Pet Peeve:

Fanworks are transformative. Everybody is free to do whatever the hell they want with canon in their fanfic/fanart/ect.

Personally, I like to respect it and see it respected. Mostly XD

The reverse can be fun! As long as it makes sense within the author's story...

So, one of my most massive pet peeve is the over-abundance of Tatooine's things outside of Tatooine in fanwork.

The "specificity" of Tatooine in the story of Star Wars is that it's the ass-end of the galaxy.

You know, when you go to a party and there is this guy who comes from the very, very deep countryside and you ask him where he lives and when he tells you the name of his village, you do "???"

Then he tells you the name of the nearest town, and even then you do "???"

Because it is so remote that no one knows it except for the three persons who live there.

If Jabba lives there, it is not because it's a hot spot. It is because it's so remote, no one will come looking for him there. Or bother.

It's so isolated, the animals, plants and expressions of language native to Tatooine have never gone any further than Tatooine, guaranteed. It's barely somewhat near the McMurdo Space Highway, which is the one running through the Outer Rim.

There is no one in the galaxy outside of Tatooine who eat bantha. The only ones who have, did so because they set foot on Tatooine and caught one. (I hope for them they were faster than the Sand People).

If Dex serves bantha steak in his burgers, it's because Disney serves us Tatooine in all its sauces, because they are not afraid of being illogical in the name of nostalgia-induced profit.

If Anakin says "poodoo" to say shit, a huttese word, it's because he grew up on Tatooine and, during that time, Tatooine was under the authority of the hutts.

So, once again, no one in the gffa is going to use huttese words unless 1. They are part of hutt society/cartel, or 2. They lived (part of) their lives in a region under the authority of said hutts.

When in a fanfic a jedi exclaims "Poodoo!" because the author wants to find a Star Wars-y way to say shit and they only have Anakin's example in mind, it has about the same effect on me as seeing a young WASP woman in a Channel suit exclaiming "Verga!" because she got her Louboutin in dog shit.

My friends, the authentic reaction of two Star Wars characters talking, and one telling the other that he's from Tatooine, is "Where?"

"Oh, you know- Tatooine."

"No, I don't know it."

"It's near Kwen!"

A Quick Rundown Of My Idea For Legends Mew

Hi all I had a great idea for a Pokémon Legends Mew game and wanted to share my idea

I want to note however in my opinion Legends doesn’t necessarily mean the games must take place in the past, Legends can come from anywhere.

Anyhoo

The idea would be your character would look like Red or Green and as soon as you picked your character you’d hear bells and whistles and machines

Then you awaken in the middle of a forest, your a bit disoriented and are then ambushed by a swarm of Beedrills

Your saved by a young women named Cyana who is shocked your outside without a protective suit, she quickly gets you back to her base and has her

father Professor Oak look you over.

After giving you a work up he notes there is no sign of any damage and wonders how you found yourself in the Viridian Zone

He is shocked that you are just as confused as he is, he however offers you a position at The Satellite Exploration Corp.

He then offers you three starters Snivy, Litten and Totodile

After that it’s explained that years ago Tram Rocket returned under new leadership, Professor Oak’s father and a hero (Red/Green) traveled to stop them but perished when Team Rocket’s doomsday device went off

The device had a strange effect on the region especially the Pokémon and the people of Kanto were forced to evacuate and the region was placed on quarantine.

You and Cyana are tasked with cataloging the Pokémon and there behaviors to determine if the region is safe again.

During the story you’d come across scavengers and a mysterious rival (looks like Green if your Red and Red if your Green)

The big bosses or Nobel Pokémon would be giant glowing Pokémon

Venasaur

Blastoise

Pikachu

Charizard

Lapras

Upon defeating them they would flee and you’d eventually piece together they were The Lost Heroes pokemon who since being caught in the first ring of the doomsday weapon were mutated and frenzied

You’d then follow clues leading you to Cinnebar Island

You’d find a lab and inside that lab is a broken cloning chamber, upon touching it your overwhelmed by memories and are confront by Mewtwo

But he’s in a new form, he’s glowing purple and black with red eyes.

Upon defeating him and capturing him he’ll explain how he and his partner tries to stop team rocket, but weren’t strong enough.

Mewtwo and The Lost Heroes Pokémon tried to contain the blast but were injured and exposed to the energies.

Mewtwo explains all he had left of his partner was there hat and he found Blaine and forced him to make the clone.

You two are interrupted by your rival who battles you

Upon losing they flee

Eventually a twist would be revealed The Satellite Exploration Corp was founded by Giovanni who in his old age tried to fix the damage his old team caused

Finally the final boss would be an elderly

Silver who has capture Ho-oh and wants to use its power to give new life to the region but the machine he uses would kill it

You defeat him and the rival appears and tells him only Mew could restore the region.

