Note: Don't think I told you this, but I changed his name to Evan so people stop getting confused lol. This was fun to make, feel free to send me writing ideas for the two.

♤ Anni and Evan are both insomniac messes tbh. Their eyes are both sunken, while they tiredly try to complete missions. They absolutely struggle from the lack of sleep. 

♤ The funny thing about it is, Anni is always scolding him for not getting enough sleep- even if she got like eight minutes of sleep.

♤ They definitely chug coffee and probably have broken the coffee machine at this point. Caffeine is a number one priority, their mission is the second.

♤ They get along well because of how similar their personalities are, they're both just done with everyone's weird ass bullshit and watch drama unfold. 

♤ They definitely have similar taste in music, and just blast it in the car. They hog the aux and Varrick probably gets annoyed, because it's just constant loop of, "Okay just let me play this one last song–"

♤ Evan records videos of people while they're drunk, and sends the to Anni so she can have blackmail on people. This is definitely canon.

♤ Both of them are usually the mature and level-headed ones, but at times, Anni gets mischievous and Evan DEFINITELY joins in. They secretly instigate a lot of fights and it's so funny because nobody blames them.

♤ Anni is probably the only one that Evan listens to music with, because she isn't loud or constantly trying to change the song. They just vibe really well together.

♤ Since Evan still lives in the human world, he usually updates Anni on all the major things that happen and even drives her to new places she's never got the chance to see.

♤ He lost a bet with her once, and it resulted in him having to get a new tattoo of HER choice. He was not happy at first, but he became amused when he saw what she chose.

♤ Has gotten Cassie her own pair of cute, pink, Hello Kitty headphones and Anni was very pleased. 

♤ Evan has a little sister that favors Anni more than him, he's gotten very salty about that. But ultimately, finds it very amusing. 

♤ Anni is probably the only one who laughs at his shitty ass jokes. Whenever he awkwardly cracks one, she will be the only one laughing while everyone else is groaning and rolling their eyes at him. 

♤ Tbh, they probably toss dad jokes at each other and everyone hates them for it. "Can you guys just SHUT UP!?"

♤ They challenged to see who could chug more whiskey in one go, and Anni ended up winning. Evan blacked out and she had to drunkenly drag him home.

♤ They accidentally blew up the kitchen once and blamed it on Jeff. They got away with it because they're seen as the "level-headed" ones.

♤ They fall asleep while listening to music sometimes, and the speaker is just blasting while they're both knocked out on the ground.

♤ They're actually a really good pair when it comes to missions. Evan doesn't exactly work for anyone, he does an odd job here and there, but that's about it. But occasionally, he'll help out on missions if it's requested and they're a really good team. (Whose surprised tho? They're very similar.)

Cuddle up next to the fireplace and play music during winter (and you're no longer vampires so you suddenly feel cold), clean the manor and plant a garden in the spring, manage the garden and paint during summer, rake leaves and harvest during fall

Throw snowballs at each other in winter, throw mud at each other during spring, throw water balloons at each other and draw obscenities on the other with sunscreen when they don't notice in the summer, fool around in leaf piles during fall

Who wakes up and falls asleep first?

Sleeping's tough for both because vampirism (even after they're cured, it lingers), it varies heavily

Kitty was a criminal who worked the night shift, she slept late

Max is a Sims 4 premade, he's existed since the beginning. Kitty was born as heir no. 13 in the game.

How long have you been playing with them (or making edits with, etc.)

I added Blaidd to the Frost family tree on 29.3.2022, so he was born around that time, maybe even on that day. I added Samrad to the family tree on the 30th though and I kinda doubt I played through Blaidd's entire childhood in one day. I might have though, I speedran that shit. The last time I edited them both was on 12.4. so I guess they died around that time.

Kitty was added on 26.11.2021, last time edited on 10.1.2022, I guess that was her life

How long have they known each other?

