So during my usual degenerate hour, one of the doujin out there is Tadano Hitohito x Komi Masayoshi (Komi's Dad). At first, i was taken aback.. Like why?? dismissed it A couple days later I found a video reading Komi-san's chapter about Tadano having an accidental Aquarium date with Komi's dad. Chapter 317: Welcome to Cairo

Stephanie and Theresa were surprised to find a car waiting for them when they stepped off the royal jet.

“Your highness?” a man said, stepping forward. “Mrs. Vanderhall?”

“Yes,” Stephanie replied. “And you are?”

“Faisal Hassan, ma’am,” the man said, “Deputy Secretary of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry. Your father requested assistance from us during your stay in our country.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Hassan,” Stephanie said.

Hassan turned as another man stepped forward.

“Oh, and this is Inspector Valsan of the Egyptian State Police,” he said, as the other man gave a nod.

“Have you made any progress in the search for my mother?” Theresa asked.

“I’m afraid not, Countess,” the inspector replied. “But we should be prepared to provide a briefing first thing in the morning.”

“Why not tonight?” Theresa asked.

“Come on, Ter – it’s very late,” Stephanie said, before Hassan could respond. “Let’s get to our hotel and settle in for the night. I think we’ll all think more clearly after a good night’s sleep.”

“Please, ma’am,” Hassan said. “It’s very likely we’ll have more information to share in the morning, so it’s in your best interest to wait for now. I promise to collect you as early as possible tomorrow, and I’ll be at your disposal throughout your stay.”

Theresa sighed.

“Very well, then,” she said, crestfallen.

“I promise we’ll find your mother, ma’am,” Inspector Valsan said, sympathetically. “Please don’t worry.”

“Easier said than done,” Theresa replied.

Stephanie gently laid a hand on her best friend’s shoulder.

“I know, Ter,” she said. “But I promise I won’t leave your side until we find her.”

“Thanks, Steph,” Theresa said. “I don’t know if I could do this without you.”

Kayden-Kartein dynamic & How They Protect + Bicker

In the 3rd panel, I’ve notice Kartein’s visible worries when he inquired about Kayden’s whereabouts, stating: “Kayden?” after the impact during the fight. I find this really endearing, even when they bicker and banter about not being “friends” they constantly protect eachother, Kayden confirms it with Jiyoung, when Kartein was healing Jiwoo after his core shattered, and Subin’s Grandpa, when Kartein healed him because of Kayden’s foolishnesses.

Kartein mentions Kayden as a “Crazed Fighter” like how he mentions Kayden’s disciple, Jiwoo. Kartein is basically saying, “like father like son.” which is true, however, when you look at it you can see he’s worried and fear Kayden will truly get hurt, that’s he’s being too reckless because he got fully recovered.

Although they won’t admit it, they both enjoy eachother company, they are quite fond of eachother bur still continue to bicker LMFAO. They compliment eachother very well, Kartein famed for being #1 healer, and the other is an infamous strong fighter. I enjoy how in any english translation of them, it’s clear Kartein somewhat waited for him to save him, and Kayden replies with a “it’s not like you were…” however, Kartein was doing exactly it. Kayden and Kartein both feel very upset when Asta attempts to cage Kartein, using him as a way to get stronger. Kayden and Kartein expresses anger and disgust for his arrogance he’s “just like the others”.

In many #kartein posts, there are many mentions of Kayden with him. They share a brain cell, with Kayden’s clear foolish intentions striking the sharp elegant Kartein is mad funny.

you stared at the texts with jake for the nth time that day. you had spent the last 9 hours in the studio working on songs and writing lyrics but nothing was working for you because your head was just somewhere else. it was with jake. 

the two of you hadn’t spoken in a week and although he occassionaly looks at your instagram stories, he hasn’t responded to any of your texts. you don’t blame him though, you shouldn’t have let heeseung into your condo that night even if you didn’t stay there. you knew it would look bad if anyone had seen and it just so happened to be seen by someone who had connections to the stupid drama account that hasn’t left you alone for the last year ever since the person behind the account started updating their followers about you and heeseung’s relationship for the first time when the two of you were spotted fighting outside out of a music festival. 

a big sigh leaves your lips as you drop your phone onto the counter of the producer booth, trying to wrap your head around what you were going to do. unsure if you wanted to focus on writing music, try to fix things with jake, or even reach out to heeseung… you had seen his tweet about taking a break for himself and although you keep telling yourself that you don’t care anymore; you genuinely wish that he was okay and going to do better for himself. 

you’ve been working on this song for the last few weeks and it just wasn’t feeling like something you wanted to write anymore. you thought about your situation and started to just write down your feelings, hoping that a miracle of some sort would find its way to you and a song would be created out of the emotions you were writing down onto the paper.