He surrenders and makes a remark about finding the rival in a chamber

It would be revealed that the rival is The Lost Heroes child who was protected by a younger Silver by being placed in a stasis chamber.

They flee and Mewtwo exits its pokeball and says he senses The Legendary Birds returning and that’s not all

And Two new legendary Beasts, An Ice One and a Dark One

After capturing them you head to Cerulan Cave and battle Mew

It would be a very hard battle due to Mew being tricky

After beating it Mew would fly away and a glowing rainstorm would wash over the region healing it and healing the Pokémon’s souls

That’s my quick idea, would love to hear what ya think.

°˖✧✿✧˖° ORIGINALLY BEING FROM THE MOUNTAINSIDE of Radiant Garden the beach was a lovely change. It seemed like just yesterday, her home planet was taken over by darkness; she and her friends arriving at Traverse Town. The female fighter had decided then she had to find Cloud; while her friends stayed in Traverse Town she was on a mission to make sure Cloud was ok. However, that was ages ago. Even if it seemed like it just happened.

Tifa had managed to find her childhood friend; Cloud being Cloud he took off not long after they'd reunited. That time she and friends decided to track him down this time. This is where Aerith came into play; the two girls, along with Zack, Yuffie, and Leon teamed up to find the SOLIDER. They group were still trying to find him. It seemed like he was always one step ahead of them.

The group of friends had been taking a small break from trying to find their friend. Hint's why they were in this world, enjoying the beach and everything this vaction like world had to offer. Aerith, Yuffie and herself had decided to enjoy the beach; Yuffie was the first to stray away, now it seemed Aerith was the second to stray away. Leaving the fighter a lone on the beach. It wasn't like Tifa couldn't protect herself. She just didn't like that her friends had decided to leave her without telling her.

Attention brought from trying to spot her friend by a certain keyblade master. The male looked like he had aged since the last time they'd crossed paths. This crimson orbs of hers lite up at the sight of him. "Sora! What a pleasant surprise!" The fighter smiled brightly at him. His cerulan eyes always seemed to pull her in when she looked into them. Listening to him she flashed a grin up at the keyblade master; shaking her head from side to side. "This was a sudden trip honestly-- Aerith, Zack, Leon, Yuffie, and I have been searching for Cloud from a while and decided to take a tiny break--. We just so happened to pick here." She laughed softly flashing the male a gentle smile.

For this islander, the beach was almost a call to home itself. His starfaring journeys were always allowed such a pause. Decked out in a set of palm tree swim trunks himself, a lively stretch was made as the warmth of the sun and the sound of rolling waves automatically worked a sense of comfort within his body and soul. "Looks like the surf is ebbin' up to be pretty solid! Though, before I go... !" There's a pause in his thoughts, the sights of a familiar face shadowed beneath an umbrella catching his attention.

There she was, looking glamorous as always no less. It left the keybearer's attention to suddenly reroute, trekking over towards their momentary turf, a growing smile situated upon the hero's lips. "Oh, so she's around here too? I didn't know y'all had a party planned today, heh heh!"

There Sora was, crouched down above and by her side in the next moment, those cerulean eyes initially peering for any signs as well before peeking down, witnessing Tifa in her entirety. "Don't you think it'd be fair if I got some mail for days like these? ..Granted, it may be a little tough having it gun towards space n' all." In kind, the natural option was to take the happenstance in stride.

Livia paced around, looking nervous, her three friends watching her as she muttered to herself. "Girl, calm down"Esme chuckles getting to her feet and walking over, stopping the pacing girl. "Yeah, you look fine but you'll tire yourself out!"Cerulan chuckles standing up and coming over. Livia sighed and relaxed then perked up at voices outside the room. "Is everything ready?" Hah, don't worry everything is PERFECT." The room door swung open, Livia popping her head out. "Gran Gran, Mister Nilo!"Livia beckons getting their attention. Maleficia walked over, Nilo trailing after her. "Yes?"Maleficia smiled stopping in front of her. "I talked with my family about this"Livia says fiddling with her fingers. Maleficia nodded, a silent encouragement for her to continue. "Will you give me away?"Livia asks. Giggling came from Evonie and Cerulan, Esme letting out a snort of amusement. "Never...who told you that.."Maleficia frowned her eyes glowing. "No! NO! I mean will you walk me to Jack!"Livia gasped waving her hands.

