Taking a day off of practice for the first time in quite a while after experiencing some issues with my hand, due to excessive practice. Well, I wouldn't call it excessive, but I suppose the normal human would. I appreciate the help and advisement from my professors @nolanddave and Pat Burns on this, quite frankly, very scary situation. What better way to celebrate National Saxophone Day by not playing saxophone.. 😑 Lesson of the day, and of a lifetime, listen to your body! Be well friends. It's been almost two months since I started my masters at @njcu_woodwinds and Im very pleased at where I am currently. Digging everything at the university and all the wonderful students & staff/musicians I've been working with and have had the pleasure of meeting. I must say, I'm loving every moment of this experience, even when I'm stressed, because I know the stress is pushing me to be greater. Anyway, let's all keep pushing through the sh*t. Just me being bathed in instruments. Hopping out of my comfort zone (clearly) and about to jump to Mexico for a week, and then upon my return, a day later back to South Korea. I am an introvert, but if you look at my social media, I'd imagine you'd have no idea. I have a plan and I'm very happy to have a really great family with me to make it seem like everyday is a normal day, even when it is far from it. @jaketavillmusic , @willbug_music @jenfajardo , and of course bio fam. 💗 I'm also extremely excited for the opportunities that await me in both wonderful and beautiful countries!
