Another excellent reading, Celta. IMO, Charles is a damn hypocrite in looking down on Catherine when Charles himself married a commoner (Camilla). I don't understand how Charles can be a classist snob when Charles as well as both his sons married commoners... but pretends or acts like Camilla isn't a commoner. Just baffling.
Hi Nonny,
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the reading.
Just FYI for you and everyone else:
Camilla is not a commoner. She has the aristocratic pedigree in her parents and grandparents. She does not have a title, but she is clearly 'one of us' and not 'one of them'.
Camilla's mother was the granddaughter of the 3rd Baron Ashcombe and the niece of the 4th Baron Ashcombe. Daughters do not inherit titles, so their pedigree is derived from their mother and father. On her mother's side, Camilla is solid aristocrat.
Her father didn't have a title, but he was solidly upper class. He had a good career in the army, retiring with the honorary rank of Major, and over his life he held the positions of Deputy Lieutenant of Sussex, Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex, and Exon, Adjutant and Clerk of the Cheque of the Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard. He was a partner in a firm of wine merchants, not an employee. He reviewed military books for a magazine, wrote a war memoir, and edited another military man's memoirs. He had a town house and a country house, and was a Master of Foxhounds. His half sister married an aristocrat, The Lord Howe of Aberavon, and was given a life peerage that she holds in her own right as Baroness Howe of Idlicote, That is not a 'commoner' father.
Camilla is gentry. She has the aristocratic pedigree but not the title (not until she married Charles, anyway). She is 'one of us' (aristocrats/gentry) and not 'one of them' (middle and lower classes).
So, that explains how Charles thinks of Camilla. Plus she is his wife and in his mind I think that would be enough to override any disadvantages of birth.
Catherine is solidly middle class/ upper middle class. That is a very different thing.
Edited because I missed out things in my first reply because too many people were talking to me at once in RL. :)

Harry admits he felt forced to leave the UK, not that he was forced to leave
WWW.THESUN.CO.UK
Harry admits in court he “felt forced” to leave the UK, not that he WAS forced to leave the UK. “At a hearing today, the duke’s barrister Shaheed Fatima KC said Harry did not accept that it was a “choice” for him to have stopped being a “full time working member of the royal family”.“
All the court can do is ask RAVEC to revisit its decision to deny Harry 24/7 security that is given to his brother, his father and their wives. If RAVEC says no, the court cannot force RAVEC to change their decision to satisfy the man-child trust fund brat.
Celta, I really hope Harry loses his taxpayer funded security lawsuit/s (as well the lawsuit against the ANL who reported that Harry did not offer to pay for MET security) and pay back the public for every cent he wasted on these ridiculous lawsuits. Harry needs to understand there are consequences in deciding to quit being a full time working royal.
*
Hi TeaWithBooks,
I hope Harry loses and has to pay back every taxpayer cent spent on these lawsuits as well. His entitlement, ego and lies are off the charts. His feelings are not facts, however much he thinks otherwise.
I am very pleased that RAVEC can not be forced to change their decision by the courts, and if they are forced to review the decision, I hope that a) they say No again and b) they take even more security away from Harry. I am over his petulant whining, his lies, and his massively inflated sense of self importance.
Harry admits in court he “felt forced” to leave the UK,

Five Songs
@ohhalefire tagged me (thank you!) to list five songs I've been listening to lately.
Holy (Til You Let Me Go) by Rina Sawayama - This album dropped right after I'd spent a week or so revisiting some childhood trauma and tbh it really enhanced the listening experience. I've had the whole album on repeat ever since.
Quel guardo il cavaliere...So anch'io la virtù magica from Don Pasquale - I'm trying to put together my thoughts enough to write a piece on why the use of music from Don Pasquale in Hannibal is both extremely on the nose but also deeply weird to me as someone who's done the opera, so I've been reviewing the show because it's been nearly a decade since I did it when did I get this old 😭
Cassandra by Florence + The Machine - This song is how I discovered that I get my stock sound effects from the same place as Florence + The Machine.
19sai by Suga Shikao - A fixture in the majority of my playlists. It has great vibes for most of the photoshoots I do.
D'amor sull'ali rosee from Il trovatore - The Per pietà, ben mio perdona to Tacea la notte's Come scoglio. I'm revamping my audition set, and this one and the Lucrezia Borgia arias are my Italian options.
I tag @celta-diabolica @radiowrites and @bedeliainwonderland 🖤

