𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚
𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠
The mount of Rhaena Targaryen, the daughter of Daemon Targaryen and Laena Velaryon, as well as the younger twin sister to Baela Targaryen (who had lived with their grandmother as her ward until the death of King Viserys). The two were an inseparable pair. Much like each other, they brought a lot of happiness to King’s Landing after the Dance of the Dragons had ended.
Hatched during the Dance of the Dragons, Morning was one of the eggs laid by Syrax. Too young to ride during the war, she was one of the only four dragons to survive the Dance and the only one still in control of a Targaryen.
Morning’s appearance was a pale pink with black horns, and had a structure somewhat similar to Syrax with a longer snout. Very unique and beautiful, her name is somewhat of an oxymoron. Morning, the dawn, the beginning, however, she was the last true dragon.

perhaps this is a hot take but i just don't really believe that canon actions by characters can be ooc. like the writers have decided that the character would do this so the character is doing this. it's their character and their decision to make. idk genuinely i do understand where people are coming from when they say things like this, but i think it's just so much more useful to have fun and try to break down & understand the character's canon actions instead of completely remaking them to fit whatever version we have in our heads.

Note
do bow dee and para dee have mirror versions like meta knight and dedede?
As a matter of fact, they do!
Tumblr media
Design- and personality-wise, they aren’t that different from their counterparts (other than M!Bow’s scars and affinity for Ice instead of Water), but growing up in the more hostile environments of the Mirror World - as well as hanging around with bad influences like Dameta and (Shadow) Dedede - do end up pushing some of their more negative traits to extremes. In M!Bow’s case, it is their aggression, recklessness, and tendency towards rebellion. In M!Para’s case, it is his cowardice, frailty, and tendency towards compliance.
Sketch started some time in mid-2024, updated 11/27/24, finished 11/28/24. | Kintsugi AU Masterpost

Lando did not do a single wrong thing in ESB. Sure, his actions sparked a terrible chain of events. But selling out Han to save an entire population of people? Not a wrong move. Will never, ever be a wrong move.

Knight of Swords
Aries Sun, Scorpio Moon, Gemini Rising
Son of Prince Baelon and Princess Alyssa Targaryen, as well as the younger brother to King Viserys I. Daemon was known as a hot-headed, ambitious and passionate man. A true Targaryen; he took pride in his House and what it represented.
In his youth he called himself ‘Prince of the City’ as he dwelled in Flea Bottom habitually, but the citizen’s titled him Lord Flea Bottom instead. He became associated with a prostitute called Mysaria, who had a lot of ambition as well.
However, he was known throughout the realm as ‘The Rogue Prince’ due to his inability to take orders and do as told.
Early on in Daemon’s life, he claimed the shunned dragon Caraxes, whose former rider was Aemon Targaryen, Daemon’s uncle. When he was knighted at sixteen, he was given the ancestoral sword Dark Sister, by his grandfather King Jaehaerys I.
His first marriage was to Rhea Royce, the Lady of Runestone, who had ruled House Royce. They had no children together, nor consummated their marriage and it was said that Daemon thought...ill of his first wife.
Daemon’s second marriage was to Lady Laena Velaryon, with whom he had two children; Baela and Rhaena Targaryen. They resided in Pentos for some time, until Laena went into labor and ultimately died. Choosing to go out as a true dragonrider, she commanded her dragon, the largest and oldest in all of Westeros to kill her by fire.
During Laena’s funeral, her dragon, Vhagar, was claimed by Aemond Targaryen. That same night, Daemon and Rhaenyra’s children fought with Aemond because of this, and he lost an eye.
Daemon’s third marriage was to his niece, Rhaenyra Targaryen, heir to the Iron Throne. Together they had two sons; Aegon III, Viserys II and a stillborn daughter named Visenya.
He backed Rhaenyra’s claim to the throne against her half-brother Aegon II.

come over here and profound for me
-is officially completed!
Did you wish the show explored Pen and Colin's emotions in more depth? That Penelope and Eloise's friendship fallout was more tense- and the reconciliation more meaningful? That Polin's romance was a focal point that burned slowly as they fell deeper and deeper for each other? That Lady Whistledown had the narrative weight it was building toward? Were you, too, displeased with 'and then everybody clapped' endings and wanted a Polin honeymoon? Are you a fan of character growth? Accountability? Tender smut? Dorks in love? Reconciliation? Colin backstory and POV? Poetry? Love and Romance? Women treated as full people? Family feels? Angst? Polin as a team? Pen and Colin and Eloise and Marina all winning?
Come Over Here and Profound for Me! The fic one person left 75 anonymous hate comments on, and another said "I feel like I understand them in a new way, and I really wish your insight into the soul of each of them was reflected in the show. It made the reconciliations that much sweeter and the love deeper."
Snippet:
“Penelope! Pen! ” he called out, running and running, and just as she turned, he threw his arms about her. There, in full view of the ton, in bleary sunshine and in the eyes of those who were still mulling about, Lady Whistledown articles in their hands, he curled into her, breathed once more for the first time in what felt ages. “Pen.”
It took her a moment, but then she fully leaned upon him, exhaling as though she had not had the opportunity even a moment in their separation, and she melted into him. Slowly, as though to assure he was real, her hands came up to his back, gently grasping hold of him, disheveled as he was. “Colin,” she whispered, and he nuzzled his nose against her temple. “Oh, Co-”
“-lin Christopher Bridgerton!”
He nearly hissed when he felt Anthony grasping him by the collar with a yelp, scruffing him as though a stray cat and pulled him away. “In the middle of the street!? Miss Featherington, I apologize for my brother’s behavior.”
“Hey!” he protested, twisting about to see that familiar vein throbbing in his brother’s forehead.
“You’ve lost your wits! In broad daylight! Have you gone mad!?”
“Of course I have!” he yelled, just as Penelope herself proclaimed “Do not speak to him that way!” and the surprise of it left Anthony speechless. Colin’s entire body felt to bursting, all the relief, all the ache he had for her, all the tenderness intensified. “Did I not just tell you I love her? And here she is! For an entire day, I thought there was no future and now my future is before me- and you question if I have gone mad? After I watched the woman I adore be dragged off to a place I could never hope to reach her and now she has returned?”
Through the pulse pounding through his ears, drumming his body, he felt another hand upon him, a voice most dulcet sharpened. “I demand you release my intended this moment, Lord Bridgerton, or you shall see what true madness is from a woman displeased,” Penelope insisted, protective and deadly as she pulling him toward her, Anthony’s grip fully slackened, and the two of them leaning upon one another once more.

Jessica’s fate is a miniature of what's happening to all the children in this universe: victims of a previous generation’s imperial extraction while everyone assigns blame in the wrong direction. I think that’s intentional but, given that, I’m not sure what to make of how they use all those hoarded relics later in the series. Maybe I’ll have a clearer idea when I get there, although I feel like the politics get pretty muddled at the end of Ptolemy’s Gate also, so sometimes you just decide to set aside your themes for a cool set piece. I get it.
Anyway if Listener powers can overcome the language barrier I think Lucy should ask those people who they are so they can be returned. IDK how Lockwood's parents got all those artifacts, but I find it hard to believe people willingly handed over the literal souls of their relatives.