Maybe around 35-40 years old, but given that they were vampires their aging halted at maybe 20? Not in a hurry. Blaidd spent some 15 years just sitting in the empty manor playing the piano and sometimes snacking on his friends with permission

Gracious winners and losers, work extremely well together when in the same team.

No... But I'll go more depth and ramble if you'd like me to privately... But for now, let's say the meaning is special to me. My favorite line, the second line of the chorus, "give me what you are"

Made me think of you. The whole song is in my interpretation about wanting to and seeing another wholly for who they are, every crevice and all, good and bad, as well as experiencing things they've yet to experience... and for some reason, I came to think of you. Whether it's because I feel you're willing to learn and know me that well, or whether I want to learn and know you that well doesn't matter, I just know it's encapsulating whatever I feel around you. The first line "give me your heart, your hand and the rest" makes me think of a silly scene at the finale of a slice of life romance movie; you and I running in some lavander field while we take each other's hands with some newfound child-like determination to go explore and experience anything that crosses the plane we travel. Its cheesy but kinda cute? Bonus? Make it a little kitty and a dog being confused as hell as they run into this beautiful field ready to take on the vast world, it's unknown horrors and beauties~!

Fun fact about me as promised is that I enjoy romanticizing or dramatacising things. Mainly where it's appropriate to do such and in doses... But I think life is to be lived as if it's art and even if it isn't... Why would I not take up a harmless challenge to experience everything to the fullest as if I am the yn character. I’m a sucker for all things love and romance no matter if it’s grand gestures or small details, even down to the cheesiest or most cliche things. I believe in things like fate and destiny and soulmates because I feel like love is simply beautiful enough to make all those make sense. Nope. He would encourage them to admit their guilt. He's the biggest law-follower among the Legendaries. If the serson in qiestion is someone he cares about, he will try to convince them to admitting. If not, he'll probably be the one turning them over.

Faren believes in ghosts and insists on trying to summon one at every sleepover.

I mean, spirits are a common knowledge among the people of Eight Alters. So she does believe in them. I'm not sure if she tries to summon them at sleepovers though. She'd probably be up for that and thinks it'd be fun.

100%. He had to watch the movie after Miracate told him for the hundredth time (and joking that he might as well be Tom from the movie in the future :D). He did have a good time with his friend group while watching though.

Took a year for his family to convince him to go to NRC as he didn't want to but is the only one in the family to have a knack for magic. He was always embarrassed by the fact he could use magic since he more of a physical boi.

Everyone back home is so used to him they don't even  acknowledge the fact he has a bull lower half body & legs. People who aren't are so curious and ask him all sorts of questions.

He doesn't know if it is a joke or people are serious but he gets asked a lot if he is "Milkable" cause they think he is a cow even when his large horns are right in their sights and his big manly chest is out. He gets so competitive when it comes to strength or endurance. He is very fast for his size and can break boulders bare handed. He was asked a few times to transfer to Savanaclaw but he just is not a day person too much anymore he prefers nighttime and early mornings.

He admires Damián and his cat love so much since he can always have kitties around him as he works on classwork or just wants to vibe outside. He loves the cats so much since he loves animals.

He is a bit awkward at the dorm parties since he is not used to them and being a big weird legged boy but is opening up more at them each time he sees Damián just out there with everyone like nothing different.

Since he was feeling homesick a lot Damián went looking for a way to fix that and was told by Idia that maybe gaming could help since there's games where you're a farmer. Damián didn't quite understand but bought Ignacio one of these games and now he is so addicted to these games in his spare time. He often asks Damián to come see his farms or help him name newborn animals in the game.

Ignacio's hardworking parents. They've been working for numerous farms & ranches across the Shaftlands as they love outdoor jobs and met at a farm. Ignacio's mother shares his animal lower half thing with her having cow lower half & legs(no udders). They had him way into their mature age as they were too focused with working in their youth.

