“Lemme ask you another question, mi amigo. Do you want me to shave this off?” He began, tapping the tattoo again before slicing a short nick along the mark. He watched as blood dripped from the wound and Simon yelped. His gaze flicked from the wound to Simon’s eyes before he pressed the blade against the first knuckle of his index finger, “Or, do you want me to start taking off fingers? Piece by piece?”
Simon’s eyes widened as he strained against his bonds before Danny finally pulled the knife away.
“Do you not care? Hm? No?” he asked, ignoring the man’s muffled pleas as he shrugged, “Then I’ll choose.”
He turned his attention back to the tattoo, his gaze darting over it as his smile dropped, “I don’t like this. You know what that means where I come from?”
Danny rose to his feet as he assessed the man’s arm. For the first time in a long time, he contemplated the best way to skin a human being.
“Mi mamá, she called them cuélebre,” he said, pressing the knife against his skin, “I don’t like cuélebre. Do you know what that means?”
Danny didn’t allow Simon to answer before he swept the knife along the tattoo, lifting away a shelf of skin.
“It means, I don’t like men like you, Simon. I kill them.”

A few days ago, I texted a description of Matt Brown in Spanish, some people asked me if I can traslate it to English.
First of all I haven’t got an exellent English, so I’ll try to express my ideas the best I can.
Secondly, what I writed the other day, was an analysis about the role of Matt Brown in a fan fic I’m writing, so it isn’t 100% real every word what you read, is only an insipration.
My fan fic about Alaskan Bush People is very long (17 chapters) and is in Spanish, if you like I’ve got translated in English 5 chapters. Anyway there is the link if you want read it:  http://aylahurst.blogspot.com.es/p/alaskan-bush-people.html
So, I’m going to proceed with the analysis of Matt Brown in my fan fic Wet Land:
I REPEAT IS JUST AN INSPIRATION FOR A FANFIC, IT ISN’T REAL
ANALYSIS OF MATT BROWN CHARACTER ON WET LAND
Matthew "Matt" Jeremiah Brown was born on September 7, 1982 in Texas. He is the first-born of the marriage formed by Billy and Ami Brown, has four brothers and two sisters. Physically, and thanks to the descriptions of Ayla we know that Matt is not very tall: his hair is curly and gray, like his beard and  the line that crosses his navel. He has strong arms, wide backs and strangely small hands, with blacksmith fingers caressing like silk spinners. What most catches his attention are his eyes: concave and light blue, which shine when he speaks of what he is passionate about. We also know that his lips are always cut and his teeth are yellowish and somewhat worn. Something that Ayla also highlights is his characteristic laughter and his craze of caressing his hair when he's nervous. Another thing to keep in mind is that the hard life in the woods gives Matt an unusual physical strength, something we know when Ayla complains about scratches on her thighs, tears in her clothes or when he presses his thumbs against her forearms Not to mention its characteristic smell of wet ground, musky sweat and yellow cedar. Among his hobbies is hunting, fishing, carpentry, knife-throwing, bow and juggling. In general, Matt is an attractive person, as Ayla expresses on several occasions, or Bear when in [Alfie ch. XIII] says that "Matt can sit on a bench, wait ten minutes and have three lovely girls sitting next to him." Throughout the novel, several names of girl are mentioned: Gina, Helen, although the most important for him has been without a doubt Allison. As for his character and his personality, we have two completely different facets: the first is the affectionate and joking Matt, smiling and optimistic he shows when he is in front of his brothers. And the other face: insecure and tormented by his past which only Ayla has been able to discover. On the cheeky side: Matt is an extrovert and sympathetic young man, given to the displays of affection in public, without fear to shout "I love you" to the four winds. On the other hand, during the first chapters, Ami reveals to the foreigner, that Matt suffers problems with the alcohol and that helps to surpass thanks to Ayla, of there is probable that irrational fear to lose her, that goes away from his side and return to being alone and lost. For Matt, she represents "the security and stability I was transmitting to you each morning: when you stood beside me and every night when you went to bed next to me" (Ayla, the ridiculous blue dress), terror taking into account the antecedents of Ayla, causes that Matt wants to hold so much against him that even arrives to hurt her, as well see in "The Pack" and in "50 shades of Matt".
