Finished Bayonetta Origins and got this final portrait. It kickstarted my want to draw my first Byler fan art. I'm more of a fanfic contributor when it comes to them, but it's always fun doing fan art.

I only had like about 4 followers when I was giving my whole entire life on tumblr so nobody really.. saw.. BUT on august 31 (first week of schooI) posted: "met the cutest guy on the first day of school (we didnt really meet but i saw him), his eyes are so kind and his smile is so genuine and he seems like such a nice person + we have classes together" KEEP IN MIND I DIDNT EVEN TALK TO HIM? and then on september 3rd I posted again: "if u saw my last post about that SUPER cute boy then yes u did but i actually spoke to him and he actually seems so sweet hehe . . but i don’t really wanna go to school because i have math first period i think :(" I DONT EVEN REMEMBER US TALKING? wait it might've been in spanish before he moved out on my spanish class.. THATS BESIDES THE POINT

but anyways ON SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2024. HE ASKED FOR MY NUMBER??? and I was shocked but I wasn't really active on tumblr at the time but when I realized I connected ALL the dots and I was genuinely so surprised, AND THEN on December 1st I had to give THE update: "okay serious update. so remember that boy who ended up asking for my number yeah yeah weve been talking and then the craziest thing happened. HE CONFESSED? HE LITERALLY SAID HE LIKED ME (like last friday)"

long story short, I think he still likes me because we talk all the time (we haven't texted at all this week), we walk together getting off the bus, we write each other letters, we always give each other song recommendations ALL THE TIME. and he also recommended me this chris cornell song "nothing compares 2 u" and in the letter he said "that basically describes how I feel about you" PARDON???

yeah so he's the sweetest boy ever and if we don't end up going to the same highschool I want you to shoot me. but we pinky promised to keep in contact if he doesn't sooo..

    I think what’s interesting about writing ocs that are entwined is you are able to see two narrative stories. Naoto, who I try very hard to define is an asshole but circumstance, the governing of the Zen’in Clan, generational trauma, along with emotional neglect is a product of all that has transpired. Does it give him an excuse? No, he’s still awful but not to the extent one thinks solely based on his surname. As he is one that argued if Maki crawls back to her friends, she is wasting her potential, this is a comment made by Naoya many overlook in terms of misogyny (if I can find the panel I’ll insert it). When in reality, there was a genuine concern, the surname still holds, her position still holds, it is a genuine question, one that Naoto, while disgruntled about the lack of cursed energy, did try to say; you can find another way. He’s also prone to trying with utmost might to break the cycle with his own son, who appears timid, shy, even frightened of the boy as if he’ll break the child or harm him.

  The marriage he was forced into was not joyous, it is not happiness, but he cares for his wife enough to assure she will escape one day && live happily with someone she loves. His death was to signify a man with nothing dies with nothing, Isamu being the one to solely cremate him while leaving the rest of the clan hinders on Isamu’s kindness && vengeance. They were friends since their teens, ostracized from their aristocratic families, one just chose to be the protector && infinite source of love for them both. While Naoto is portrayed as the wolf in exile, Isamu is the loyal dog, it’s not degrading but more in the sense Isamu would tear the throat of every Zen’in open solely for his friend. He is no better in this term, he wishes for everyone to desperately believe so, but he can be just as violent.

So

This is my first time doing... anything here, I have no idea how it works

This will be a Bayonetta "theory" that I have

I have only played Bayonetta 2 as of now but I know what happens in the other two games so if there are things that are just completely wrong, it's probably because of that

The multiverse part is confusing

I think the reason why it is so confusing is because it wasn’t meant to exist before

But there are many different Bayonettas and while some of them are very similar (the ones from the first three games, Viola's mother and the one from the pre-prologue chapter in Bayonetta 2)

There are many differences with most of them

I don't know how the universes are created if it is explained anywhere

But I will try to have an explanation that makes sense in my silly little theorist brain

I will start by putting multiple different things that I will talk about

1) Time travel

2) The Trinity of Reality

3) How I think different universes form

4) Why are the Bayonettas from the first two games at the end of the third

1) Time travel

There are a few instances of time travel that remind me a lot of an inconsistency in Harry Potter, in The Prisonner of Azkaban, the time travelled has always existed and going back while in The Cursed Child, time travelling created new realities, it is an inconsistency because both use the same method to time travel.

In Bayonetta, there are the two types of time travel as well, the new reality one is the most obvious, in the first game, Father Balder takes young Cereza from her time and takes her to modern times and when Bayonetta takes her back to her time, a new universe is created where young Cereza is not sealed away and can open the Left Eye of Darkness.