CELTA certificate - was it worth it?
"If you are looking for an internationally recognized teaching qualification, we have the course that is right for you," reads the first sentence on British Council’s website for the CELTA course. Internationally recognized?!?! I repeated the words out loud in amazement. I felt like I had just found the passage to a thrilling lifestyle and promising career.
“Travel and teach wherever you want. CELTA makes that possible!” someone wrote on a teaching forum. 99% of the reviews drew such beautiful pictures of what life after CELTA is that I couldn’t help but buy into that exciting narrative.
In 2018, I signed up for the course, and after four weeks of intensive studying, I received my certificate - the pass that was supposed to open doors to international classrooms.
CELTA’s reputation does open doors to international classrooms - the reviews have proven that many times - yet not everyone can cross the threshold. Wait, what?! But why? I asked one of my fellow CELTA trainees in disbelief when she broke that news to me with an apologetic look on her face. Because you’re a non-native English teacher, she said.
Many countries don't want to hire non-native English speakers as English teachers anymore. That was already true when I was taking the course. If they do want to give a chance to a non-native English teacher, the requirements, in many cases, are impossible to meet; 5 years of proven (very often continuous) stay in an English-speaking country or a university diploma - very often both of them are required. I have none of that. I lived in England for a year and studied in Poland.
But why didn’t tell us about it beforehand?! I kept pressing the matter. The disappointment raging in my didn’t let me come to terms with the harsh reality. Well, isn’t that obvious? It’s a business like any other. Your money is their salary, Kate said matter-of-factly. I felt betrayed.
Eventually, I came to terms with the fact that as a non-native English teacher, I won’t be on equal footing with native English teachers. No hard feelings, not anymore.
The ESL industry prioritizes teaching “real English” above anything else. “Real” refers to words, phrases, and grammar used in everyday life - language elements that fill up my personal non-native dictionary by, maybe, 30 up to 40%. I might know loads of words and understand grammar rules better than anyone else, but in many cases, I can only make “educated guesses” as to what sounds natural. I rarely find myself saying, “no one speaks like that.” I can’t be the judge in such cases.
Was it a waste of money in the end? Not necessarily.
If CELTA has anything to offer to non-native English teachers, it is credibility in the domestic market. In 9 out of 10 cases, recruiters get back to me.
On a personal level, I no longer feel intimidated by the coursebooks or the amount of material I have to teach. I can swiftly apply the tricks and techniques learned during the course. I also learned a few things about myself and changed my perception of the profession itself.
The confidence I gained! Truly, an amazing feeling!
The doors to many international classrooms may be closed for me. Nevertheless, the skills I learned will surely benefit students in my homeland.