If we get more into the relationship with Ayla, from the minute one both have been attracted to each other: at first getting carried away by passion and later by a loving relationship, (as forget the romantic dance of ch. IX) tender and stable that even leads them to talk about forming a family. Without a doubt, for both, sex is one of the pillars of their relationship, almost becoming an obsession that leads them to look for the strangest places in the forest to be together. This brutal physical attraction brings them  a confusion about is their adventure is purely physical or has something deeper. Before meeting Ayla, Matt was in love with Allison, a journalist who chose Bam above him and that leads him to abuse alcohol to overcome it. The appearance of an ex-boyfriend of Ayla, takes Matt to think in Allison again, arriving at the conclusion of not being in love with Ayla, but seeing in her a friend, a surrogate to surpass it. In fact, we still don’t know why Matt came to that conclusion and decided to take Ayla away from his life, because as Bam concludes in "Anne-Lisset" (Chapter XIV), Matt loves Ayla, but fear of lose it and what that would entail for him pushes her away.
Another issue to highlight is Matt's relationship with his siblings: he seems to have a special complicity with Gabe above the rest of the boys, and seems quite protective of his sisters. Noah thinks he's an jelly-head, and from the circumstances it seems that the relationship with Bear is rather cold. With his parents: Ami adores him madly while Matt feels deep admiration for his father. Thanks to "The Pack" (Chapter VI), we know more deeply about Matt's relationship with Bam: at first glance, he doesn’t seem to hold a grudge against Allison, despite having broken "Brown's unwritten rule" However, it seems another of Matt's fears is that Bam takes his place in "the pack", leaving him as an old crippled wolf, taking over the leadership and taking Ayla away from him.
In Ayla's novel, Matt inspires the character of Deer's Heart, called to be the future leader of his clan. Expert hunter and with a rebellious youth behind his back, he is confronted by his brother to prove who is the most qualified to be the successor of his father. The mark of his family, are three fingers of blood on the left cheek.
To finish, I attach the links of the chapters where I think we can know Matt better:

Lee Radziwill, society grande dame and sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, dies at 85 - The Washington Post
Tumblr media
By John Otis
February 16 at 3:39 PM
Lee Radziwill, who parlayed her cachet as the younger sister of former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis into a varied career as a fashion tastemaker, interior decorator, actress, princess and grande dame of cafe society on two continents, died Feb. 15 in New York. She was 85.
The death was confirmed by Cornelia Guest, a close friend. No other details were available.
Brought up amid great wealth in the Bouvier and Auchincloss families, Ms. Radziwill was raised with her sister in mansions along the East Coast.
She famously floundered as an actress and obtained the empty title of princess only after exchanging vows with an exiled Polish nobleman, her second of three husbands. But her adventurous spirit, sophisticated looks, husky voice and glamorous association with the Kennedy White House put her on magazine covers and on televisions while opening doors to royal palaces, gala soirees, torrid romances and touchstone events of the 1960s and ’70s.
Her most enduring influence was as a queen of style. Even before her sister married John F. Kennedy and became first lady in 1961, the fashion press began taking note of Ms. Radziwill’s chic looks that often featured clean lines, oversize sunglasses and free-flowing hair. Vogue magazine credited her with helping U.S. fashion transition from the stodgy elegance of the 1950s to a more relaxed and confident style.
She worked as an assistant to longtime Harper’s Bazaar editor Diana Vreeland, ran the American fashion pavilion at the 1958 World’s Fair and inspired designers such as Yves Saint Laurent and Marc Jacobs. After seeing a photograph of Ms. Radziwill walking her dog in the 1960s, designer Michael Kors dubbed a throwback collection, that included balmacaan coats and stovepipe velvet slacks, “the Lee Radziwill look.”

The writer Truman Capote said she outshined her more-famous sister. “She’s all the things people give Jackie credit for,” he told People magazine in 1976. “All the looks, style, taste — Jackie never had them at all, and yet it was Lee who lived in the shadow.”
Gossip columnists and books, including Diana DuBois’s 1995 unauthorized biography “In Her Sister’s Shadow: An Intimate Biography of Lee Radziwill,” insisted she was forever jealous of her internationally revered sibling. DuBois even said that Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, who married Jacqueline after her first husband was assassinated, was originally Ms. Radziwill’s conquest until the day in 1963 when she invited her sister along to sail on his yacht.
