about the trouble they'd get up to as kids.

When it comes to affection, Taleasin is a gift giver and tends to shower people they care about with gifts.

🔸️Natalis doesn't have too many memories of his mother, but there was an older man - another slave - who took Natalis under his wing when he was bought. During those formative years, he was the closest thing Natalis had to a parent.

Later on, Viago became that parental figure even though he might have fought it tooth and nail. But during the years, they have come to rely on each other - if not care about each other.

Natalis has had a rough childhood, and struggles sometimes with showing affection. But he is a very physical person, and tend to hug and touch people he cares about.

🔸️Felassan has a big family, which he cares deeply about. He also has a lot of friends, many from the Veil Jumpers. Felassan is a very social person and has an easy time getting to know people, but despite having many friends; there's only a handful which he considers close friends.

Felassan prefers act of service and tends to do things for those he cares about; whether it's running an errand or cooking.

🔸️Esha's mother was very loving and did the best she could despite the circumstances they lived under. But the first real person to show her any real care and affection was Rafe, one of the people to save her from drowning when the galley she was a slave on was sinking. Unfortunately, he was killed five years later.

But during those years she made several friends, and they are still friends to this day - over twenty years later.

Esha shows her affection by mirroring the person she cares for, in a way. If they love food, she'll cook for them. If they struggle with something, she'll help. She gives them what they need.

Ooh, this is a fun question!

🔶️ Taleasin has adoptive parents, whom they loves very much. It was hard growing up as an elf in Minrathous, but Quintus and Aurelia did do everything they could to make them feel loved, and they are extremely proud of them - and very worried when they heard about their adventures. Quintus and Aurelia has met Emmrich, and they liked him very much. They think he is a wonderful partner to their child.

🔶️ Esha has a mother - her father is just father in the sense that he shares her DNA. She hasn't seen her mother in years, and to be fair, she isn't sure if she's alive anymore. After getting saved from the sinking galley she was a slave on, it took years before she felt ready to set foot in Tevinter again. But she knew her mother loved her, and she did love her back - and she suspects that she would be proud of the life she had made for herself. She is going to try and find her after the fight with the Evanuris, because she does want her to meet Emmrich - because it would mean much to her.

🔶️ Natalis has a mother, but he hasn't seen her since he was 7. Instead, Viago became a brotherly figure to him - as much as a Crow can be brotherly. And he also had Varric, whom he came to care deeply about. So the revelations of the Fade prison broke him in a way he didn't know was possible. But he knows that both Viago and Varric are proud of him, even if the former might have trouble expressing it sometimes. And as for Lucanis? Viago has indeed met him, even though he would prefer that Natalis dated anyone but the First Talon.

🔶️ Felassan grew up in a big family, and most of them joined the Veil Jumpers just like him. So he had constant contact with them up until he was sent away with Varric. But he knows they're proud of him - his sisters told him as much when he got in contact again. Davrin has met them several times, mostly without knowing - but as Felassan finally introduced them, Davrin found a third found family.

🔸️Taleasin isn't as easily angered as he's easily irritated. It takes a lot for them to get angry, but once they do get angry - all hell breaks loose. Plates have been known to be sacrificed during those events, as have a couple of slavers.

🔸️Esha rarely gets angry. She gets easily annoyed, but often opt to combat it with sly wit. If you have gotten on her bad side, she'll kill you with kindness and you won't be aware of it for up 7-10 business days.

🔸️Felassan has a short fuse and can get angry easily, even if he often masks it with humor or dry sarcasm. That's why most people doesn't realize they've pissed him off until he's throwing fireballs at them.

🔸️Tannivh is, in a lot of ways, on a different level than the others. He has lived long enough to realize anger never amounts to anything, and that it wounds more than whatever made you angry in the first place. But on those rare occasions that the scale does tip over? Better hope you can run, 'Cause he will bury you. Literally.

🔸️Yaryna is cool headed, calm and very emotionally mature. She doesn't really get angry, most often she'll just shrug and walk the other way. But there has been instances in her youth where cooler heads didn't prevail, and she has singed the hairs on at least a couple of bullies.

🔸️Family is important to Taleasin, and before the game (and after) they always had family dinners together every Saturday. After the defeat of the Evanuris, Emmrich becomes part of these dinners and they sometimes hosts as well - wanting to show off their new home in Nevarra.

🔸️Being a Crow, Natalis has very set routines for the maintenance of his weapons. He also meditates quite a lot, both to maintain a proper mana flow, but also the steady his breathing and other aspects that's important for his work.

🔸️There's clearing in Arlathan Forest with a small lake that Felassan loves to visit. He found it as a child when exploring after his Clan set camp. When life feels a bit overwhelming, he often travels back there to find some peace.

🔸️ Esha has two very close friends in the Lords, a pair of Qunari siblings, that she often spend time with. She also spend a lot of time with her son, Rafe, between treasure hunts and the siblings are the ones looking after Rafe when Esha's off fighting the Evanuris.

A little bonus for my original characters:

🔸️ There's a café in Ventus that Alexius likes to visit. It's much due to sentimentality as he used to visit it in his youth with the man he thought he would marry.

🔸️Silia loves to cook and loves to spoil the people that she loves. She loves to try recipes from different countries and has made the Nevarran hazelnut torte at least twice.
