Unpopular opinion, but I kind of wish Disney would focus a little more on other characters from the classic Disney universe (Mouseverse, Duckverse, Dogverse) and not just the Sensational Six characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy) plus Chip and Dale and Pete. By this I mean Scrooge, Horace, Clarabelle, Oswald, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Gyro, Ludwig, Grandma Duck, Fethry, Gus, Gladstone, Ortensia, Mad Doctor, Beagle Boys, Magica, Glomgold, Rockerduck, Sylvester Shyster, Phantom Blot, Darkwing Duck, Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird, April, May and June, Gosalyn, Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse, Chief O'Hara, Detective Casey, Scuttle, Mortimer, Figaro the Cat, Max Goof, Neighbor Jones, Brigitta MacBridge and others characters.
By this I mean with regards to the latest Disney animation shows "A Whole New Sound", Hot Ones and these What If Marvel comics. Like you can't make superheroes and super villains out of these characters I mentioned?! Scrooge as Professor X, Glomgold as Magneto or Magica as Red Widow? It seems to me that Disney (I mean the American official one, not the European one for sure) ignores these characters and thinks they don't exist. Really disappointing in my opinion.
Feel free to reblog this and comment if you agree or disagree with this.

"I'm so happy that we found each other."
If you haven’t read WizardoftheRainbow’s weblena fic, What You'll Find In The Night, please do. This wonderful story resonated with my soul on many very personal levels, not the least of which was the astronomical aspect of it, which spurred me on to draw this post-fic picture as a tribute, which turned out to be one of my most favorite things I’ve ever drawn. Really wanted to capture the splendor and happiness of the night sky, as the stellar jewel box the fic mentions, and of the love between these two love birds.
Anyway, the fic is fantastic, it’s cozy, it’s perfect. 💜✨
P.S. If you want to also listen to a perfect weblena (and also dellumbra) song, I recommend “Satellite” by Lena (yes, that’s really the artist’s name!). I listened to it soooo many times while drawing this!
Drawing without title + alternate shadowy-title versions below the cut!

The Sikorsky S-56 (CH-37 Mojave / Deuce) was the largest and fastest military helicopter in the Western world. How much weight can it carry?
The Sikorsky S-56 (CH-37 Mojave, also known as the Deuce) was a large tandem-rotor helicopter, but not the largest or fastest military helicopter in the Western world. It was designed and built by Sikorsky Aircraft in the 1950s.
The S-56 had a maximum gross weight of 35,000 pounds (15,876 kilograms) and a payload capacity of around 10,000 pounds (4,536 kilograms). This means it could carry up to 10 people or a combination of passengers and cargo.
The S-56 was primarily used for heavy-lift transport and cargo operations, and it was popular among the US military, particularly during the Vietnam War. However, there were larger and faster helicopters developed later on, such as the CH-54 Tarhe and CH-53 Sea Stallion, which had greater payload capacities and speeds.
It's worth noting that the term "Deuce" is often associated with the UH-1 Huey helicopter, not the S-56. The UH-1 Huey was a single-rotor helicopter used extensively by the US military during the Vietnam War and was known for its reliability and versatility.

Paging Doctor Duck Ch. 4
The soft twitters of birds outside his window slowly pulled Donald from his slumber. His eyes drifted open, snapping close when the bright, morning light sent dagger-like pains into his skull. He groaned as he buried his face into his pillow in order to hide from the well-meaning sunshine.
‘Being hungover sucks.’
Daring to take a peek at his bedside alarm clock, Donald saw that it was a little after eight in the morning. He also took notice of the bottled water, aspirin, and a small note right next it. ‘Huh?’ he thought, quickly helping himself to the medicine and water before reading the note.
Hola Donal’,
We had a lot of fun with you last night and I can’t wait until we do it again soon! Also, do not forget that the rodeo is today. Zé and I look forward to meeting your sobrinos!
See you soon,
Panchito
Right, the rodeo is today. Ugh, why did he have to make such decisions when he was drunk? ‘Oh well. At least it’s not until this afternoon,’ he thought before flopping back down in his bed. ‘Wait…how did I…get back home?’