Onassis “was dynamic, irrational, cruel I suppose, but fascinating,” she told the New York Times in 2013. “He also had the most beautiful skin, and smelled wonderful. Naturally, I mean. Fascinating . . . as my sister discovered!” Ms. Radziwill always denied a rivalry.
During the Kennedy administration, the two sisters were confidants and traveling companions. They dined at Buckingham Palace and toured India, riding elephants and hobnobbing with Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Ms. Radziwill spent much of the Cuban missile crisis holed up in the White House with Jacqueline and watching the president exchange tense phone calls with aides.
“I can’t deny those few years were glamorous, being on the presidential yacht for the America’s Cup races, the parties with the White House en fête. It was so ravishing,” she told the Times.

By the time Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963, she was an A-list socialite in her own right and often called “Princess Radziwill” thanks to her marriage in 1959 to Prince Stanislas Albert “Stash” Radziwill, who had fled Poland after World War II to become a London real estate developer.
She danced at Capote’s legendary Black and White masquerade ball in 1966, sometimes called “the party of the century,” and joined other celebrity hangers-on during the Rolling Stones’s infamously debauched 1972 U.S. tour. Lead guitarist Keith Richards, who was unimpressed, dubbed her: “Princess Radish.”
Always restless, Ms. Radziwill, as People magazine put it, tried “on careers like so many Halstons.” With Capote providing acting tips and Saint Laurent a rack of dresses, Ms. Radziwill debuted in a 1967 Chicago stage production of “The Philadelphia Story.” She played snooty socialite Tracy Lord, the role made famous by Katharine Hepburn, but critics panned her performance as stilted. One reviewer succinctly noted, “A star is not born.”
The next year, Capote adapted the Vera Caspary suspense novel “Laura” for an ABC-TV production with Ms. Radziwill in the title role. But the reviews were even more brutal, calling the actress a pale comparison to Gene Tierney in the first-rate 1944 film version.
None of this dimmed Ms. Radziwill’s allure in high society. Her pencil-thin physique, long neck and elongated mouth graced magazine covers and photographs by Richard Avedon. Another friend, Andy Warhol, captured her elegance in an orange silk-screen portrait. Her closest friend was Russian ballet superstar Rudolf Nureyev, and she was romantically linked to other dashing men of the era, including architect Richard Meier and photographer and artist Peter Beard.
In 1976, she set up an interior decorating business in New York with a contract to design suites for Americana Hotels. She also worked as an event planner and style counselor to Giorgio Armani and was a fixture on the cocktail party and fashion show circuits of London, Paris and New York. Even into her 80s Ms. Radziwill was making best-dressed lists while her expensively outfitted apartments were featured in architecture and design magazines.
“For more than a half-century, she was a central figure in the comings and goings of high society,” Vogue magazine wrote in a 2014 tribute. “A story about the frivolity of the 20th century should obligatorily dedicate at least one full chapter and numerous scattered mentions to Lee Radziwill.”
Caroline Lee Bouvier was born in New York on March 3, 1933. Her father, John “Black Jack” Bouvier III, was a wealthy stockbroker notorious for his womanizing and heavy drinking. Her mother, Janet Norton Lee, hailed from a prominent Southern family.
After divorcing, her mother was married in 1942 to Washington businessman and Standard Oil heir Hugh D. Auchincloss Jr., stepfather of the author Gore Vidal.
The Bouvier sisters, raised in large part by governesses, attended the private Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Conn. Unhappy after her parents’ divorce, the future princess said she grew so lonely that at age 11 she tried to adopt an orphan.
She claimed her parents doted on Jacqueline, who was four years older, a bookworm and a better equestrian, while Lee, who was once thrown from a horse and trampled, was afraid of the animals. “My mother endlessly told me I was too fat, that I wasn’t a patch on my sister,” she told the Times.
But like her sister, Lee was considered a classic beauty and named debutante of the year by the Hearst newspaper chain when she “came out” in 1950, the year of her Miss Porter’s graduation. She enrolled at Sarah Lawrence College north of New York City but, professing a strong dislike for academics, left after her sophomore year to study art in Italy.
She and Jacqueline spent the summer of 1951 touring Europe, a trip that they turned into a book with illustrations by her older sister called, “One Special Summer,” which was published in 1974.
