Could i request a Thomas Shleby with a (1-3) gender neutral age regressor reader? If you want, maybe they could be a peaky blinder's sibling (not a Shelby, maybe Isaiah Jesus) and Tom wants to keep reader safe and take care of them while the boy does his jobs? I don't know how much of age regression they would understand due to the time period it is set in but also think at least Thomas or Polly would piece together the "why" and "when" reader regresses (especially since Thomas seems to be very aware of other's behavior and also maybe traumas since he can relate and/or is very good at reading people) so they kinda go along with it? It would be nice to see just some nice fluff and Tommy comforting reader while they wait for their brother and just enjoy themselves playing in his office maybe Tom putting them down for a nap so they don't get cranky when their sibling arrives

Cg Tommy Shelby & Little!Reader - A Little Storytime

As Isaiah Jesus’ half-sibling, you were well aware of the ins and outs of the Peaky Blinders. The heists, protection, and even wars that they were responsible for in Birmingham’s streets were a part of daily life. It wasn’t hectic all the time, but the responsibility each member had was immense and came with more baggage than you had ever been interested in carrying.

Yet you did have responsibility, and it was in making sure your regression didn’t get in the way of your brother’s duties. As far as you knew, no one other than your brother knew about your age regression, or at least drew attention to your coping mechanism. You had an inkling that Polly and Thomas had an idea that something was going on. Disappearing for entire days or clinging to your brother when there were too many people around wasn’t necessarily the most unassuming of things.

All of these thoughts ended rather rapidly when Tommy took matters into his own hands. You were busy playing with Isaiah, sitting on the floor of the betting shop and flipping through a picture book. He sat across from you, his suit jacket and hat draped across one of the desks haphazardly. A day off for the shop, only Polly remained in her office, door closed and blinds pulled down. You were having a nice time, that is until Tommy barged into the shop, shouldering the wooden door open in anger.

“Isaiah!” He nearly shouted, causing both you and your brother to jump.

“Holy hell, Tommy! What is it?” Isaiah gasped, springing up to his feet as you curled into yourself. Tommy paid you no attention, sights set on Isaiah.

“You were due at the docks two hours ago. D’you want to be replaced?” Tommy’s cerulean eyes flashed.

Isaiah gulped, grabbing his jacket and putting his cap on. “No, sir.”

“What’re you waiting for, boy? Go on.” The older man motioned to the door.

“I- uh,” Isaiah offered you a hand and you took it, rising to your feet but refusing to lift your eyes from the floor. “I can’t leave them alone right now.”

Finally, Tommy looked at you. He cocked his head to the side, making a quick assessment. “Well, y’can’t bring ‘em with you. For fuck’s sake, go on, Isaiah.”

Isaiah gave your hand an apologetic squeeze and hurried past Tommy, giving you a last glance before shutting the door behind him.

Not only were you alone with Thomas Shelby, leader of the Peaky Blinders and one of the most intimidating men you had ever laid eyes on, but you were little and he was starting to encroach on your space. In fact, you began to tremble as he seemingly stomped over to you.

It was beyond a surprise when he pulled his cap off and crouched down in front of you, causing your eyes to look into his rather than at the floor.

“Did I frighten you?” He asked after a moment, voice low but strangely gentle. His cerulean eyes were so blue you felt as if you could fall right into them.

Little and honest, you nodded your head and wrung your hands together.

“We can’t have any of that, can we?” Tommy’s voice lilted, and so did your heart in your chest. “C’mon.” He offered you his hand and you shuffled on the spot before taking it.

You cast a stray look back at your book that was still on the floor, bottom lip jutting out slightly. You had really wanted to finish the story with Isaiah! Now you weren’t too sure what exactly it was that Dr. Dolittle was going to do.

Tommy, ever perceptive, picked your book up off the floor, losing the page you were on in the process. Your hand wilted in his grasp. What was he going to do with your lovely picture book that Isaiah had gifted you with?