While memories from last night were a bit spotty, he clearly remembered being too hammered to drive himself back home safely. He also remembered turning down José’s offer to spend the night at the club, the parrot having a bed in his dressing room in case he was ever too partied out to make it home. Donald also recalled declining the offer because no amount of liquor was going to make him trust those bedsheets.
That meant that Panchito “good genes” González must’ve gotten him home. Pushing past the pounding in his head, he somewhat remembered the familiar neighing of Señor Martinez, a drunken farewell from José, a long and bumpy ride somewhere, and finally the gentle feeling of someone tucking him into bed and petting the top of his head.
“Dulces sueños, Donal’~~”
The doctor flushed pink. ‘Screw this. It’s much too early to be thinking about such things…’ the duck thought with a grumble, covering his head with his pillow and falling back asleep.
~*0o0*~
“Boys, stay close,” instructed Donald as he and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, made their way through the crowded area. Currently, the small duck family was at the California Rodeo Salinas to watch “World Famous Panchito” perform his rodeo tricks. Donald hadn’t really been all that keen to watch such a thing, considering how often the rooster would show up at the hospital injured after his performances, but the triplets were excited to see the spectacle, so he couldn’t really complain. He even bought them cowboy outfits for the occasion.
“’Naldo! ‘Naldo, over here!”
The uncle of three turned to see José running up to them, looking unfairly more put together than Donald felt. “Afternoon, Jo---ACK!”
“Boa tarde, my friend! I have missed you so much!” the parrot greeted, wrapping up the duck in a tight hug.
‘It hasn’t even been 24-hours yet…’ the doctor thought, feeling his ribs creak due to the strength of the hug. He awkwardly patted the parrot’s back in return before introducing him to his boys. “José, I’d like you to meet my nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Boys, say hello.”
“Hello…”
“Mr. José…”
“…It’s nice to meet you!”
“So nice to meet you boys as well! I especially like your cowboy outfits. Did your tio buy them for you?”
“He sure did…”
“…Mr. José…”
“…He’s the best Unca ever!”
The lime green parrot nodded in agreement. “Of that, I agree with you!”
“So, where are we sitting, José?” the duck asked quickly. His face was red from all praise he was receiving.
The smile on the Brazilian playbird faltered, a pout pulling at his lips. “… “José”…?” he questioned softly.
Donald blinked in surprise before more recollections from last night came to mind. His face turned an even brighter red somehow and he felt a phantom burn on his skin where Panchito and José had kissed his scarred shoulder. “…Joe…”
José brightened right back up after that before linking their arms together like they had last night. “Come, I will show you to our seats. ‘Chito is waiting for us there since his event isn’t until later. Let us go!”
“Alright, no need to pull…”
~*0o0*~
Introductions to Panchito went similarly to what it had with José, including the same back-breaking hug. He remarked positively on the children’s cowboy outfits and even gifted them with child-size lassos to go along with their color-coded clothing.
“Wow!”
“Thanks!”
“Mr. Panchito!”
“You are most very welcome, my little niños!” the Mexican said. He then turned to Donald and José. “I have a little something for you two, as well,” he announced before somehow pulling out two sombreros from underneath his own and placing them on their heads. “There we go, amigos! Now we match!”
“Obrigado, my friend!”
Donald tottered a bit, the brim of the sombrero falling over his eyes, temporarily blinding him before he could right it. “Yeah, thanks…Panch,” the duck said, trying to ignore the way Panchito’s ruby eyes lit up at his nickname.
~*0o0*~
“Whooaaaa!!” screamed a man as he tumbled end over end through the air.
*Crash*
“Oof! Do you think that guy is alright, Unca Donald?” asked Huey.
Donald was already analyzing the man’s injuries in his mind. Judging by the angle the man’s arm and leg were now in, he surmised the man most likely had broken bones, bruised ribs, and maybe even a concussion. The deep, hoof imprints on the man’s derrière, courtesy of the bull, would also make it hard for him to sit down properly in the coming days. “According to my medical expertise…no.”
“I am curious as to why people enjoy pursuing such dangerous pastimes…” José wondered as the group watched the rodeo clowns load the unconscious man onto a stretcher and carry him away.
Donald huffed. “Funny, I thought you’d appreciate a “flirting with danger” lifestyle.”
José laughed sheepishly at that.
Eventually, it was time for Panchito to take the stage.  The bull he was getting ready to ride was named Raging Storm, and it seemed to be aptly named. The beast had already sent multiple people to the hospital.