Lee wrote a second memoir, in 2001, called “Happy Times,” but her glamorous life was also marred by failed relationships and personal tragedy. Her first marriage, to Michael Canfield, son of the eminent book publishing executive Cass Canfield, collapsed, in part, because of his heavy drinking and her burgeoning relationship with Stanislas Radziwill; they wed in 1959 and divorced in 1974.
Her planned wedding to San Francisco hotelier and bon vivant Newton Cope was called off at the last minute, reportedly over differences involving a prenuptial agreement.
In 1988, she married film director and choreographer Herbert Ross, later telling the Times, “He was certainly different from anybody else I’d been involved with, and the film world sounded exciting. Well, it wasn’t.” And she said he was obsessed with the design tastes of his late wife, ballerina Nora Kaye. Ms. Radziwill and Ross divorced in 2001, shortly before his death.
She had two children with Prince Radziwill. Their son, Emmy Award-winning TV news producer Anthony Radziwill, died of a rare form of cancer in 1999 just weeks after her nephew, John F. Kennedy Jr., with whom she was close, died in a plane crash. Survivors include a daughter, Anna Christina “Tina” Radziwill. Information on other survivors was not immediately available.
Forever linked to the former first lady, Ms. Radziwill once told People that she had forged her own identity.
“I’ve been far more successful than I ever imagined,” she said. “I’m nobody’s kid sister.”

(739)ACTS 12- Herod kills James [not the brother of Jesus who is one of the lead Apostles at Jerusalem] and puts Peter in jail. The church has a prayer meeting for Peter and an angel goes into the cell and wakes Peter up. He leads him outside the city and frees him. Peter thinks it’s a vision and realizes it really is happening! Note how real their visions and dreams must have been, Peter at times can not determine fact from vision! He shows up at the prayer meeting and a girl named Rhoda hears a knock at the door. She asks ‘who is it’? He says ‘It’s me, Peter!’ She can’t believe it and leaves him standing at the door! She tells the prayer group ‘it’s Peter’ they tell her ‘no way, maybe his angel?’ Funny, you can believe his angel showed up, but no way could the Lord deliver him from jail. At the end of this chapter we see the return of Paul and Barnabas after they brought the relief money to the saints at Jerusalem. It calls it ‘their ministry’. This early church did not see ‘the ministry’ as the actual business and the need to raise funds for the ‘church’. Now, it’s fine to pool your money for good cause’s with other believers. When I teach we are not ‘under the tithe’ this does not mean we shouldn’t support good ministries with 10 percent or more of our money. The point is, here we see Peter going back out to the field, Paul and Barnabas returning back from ‘the field’. Spontaneous prayer meetings. No set time or way to give offerings, just a true freedom of giving themselves away for the cause of Christ. Leadership does exist, but the normal function and flow of this church is not centered around ‘the Sunday Sabbath’ [EEK!] There is a real sense of this community of believers being led by the Spirit. It would be wrong to say ‘hey, Phillip went out on his own! He is not under the local church covering’! Or ‘now that we are back from Jerusalem, lets ask Pastor so and so [the supposed Pastor of the ‘church at Antioch’] what’s next’. There were no ‘Pastors’ in the sense of the fulltime Christian minister who oversees the ordinances on Sunday. Now, these developments will arise as the centuries progress. Many good Pastors and Priests will function this way for centuries. They will see the church ‘building’ as ‘the church’. Our Catholic brothers will begin to see ‘the altar’ as the actual place ‘in the church’ that Jesus Body is ‘re offered’ [presented] as a ‘bloodless sacrifice’ for the salvation of the world. All developments that are not seen in Acts. The point is, we limit the flow of Gods Spirit thru his people when we regress from ‘the true has now come’ [the whole reality of Jesus and the church being the real image of things. The law and it’s shadows were only an incomplete picture]. When we as believers go back to ‘the shadows’ thinking that form and ‘pictures of things’ [symbols] are the way we will touch the world, then we lose the reality of us being the actual people of God showing the world Christ thru our unselfish lives. Jesus said when the people of God love each other and lay their own desires and goals down for his Kingdom, then the world will see our actions and believe. Jesus did leave us memorials ‘do this in remembrance of me’ ‘as often as you do this you SHOW the Lords death till he come’. I do realize that the church does have an element of ‘presenting thru picture [art] the Lords death and resurrection’ [passion plays and so forth] but when we lose the real fellowship mentality of this first century church, we then lose the greatest picture of all. Being the actual functioning Body of Christ on earth. John writes ‘how can you say you love God, who you don’t see. When you can’t love your brother, who you do see?’ [1st John] the New Testament clearly shows us that the love we have in word and deed is the greatest ‘sacramental’ picture we can declare to the world. Our Catholic friends have a song ‘they will know we are Christians by our love, by our love. Yes they’ll know we are Christians by our love’. I agree.