They come from two different cultures and had made it a tradition to teach Ignacio about both with books,going to events in home regions,letting him eat different foods from both,and teach him their native languages while raising him. Once he hit teenhood they told him he could now choose to like whatever he wanted from any modern stuff,etc just to remember he is special and loved. It helped shape the young man you see today.

His parents nowadays are just so sweet and are soon retiring from work. He would describe them at home as being traditional as their home has alot of the culture combination reflection and usually their conversations with each other or friends are about old days. Ignacio's room probably only place in house with modern things from outside what they have since they told him he could have that but keep it in his room.

He loves them so much and knows they are very chill to modern things like when they go out and stuff. He kinda wishes to talk to them about his orientation as he always got advice on things from them yet he is being the typical teen too afraid to ask. His mother has once mentioned randomly that instead of grandkids he can adopt cows. Maybe she knows? He unsure.

Thanks for the questions; did my best to answer them below.

I would say my favorite thing about Ben is his wit. I love snark and sarcasm, especially when paired with intelligence, which our Ben has in spades. When you add to that the fact that Ben is genuinely a kind and faithful person (even though no one on the show has once returned that friendship to him in kind), I just love him to bits.

Favorite NHIE scenes? How long do you have? My fav is probably the exchange with Howard in 3x6 but since that gets mentioned so often I'll add a few less noted examples. I love in 1x10 when he tells Fab and Eleanor that friends don't take breaks. Its not like its the most well acted of his scenes or anything but I think it says a lot about who Ben is as a person (I also hate Fabiola- I find her boring and judgmental- so I like Ben putting her in her place). Another favorite is Ben and the pear. Jaren does such a great job of showing Ben's transition from 'this is stupid'' to 'I see why this matters' and its done in such a convincing and understated way. Also love Ben telling Devi they're not even; again we get a lot of insight into Ben and where his head and heart are at with limited screen time. And Trent walking down the hallway to ravage Eleanor-comedy gold.

I haven't seen many interviews, but I am very impressed by the one's I have seen. I love to hear actors talk about their craft and you can tell that he is truly an actor who puts care and thought into his performances. He would definitely excel in future projects and I hope we get an opportunity to see him take on new and more challenging roles. I know you and others have talked about his fearlessness and vulnerability as an actor and you can definitely see that that approach is indeed intentional in his interviews.

I love fanfic! I am new to the NHIE fic fandom but I have read a few works I've enjoyed recently. Your recent A Ghost in the Back of the Room is an instant classic of course! I love fics solely focused on Ben and they are few and far between as I know you realize. I've read others I've enjoyed but I honestly can't remember them right now. I typically don't like things too sappy or out of character so anytime an author gets the voices right I'm usually along for whatever ride they want to take me on. I'm also trying not to read too much because I can easily lose myself in it all day and forget to live my actual real life, lol.

I very much doubt this is a musical list that is likely to inspire anyone but I have an old fashion (and probably bad) taste in music so here you go. Simon and Garfield : I am a Rock (obviously...just listen to those lyrics!) The Police: So Lonely (are you sensing a theme? Perfect for 'The Loneliest Boy in the World' and I feel like the manic energy of The Police is perfect for Ben), And of course Johnny Cash: A Boy Named Sue (while I doubt Ben and Howard will come to fisticuffs, its a song about troubled relationships with fathers and how our struggles make our character which feels pretty spot on for Ben)

For the adoption AU Marinette, since Marinette is talented in almost all (if not all) area of design, does/is anyone from Kitty Section brave enough to ask her for a commission-something that would challenge her creative mind? And since they don't have a CD for Marinette to take home and listen to their music, do they invite her to the Liberty to get a taste of what they are? What's the relationship between Marinette and Luka if there's a chance it happens?