A soft chuckle from Tommy had your shy gaze looking up at him in surprise. “You want to finish your book, yeah?”

You nodded again, unable to be brave enough to use your voice. He tugged you along, right towards his office — which you had never been inside before. There hadn’t been any need for you to, dealing more often than not with Polly when it came to gang business.

An exasperated, shaky noise slipped past your lips as he opened the door. “‘M I in t-trouble?”

The older man let go of your hand and sat himself down in his chair, in front of a large and meticulously clean desk. “Of course not. Come.” He ordered, though his tone was warmer than you expected.

You shuffled over to him hesitantly, and nearly yelped when he pulled you onto his lap. Your trembling lessened when he handed you your book.

“I lost your page. Y’gonna find it again?” He asked, watching you carefully as you frowned and started flipping through the book. You aah-ed in relief when you landed on the right page, Dr. Dolittle smiling brightly with his rosy cheeks and grey top hat. Already you felt yourself slipping further, feeling tiny in Tommy’s lap and protected by his arms around you.

“Here. I’ll read the words, and you can flip the pages.” He said casually, and began reading the words that you always skipped and didn’t even notice. The story started to come alive right in front of you, and the gentle, low rumbling of Tommy’s voice filled your little heart with everything you needed.

You didn’t even realize you were sleepy, that is until you awoke with your head tucked against Tommy’s chest and the way it softly rose and fell against your cheek. Perfectly comfortable, you snuggled back into him and entered a peaceful sleep, full of dreams of Tommy’s unexpected kindness.

agere tommy, baby tiem. Caretaker Puffy and secondary caretaker Jack, who doesn't really know what he's doing but is trying his best. Toms like one of those big dogs who thinks he's a lap dog, curling up against Jack like a baby but his legs are just everywhere. It makes him giggly.

When he regresses Jack doesn't always notice at first cus Tommy is just immature in general sometimes, but little tommy is a lot worse at talking and at not crying in every day situations. Even if Jack is mad at him he usually tries to just put their argument on pause when Tommy regresses cus his mind ain't right and he's usually in flashback. Jack just sighs and brings Tommy to bed with some water and either comforts him for a bit (usually just quiet cuddles) or tells him to take a break and come get up when he's ready.

When you got connected to the middle Shelby boy, you were warned that life would never be the same. You assumed as much, knowing that their business went much farther than horse racing. You were up to the task. You had been in the Shelby orbit for years, you saw what it all took, and when Tommy made his intentions known to you, you were willing to step up and do your part in expanding the empire.

Polly joked that you were made for this life with the way that you so seamlessly came in. While the Shelby company were encroaching into higher society and government facades, they needed a pretty face to butter up old money hands. When the boys were running liquor and snow and violence, you ran sweet words and high teas with women whose husbands had deep and ancient pockets. Even before Thomas met with potential partners, they were already inclined to agree since you were just so kind and elegant looking. Surely a woman like you would never be with someone not reputable right?

But it wasn’t just the business you managed to soothe and nurture. You also added a salve to the Shelby familial wounds. Some wounds required more care than others. Some would never heal completely, but petty arguments could be solved and begin the groundwork for a more harmonious union. You had stepped in more than once to facilitate peace agreements between the Shelby siblings more than once, “Do it for the children yeah? They deserve to be able to see their cousins and aunts and uncles freely. Shelby’s need each other. And it’s Christmas for God’s sake!”

And no good deed goes unpunished it seems. Due to your expert people skills and kind face, you were put in charge of a Christmas gala for all the biggest names in the city. A dual purpose to flaunt the power of the Shelby family, and to raise funds for a women’s shelter to be built. In the same week you were planning to host Christmas dinner and Christmas morning in the home for the entire Shelby family. Everyone was coming and it was to be a beautiful affair. It’s would be wonderful save for the sheer amount of people to take care of. You had spent the day running around, only to continue into the evening, taking care of your and Tommy’s children; putting them to bed and giving them each some attention in the absence of their father.

