"That's alright. No one is going to force you to," Wanda replied softly, giving him a gentle squeeze as she hugged him. Nightmares were never fun, she could attest to that. So when she had heard him up, she hadn't needed to ask what had happened. Instead, she sat with him, held him close and rubbed his back gently, wanting to soothe him as best she could. "If you want, we could go and put a movie on? Get your mind off of it?"

It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations, or insinuate that I’m a superhero. ( for any of your kids because billy looks suspiciously like wiccan doesn't he, you know, for a dude who makes no attempt whatsoever to hide his real identity with literally any part of his costume except a hood )

“Awfully defensive for a guy who’s not Wiccan, don’t you think?” Julie says with a knowing smirk. She wrote her article on teen heroes recently enough that all the grainy cell photos are still ingrained in her memory and she couldn’t mistake them if she tried.

"No... no it's ok," Wanda reassured Billy, not wanting him to feel like he was making her feel worse. The cut on her head had been a pretty sore one, though how she had managed to get it had been a pretty stupid move. How had she forgotten that the cupboard door was open? "It's my own fault for it happening in the first place anyways. How's it looking?"

Billy/Teddy Regency AU

It's been happening since he was fifteen -- every year the Kaplans throw a shindy, they throw a party, they throw so much money at food and booze and hanging, floating lights that Billy doesn't know what to do with himself. 

And it's been happening since he was fifteen -- every year the Altmans show up (late as usual) and by the time their fathers are drunk and their mothers are drunk and every single tattle-telling cousin is drunk, Billy feels Teddy's wide, warm hand on his shoulder and he gives him a smile.

And it's been happening every second of every minute of every day since he was fifteen -- Billy's been falling in love.

"I know that you will probably tell me not to worry, right? That I'm..." She couldn't say the words 'not your mom', feeling her heart break again. "But that doesn't stop me from worrying. So will you let me clean you up?"