Rose would be the most likely to notice Marinette’s designs and would love to have Marinette design something for Kitty Section, but would be too intimidated to really approach Marinette and ask. And while Juleka is neutral on Marinette, she’s a mumbler, and Marinette Bourgeois likes to be to the point and see things move along, and wouldn’t have much patience for someone who can’t get their point across quickly. So on asking for a commission, it’d fall to Ivan, who is also neutral to Marinette and isn’t intimidated by her. And having no reason to say no, Marinette would agree, and to get a idea for what theme they want, yes, she’d come by Liberty to learn what she can about Kitty Section and hear their music so she can get an idea of what to design for them. 

Now for the Lukanette end, Lukanette in this au would be a slowburn. 

Luka, hearing that a Marinette Bourgeois, the sister of the infamous Chloe Bourgeois who likes to torment his little sister and her friends; he’s not excited to hear she’s coming. Personally, he doesn’t want a Bourgeois around at all and is quick to be on guard, he does note that the rest of Kitty Section is excited that she’s coming, so she may not be so bad, but he’s still wary. 

When she arrives, Luka can acknowledge he was bewitched. Her song was full of life and energy, it demanded to be heard, and it was a song Luka would love to listen to. But as interactions continued, he convinced himself that it was a siren call. Marinette is very stiff, no nonsense, and critical. Its like she has no concept of relax, very work driven, and doesn’t treat this commission with levity. 

Marinette in turn isn’t impressed with Luka when she first meets him. She finds that he lacks a drive, up to go with the flow and is largely inactive. A Marinette raised by Audrey and is very diligent is not impressed with this passive nature. And for that first while of knowing each other, they’re content to stay out of each other’s way. 

But as Marinette works, she finds she enjoys listening to them play, they can be a little loud and all over the place at times, but its energy she can get behind. And Luka has a hard time resisting that siren’s call, and at least relaxes in the same room as her. And, he can admit, its fascinating watching her work. And Marinette is surprised that she finds Luka can be relaxing to be around. 

As an odd friendship starts to develop, they bring out a side both need. Marinette learns to slow down a little and relax, Luka learns to be more focused and active, really start to think what he wants to do and what he wants to aim for. The truly bond when anything Chloe is brought up, having a mutual dislike for her and if Chloe picks a fight with either, they’re ready to back each other up. 

Lukanette would be slower in comparison to canon in terms of falling for each other, but would still become a solid pair. Only thing that changes is that they’d need more time to connect, become fond, and interact with each other.

"I've got an idea." She states as she makes her way past a groggy Ashley.

"You know, we'll have nine musicians with us tonight. Besides the drums, I play bass and rhythm guitar... So, between all of us, if we pick the right songs the odds are that one of us will know how to play it." She says.

"You offerin' to get OnStage with us tonight?" Colson teases her.

Sam shrugs out an I'm Just Sayen' before Colson agrees It's A Good Idea and Theory. The group of them sitting together, trying to work out the flow of different songs.

"I shoved it up there last week because of Case.... How awesome would that've been if she'd opened it?" Luna shrugs as she shakes her head at herself. "Total fucking win....." Sighing as she rolls her eyes and continues on. "Anyway... So, THIS is what I'm thinking.... Hold on, gimme a sec."

Firing up a joint, Luna hands it to AJ before lighting another and sending it across to Sam on the other couch. Left and Right. Sparking another for herself to camp on for a moment, she explains exactly What She Wants To Do and Why.

Everyone agreeing that It's A MUCH More Plausible Idea. Fully burnt they head off of The Bus towards the nightclub to rehearse. If it plays out as expected it'll be a fun and sweet tribute. Colson drops his arm around Sam's shoulder and plops a kiss on top of her head as they head across the parking lot. She looks up at him like What The Fuck Are You Doin'.

"Thanks for taking care of those sheets yesterday." He says looking down at her with a smile.

"OH. You're welcome." She answers as his arm slips off of her.

Heading to catch up with Luna, Colson turns to shoot Sam another grateful smile. It's a nice scene, considering Sam really didn't care for Colson or think he was good enough for Luna when she first met him. Her opinion slowly changing.