By the time you had finished your tasks for the day, it was late, and Tommy still wasn’t finished with the ledgers and accounts. He looked exhausted, the puffiness of his eyes evident in from under his glasses. Sleeves rolled up and shirt open the quiet desire for sleep was coming off him in waves. You wrap your soft satin robe tighter around you as you gently sit next to Tommy. Without looking up from his work he says to you in a gravely voice, "You should be in bed, it's late love."

You shake your head, though you feel as though invisible fingers are dragging your eyelids down, "Mm not tired."

Tommy chuckles as he hears you attempt to stifle a yawn. He takes off his glasses to look at your faltering face. "You're not eh? You sure?"

You lean back on the comfortably expensive sofa Tommy had set up shop on, stretching out the ache in your back, "Perhaps a little. But I don't like not sleeping next to you. If you're up, I'm up. We're a team yeah?"

Tommy smiles, enamored by your insistence. It was one of the things that drew him to you the first time he saw you. Your quiet defiance. You intent to keep people together and not leave anyone behind. It was only a small fractal of how sweet and tender your heart was. Tommy leaned over to gently kiss your temple, "Alright then. If you insist Commander. I'll be done soon enough I promise."

With another poorly hidden yawn you say, "Take your time darling. I brought reading."

Just as Tommy predicted, within 15 minutes you were out like a light. Back when you all were children, it was a running joke that you would be running and playing as hard as you could one minute, and fall dead asleep on any surface the next minute. It never changed. As Tommy chuckled and picked the book off your face where it fell, he was reminded of you as a young girl. Though there were a few more marks and lines on your face now, you had the whispers of your youth still on your face. Your daughter with Tommy slept the same exact way. Mouth open slightly. Arms raised above your head. Utterly at peace. Tommy was tempted to wake you to tease you, but knew you would punish yourself for 'falling asleep on the job'. He opted to finish his paperwork instead, working diligently and quietly so as not to disturb you. Soon enough he was done and put everything away in his desk to pick up tomorrow. Pressing gentle kisses to your face, he whispers against you, "Darling, wake up. Let's go to bed eh? Get you more comfortable."

You jolted awake, nearly knocking Tommy over, "Oh God... what time is it? Are the kids ok?"

Tommy chuckled deeply, pulling you up by the arms, "No no darling. Kids are alright. You fell asleep next to me. It was a bit adorable really. You look exactly like Matilde in her crib. "

You throw yourself back down, "Oh God I fell asleep while you were working! That is not what I wanted to do! I wanted to keep you company!"

Tommy laid himself over you, pushing your arms away from your embarrassed face, "You did keep me company. Perfect company. You needed to sleep. You've been running around. Being the best mother and wife. Being the best coordinator. Being the best aunt and sister in law. Hard work my love. C'mon. Let's get to bed yeah?"

You let him kiss you and take you to bed. Sleep took you both sweetly and quickly. And in the morning you would start it all over again. Waking to your children jumping on top of you with joy, and another list of things to attend to. But as long as Tommy was next to you. It would all be worth it.

I wanted to do just agere but I couldn’t help but set up Tommy’s character a little more…oops! headcanons under the cut

Season: 10 (timelines? I’ve never heard of her) When did Tommy leave dsmp?: After his revival Is Tommy a hybrid?: yes, moth :] Who’s a little & who’s a CG?: little!tommy, cg!hermits

like most h!tommy fics, tommy ended up in hc by accident. the hermits themselves weren’t really worried - it’s 27 to one, after all. but tommy was. He put up an impeccable fight despite having no gear + numbers disadvantage anyways.

eventually it smoothens out and he becomes a “temporary guest” on the server “until they can figure out what to do with him” (sure. sure)

he builds his base out of cobblestone right on the world border. it’s a castle. cobble, because it’s his favorite block, and on the world border for two reasons - he’s a little insecure, on this server of grand building feats - and to stay hidden. he’s still wary. it’s instinctive.