“Will Mr. Panchito be okay, Unca Donald?” Dewey asked nervously.
“…He should be fine…” the uncle tried to reassure, but even he was feeling a little anxious. While never to the terrible extent like the other competitors, Panchito would often sustain many injuries because of his profession. Donald jumped when he felt something touch the back of his hand, looking down to see José’s yellow-gloved hand on his, gently squeezing it.
“‘Chito will be okay,” the parrot said with a confident smile.
Donald returned the reassuring gesture with a smile of his own, squeezing back. “Right.”
After the announcer did the countdown, Raging Storm was released from the pen. As predicted, the bull began tearing across the arena, bucking and kicking aggressively to fling his rider off. Panchito, being the skilled rider he was, easily weathered the storm, holding on with only one hand while swinging his sombrero with the other. The crowd erupted into cheers, growing louder with each passing second counting down.
‘How is it that these last few seconds feel like an eternity?’ thought Donald as he willed time to move a little faster. He worried that he was crushing José’s hand, but the parrot was holding his just as tightly.
Three seconds…
Two seconds…
One second…
The sound of the ending buzzer filled the area and Panchito effortlessly dismounted from the bull to the roaring sounds of applause. The doctor breathed out a long sigh of relief he hadn’t been aware he was holding. Huey, Dewey, and Louie were cheering like crazy in their seats along with José. Donald tried his best to clap as well but found it difficult since José still had a grip on one of his hands.
“See? I told you he would be fine!” the Brazilian exclaimed, though he looked immensely relieved as well. “C’mon, wave to him, ‘Naldo!”
Donald did as instructed and waved at his patient/friend when he looked in their direction. The rooster’s ruby eyes lit up when he spotted the duck and parrot, blowing a kiss their way. Donald tried to blame the residual adrenaline for the way his heart skipped a beat.
~*0o0*~
“Are you holding on tight, niños?” asked Panchito as he held on to Señor Martinez’s reins.
“We are!” chorused the triplets.
“Bueno! Okay, here we go!” Panchito gently pulled the horse forward, moving at an easy pace.
“Wheeee!!” cheered the children.
Señor Martinez tossed his head back and neighed happily as he proudly carried his three passengers.
Donald watched the scene unfold with a smile, happy that his nephews were enjoying going on a horseback ride. Due to his busy and hectic work schedule, it was rare for him to be able take his kids out for a day of fun. The excitement from today also meant the boys would sleep like babies tonight, saving him from their usual bedtime wars. Currently, he sitting on the porch of Panchito’s ranch, polishing off the delicious, yet incredibly spicy meal from Panchito’s mother, Maria González. José doing the same next to him.
“Would you care for seconds, boys?” asked Maria, a plump hen with similar colors to her son. A yellow apron tied around her waist.
“No, thank you ma’am,” Donald declined. His already burning mouth wouldn’t be able to take anymore punishment. “Ah, maybe a little water, please.”
“I would like to have more of your delicious food, Mamá Maria. Por favor. And might I add that your cuisine is muito delicioso!”
The mother hen let out a giggle. “My, what a charmer! I’m so pleased that my son brought home such impeccable men! And Donal’, you raised such wonderful, well-mannered boys.”
“Hehe thank you, ma’am,”  the duck replied with a sheepish grin, rubbing the back of his head. The mother took away their plates and walked back indoors with the promise of seconds and Donald’s water.
“Of course, you’d be able to handle spicy food just fine…” Donald muttered with a little jealousy.
José chuckled. “True, but now that we have been introduced and accepted into ‘Chito’s family, you can build up your spice tolerance!”
“Yeah, I guess I…” the doctor’s words trailed off when he fully digested the Brazilian’s words. Mama Maria’s words also mixing in and created a weird jumble in his mind, his heart once again squeezing in his chest. “…Stop that…” he grumbled, both to José and his annoying heart.
“Hmm? Stop what~~?”
Donald felt his cheeks heat up as José leaned forward, a coy smile on his beak and his eyes shimmering in the sunset like the topaz his Uncle Scrooge made him polish for only a few cents an hour. “That! You know what you’re doing! Stop that!”