Death Note: Mello (Mihael Keehl)

Mello games and you play Sims 4 so sitting next to each other on your individual consoles would be how the two of you spend lazy days and quiet evenings together. You have a varied taste in music which is actually quite dark (Lana Del Ray) and inspiring/iconic (Lady Gaga) whereas Mello just likes heavy music which, when played at peak volume, thrums through your rib cage and echoes in your heartbeat. Between Mello’s explosive temper and your depression and anxiety, things can be tense. He snaps at you sometimes without thinking and you may retreat from him all together as a result. Show him your latest memes, though, and he’ll huff a reluctant laugh through his nose, breaking the ice. He’s not big on apologies even when he’s wrong but even so he’ll silently apologise in only one way: he’ll give (not just share) you one of his most expensive, preferred chocolate bars. Overall, he’d be one of your biggest comforts and vice versa. Just knowing that he’s watching the CCTV live of you walking down a dark or isolated street to make sure that you get home okay makes you feel a little warmer. Even when he’s pissed as hell at you or something else, he won’t let you go to bed feeling alone in a bad way. It’d be an explosive kinda love ;) [inappropriate death joke lmao not sorry]

American Horror Story (AHS): Violet Harmon

Violet would adore you. There would be some tensions because she’s quite abrasive (and rightly so, in some cases) but also because you both have depression, though you also have anxiety and you both put up fronts to hide yourselves. That’s likely how you bond - with Violet confessing to you one hot summer’s day that she “hates everything” and the whole situation with her parents. She can rant for hours when you leave her to it, just listening. Sometimes you share a part of yourself. You’re quite a talkative couple, but only in private. If there are people around, it’s obvious you’re together but there’s no set reason that they can see. Vivien and Ben have, generally, never seen their daughter so animated; you only bring good to Violet’s life. You’re both sarcastic and easily annoyed so any arguments are basically just really accurate roasting sessions until one of you hits a nerve (and then it stops because Violet just leaves to go somewhere - you never know where) or you’re both laughing. In this way, there are moments in your relationship that are hard to stomach. Watching mindless TV shows on Netflix and cuddling is a good way to break any ice that lays between you; Violet would make acerbic comments about something the lead has done and you’d listen, always able to tell if something more is under the surface. The similarities between the two of you creates your relationship; you see yourselves in each other and only want to help as best as you can.

The Vampire Diaries (TVD): Damon Salvatore 

Damon would be very protective of you. You don’t like appearing weak but even when you’re down and sobbing on your knees, your body unable to hold you up anymore, Damon’s never thought you looked stronger. It takes strength to show weakness, even when you’re alone. If you ever forgot to take your meds, Damon would stand over you in with a glass of water in one hand and your meds in the other, that passive-aggressive look on his face. He’d watch you take them, arms folded, and then he’d give you a steamy kiss that leaves your toes curling for the rest of the day. Damon pretends to have no feelings because it’s easier and you put up a front. However, because Damon can’t shut off his humanity without forgetting his love for you, so he has to face his humanity which means he begins to feel guilt and everything that’s already there if he wants to feel it, which he doesn’t but… He does eventually. Because of you. You are the good in his life.You have similar defence mechanisms so it’s not unusual for one of you to walk into a room, see the other and immediately say “stop doing that” or “don’t do that” - no one else can tell that Damon is pretending, except you and Stefan. Similarly, it’ll be the brothers who can tell that you’re pretending. The contrast of your long dark hair and your bright blue eyes would be what drew Damon to you and I feel like he’d call you his “little siren” because of that. As such, he comes to understand that it wasn’t Katherine he’s been looking for all this time…