10 Essential Tips for Choosing the Best Online IELTS Coaching
As the IELTS exam gains more traction, online coaching is becoming a go-to choice for many candidates. It offers the convenience of home learning, expert guidance, and abundant resources. Yet, picking the right online IELTS coaching can be daunting with so many choices. To aid you in your decision, here are ten crucial tips to help you find the best online IELTS coaching in Dubai.
Understand Your Learning Style
Before you start looking for an IELTS coaching program, it’s important to know how you learn best. Do you like watching videos and seeing graphics, or do you prefer reading and listening to lectures? Some people learn better in interactive settings with live sessions, while others prefer to go at their own pace. Understanding your learning style will help you choose a coaching program that fits you well, making it more likely for you to succeed.
Check the Tutor’s Qualifications and Experience
When picking online IELTS coaching, tutor qualifications and experience matter a lot. Tutors who are qualified and have taught IELTS for a long time can offer helpful advice and strategies to boost your performance. Seek out tutors with certifications in teaching English to non-native speakers (like CELTA or TESOL) and a strong history of guiding students to high IELTS scores.
Evaluate the Course Content and Structure
When choosing an online IELTS course, pay attention to its content and structure. A good course covers all four parts of the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. It should offer a variety of resources like videos, interactive activities, practice tests, and opportunities for feedback. Ensure the content is current and matches the latest format and standards of the IELTS exam.
Look for Personalized Feedback
Look for an IELTS coaching program that provides personalized feedback on your practice tests and assignments. The feedback should be detailed, pointing out your strengths and areas where you can improve. This personalized guidance will help you identify mistakes and learn how to do better in the real exam.
Consider the Flexibility of the Schedule
One of the main advantages of online coaching is its flexibility. Ensure that the online IELTS coaching program you choose offers a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. Whether it’s live classes or recorded sessions, choose a program that lets you study when it works best for you. Make sure they offer options like weekend or evening classes if you’re busy during the week.
Assess the Availability of Practice Materials
Practice materials are essential for getting ready for the IELTS exam. Ensure the coaching program provides ample resources tailored not only for IELTS but also adaptable for other English proficiency exams like the PTE exam in Dubai. Having access to versatile practice materials can enrich your preparation experience, offering insights and skills transferable across different exam formats. This way, you’ll get used to the test format and learn how to manage your time well.
Check Reviews and Testimonials
To gauge the effectiveness of an online IELTS coaching program, check out reviews and testimonials from previous students. Look for feedback on independent platforms and forums for unbiased opinions. Focus on comments about tutor quality, course content, flexibility, and overall satisfaction. Positive reviews and high ratings often indicate a trustworthy coaching program.
Compare Pricing and Value for Money
When selecting online IELTS coaching, cost matters, but so does value. Instead of just looking for the cheapest option, consider what you get for your money. Compare prices across programs and assess what each provides in terms of course content, tutor support, practice materials, and extra resources. Sometimes, spending a bit more on a thorough and organized program can pay off in the long run.
Trial Periods and Money-Back Guarantees
Several online IELTS coaching programs provide trial classes or money-back guarantees. These opportunities allow you to test the course before fully committing. During a trial class, you can gauge the teaching style, course setup, and learning atmosphere. Money-back guarantees offer further assurance of the program’s effectiveness.
Look for Additional Support and Resources
Seek out online IELTS coaching programs that offer supplementary support and materials to enrich your preparation. These may include e-books, vocabulary lists, grammar guides, and participation in online communities or forums. Some programs go further by offering personalized tutoring sessions, opportunities for clearing doubts, and career guidance. These extra resources can contribute to a more comprehensive preparation and help bolster your confidence.
Conclusion
Selecting the best online IELTS coaching in Dubai involves assessing various factors. These include tutor qualifications, course content quality and structure, schedule flexibility, practice material availability, reviews, pricing, and additional support. By considering these eight key tips, you can identify a program that aligns with your requirements and aids you in attaining your target score.