"Malleus will walk me in, and you'll walk me the rest of the way." Maleficia visibly relaxed as she let out a sigh, Nilo lowering the blade he had ready. "Then yes, of course I will Beastie"Maleficia smiled her expression softening. The woman eyed her wedding dress and frowned, pointing to it and adding a few adjustments. "Designers these days, honestly, can't find good ones"Maleficia grumbled Livia giggling as the fae woman fussed over her dress. "Know what, stand still, Beastie, let me try something"Maleficia huffed still displeased. She waved her hand, changing the dress entirely and smiled in approval at her work when it was done. "That's better"Nilo smiled looking impressed. "Thanks gran Gran"Livia giggled looking at her new dress. Bells went off followed by the fluttering of birds, getting the groups attention instantly. "See you"Cerulan smiled walking out of the room. Malleus made his way over and held his hand out. "Ready to go?"Malleus smiled. Livia beamed and took his hand giving him a strong sense of deja vu. "Always"Livia smiled.

Jack fiddled with his sleeve, stopping when Leona flicked his hand and fixed it for him. "Can't even make yourself look, shishishi, what would ya do without us!"Ruggie grinned hands behind his head. "What would you did without me, I bought that outfit for you, you know"Leona smirked amused. "Hey, sit down, little man"Lilia orders grabbing Owl and sitting him down. Thea pointed a firm finger to Moon and Meena, keeping the two from roughhousing. "Hey, sit down"Golden smirked flicking his brothers nose. "Screw you!"Copper grinned flipping him off. "Copper"Rosalie scolds giving him a look. Copper turned and sat down pouting. Jack perked up, looking over as the doors opened. Lily walked beside Tabitha beaming as the two sprinkled flowers around, Cheka walking after them with Gidel, the two carrying the rings. Evonie walked in, leading Azul forward as Esme and Philip walked in after them followed by Cerulan and a nervous jittery Sebek.

"Honey, calm down"Cerulan giggled Sebek trying to relax. Jack helped Lily up, smiling slightly. "Thank you"Lily whispers. "You're welcome"Jack whispers back causing the crowd to chuckle. "Woah.."Ruggie grinned jack looking up. Livia walked down the stairs, Malleus walking beside her as he escorted her down. He nodded as Maleficia made her way over to them and stepped back. "Beastie"Maleficia nods smiling. She held Livia's hand, walking to the alter. Livia stopped then made a beckon to someone in the crowd. Falena perked up, then looked at his wife then at Leona. Leona smirked in response as Amara beckoned for him to go. Falena stood up, and took Livia's hand, walking with her and Maleficia down the aisle. "Why-"Falena whispers leaning down towards her. "Without you and Amara, I wouldn't have gotten through my internship, that's why"Livia smiled looking up at him. She looked forward, slowing to a stop. Jack held his hand out and perked up when Maleficia stepped forward.

"Do you love my granddaughter, wolf boy?"Maleficia asks staring him down. "...if I didn't love her I wouldn't be standing here right now, waiting for her to take my hand"Jack responds. Livia smiled slightly, a small chuckle escaping from her. Maleficia glanced between them and smiled. "Good, take care of her." She stepped to the side, Livia stepping up beside Jack taking his hand. "Well, you two, I think rather than me talking, you both speak from the heart"Aural suggests giving Jack a small grin. Jack perked up, and sighed. "Livia." She blinked and looked up at him curiously. "I still remember when I saw you through my mirror, I was shocked and ready to get hostile but then I saw the innocent and curious twinkle in your eyes"Jack confessed rubbing the nape of his neck. Lilia whipped around, finding Ash sticking his tongue out at him looking the smuggest of smug. Lilia made a line across his throat, glaring at him. "I never saw you again until we turned ten and I stumbled through my mirror into your room, we were both freaked out and I bolted back through"Jack mutters looking embarrassed. "I'm glad I saw you that day, otherwise I wouldn't be standing here right now." Philip pulled Azul back before the male unknowingly got smacked with Jack's wagging tail.

Livia smiled, looking amused. "It was weird seeing you through my mirror, then you passing through the glass, I was totally freaked out and ready to call for servants"Livia chuckled causing the crowd to chuckle. "But that day was the happiest because now I'm standing here next to you, which I wouldn't have any other way"Livia beamed. Thea giggled, Lilia giving her a small smile. "Jack, do-"Aural begins. "Always"Jack nods Ruggie snickering behind him. "Livia?"Aural grinned amused. "Yes"Livia smiled. "Then I have nothing else to say, go ahead you two"Aural smiled closing his book and stepping back. Cheka and Gidel held the rings up, beaming at the two. "Thank you, Gidel"Jack nods taking the ring. He slipped the ring onto her finger, Leona smirking when he noticed it was the ring he gave him. "Thank you, Cheka"Livia smiled taking the ring. "You're welcome!"Cheka beamed his voice echoing. Leona groaned, covering his face as Falena laughed patting the males back.