the builders LOVE his base!! btw!! sure it’s crude and not that refined but no matter how hard tommy tries to conceal his pride/passion, they can tell. they try to subtly come over, give him resources/pointers/encouragement, etc etc. tommy doesn’t trust it (he does appreciate it, secretly. he won’t admit that to anyone [let alone himself] however)

Henry and Shroud have revived themselves. They have the same thing as Jellie goin’ on. They’re Tommy’s support animals <3 he doesn’t know know that it’s them, at least not consciously, but he named them after the old buddies.

now for agere time! mwehehe

Tommy’s been going “small” for a while now. Probably since pogtopia? he doesn’t have the words for it, never really did, but it’s been happening. he knows he’s not supposed to, but he can’t stop himself. (involuntary agere baybe!!!) He has a lot of unhealthy ideas around it - thinking it’s bad, mainly. a weakness.

he tries to hide it from the hermits. only doing it in the privacy of his own base, clutching a worn blanket in stubby and calloused fingers. he wanders aimlessly, babbling nonsense to himself. he hides whenever people find him during these moments. (Henry & Shroud try and protect him during these times.)

the first to find him is Bdubs. He came over to give some materials, and found a Tommy that is remarkably not-Tommy-ish. He catches on quickly.

Do the hermits have the words for it, either? Probably not, no. But that doesn’t matter. They’ve been across many servers, thousands of worlds, seen all the whims of the universe. They’re no stranger to this, even if they don’t know the terminology.

Tommy is mistrustful about this. He’s hesitant about showing this side of himself. He’s weak in this state - easy to take advantage of.

But this is Hermitcraft. They wouldn’t do that! Even if Tommy hasn’t internalized that, it’s true.

Tommy’s little self kind of has the inverse character development that his big one does. When he first finds himself in HC, he’s loud and reckless as a coping mechanism. Does he ever entirely mellow out? Not really. But the calmness does whisper in the waves around him. On the other hand - when he’s little, at first, he’s shy and quiet. Downcast. But as he gets more comfortable around the hermits he gets louder, braver, outgoing, and very silly.

Some of his favorite activities with the hermits: hiking (he gets to go in the MUD!! and play with BUGS!! and WORMS!!), building, making food, putting on puppet shows/plays, and in general just having fun! (most of these he’s just watching them do stuff. but, like, you get it.)

Stuffed Animal OBSESSION. he didn’t really have any in dsmp, but now that he has the space to express himself, he’s having SO MUCH FUN. multiple rooms in his castle are dedicated to his collection. The hermits love indulging him.

thinks redstone looks so so cool, REFUSES to learn how it works. like woaw prebby. you’re explaining 2 me what it does? hell to you! hell for one thousand years!!

has a pallet for warm foods, especially when small. angel milk, oatmeal, baked goods, you know. the one exception is ice cream (yummy!) and maybe candy

wasn’t very touchy at first, but now that he’s more comfortable, EVERY TIME he’s around a hermit he’s glommed onto them. It can be subtle, like hand holding, but more than not he’s koala-ed onto them. He’s defined them as “safe” in his head, so now that he’s around them more, the closer he is to them the safer he is.

very talkative. not usually words? Just random babbling. It’s how the hermits find him small most of the time - he’ll send random sounds into the server chat. Like “bla ba ba?” or “meep mrrp. grgrbr. pffff bla bla!!! keee!!!” and people are like. oh he’s baby let me fawn over him. he’s constantly blabbering. and like yeah the chat is just text but you can babble over text.

bedtime is HARD. he HATES IT and gets VERY FUSSY. it has to be SPECIFIC and WARM and NICE and PRETTY or he will NOT close his eyes!!! every hermit has a different way of handling this. and if the specific hermit does it different than the normal way they specifically do it it’s an AFFRONT TO GOD!!!

love love LOVES soft things. stuffed animals? yes. but also blankets, pillows, clothing, and secretly… fur. any hybrid hermits who have some are amazing because of this. He’ll fawn over them for hours, just petting them over & over.

loves the stars/nighttime. will stargaze for hours. it puts him into a trance, basically. probably because of the moth thing but like you know the stars are pretty !!!

headcanons!!