[parts] ALEXANDRIA- EGYPT. Last night I was watching the news coverage of the demonstators in the streets of Egypt- they were protesting the government’s response [or lack] to the bombing of the church in Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt [around 4 million people live in the city]. As I watched the sad story- in my mind I recalled all the times I have run across Alexandria in my studies of history. The city was founded by Alexander the great in the 4th century b.c.e. It had the largest library of the ancient world and was Egypt’s capitol for around 900 years. When the Muslims took over in the 7th century Cairo became the new capitol [under another name at the time]. Alexandria was one of the great centers of Christian learning during the first few centuries of the 1st millennium of Christianity. I remember reading about the great church father Origen- he lived in the 3rd century and eventually would head up the school out of Alexandria- one of the first Christian schools of the day. The famous philosopher Plotinus also had a lot of influence in the city. It was sad to see the destruction on the news- so many years later. This morning I read Revelation chapter 13. The apostle John writes about the persecution of ‘the beast’ against the Christians- the apostle says he makes war against Gods people and overcomes them. We often neglect to see this aspect of scripture- I mean how many songs have you heard that say ‘the beast overcame us and killed us’. We like to sing stuff like ‘we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb’ [another verse from Revelation]. Yet the apostle foresees a time of persecution of the church that will include the deaths of many believers. Those who think the book of Revelation was written early [before a.d. 70] see Nero as the one who bares the mark of the beast- yes the popular 666 is in this chapter. Others who date the book later [around a.d. 90] see the emperor Domitian as the beast- either way John was speaking about a future ruler who would severely persecute the saints [and of course the most popular view today among evangelicals is the anti Christ is yet to come]. In verse 10 of the chapter John says those who kill with the sword, must die the same way- this is the patience of the saints. John is communicating to the 7 churches that he is writing to that they should not retaliate against their oppressors- they should patiently endure- knowing that the persecutors will eventually ‘hang themselves’ with their own rope. Of course the great empire of Rome would finally fall- and for those who see Nero as the 666 guy [my view] he eventually dies a shameful death as well [he killed himself].
As I watch the various responses from Muslims and Christians [and Jews] to these types of events- we all have a tendency to view things most favorably to our own particular viewpoint. While some Muslims are of course outraged over the church bombing- yet the Christian community is more enraged. When the recent peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians broke down- many Christians in the west couldn’t care less- many of them view the entire conflict thru the lens of end time dispensationalism [an end time view that sees Gods plan being played out by the displacement of Palestinians from the land]. I grew up in New Jersey [yes- the state of the great governor Christie!]. As a good old Italian boy- I had lots of ethnic friends- Germans, Dutch, Spanish- etc. Many of these families were immigrants to the U.S. whose families had a history of living in the country for a hundred years or more [some less]. Now- if I were to come to your neighborhood, and tell you ‘look, the governments of the world made a deal [league of nations- later called the U.N.] and you have to leave this area and another group is going to move in’ how what this make you feel? Put aside your view of the bible and how you see ‘Gods plan’ being carried out- I mean just as a human being- how would you feel? You would feel terrible- you would think ‘geez- my father and his father settled here a hundred years ago- I’m not an alien!’ Yet the Palestinians were living in their land for 2 thousand years! Okay- just see the other point of view. Some of the Palestinians are Christians [small %- 2-5]. How do you think they feel when they have been praying for justice- many lost their homes and family estates during the displacement- and then they see the parade of American Christians trod thru the land like their on some Holy Land adventure- taking the kids to Disney world type thing- and yet in the real world lives are being lost on both sides of the conflict.