Before the parrot could do anything more, Donald found himself ensnared by a lasso, Panchito holding the other end with a teasing smile on his face. “And that, niños, is how you lasso someone!”
“Whoa!” exclaimed Huey.
“So cool!” cheered Dewey.
“Will you teach us how to do that one day?” asked Louie.
“Of course!”
“Will you teach me as well, ‘Chito?” questioned José as he happily took advantage of Donald’s lack of mobility, poking his stomach and pinching his reddened cheeks. “It is definitely a…useful skill~.”
“Oh, indeed I will, Zé!” a playful smile spread across Panchito’s face as he stepped closer to his two friends, his voice lowering a couple of octaves. “Es un buen aspecto para el…”
Even with his very limited Spanish, Donald understood what the rooster said. Steam was practically shooting out of his ears and his face the color of cherries. “I said to stop that!”
TO BE CONTINUED~

*Fethry and Huey enter Gyro's lab with Dugan*
Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera: Hey Huey, Hey Fethry (points to Dugan) Who is he?
Huey Duck: That's my cousin, Dugan.
Fethry Duck: And my nephew.
*Gyro sees Dugan *
Gyro Gearloose: That's a child!
Dugan Duck: And that's an ugly pimpy b**ch!
Gyro Gearloose, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, Huey Duck: 😲😨😦
Fethry Duck: *nervous smile* Children, eh?
(First shows that Dugan does not respect adults, with the exception of his father).

Rose(Ch 5)
"Third person POV"
Golden stood on the side, wearing an ear piece as he watched the performance, keeping an eye out for anyone wishing to cause trouble. He perked up when movement came from the corner of his eyes, his eyes narrowing when he noticed a hooded figure heading towards the front of the crowd. A secondary one followed behind them, black and purple locs peeking out causing him to perk up in surprise, knowing who's locs those were. "Sam..what's going on.."Golden stared wondering why they were here. The smaller figure held their hand, a small glow coming from their finger tips, his eyes widening. He tapped his ear piece when the performance came to an end a small smile on his face. "Vil! Look right in front of you!"Golden grinned. Vil turned before he left the stage, his eyes widening. The figure held their had up, yellow and light  purple butterflies fluttering onto the stage, forming into a bouquet of yellow and light purple roses, Vil catching it his eyes still on the figure before they vanished.
"Vil's third person POV"
Vil smiled as the crowd cheered, feeling Ekeko standing close to him in case he collapsed. "Thanks"Vil mutters Ekeko nodding. Ruko waved from the crowd with Amber, Sean and Pin, wide smiles on their face. Huey and Joana stared silently, looking neutral but curious as everyone cheered. Vil perked up, hearing Golden's voice in the ear piece, "Vil! Look right in front of you!" He looked down spotting two hooded figures, his eyes widened as yellow and light purple butterflies fluttered onto the stage, fluttering around him. The figure raised their head, blue eyes sparkling as they looked at him. "ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL VIL!!"Livia beamed a breeze blowing through her hair and hood. "AWESOME PERFORMANCE!" The butterflies glowed, all coming together to form a bouquet of yellow and light purple roses. He caught the flowers, his eyes still on Livia as she smiled up at him. "Livia.."Vil stared stunned she was able to make it. She laughed beaming up at him, the figure behind her lifting their left hand, the duo vanishing into thin air.

When Huey tells Victor in Vol. 14 that his second-worst memory is "being unable to save my wife's life back in my hometown," and Victor musters a "...Hey.", that's him reliving watching Lucrezia's ship explode and conducting a frantic, futile search for Lucrezia afterword. 100% that. Even if Narita hadn't planned that part of 1711 yet.
Of all the things for Victor to have in common with Huey outside of their alchemic/scholarly mindsets, Narita chooses the most emotionally charged option via "long-dead lady loves" ...who remain the dead women in Victor & Huey's interrogation room because Victor has a job to do and Huey's not about to tell Victor that Lucrezia is, in fact, not at all dead.
Every. Single. Interrogation. Huey cordially indulges Victor while sitting pretty on the knowledge that he sent Lucrezia some sweet immortality elixir back in the day. (So did Fermet and Elmer, but who's counting?)
(Can you imagine Huey idly telling Victor as much in 2003 and Victor having to briefly contemplate the idea that Lucrezia is alive thanks to Huey? Victor's brain fries on the spot, already overheated with outrage that Huey's not only known but been in contact with Lucrezia.)