- bdubs takes tommy on pony rides and occasionally lets him ride in the same saddle on the horses! tommy’s totally obsessed with the horsies and always needs to be warned 20, 10, and 5 minutes before they need to go or he’ll throw a fit lol

- the two will go exploring outdoors all the time! tommy loves gardening (although it’s possible he only likes it so much because he gets to play in the mud and pick up all the bugs) and running around in the forest, especially plopping down and sorting through the leaf litter. there are so many little critters!!

- when they’re not running around outside, bdubs and tommy have plenty of fun indoors! when tommy’s feeling like a bigger kid, they’ll play board games, but most of the time their play involves video games and pretend!

- on that note, tommy has a massive plushie collection (bdubs can never resist buying him new ones) and every single plushie has a name and a backstory. his favourites are a cow named henry and a horse named… well.. horsie. XD

- when tommy’s finally tired out from all the play, bdubs makes bedtime a whole event!! lots and lots of cozy blankets, soft lighting, warm milk and a mountain of plushies, of course as well as a bedtime story and/or lullaby <3 bdubs of all people knows how important bedtime is!!

notes; hello! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while so I thought I’d finally share my thoughts! I hope you all enjoy! And I sadly don’t know who drew the fanart but once I do I will credit them!

Just some warnings for the hc’s; mentions of meltdowns, being embarrassed of agere/not comfortable, and techno is mentioned.

hc’s under the cut!

- he first realized he regressed after his exile. After everything was done and he could relax a bit, he found himself slowly slipping when things got to hard and into a state he didn’t know he could go into. Yet he wasn’t complaining.

- he found out what it was from ghost boo, since ranboo used to do it all the time as well. (Hint to next post-). So after he found out what it was, he looked more into it.

- he figured it was from everything he’s been through since L’manberg. His trauma from it all, his deaths, dreams control, the betrayal of everyone. It all made sense. He still found it scary. He was scared of people knowing about this, scared what they might think. Scared of his own mind and that his life has been so bad he resorts to a little mindset to feel slightly better. It was scary and embarrassing in his eyes. He realized he couldn’t be the big man he wanted to be.

- after a while he came to terms with it. He started to feel more comfortable when he did and the thought didn’t make him so insecure when he thought about it. He was ok with it and if it helped him, it helped him. Everyone he told was supportive about it, and he felt accepted.

- his little age is 2-5 and he likes teethers. Not a huge fan of pacis but if someone gifts him one he will gladly wear it. But does prefer teethers.

- has a blue sippy with cows on it that Niki made him. He loves it so much!

-Tom talks! He is a little talker. He babbles and laughs all the time. He’s super energetic and happy when little and just so fun to watch over.

- loves watching cartoons and playing small games. Calms him down and makes him sleepy sometimes. He will color but not all the time.

- he doesn’t have a full time cg, so Phil, tech and Wil (pretend he’s sane) take turns watching him and being his cg!

- loves music! Lord he loves it!

- cuddles are a must with him. When he’s little, he’s little and needs cuddles.

- when toms a bit older in his little age like 4-5, he climbs trees! Makes Phil scared sometimes but he comes back just as ok he was when he went up. He just likes being up there and playing pretend.

-when Tom regresses from something bad triggering him, he usually has a breakdown and wants comfort and love. To know that nothing will happen to him again as long as he has his cg.

- wil always asks to take care of him as his brother. He thinks it’s a good way to get his trust back and be there for his baby brother when needed.