Most American Christians who hold to these end time scenarios that play into the geopolitical situation on the ground- they don’t realize that many Jews- and even many in the Israeli govt. do not completely embrace their enthusiasm for Israel. The Israeli leaders also know that most of these scenarios see a bloody conflict that will take place in the Holy Land [does Armageddon ring a bell?] and that many Jews will be slain- only a small remnant will escape [does the number 144,000 ring another one?]. The Israeli security forces in the city of Jerusalem actually have a specific profile for a group/persons that they see as dangerous to the city. Do you know who these ‘dangerous persons’ are? They are the tourists that enter the city every so often- and they have this wild look in their eyes- they are there to await the return of Jesus and they believe that they will be a part of the end time army that will spill much blood and defeat the forces of the enemy- yes- these types are deemed dangerous to the Israeli’s.
Lets pray for the peace of all people- let’s do our best to reject all forms of violence as being totally unacceptable- whether it be the bombing of a church in Egypt- the destruction of the Buddha statues by the Taliban in Afghanistan [they destroyed these ancient pieces of art when they rose to power in the early years]. Even the bombing of abortion clinics- or the shooting of doctors- we need to see what the apostle John saw- those who take up the sword must in this manner be killed. I think too many of us have signed our own death warrant.
[parts] (360)I was up praying early. I was actually saying to myself ‘you can go so low in the pit to retrieve treasures, that it becomes dangerous’. I had a sense of a Hollywood schema that would have the ‘hero’ saying ‘I will go and risk my life to save the damsel [or some other corny thing]’ and the others standing by and pleading with him not to take the risk. Sort of like Peter telling Jesus ‘don’t go to the Cross’. As I was actually ‘muttering’ the words about ‘a very low pit’ I heard on the radio the days verse ‘he reached down and took me out of the most horrible pit’ it was a contemporary version from Psalms. Lets share some treasures that were just mined from a low place. On this blog I discuss a lot of controversial things. One is the end times. I don’t hold to a lot of the popular end time scenarios. For instance I recently showed you why Christ’s return will not vindicate natural Israel. The answer was Jesus could not ‘vindicate’ any system outside of the true gospel. So the ‘key’ to seeing this is actually the Cross! You will find this to be the key to everything. All truths must ‘filter’ thru the Cross. You will not rightly divide scripture until you master this. One of the controversial ideas I have espoused is Nero being the ‘beast’ of Revelation. Many evangelicals disagree. Lets open a door using the ‘key’. One of the New Testament books that Paul wrote speaks of Jesus ‘destroying the antichrist’ at his coming. With a total destruction. Some who believe Nero was the beast say this ‘coming of Jesus to destroy’ was a ‘coming’ in judgment in AD 70. They ‘spiritualize’ the 2nd coming to make it fit. The modern evangelical who holds to the Tim Lahaye stuff sees this as an excuse to prove a point. They say ‘see, if Jesus totally destroys antichrist at the 2nd coming, then obviously Nero wasn’t him!’ I do want to note that early historians will tell you that one of the ‘nick names’ for Nero was ‘the beast’. Here’s a ‘key’. In Revelation you see many things happening at different times. You also see many spiritual truths that are concurrent [remember what I showed you the other day]. There are images that show the beast and the antichrist being bound for a period of time. I also showed you on this blog that Hebrews says ‘Jesus destroyed him that had the power of death thru dieing himself’. This ‘key’ of Christ’s death teaches us that the devil is already destroyed by the Cross. It’s not ‘really’ a future event. The 2nd coming is a ‘culmination’ and ‘crowning’ of the Cross’s work. So the image in Revelation of the antichrist being ‘bound’ might very well be speaking of what happened at the Cross. In all the generations of man, since the Cross there has been more light and freedom than at any other time. The enemy, as well as the antichrist, can very well be described as ‘bound’. Now you also have images in Revelation that show this ‘binding’ as being a ‘waiting stage’ for ultimate destruction. The ‘contents’ of death and hell are finally ‘poured’ into the lake of fire. Peter in the New Testament gives images of rebellious angels being ‘held in chains’ until the final ‘destruction’. So with all this in mind, here’s a key. Nero is being ‘held’ right now, with Hitler and every other wicked despot that has ever lived. They are waiting for the 2nd coming. At the real 2nd coming [not AD 70!] he will really be ‘destroyed with total destruction by the presence of the Lord’. This my friends is the key, Jesus and his Cross.