Huey could—if permitted to prove his claims—utter a few names, locations, and other details that might lead Victor towards a reunion with his 21X-years-deceased lady love within the month.
He doesn't do that since revealing he's connected to the Dormentaires would be a Stupid Thing to do. Sure, jeopardize 1935, why don't you.
He doesn't do it because I imagine that Lucrezia, at any point post-1711, would have reminded Huey to keep her a secret from Victor (should H & V meet again). Perhaps she'd even make that a petty stipulation in some deal.
He doesn't because watching an emotional man express complicated emotions over a long-dead, tricksome lover might be some sort of health hazard. Watching Mr. Emotions express raw anticipation of reuniting with his tangible, alive, never dead loved one might even be self-harm. Eh, but who says Huey still has a self to harm? Being immune to situations like this is his specialty.
(He doesn't because, hey, Victor already has the alive dame. Huey does not.)
Telling Victor about his desire to reunite with Monica is...not happening. Never mind any jabs Victor could make about Huey being loveless and unloveable; imagine what a waste of time it would be to trigger Victor thinking of Lucrezia and getting sentimental. Well, more than the "save my wife...hometown" line did.
Victor is sentimental about her. This is the man who signs off his reports to Lucrezia with "Yours alone" (LN17, Interlude II & III) while knowing he isn't "hers alone." In that second Interlude, he admits, "If I get the chance, I’d like to board that boat, too," but immediately quells Lucrezia's imagined fears by adding, "Don’t worry, I won’t leave for America on my own."
He probably wouldn't have, given his incentive to remain on Lucrezia's (much smaller!) continent. His love for Lucrezia gently tethers him and his scholar-adventurer's spirit. This is the man who came to Lotto Valentino "hoping to find was something out of some heroic drama, an evil secret society," and personally expose their dastardly deeds" (Interlude I). Szilard had mocked him. "What’s wrong with that, though?" Victor writes. "Alchemists can dream, can’t they?"
They can also go around picking anti-slavery fights with aristocrats, aka Victor's hobby. They can dream of exploring America, a land far from the immediate reach of said aristocrats, and conduct pioneering research, especially if they fancy themselves "a scholar by nature (with) a thirst for knowledge," like Victor still does in 1935-A, Ch. 2.
Victor's sense of justice presumably drove Victor into the employment of the federal government, whenever that first happened, but we've less information on when and why Victor became as patriotic as he acts. I think Victor has a longstanding need to be somebody with a cause, whether that's the dashing hero who liberates a town from an evil society, the activist who confronts pro-slavery aristocrats, the noble scholar who pursues and generates knowledge...
...or, in this case, an agent of a governing body who has sworn to support and defend (the Constitution) of the United States against all foreign and domestic (Huey) terrorists. Lucrezia will die of old age someday. Szilard is hunting us immortals down; so much for guaranteed eternity. This young nation is fragile—but what might it evolve into, in this land beyond the Old World's stuffy reach? If Victor perhaps becomes the Patriot for a sense of greater purpose, he may develop some genuine loyalty as he watches young America evolve over the decades, from rebelling against his former countrymen in the Revolution to choosing the path of emancipation.
(And perhaps he envies all the inventors and scientists who America keeps spitting out or inviting in from overseas. Patriot life nowadays is relegated to deskwork; Huey is busy tinkering with all sorts of contraptions and keeping busy with alchemy while Victor is reaming out some newbies in an office for the sake of a short-lived ego boost. This Victor has lived through wars and atrocities that the Victor who was ill one day into Lotto Valentino could never foresee.)
If Lucrezia still has (copies of) those reports, maybe she'll have remembered that Victor mentioned Niki in them and therefore decide to include Niki as part of the surprise, without any forewarning of Niki's inclusion. "Remember Niki? You mentioned her in your reports from Lotto Valentino, but that was so long ago." Niki was with her when they had that close shave with Victor and Jessica, which ~~along with some B! fics~~ means I have to entertain the possibility of a double surprise.) I mean, what if Victor had spotted them? It's not impossible.
If Victor sees Niki outright, that 'damnably ill' sickness he felt in Lotto Valentino may very well resurge.