In the second game however, it is harder to say.

Time travel has been used at least twice.

The first time when Balder was removed from his time so Loptr could get him to kill Loki.

The second time when Loki unintentionally sent both Balder and Bayonetta back (and a third time when Bayonetta and Balder came back to Bayonetta's time but it is sensibly the same)

I believe that no new universe was created then because, at the end of the game, Balder (with Loptr/Aesir within him) seems to get back to his time and initiate the Witch Hunt because of Loptr's evil spirit.

Unlike in Harry Potter, the two time travel methods are different so the consequences are too, in Bayonetta 1, Father Balder and Bayonetta are the one time travelling while in Bayonetta 2, it is because of Loptr and Loki's power over the Remebrances of Time.

2) The Trinity of Realities

When the Trinity of Realities was created, the world was separated into three, the World of Light: Paradiso, the World of Darkness: Inferno, and the World of Chaos: the Human World.

The human world is a multiverse with many different universes, but Paradiso and Inferno are not, it means that Madama Butterfly and Gomhorra for example, are unique. It is possible that the different Madama demons come from the same person in different universes, however. (This is pure speculation)

I believe Rodin is the same in every universe too.

That explains why, in Bayonetta 3, every Bayonetta we see has a pact with a different demon, Madama Butterfly cannot be everywhere at the same time (unless she can duplicate herself which is a possibility)

Although we do see the Bayonettas from the three games and they probably all have a pact with her, I will explain that in the next part.

But the important thing is, Jubileus and Aesir are probably the same too (Aesir might duplicate himself as the God of the World of Chaos but that's not certain, I'll explain it later).

And if the Eyes of the World were destroyed in one universe, they were destroyed in all of them (either because they are closely tied together or because Aesir's power over nothingness affects every universe).

So the events of Bayonetta 1 (or at least the final fight against Jubileus) only happened in one universe if Jubileus is unique.

Cheshire probably works with Viola simply because he once worked with her mother from another reality (maybe even not, maybe the Cereza we will play in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is Viola's mother, but for now we have no way of proving it that I know of and it doesn't matter)

3) How I think different universes form

Simple, and this is where I'll explain most of what I said I'd explain later, they are different branches of one original universe (maybe the Main Universe, maybe another one, it doesn't really matter, I'd say it is the Main Universe since it is the one in which the events of Bayonetta 2 take place and it would make the most sense for Loptr to stay in this one)

The more differences between the worlds, the earlier they split from each other (Viola's home universe and the Main Universe probably split off while Bayonetta was sealed away)

If Madama Butterfly has a pact with multiple Bayonettas, it is because the universes split off after the pact was made.

When was the pact made? I think it is unknown but it probably was slightly before or during the Witch Hunt.

The Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3 is implied to be Young Cereza

And she is the one making all of this a huge mess, as her reality split off when she met her older self, so she had not already made a pact with Madama Butterfly.

Or did she? No she didn't.

But it is possible that reality did not split up at this moment but later: when she decided to not be sealed away. Does this make it so technically all time travel instances were the same? Yes.

I am thinking about it as I am writing it.

I also believe that the universes started to split after Aesir gave the Eyes of the World to humanity as it is at that moment that humans had free will, also because, in every universe, the Umbra Witched exist (probably also the Lumen Sages) and so do the Eyes of the World.

4) Why are the Bayonettas from the first two games at the end of the third

I established that the Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3 is young Cereza (I will call her Cereza)

But Bay1tta and Bayonet2 (I am very creative, I know) cannot be the same Bayonetta.

The simple answer would be that Bayonet2 is the one from the pre-prologue of her game.

But why would Bay1tta wield Scarborough Fair and have her Bayonetta 1 design if she is the one we played in Bayonetta 2?

We know that we played Bay1tta in the first game because of what she says to Cereza, the same reason why we know that Cereza is young Cereza.

Simple actually, their universes split during the time between the two games.

Bayonet2 fought against Aesir, Bay1tta did not, however, both of them defeated Jubileus.

When Bayonet2 decided to cut her hair and have new clothes, that's when their universes split.

Here is my theory.

Does it make sense?

I don't really know.

This is the very first thing I put on Tumblr and it is a theory about a series I started getting into just a bit over two weeks ago so yeah, I am definitely not the most competent to be talking about that.

