Cíaxoch and Celena, from the most recent chapter of SAMATFOE. I am so happy to share this piece with you guys, you have no idea. I'm really proud of it. And I'm so happy to share Cíaxoch and my version of Celena with you too! They're like Eclipsa and Globgor, but... smarter. And lesbians. They're a human/monster romance but the human is also a monster and they bond over their similarities. Cíaxoch is your average Septarian but if she was also an orphan who was raised by revolutionaries and likes architecture. Celena is... Celena. Half-demon, shy, potion-maker, and an aspiring runaway princess. Hope you like them!
yeah.

Collection of SVTFOE headcanons part 1?
You can use them if you want to
1. Solaria is the one who 'tied' Glossaryck to the spell book. (After reading her chapter I think she didn'o't fully trust Glossaryck [not getting involved in politics or not writing the total annihilation spell in the book])
2. Skywynne is the queen who created tapestries and the machine that creates them. (New castle, new chapter, so let's add something from ourselves.)
3. The Buttefly monarchy is matrilineal because of wand radiation? yellow magic (the one from Realm of the Magic) only girls are born, although there are exceptions. (If I'm wrong, I'm sorry: Skywynne was saying that she was happy that Jushtin would be the heir to the throne, but then Glossaryck came and said something like: Are you sure? [This is not an exact record of what was in the book])
4. Celena didn't leave the room? because she was a hybrid (her official appearance does not suggest this). (I don't know why Esterlla resembles Janna here)

5. Glossaryck taught Meteora soul eye-beam. This spell wasn't in the book. Glossaryck remembers it from one of the ancient queens.

Anyone else not see the point in having Celena the Shy’s father be a relative of the Luctors and, by extension, at least part demon?
I mean, Celena doesn’t seem to have any demonic traits and from what I remember, it didn’t seem like she had any particular connection to the Lucitors despite being an actual relative of theirs, albeit a distant one.
Pretty sure the fandom, when the Book came out, did more with this whole thing than the Book itself did, and even then, it was more just people talking about if this meant Star was part-Monster (even though the show makes it clear that Demons aren’t considered Monsters, so no, she isn’t, at least by the definition of that universe), and not really much related to Celena herself.

Do you think Rhina was a good mom to Celena?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hard to say, there's not much insight on their relationship
at worst i'd think she just didn't always fully get celena i suppose

If I had to guess:
(Warning: mentions of war, alcohol abuse, gore, and self-harm)
Celena either died in her sleep, slit her wrists, or got sick (I got the last two from other replies. She looks too young to have died of old age, and other than the dark circles, no other signs of illness, so I'll have to go with the self-harm)
Solaria was decapitated or strangled (Also, is she missing a leg? I never noticed that before)
Festiva drank herself to her death (Liver failure)
Crescenta either got mauled by a wild animal or hit by a carriage (my initial guess was the vehicle, though now that I think of it the animal was more likely
Skywynne got caught in a time paradox and died due to the results
Comet got her heart ripped out (See how it says "both figuratively and literally")
Moon, of course, died of dark magic

The Ghosts of Mewni’s Past
An attempt to expand the lore of Cressieverse.
Each Queen has a respective feast day, whether it be their birth day or or their death (whatever is more significant). On their respective feast day, the spirit of a Queen will manifest and rise from their resting place in The Constellation (also known as The Graveyard of Queens). There, one day will be given for her to be celebrated by the kingdom, with permission from the current Queen. Many queens can be born or die on the same day, thus, not all Queens are celebrated. The less popular Queens fade from obscurity, while the more well-known are celebrated and glorified yearly. And those who are forgotten would want to make sure that people will say their name once again, whatever it takes. A Queen’s cause of the death is visible on their so-called spirit, from the most peaceful to the most violent. Each shown has a different cause of death, and I wrote hints in each of the Queen’s captions. Try to guess correctly!

Hello everyone
I'm currently working on part 3 of my series with the queens of Mewni. Which is gonna be Rhina. But I'm having a hard time picking who's gonna be part 4. Because I already planned that part 4 was gonna be Moon. But then I got an idea for an analysis with Celena. And since Celena's song is gonna take way shorter to do, I think I should do Celena. But the thing is, I already planned on doing Moon. And if I don't do her's now, then it's gonna be way later in the series until I get to that specific Celena song. I'm probably already done with Celena by now (if I don't need to do any kind of editing) but I haven't even started on Moon yet. Because Moon's song is a long, convoluted, kinda hard to understand and connect to Moon Taylor Swift song. While Celena's song is a more short, straightforward, and easier to connect Arab song.

SVTFOE fandom what’s one small, obscure detail about the show you think about an awful lot for no good reason that you firmly believe no one else thinks about half as much as you do, if at all? (When I say obscure I MEAN obscure)
I’ll go first:
Comet Butterfly was probably the one who hired Dr. Jelly Goodwell as the Royal Monster Expert.
The Butterfly family probably didn’t have a “Royal Monster Expert” before Comet. Estrella didn’t care for politics or queenly duties, Celena was busy with whatever she was dealing with and also didn’t pay much mind to the Monster situation, Rhina was preoccupied with her spells, riddles, and marital situations, and Crescenta “solved” (she didn’t) the “Monster problem” with her rigged election campaign. Why would she hire a “Royal Monster Expert”?? She’s actively a horrible person, It doesn’t make sense why she or any other Butterfly would make a position to “field study” Monsters.
What does make sense is Comet designing that position in the early days of her “peace” agenda. Making an “attempt” to understand them enough so she can figure out how to go about conducting her “peace” treaty. Jelly Goodwell is very fond of separating Mewmans and Monsters from each other because “when Mewmans and Monsters cohabitate bad things happen, usually to the Monsters.” If we go off my theory that the Mewman-Monster Accord Moon signed into law reflects (or basically is) Comet’s treaty, then the separation statement makes sense.
Even if the title of “Royal Monster Expert” existed for a while, Comet without a doubt (in my mind) hired Jelly Goodwell. If she’d been “studying” monsters her whole life like she claims, then it makes perfect sense that she was hired back when she was young. Comet would be around her age if she was alive so it only makes sense that Comet was the one who hired her and designated the position. And, again, bringing back her treaty, if Comet and Goodwell worked together in any way, then both of their agendas being separation makes complete sense. Comet hired someone to “field study” Monsters, Goodwell reported back with her findings, and Comet conducted her treaty and dealings with monsters accordingly.
Comet has always just given me the same vibes Goodwell does; they’re like glass reflections of one another. On the surface they look like they actively want to help actually make progress for the impoverished and colonized monster citizens, smiling and playing nice, but patronize them as literal animals (see Comet’s FAMOUS “beast of the forest” line and her patronizing of Seth and Batwin’s wife… or just read her chapter holy shit), refuse to take any of them seriously as equals, and think separating them from Mewmans is the best call.
(To clarify because I feel this being brought up: NO, I’m not saying Goodwell influenced Comet and am now taking blame away from Comet. No, if anything Goodwell’s “angle of research” was probably thrust upon her by Comet (think a “Dr. Goodwell, why don’t you study their mannerisms and habitat so we can communicate with them on their level” line from Comet), and Goodwell reported back with the agenda she was sent out with. If anything, those “findings” only reaffirmed and strengthened Comet’s established bias. I’m not one of those people who take away accountability from the queens because I think they were “influenced” Comet is pretty stupid already 😭)