- lastly! Tom loves playing with friends! If anyone else regresses in the smp, he will have play dates with them!

❤️ The only ‘problem’ be still has is that he still gets really shy baby regressing (restating but he regresses from about 1-4, and puppyspace)

💨 Mostly since he becomes very vulnerable and dependent in his babyspace, but he's slowly getting there

⭐️ Johnny and Kenshi ADORE Tomas when he small

❤️ Babyspace? Oh my goodness, he's so adorable, Kenshi!! Toddler? Johnny, Tomas drew me a picture and now we need to frame it. Puppyspace? My my, what a fierce little guy we have!!

💨 Tomas a small problem of pushing off his regression to the point that he involuntarily regresses, most times to babyspace, and desperately needs someone at his side

⭐️ Unfortunately most times Johnny and Kenshi are really busy, but they'll have Kuai Liang or Harumi or whoever with Tomas call them

❤️ Tomas is usually good with technology, but has a bad habit of gasping when he sees them and hitting the phone by trying to grab it, and ending the call by accident

💨 Que to him cryingly giving whoever watching him the phone so he can call them back, he's very upset that Daddy or Dada disappeared on him like that and will make sure to inform them >:(

⭐️ If he's a big bigger and regresses at the Shirai Ryu or Lin Kuei, they'll still do mostly facetime or Skype

❤️ If he regresses with them, most times at Cage's mansion, he get babied to the MAX

💨 Whether hes actually baby or not, he gets so, so spoiled

❤️ Sometimes Tomas will babble and then hide in one of their shoulders, and he becomes really blushy and giggly afterwards because he's embarressed

💨 Johnny mainl nicknames for Tomas are Kiddo, Baby Boy, Smokey, Smokey Bear, Puppy, Sweetie, Tommy, and so, so many more

⭐️ Kenshi's main nicknames for Tomas are ‘Hun and Precious, sometimes he'll steal some from Johnny

❤️ Tomas calls Johnny ‘Daddy’ and Kenshi ‘Dada’

💨 Tomas really likes Kenshi's sword when he's small but will try to chew on it and pouts when it gets snatched from him

⭐️ Luckily though, Johnny can easily place his sunglasses on Tomas's face and Tomas has a new favorite item (will also try to put it in his mouth, but mainly likes judt wearing them)

❤️ Tomas really likes playing dress up with Johnny and Johnny adores jt!!!

💨 He can put Tomas into the cutest outfits if hes smaller, but if his about 4, he'll dress up in some of Johnny's old movie outfits

⭐️ And they'll have a mini photo shoot too!!! Johnny sometimes can convince Tomas to let him take really nice pictures of him doing certain poses from old movies (and they're like, nice professional photos with good lighting too, Johnny has a section dedicated for when he takes his own photos)

❤️ Luckily though, Johnny isn't as fussy about them being as perfect like he would be if Tomas wasn't regressed, he gets that they're just having fun

💨 Sometimes Tomas will dress as Johnny or Kenshi and try to act like them and gets very giggly if they cross their arms and give him the look

⭐️ Kenshi's really likes watching a movie and cuddling when Tomas is little, mostly because he can hold his baby for hours with little to no fuss

❤️ Personally, Tomas's favorite movies are almost every and all of Johnny's flicks, but Kenshi decided that he was too young for most of them >:( (too much gore or fighting that makes Tomas get really upset and start blubbering, asking if Daddy was going to be okay because he got beat up on screen 🥺)

💨 Tomas will insist that Kenshi picks most times, bjt Kenshi almost always persuades Tomas to tell him what he really wants to watch and then recomend that

⭐️ He doesnt actually care about the movie part himself, more that Tomas gets super clingy and will share his yummy snacks

❤️ Tomas knows he can get a reaction out of Johnny, and he'll use it to his advantage

💨 He’ll have Johnny open some oreos, then steal the whole container, and then offer Kenshi one and giggle as Johnny pouts about not getting any

