Mutant Action will be released on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray on April 25 via Severin Films. The 1993 sci-fi black comedy is known in his native Spanish as Acción Mutante.

Álex de la Iglesia (The Day of the Beast, The Oxford Murders) makes his directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with Jorge Guerricaechevarría (Celda 211, The Day of the Beast). Antonio Resines, Álex Angulo, and Frédérique Feder star.

Mutant Action has been newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative with Dolby Vision HDR and Spanish Dolby Atmos audio. Special features are listed below.

Que casualidad el actor JUAN JOSE BALLESTA famoso x su debut como EL BOLA y por ganar en SAN SEBASTIAN una CONCHA DE PLATA como mejor actor por 7 VIRGENES.. fue detenido el martes dia de mi año 52 junto a la Estacion ESPERANZA (MADRID) por algo un poco absurdo como es enzarzarse con un conocido a las 8 de la mañana robarle 50€ y la cazadora.. Segun informa GLORIA LOPEZ jaja

Por cierto.. 7 VIRGENES (cuyo titulo creo que no tiene ningun sentido con el argumento) la co-protagonizo el sevillano JESUS CARROZA (=viejo para algo tipico de joven) q fue un tal ELVIS en la pelicula CELDA 211=DURA NAVIDAD para los CIRCOS POLITICOS, RELIGIOSOS E IDOLOS.O.S.
