He slammed Theo into the lockers, uncaring of the dents their bodies made and started devouring the coyote’s mouth. “Make me forget,” he whispered in Theo’s ear and the coyote did just that.

finished watching teen wolf s1 and it’s genuinely so funny how derek is characterized as this shady mean guy with no patience who will rip your throat out at the slightest inconvenience when I really do think that man displayed soooo much patience with scott (and stiles lol) it’s actually kind of hilarious. scott gets him arrested TWICE!! for murder despite derek literally trying to help him. he gets a pass for the first time but the second time he knows damn well derek didn’t do that shit but blames him anyway lmfaooo. and after both times derek shows back up and is like okay now are you going to let me make sure you DON’T die. if I was derek I would’ve beat his ass up both times and then a third time just for fun.

The only thing I will consider canon of the Teen Wolf movie is Eli. Because seeing this side of Derek WAS MY EVERYTHING. GOD TIER DYNAMIC, THANK YOU.

I will play with the chronology here but:

Just imagine Stiles Stilinski, sophomore in college still in the FBI program going on spring break with the pack. They decide to go in south California because

« It’s were celebrities and surfers and pretty girls go!! »

So they end up in Neptune!

And obviously they came across problems before Stiles arrives because chaos always follow the pack. Like… in the middle of the bombing arc in the S4 of VM but the mortals one were already at the beach when the motel exploded and line Scott, Derek and Jackson were badly hurt but obviously they survived and heal so fast. And as Stiles was trying to find a way to get his very broody boyfriend from the sherif station he met a certain Veronica Mars . She wanted to ask him question because obviously someone had hired Mars investigation to search on the mess his pack mates had put themself into. He avoided her successfully for a while and she was impress really. But at some point Derek and Logan met and they kind of bond over some fighting in a bar. Stiles was in awe when he discover what Veronica’s work was and you know… one a sherif’s kid the other one is a former sherif’s kid Stiles ended up going with Veronica and solve the case, made her open her eyes on the supernatural.

And that’s how Stiles was not sure if he wanted to be in the FBI or more a PI and have all those free will.

And obviously Logan will not die >.>

Summary:

It takes almost ten minutes for his heart to slow down again. He hasn’t had a panic attack in a good three years. The pain has dulled in the past five years but he still misses Grace, his Gracie Lou, like crazy.

Present Day:

Stiles startles awake, his grip on Olivia tightening instinctively as he reminds himself to breathe. Olivia is right here and she’s safe. He wipes his chestnut brown hair, slick with sweat, away from his face and kisses Olivia’s forehead just like he does every night before bed.

It takes almost ten minutes for his heart to slow down again. He hasn’t had a panic attack in a good three years. The pain has dulled in the past five years but he still misses Grace, his Gracie Lou, like crazy.

When 5 pm rolls around, Stiles gently rouses Olivia and has her wash up for supper while he puts together sandwiches.

She’s really tired and ends up falling asleep as soon as her head hits her pillow. Stiles stays and watches her sleep for a few minutes to remind himself that she’s okay.

The walk to his bedroom finds him much more subdued. He gets ready for bed and sits on the edge of the bed taking the picture from his nightstand into his hands. “Hey, Gracie Lou,” he whispers to the picture. It’s a picture of him and Grace the summer he opened Howlin' Heights. She was so proud of him and was the one to help him cut the ribbon on opening day. They both look so young, carefree and truly happy and they were.

Now there’s a beautiful mural, the whole pack painted in honor of Grace. One wolf for each of them. An Alpha wolf representing Stiles is in the center with a mama wolf representing Grace next to the alpha, and a little wolf cub peeking out from behind her legs, representing Olivia.

It's the first thing you see when you come to the park. Grace was a social butterfly and he knows if she were here, she would be right there to welcome people everyday, just like the mural they made to remember her by does. He shuts his eyes and sets the picture back on the nightstand.

He lays on his back on the bed, staring at the ceiling, sleep refusing to come to him but he’s okay with that. In fact, he doesn’t mind a bit as he starts humming. Unbidden a smile finds his face as he starts to softly sing.

“I used to live in the darkness

Dress in black, act so heartless

But now I see that colors are everything

Got kaleidoscopes in my hairdo

Got back the stars in my eyes, too

His smile grows and he closes his eyes hearing Grace’s voice in his head.

He feels the bed dip as Olivia climbs up onto it and automatically lifts the covers, letting her curl up against his side. “You’re singing Rainbow aren’t you, Daddy?”

Stiles tucks the covers around them and nods. “Mhm. Do you want me to keep singing?”

“Yes, please.”

Stiles gently brushes blonde curls out of her face and continues to sing softly.

After all of the times he had survived being in danger from or because of supernatural creatures, what actually killed the boy who ran with wolves was a common deer.

Stiles is gone. Derek just tries to survive. Peter takes a more active approach.

I'm very bitter about how Allison got away with attacking innocents just because they have fur, fangs and claws. Like yeah Derek caused her racist mother to commit suicide but that's not their fault. Does anyone know of any fics where she doesn't just get away with it? I need more fics where she gets called out for her psycho bitch behavior.

Stiles doubles back to the Argent’s house to free Erica and Boyd before making it back home. In which Stiles, not forgetting all about Erica and Boyd very much remaining in the basement saves them, Derek and Peter killing Jackson does make him go through the process of rebirth but he is brought back human and not a werewolf. Allison and her family go through the very legal repercussions of abducting three teenagers and Scott and Stiles friendship is put on hold because of that. Derek’s still the alpha.

Because I’ll never write this I thought i’d just dump the idea here. Tw: Postpartum depression?  Accidentally hurting a baby (it’s a werewolf baby he’s fine) Calling a man Mom (It’s weird but I think Eli would be stupid enough to do it)

So everyone’s hc-ing that Eli is a Stereks love child but like...what if actually. Just not in the fluffy way. More in the horror, immaculate conception (maybe mpreggy) kind of way. So for all that Stiles can put up with this kind of crosses the line.

Maybe he tries to make it work. But maybe trying isn’t enough. At first everyone thinks it’s just some kind of ‘postpartum’ thing. Stiles spacing out. Forgetting Eli exists. Then maybe he drops him, or hallucinates something and suddenly Stiles just can’t handle it anymore. He refuses to go to Eichen House so he just...leaves. Maybe he visits every couple years. Gives Eli a birthday present and too much hope. He never stays for more than a day.

Then Derek is dead, and there’s this fifteen year old werewolf at his door all angry and desperate. Just repeating the words with this devastated look on his face. “You're my Mom.”

He’s more like the hollow husk that carried him, but Stiles supposes that words close enough.

i am. still just so glad i got out of teen wolf when the cast started falling apart. like season three was such a shitshow from day one and made me INSANE as it was airing and i just could not continue to watch for season four after they killed off or wrote off essentially half the cast and killed all the found family potential and i will admit!!! that seeing crystal reed herself on a new teen wolf story DID tempt me!!!! i am only human!!!! i am not immune to allison argent!!!! but truly i know myself and i know that the show died a horrible death for me over the course of s3 and there’s a lot of good reasons i stopped watching it and those reasons will sustain me through my decision to not watch this new movie

all that said. @ my loyal six followers. please do not be alarmed if i end up temporarily in a teen wolf revival moment. i am not immune to allison argent and the nostalgia of it all DOES make me want to go back and reread all the old classic pack fics from before davis decided to start killing kids left and right !!! i am not immune to the powerful energy of sterek writers, nor to the call of pack-fics!!!!