⭐️ Johnny knows Tomas likes his facial reactions, and will over do them sometimes just for him

❤️ If Tomas does do something naughty and he's a bit bigger, Kenshi's usually the one to set his foot down

💨 Mostly because Johnny will let a lot of matters drop

⭐️ One look of ‘🥺’ and Johnny will fix up Tomas's mess and tell him why he can't do it again

❤️ Meanwhile Kenshi will help Tomas fix his mess and explain why he can't do such and such

💨 I'm totally not prompting my ao3 again, (id never do that you have no proof >:3), but there was a time period where Tomas refused to regress with anyone because they were all busy and he firmly believed that that meant he was wasting their time by regressing

⭐️ When the Kenshi and Johnny finally found out about they, they were actually so sad that they didn't realize beforehand

❤️ They just thought Tomas had a hard time regressing and got him some regressing items and it made Tomas break down

💨 It also kinda made Johnny break down because it reminded him of his time with Cris and how alone he felt while small

⭐️ Don't worry, everything's better now, and Tomas is getting better on communication <3

❤️ They think Tomas is the funniest thing when he's puppy regressed

💨 Mostly because he'll go from chewing on his stuffie, to trying to pounce the pillow because it looked at him funny, to falling off the couch because his hand slipped

⭐️ (^ He was okay, he just pouted as both Johnny and Kenshi laughed, the meanies)

❤️ One time Tomas was nawing on Kenshi's arm and Kenshi was totally fine with it until Tomas bite slightly too hard and Kenshi had a bite mark for a good few hours

💨 It also made Tomas absolutely blubber and apologize a million times because he didn't mean to!! He was just trying to mess around, he didn't wanna hurt Dada on purpose 🥺

⭐️ Luckily no true hard was done but Tomas was no longer allowed to naw on Kenshi's arm (he pouted but understood that he could hurt Dada again and didn't protest much)

❤️ Luckily though, Johnny got Tomas his first baby chewing toy and Tomas absolutely loved it

💨 Hates to admit it, but gets to distract when things jingle above him

⭐️ He could be pouting about being unable to have a sweet or because he did something naughty and got in a bit of trouble, and Kenshi will jingle his keys and suddenly Tomas thinks has a new toy to play with

❤️ Anything they jingle will become his until he finds something new that's his (found that out the hard way when they tried to take back Kenshi's keys)

finished my 911 binge at 5 o’clock this morning and what a wild ride it was. some stray thoughts

1. While i started this show for the queer characters, it took like 3 episodes before i absolutely fell in love with every cast member. I’d thought my favorite would stick to being Buck, but i think it’s a eight way tie with Maddie, Bobby, Athena, Hen, Chim, Karen and Eddie. All of these characters are just so lovely, i definitely think that’s what this show does best

2. My favorite ridiculous call was definitely the guy covered in purple insulation. Also this poor show needs a bigger CG budget

3. Did not fall in love with Buddie as much as i was expecting. I definitely adore their chemistry and bond and if they ended up together, i would be 100% on board, but i think i’m gonna be rooting for BuckTommy until they officially end things.

4. Taylor is the worst

5. Best multi episode disaster was the tsunami, no question

6. If i had to pick an overall favorite epsiode, probably Jinx. I love goofy 118 moments

7. Every single “Begins” episode made me cry. Every single one. Just another indicator that this show is actually really good at character writing.

8. It is a strange experience doing nothing but watching 100 episodes for 4 days straight and having like three christmas episode smushed in the middle. A bit uncanny, but they kinda acted like milestones

9. I freaking love that Buck’s first male LI is a former 118 guy, partly because it’s just a nice idea, partly because watching this show for the first time after being introduced through the kiss™ meant i squealed like crazy whenever Tommy was on screen

and lastly, 10. I will throw hands to protect Christopher. My sweet angel child.