Livia giggled and slipped the ring onto Jack's finger, a soft smile appearing on her face. "You may kiss your bride"Aural nods Malleus' eyes widening at his words. Malleus perked up and quickly stepped forward, his eyes glowing as he raised his hand to curse Jack. "Don't you dare!"Aura warns pointing at him as the crowd clapped and cheered while throwing flower petals up into the air. Malleus silently sulked, Aura pinching his arm in a scolding way. He huffed but smiled, letting himself relax, Maleficia smirking as she watched the two at the alter. "Grandmother, do you nee-"Malleus started. "I'm not crying, I do not need a handkerchief nor tissue"Maleficia denied immediately. Nilo laughed, smiling at her in pure amusement. "You said that my dear, but you don;t mean it"Nilo teased. Jack picked Livia up and spun around before setting her down, laughter coming from the two. Cheka and Gidel tossed flower metals up with Lily and Tabitha, wide smiles on their faces. Epel clapped with Minako, Eliza sitting on his other side. 

Cheka and Lily ran around the dance floor, adults laughing as they dodged the two running kids. Livia held Jack's hands, laughing when the two kids ran between them. "Hey, you two be careful, go with the other kids!"Falena laughed ushering them over to the kiddie side. "Okay Dad!"Cheka nods pulling Lily after him. Leona sighed, giving them an apologetic wave. Sherry grabbed the lion mans arm, laughing as she dragged him away to dance. "Hey you two! I booked you a honeymoon spot as a gift!"Kalim waved walking over with Virda following him. "Tried to stop him"Virda chuckles Kalim throwing her a winning smile. "That's very sweet Kalim, thank you"Livia smiled Jack standing halfway behind her. "Yep, the scalding sands is perfect for you Liv, and you can come visit me!"Kalim beamed Virda sighing at her boyfriends antics. "All that heat..."Jack sighed not ready for it. She laughed and grabbed his hand, pulling him after her, giving him a reassuring grin. "I'll take care of you, Wolfy!" He smiled and followed her. "Thanks Livy."

Livia: *Laughs, walking with Jack, Epel, Evonie, Cerulan, Maxi, and Ortho* That was so crazy!!

Ortho: Agreed!

Jack: *Flinches, something zipping past him*

???: I FOUND HER!!

Livia: *Shrieks, shielding her face as someone zipped past her*

Jack: *Snarls, moving in front of Livia, stopping a male in their track

Maxi: You alright Liv!

???: Woah we mean no harm! I'm a flying fish merman!! My name is Pop, this is my younger sister, Kelp, and my younger brother, Zap!

Epel: How dare you attack us!!

Kelp: We weren't attacking, we were observing!

Evonie: So you're stalkers?!

Zap: Of course not!

Pop: We need that horned girls help...

Livia: My help, why my help?!

Jack: *Growls at Pop, bristling* And her name is Livia!!

Livia: Calm down, Wolfy...

Jack: Sorry...

Zap: Please help us Ms Livia, our family is in danger and our seer said only you can stop it!

Livia: How can I help you guys, I'm confused, what did your seer say?

Zap: She said to find the girl with demon horns shaped like a ram, and that you have black hair with gold eyes

Cerulan: That's a small description of Liv, alright

Livia: Maxi, inform the Headmasters and Headmistress that I'll be gone for a while

Epel: You mean we will be gone!

Livia: What?!

Jack: You're not going alone, Liv

Livia: *Smiles, feeling touched* Guys...

Livia: *Smiles, her eyes turning blue, her friends casting speed and underwater breathing spells* Lets get this adventure started!

Jack: *Dives into the water, Epel and Evonie following*

Cerulan: *Leaps into the water, turning into her mer form* Woohoo!!

Ortho: *Presses a button on the back of his hand, his suit changing* Water mode activated

Livia: *Grins, watching Ortho dive into the water*

Maxi: *Smiles, brushing her wings against Livias* Good luck, Liv, you're gonna do great

Livia: *Smiles, brushing her wigs against Maxi's* Thanks Maxi, tell the rest of the flock not to worry, and make sure Sebek keeps the dorm in check

Maxi: *Smiles and nods* Right!

Livia: *Takes off into the air, grinning as she flew over the ocean surface, before diving into the water, swimming after the others, Pop, Kelp and Zap leading them* Lets get this adventure started!

Cerulan: Yeah!

Livia: A new journey..alright

Livia: *Looks down guilty*

Sebek: *Lifts her head, smiling resting his hand on her cheek* I'll get over you, even though it may take some time

Livia: *Grips his hand, leaning more into his palm then lets go*

Sebek: *Smiles* Jack is waiting for you...

Livia: *Smiles slightly and turns away, walking over to Jack*

Jack: *Takes Livia's hand, walking away beside her*

Sebek: *Watches them go then bows his head* It's going to be hard getting over you, My Lady...

Cerulan: *Peeks out, watching Sebek* Sebek...