VERSES- Acts 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. Acts 12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. Acts 12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Acts 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. Acts 12:7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. Acts 12:8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. Acts 12:9 And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. Acts 12:10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him. Acts 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. Acts 12:12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying. Acts 12:13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda. Acts 12:14 And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. Acts 12:15 And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel. Acts 12:16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished. Acts 12:17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place. Acts 12:18 Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter. Acts 12:19 And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode. Acts 12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king’s country. Acts 12:21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. Acts 12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. Acts 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. Acts 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 12:25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark. CHAPTER 02: HE CALLED ME THE SPANISH SHADOW
Live in six hours (Sunday, August 20 @ 12:00am Mountain Time)
┍━━━━━━━━━━━ ★ ━━━━━━━━━━━┑
He scoffed with a roll of his eyes, moving quickly down the dirt road before he paused; a group of men catching his eye. They didn’t pay him any attention as he moved past them but his gaze was glued to them.
Each one of the men sported a dragon tattoo curling down their forearms.
The dragon had its talons out, its claws piercing into the world.
His eyes narrowed, watching as the men ducked into a nearby bar and he held out his hand; stopping Turner in his tracks.
“Come on.”
“You got a plan?”
Danny shook his head, “If we want one, we’re gonna have to start asking questions.”
“Nicely?”
“Probably not.”
Turner chuckled, a dark look overtaking his bright eyes as he nodded before he stopped with a frown, “What about the—”
“I’ll deal with it later. We’ve got bigger things to take care of.”

ACTS 12- Herod kills James [not the brother of Jesus who is one of the lead Apostles at Jerusalem] and puts Peter in jail. Or ‘now that we are back from Jerusalem, lets ask Pastor so and so [the supposed Pastor of the ‘church at Antioch’] what's next’. I agree.

ALEXANDRIA- EGYPT. It had the largest library of the ancient world and was Egypt's capitol for around 900 years.
I grew up in New Jersey [yes- the state of the great governor Christie!J].
 [parts]
(360) I was up praying early.
    VERSES-
Acts 12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
Acts 12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
Acts 12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
Acts 12:14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
Acts 12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.
Mark 3:17

Rhymieeeeeeee, mah love 🖤 @rhymingtree
It's time to admire Danny Gonzalez, as he does the incredibly mundane task of breathing. My god, he's beautiful.
You’re a dork
Danny couldn’t shake the feeling that he’d seen those eyes somewhere else. It was the eyes he saw in the mirror at three in the morning.
We just started and I'm already getting slapped in the face by great little passages.
Honestly this one didn’t hit as hard as I was hoping it would…🤷‍♀️
It didn’t matter that he didn’t know the man’s real name or what he did. If the Commander was sending Danny after the man, he must have deserved it. Danny was only sorry he couldn’t have killed him sooner.
Reminds me of how Danny saw his missions as 'fun' when all of it began until it became so much more... he's not really taking it personal yet, it's just a job. Mostly because Weston hasn't told him that he was trafficking humans.
I like the thought of mirroring him to TWS because at the time, even if he had more freedom than WS, he was still [almost] mindlessly following Weston’s orders
He wasn't entirely paying attention when he looked into the Veles name, was he? God of treachery and cattle would have been a good clue.
See, it’s cuz Danny doesn't think of ppl like that. It didn’t cross his mind until it was too late.
“Just because she’s pretty doesn’t mean she’s good.”
See now if Danny called me pretty (even if he didn't mean it well) I'd probably melt
😐😐😐
“She’s a killer, Gonzalez,” Weston said, “That’s all we need.”
Gee thanks, old man. Glad to be of service
But goddamn that is a cold man.
I’m fighting the urge to make Weston a kinda secondary antagonist 😈
wooooh title card
wooooaaaah main theme blasting in my head ooooh title credits
I don’t know what it sounds like but i can hear it
I really love having a focus on Danny, it's great focusing on him now as the main character
Same. it’s been a lot of fun to delve into his head
Every time Daeva Khatri appears I am instantly reminded I'm not straight.
I'm a simple woman. I see a pretty person (no matter how morally reprehensible their existence is) and I melt.
You really need to stop reading this when you’re 🥵
“Just because she kicked your ass doesn’t mean you have to target her.” “Just because Dragovic has beat you at every turn doesn't mean you need to start improvising out your ass.”