When/where/how/why did Sal get her doctorate

she got her ph.d in biology at johns hopkins at abt 32! she's always been obsessive about her interests and academia was a way to hunker down and study intensively on what she liked the most. i wouldn't say school was easy for her, necessarily, but she figured out how to get the grades she needed to succeed and powered through by sheer force of autism. she wanted to go into research but there were no positions available so she took an assistant teaching position as kind of a holdover til she could get something in a lab and then before she knew it she was teaching full time on a tenure track and was like oh! well. okay.

(i found the request that you missrd :3, so remember my last request where reader was kind of like pink diamond/rose quartz? (this request is more like a part 2 or something)

so imagine a few years after they escaped, and withhold a new identity, reader founds someone, someone that’s not an toxic asshole that won’t cut her out, not to mention someone who’s a joy to be around, reader took a slow-burn liking to this cookie, a lot more years later (like 9 years or something) they had a kid together, but reader had to sacrifice they’re soul jam to the child so the kid can actually exist let alone survive, after that sacrifice, the kid inherited readers powers and abilities (considering reader was overpowered when they were “alive” with the yan!beasts, you can tell it’s a lot)

after a while, the child is like 3-4 years old (their kid’s personality/mindset is a mix of little cereza from bayonetta 1 and bmo from adventure time) the kid has a mixture of both parents features and traits (50/50 split)

the kid heard stories of the beasts from the remaining parent, how REALLY bad they are, but they kid never really thought about it often, a few months later (when shadow milk cookie was released/escaped prison.. or just anyone of the five beasts) the kid was just exploring a nearby forest, till they accidentally came across one of the beasts, what would the five beasts (separately) do?

Eternal Sugar Cookie wouldn't hesitate to try and sweep the child away in an attempt to lure you out. How dare a common Cookie woo you before she ever could, and how dare they have a child with you! She'll do whatever she can to make this child love her instead.

Silent Salt Cookie would be struck by the fact that you decided to go and live a life without him. Every day he spent in his prison, hoping to see you again, and now he's forced to look upon your child, the show of your union with another Cookie. It pains him, so he might be the only one that ends up leaving.

Burning Spice Cookie would probably be the only Beast so angry he actually attacks your child. He just can't comprehend that you went ahead and loved someone else, much less someone they didn't know. He makes it his mission to crumble not only your child but your new spouse as well.

Mystic Flour Cookie would be upset and gave to stop herself from just blowing this child away. She forces herself to focus on what can be, maybe reshaping this child and making you come out of hiding. Make you rejoin the Beasts in return for your child's safety?

Shadow Milk Cookie wouldn't even hesitate to manipulate or try to control your child in some way. It more than likely wouldn't work, but he'd try no matter what. The last reminder of you that he can find, and he won't let it get away that easily

     I think maybe it should be said nearing the flirty 30's, I'm looking at role play differently then when I first did when younger. No, this isn't a omg cereza is so old, they are dying, actually I feel infinitely better now then I did back then. What I do want to say is, I don't want to hold onto more superficial relationships on the dash as my quest for more meaningful interactions stems from wanting to build relationships and know we're both in this together. I've come to just opt out of bad vibes, competitive nature, ect. I feel too it's okay to say hey, this is not my cup of tea, and break moots or just accept on certain blogs a muse will resent than on here.

     It doesn't make me bitter or upset, I know Sayuri is a hard pill to swallow, the relationships I have formed make me extremely happy but I also get when people like my other muses more than her. In some instance this post is, yeah I'm doubling down on if I get sussy vibes we just can't hang and if there is no attempt to even converse ooc wise I do feel it's better to just sb and move on. Sometimes things just happen! I guess too with life taking a bat to me last year, it really helped to sort what I want from this hobby. After five years of writing Miss Sayuri, learning to just let go of people pleasing tendencies, accept the chaotic nature of the RPC and better protect myself was a hard lesson. Otherwise, this post is just to clarify no hard feelings if things don't work out, but, at the same time, I just want to go with partners who also want to go with you.

Singularity still drives me up the walls all those years later bc he COULD'VE been an interesting and appealing villain with a cool and properly menacing powerset to fight against multiple Bayonettas and Jeannes. The thing with him being a super advanced A.I. with an army of infinitely multiplicating clones is cool as hell.

But then they had to put the phenomenal affirmation shit and the arch-eves and all that stuff and oops now it sucks balls. Phenomenal affirmation is one of the fucking stupidest powers i've ever seen. It's not reality bending it's this invisible thing that just makes him win bc yes. It's not even "he's a superhuman intelligence able to predict outcomes based on ultra-advanced math" it's a fuck you button that just doesn't work fully on the main Cereza. It drives me nuts how bad it is as an interesting power for a villain to have.

They also forgot to give him like charisma but THIS is probably the thing that makes me feel the most insane.