Under the read more, the ESC22 songs I am okay with if they win. If a song other than these wins I will bite my thumb at Europe.
Just a couple notes: I've listened to all the songs, but I've avoided watching the performances so I can be surprised tomorrow. If one of these has a flop performance or does an homage to Do it for your lover, I take no responsibility. I've also listed them in the order they will perform, not in order of preference.
Portugal: Maro - Saudade, saudade. I feel like such a stereotype, enjoying my neighbor so much, but I just really like this song. Every time it comes up on the playlist, I brighten up.
France: Alvan and Ahez - Fulenn. I like the song and I love the idea of countries sending songs in minority languages to Eurovision. I hope a win would encourage other countries to do the same.
Norway: Subwoolfer - Give that wolf a banana. I'm over Norway's PR tactics, both last year and this year. And I don't actually like the song because I feel the chorus and the verses belong to completely different songs. But I guess I commend them for sticking to the gimmick.
Italy: Mahmood and Blanco - Brividi. I don't think Italy wants to win and have to host ESC again lmao, but there's something about Mahmood that I can't and won't resist.
Ukraine: Kalush Orchestra - Stefania. I think their song last year was HIGHLY superior to this one, but I wouldn't be mad if they won since the song has a similar vibe of mixing tradition with modernity, and who doesn't love a man's tender feelings for his mom. Combined with breakdance.
Lithuania: Monika Liu - Sentimentai. I just really enjoy this song on audio alone, it throws me back to a black and white movie with a woman in a long bodycon dress. I can only hope the performance captures the vibe of the song.
Sweden: Cornelia Jakobs - Hold me closer. Cornelia sounds to me like "we have Robyn at home" but that isn't a bad singer to sound like, not by far.
United Kingdom: Sam Ryder - Space Man. Coming from a country that is on the bottom more often than not, I understand how the British feel, and I'm okay rewarding the BBC for not sabotaging their entry for once.
Serbia: Konstrakta - In Corpore Sano. From reviews I get the vibe that this performance is weird as fuck. I like the song and I'm on her side regarding her message.
Songs I like but not enough that I'm okay with them winning: Czech Republic, Romania, Finland, Armenia, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Iceland, Moldova, Australia
Who are you, I've listened to the playlist so many times and I still can't conjure up your song: Azerbaijan, Poland, Estonia
Get out of my sight: Switzerland, Germany
And of course, my opinion on ✨✨Spain ✨✨ The song just isn't very good, BUT I've been wanting Spain to send a song with Caribbean vibes for a while. (Just wish it had been Caribbean as in Birth of a new age and not as in Slo-mo but baby steps.) I am overall very happy with our entry, I know Chanel's worked her ass off, and I hope this year is the start of Spain getting its shit together for Eurovision. I also wouldn't want us to get stuck in a rut of only sending songs like these for the next few years. Would love to see a song in a minority language, or a song in the style of Celtas Cortos, Basque rock, neo rumba catalana, etc. There is SO much to choose from among our music that Europe would enjoy.
Also, if Chanel gets more than 125 points, she will beat the previous record holder which is Mocedades with Eres tú IN NINETEEN SEVENTY FUCKING THREE. So I don't need her to win. Just getting 126 points shows we're on the right track lmao.
#eurovision#esc22#warning: spain person talking about esc#also I'm sorry to the people I owe DMs to but I'm shifting into esc mode I shall return

"the possibility to use the certificate for online and in-person teaching"
tefl online pro review, submitted by Brendan. Taking into account the price and the possibility to use the certificate for online and in-person teaching, I imagine this is likely one of the best online TEFL/TESOL courses you can choose. One aspect of the course that I thought excelled the most was the customer care support. All of my emails and messages were answered in minutes or within an hour…

I'm stunned, Celta. I haven't read Harry's memoirs but read news stories on him and people's online reviews of his book on social media. So I didn't think there was anything left in his memoirs to shock me. I was wrong. Someone is reviewing Harry's memoirs and came across this line that had my jaw hit the floor. From Harry's memoir: "Meghan has as much to do with porn as granny has." Harry's lucky he published "Spare" after PP passed on because PP would be furious at Harry for this crass line!
Hi Nonny,
I missed that bit of Spare as well. That is completely the wrong image to use in asserting Meghan's innocence. If the rumours are to be believed, and I think there is some truth in them, then Meghan certainly has Harry fooled if he is defending her as having nothing to do with porn.
This could also be an attempt to strengthen the case that the actress who looks like Meghan and who is in at least one porn film is not her but an ?Italian? actress who looks like her.
That line could be one of the many reasons that the rest of the family are angry at Harry. What a revolting thing to say.

Si algún día te llaman Bruja o Brujo, no te ofendas.

-Mia A.W

Feliz noche, alma libre.
Gracias, gracias, gracias.

hardcover or paperback / rent or buy / reads in silence or reads with music / standalone or series / annotations or pristine pages (for fiction but annotations for non-fiction) / ebook or physical copy / dog ears or bookmarks / mismatched series or complete set (both is good) / cover matters or you don’t judge / lend books or keep them to yourself (favourite ones are a mine alone) / enjoys lit classes or despises them / browses shops or orders online / reads reviews or goes in blind / unreturned books or clean library record / rereads or once was enough (with a rare exception of some childhood favourites) / fanfic enthusiast (d’uh :)) or a stickler for canon / deep reader or easily distracted (depends on the book) / must read the book before seeing the movie or order doesn’t matter / has neat bookshelves or messy bookshelves / skips ahead or resists temptation / reads aloud or in your head / guesses plot twists or never sees them coming
Tagging @kmvni @celta-diabolica @stellagibsonsgirl @josy57 @lareinedususpense @bedannibal-lectaurier @khyruma and anyone else who wants to share!