He absolutely will remember Niki because he was impressed by the strength she had for a young person who endured what she did. "I think it was so painful that she had to maintain that distance to be able to speak of it at all," he writes to Lucrezia (LN17, Interlude I). He attempts a joke about Niki being no match for Lucrezia, but it's just a feeble coping method for writing about Niki's "revolting" account.
There's little doubt that Victor and Lucrezia will slip back into their romantic groove once the dust is settled, but I do...think perhaps this older, changed Victor ought to acknowledge the dust first. I'm not sure I want him to revert to 1711!Victor and react the same way he did when he learned that Lucrezia faked her death, nor react like Carla did, since Carla was similarly young. The timeframes aren't comparable.
(I'm vaguely reminded of Archangelo confronting Renee over the downright evil (his words) activities she's carrying out at Nebula. It's not the same level of badness, at all, but the "what are you thinking" approach has something to it.)
I am somewhat interested in a scenario where Victor learns about the homunculi experiments and Huey's "Monica" motive, because I can imagine Victor getting drunk and saying "wow, I handled the loss of my love infinitely better than Huey / At least I didn't create sentient beings and put them through stressful experiments all in the name of reuniting with a dead loved one / Holy shit what the fuck."

Description: **The riveting memoir of a Vietnam War helicopter pilot. “When you step into a Huey with Tom Johnson, you’re in for the real thing. No one has previously captured the Vietnam helicopter experience with such gripping authority.”—Robert F. Dorr, author of Chopper   **   From June 1967 to June 1968, Tom Johnson accumulated an astonishing 1,600 flying hours piloting the UH-1 “Iroquois”—better known as the “Huey”—as part of the famous First Air Cavalry Division. His battalion was one of the most decorated units of the Vietnam War, and helped redefine modern warfare. Johnson’s riveting memoir takes us into key battles and rescue missions, including those for Hue and Khe Sanh. In harrowing detail, he tells of being shot down in the battle of A Shau Valley, of surviving enemy attacks during the Tet Offensive, and of a death-defying nighttime river rescue, in which only the bare feet of soldiers hanging off the Huey’s skids kept the helicopter from plunging under water. From dangerous missions to narrow escapes, Johnson’s memoir vividly captures the adrenaline rush and the horror of war, and takes you on a ride you’ll never forget.

Future airworthiness directive must land all B-17s in flight conditions
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 04/20/2023 - 20:00 In Military, Museums
Last Saturday (April 15), the Yankee Air Museum announced that it was landing its vintage World War II Boeing B-17G "Yankee Lady" in anticipation of a FAA Airworthiness Guideline (AD), expected within a few weeks.
Online sources, including a detailed article on Aerovintage.com, anticipate that the directive will likely land all B-17s currently flying due to "winch stringer problems" cited by the Yankee Air Museum.
The Michigan-based museum posted on its Facebook page: “Hello, the Yankee Air Museum decided to proactively cease flight operations of the B-17G Flying Fortress ‘Yankee Lady’. As a result, we expect a mandatory Airworthiness Guideline to be issued by the FAA in the coming weeks on the subject. With great caution, we are temporarily closing our B-17 flight operations and waiting for guidance from the FAA on the necessary inspections and repairs that will be necessary. It is expected that the B-17 will not fly during the 2023 flight season. Note that this only affects the B-17."
Tumblr media
The announcement added that those who scheduled "Air Adventure" tours on the "Yankee Lady" will receive refunds and ensured that their B-25, C-47 and Bell UH-1 "Huey" helicopters will continue to fly with passengers. A 25-minute tour of the B-17 costs US$ 525 (US$ 425 for museum members), according to the museum's website.
The "Yankee Lady" is one of the few B-17 currently operating in the US. Others include the Commemorative Air Force's "Sentimental Journey" (N9323Z) and the Erickson Aircraft Collection's "Olde Pub" (N3701G). In the United Kingdom there is B-17 "Sally B". According to Wikipedia and other sources, there are currently nine airworthy B-17s worldwide, of the 12,731 manufactured by Boeing, Douglas and Lockheed between 1936 and the end of World War II in 1945.
The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)'s B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" has remained grounded since April 2021 due to problems with its wing stringers, and the next directive is believed to result, at least in part, from what was discovered in efforts to solve these problems.