Twilight: Edward Cullen 

You caught Edward’s attention by singing one day. He was just passing by, skipping Biology (blood work) and he heard you singing. He hadn’t meant to tune in to your radio station but sometimes he couldn’t help it. And you did have a lovely voice. He would likely buy some of the same albums that you own so that he could get to know you through music. Over time, he would learn to just intuitively tune in to your radio station and he’d hear your thoughts - this is a promise he would make to himself to not do once you’re friends and then dating and he’d definitely stick to it. He’s conveniently free on sunny days so you’d spend those days watching Netflix with a blanket around your body to protect you from his ice cold one (it’d be really hard to explain away catching a cold during a heatwave) and he’d press kisses into your hair, your kitty purring away just above your shoulders. Though Edward would do his best to not listen to your thoughts, on your worst days some of them drift through his mind and he’d take your hand tightly and say “Don’t” or “That’s not true.” He’d try so hard to help you; I think, pre-Bella, he also has depression so he’d do his best to help you because he knows what it’s like, and not just because he can hear you.

Yuri!!! On Ice: Victor Nikiforov

Victor would have such a loving relationship with you. Ohh, he’d try so hard to make you smile each and every day. When he’s not on the ice competing or eating way more food than he should be able to consume in one sitting (seriously, where does it go? Does his stomach start in his toes?), he’s curled up with you on the sofa watching something you want to watch on Netflix, Hulu or whatever else you use. He doesn’t mind what you watch, so long as you do it together. You love to shitpost and you love memes, and Victor loves taking pictures of the most obscure things so between the two of you, your followers are well fed! You’re always texting each other memes, jokes and sending pictures to each other with cryptic captions or song lyrics attached, making the other person burst out laughing in strange places like the ice rink or a classroom. You have more of a jokey relationship than a serious one, though that’s in abundance when either of you have depression or anxiety flare up. In any case, bed time is always met with gentle touches, soft smiles and careful reassurances. Even, and most especially, when you’re angry at each other. Love is never so important as it is during the bad times.

Once Upon A Time (OUAT): Regina Mills

It would be really touch and go to date Regina for a while. It would be very challenging and many people, including her and in your darkest times, yourself, would tell you that she’s not worth it. That you’re not worth it. But you’re all wrong. She is so, so worth it. Once she splits from the Evil Queen, once she grows into herself and grows into the Charming family, once she overcomes her abusive childhood and comes to love herself, she is a ray of sunshine and she glows. I’ve always loved and been so proud of Regina, and you would be too. You both put on fronts to protect yourself and you’re both very convincing so a lot of the time, the two of you have to mentally step back and see what the other is really thinking. Luckily, you know each other very well so it’s not hard to see when either of you are feeling especially insecure or unwell. Regina would literally rip her heart in half if it meant saving you, and at times she’s risked her life for you. She lives for your cuddles, especially when her many duties as a mum, a mayor etc. get on top of her and she just needs a break. You bring her back to herself time and again, and she will always do her utmost to return the favour to you. You have a strong, loving relationship underneath it all. It just takes patience and a special bond to be able to see it from the outside.

Game Of Thrones (GOT): Joffrey Baratheon

Joffrey is the most villainous person on this matchup. I was very hesitant to match you with him, I really was, but some of the others on this list are almost as bad. So. I think your personality would have a more positive effect on him. Cersei got her claws as far into him as she could, but even once she tried to reason with him and keep him reined in, he was too far gone for her to be able to help. But you... Mm. I think you’d have a similar impact on him to Margaery. You put on a front to protect yourself and this would be what Joffrey would listen to... to begin with. Once you’re properly courting and Joffrey is able to see what you don’t say; he would soften. He would still kill and be an utterly evil piece of work, but he would exercise more mercy. He would still wrongfully torment Tyrion, but he would draw a line when you start anxiously tugging on his sleeve. He doesn’t cuddle, mocking the action all together, but then one day he walks in on you curled up in bed reading a book and he just can’t resist curling around you, an arm slung over your shoulders to possessively keep you beside him. It would be a tumultuous, dangerous relationship but then... it’s Westeros, what do you expect?