I love their back and forth banter
I miss them both so much
The bar was a dusty hole in the wall. It was small and crowded. Smoke wafted up through the rafters and seeped through the holes in the metal roof. It reminded him of the only bar that had been open after a mission he’d run in Nevada. The one where he’d nursed a drink and his wounds at the same time and Weston had finally decided that they were going to have to add a medic to the team.
Oh... that's why Turner was recruited... here I thought it was because Danny discovered a new allergy and didn't have an EpiPen handy
😂😂😂
I love watching Danny work his magic on unsuspecting henchmen... it's so fun
I had a lot more planned with that scene until a did a lil more research & then I had to tone it back a bit. We’ll have to save the full ‘Danny’ magic a lil later…
I mean that in both the ways you’re thinking 😏
“War travels like pox. It’ll be here before you know it. And, I’ll be here. Waiting for it.”
That's so fucking cold. I love it.
One of my fave lines in this chapter
He snapped off his belt... oh my god
Girl, you are banned from ready Origins when you are 🥵
My mind went straight to those tiktoks of men taking off their belts with one swift motion…
I meannnn I wrote that bit for you but chillllllll
my morals have been thrown out of a window
You threw them out the window a longgggg time ago, kid
Danny hit him.
Ay. Kinky.
Stahhhhp
Oh my god he tied his hair up OH MY GOD
Pretty man with man bun 😋
He shrugged, fighting the grin that worked to his face as Simon’s muffled yells echoed through the room.
good god, the depravity... I'm loving this
I think we have issues
I need to be institutionalized.
👀👀👀👀👀
“I don’t even have to get paid for it. This part of the job, I really enjoy.”
We both need to be institutionalized this is all very concerning
I’m sure its fiiiiiiiiine
Before he knew what he was doing, Danny’s hand wrapped around Simon’s throat—Silencing him. “Mi amigo,” he crooned, glaring down at the man, “This isn’t going to go well for you.”
IT'S GOING REMARKABLY WELL FOR ME KEEP GOING
😐😐😐😐😐
“Emmenez les enfants dîner,” he said, holding his ground as the woman’s gaze fell on him, “Emmenez-les au marché pour une friandise après.”
I love him. I really love him.
Same
Aw dang. We don't get to see him butcher up the dragon tat?
That would've been fun.
I didn’t wanna go that far
But hey... I have enough Danny thots to last me a lifetime (until the next chapter) so I am grateful
You’re welcome
Italian names are so fun to me, there's somthing so sinister and yet so silly about Giovanni...
I cant wait for you to meet him
Simon may have been a pawn to Dragovic but Danny was a stone to the Commander. He was a tool to be used. But, maybe that was okay. Maybe, if he could stop men like Dragovic, it was worth it.
There's something so fascinating about how he willingly objectifies himself if he thinks it's for the greater good.
yessssssssssssssssss
IMAAAARAAAAAA
EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP THE REAL STARS OF THE SHOW HAVE ARRIVED
My girrrrrlsss are here
He froze, frantically putting his shirt back on before practically tackling Turner from his chair to see the two figures on the screen. “Look at my girls!” he exclaimed, grunting as Turner shoved him away and he grabbed another chair to pull up in front of the laptop.
oh... they're already a family... 🥺
Yesssssssssssss
tio Danny... 😭
That bit made me a lil bit emotional
now I'm realizing... besides the flashback of Nea being born, this is the first interaction between Imara and Danny that we see…
yupppppppppp
I know I already apologized for the um... sinful thoughts I couldn't help but have. But that's your fault. You wrote a beautiful man. I just get to appreciate it.
We may have to get you into a confessional, darlin’ 😏
And then you kill that beautiful man. How dare you.
I do what i want
In fact you killed him in the first chapter we ever saw him in. And then you make him take off his belt like that... good jesus darke.
You’re welcome
But no for real I'm loving the characterization of Danny. I can't wait to see more of him, and to see more of Casimiro and how they're foils of one another (foil? is that the right term?)
Yessssssssss they’re two near identical sides of the same coin
And a baby Nea cameoooo we've been blessed!!
*Nia 😌 i’m excited for her to be featured a lil more in origins
God, this was a ride. I can't wait for more. The more Origins I get the more my thoughts about Danny wander. It's not healthy anymore.
You’re a dork 😌 and i love it 🖤
