THANK YOUUU!!! YAH he's a goofball, i really love him though! I actually have a backstory for him (shocker) but a lot of it involves his 'lil crew im designing! I have like.. 3 out of the 6 fully designed! + their little villain/antag that bugs them too! (excited to draw her I have her stand designed but not the user fully yet!)

AND I changed his stand's power so I'll make a new sheet for his stand Hex.. I wanna get his toyhouse all set up with all the info so I'll prolly say when its all nice n pretty for those who are curious to read abt him!

He's a Jojolion oc! I think though his story is gonna take place in like, maybe 2023 morioh but he doesn't interact with the main characters like at all so it can take place at any modern-ish time really! (plus i like to keep it loose cos i love drawing him with my friend's jojo ocs huhu)

meeting jo's eyes on that implicit question, he forced a miserable little smile. "right. i guess it is different, then." he looked down, heart aching in a way he'd been fighting for an awful long time. "things ending like this, makes me feel like maybe you had the right idea." he stared towards his glass, eyes focusing on nothing. "getting dumped when you thought you'd found the one, finding out it's your fault... it feels pretty bad, honestly."

jo nodded, expression almost solemn. "when you're ready to get back out there, you might want to be careful with tinder." she had a couple of stories there, but figured if he wanted to know, she'd asked. she sipped her drink glanced at his friends again. "it's good you have them." she was thinking about herself, how she'd essentially left her support system in california because she didn't want to deal with the fallout of friends having to choose between her and her ex-husband in the divorce. it didn't seem fair. he'd been there first. hopefully she'd find a few more confidants here...though that would probably require putting herself out there.

she couldn't help but smirk. "well," she stirred the ice in her glass just for something to do with her hands. "i wasn't married for love, so i think it's probably a little different." she gave him a look, the question hanging unasked between them. did you love your ex? she loved her ex as the father of her son and as a friend and confidant, but her love belonged to another. ironically, she was in the same state as that person now. funny how that worked out.

back when i was in the hamilton fandom, i just didn't get why people shipped lams (john laurens/alexander hamilton). like sure irl they were an item (probably) but like! laurens is barely in the show, he has no canon personality and the fanon one sucks. anyways i shipped hamilton and burr instead lol (i still do lowkey)

K - What character has your favourite development arc/the best development arc?

ooh, this is a tough one, i'm not sure. i really like cecil's progression throughout the whole show, going from a government yes-man to standing up for change and not trusting the government blindly multiple times. it's lovely to see people be changed by the ones they love, because i'm certain that without meeting carlos, it wouldn't have been as easy for him to change :)

john doe malevolent ; do i even need to say? he's like. my blorbo-est blorbo. he's done absolutely wrong in my eyes. he's fucking fantastic, he's stupid but he's also really smart! i relate to his lack-of-humanity-yet-still-trying thing very much. i like mostly because i feel like he does most of time.

ty betteridge WOE.BEGONE ; ty betteridge the man you are !!! i went from not caring about him to hating him circa s7 and fell in love with his character during season 9 when outlaw!ty became a thing! mostly i like him a lot because of clinical he is with his friendships, but like it's not a façade that's just how he is with everyone

aziraphale good omens ; outlier because he isn't a podcast character (but he is technically an audio-drama character) but aziraphale has my whole heart. from collecting books to indulging in food to always trying to save everyone, he's just sooooooo. i love him very much.

conclusion? i like characters that are functionally me

OKAY OKAY….. i am going to do their relationships because that’s what i have been brainrotting over today lol (also nb goes by they/them in this au ahsjsksksk)

so so so, to start with, how did nb (named cecil in this au lol) become an archon?

quite simple! venti overexerted itself during the fight against decarabian. when good ol deccy finally perished and the tower exploded, venti used all its energy to make a shield to protect its friends! so everyone lives!!!

unfortunately though this has very very bad consequences and cecil has to watch their little friend begin to fade. but before they finally pass, they transfer their energy to cecil, wanting to be with them rather then rejoin the wind.

so cecil becomes a candidate for the gnosis :). (please note i am completely bullshitting venti’s powers here. we have no idea what they could do as a wisp and i will be forever angry at that.)

celestia has…. a tense relationship with cecil. the only reason cecil took the gnosis was because “if no one else, i will” (i actually wanna make a comic about their receiving of the gnosis because wow! that’s a lot of angst!)

also cecil absolutely Despises celestia despite being a god now. they are very open about it, and that leads to celestia threatening them Quite Often. there are many times venti is almost taken from them, and once cecil almost loses the wings they have during a confrontation. (also wanna make a comic about this and will probably start one soon 👀👀).

okay okay now onto their relationships!

the red haired warrior (aka ragnvindr as we will call him XD) and cecil have… not so good a relationship. while ragnvindr understands the reason behind cecil’s decision to take the gnosis, he does not respect it. he’s terrified that the power will get to their head (when cecil is just Trying To Get Through It.)

so after making sure mond is up and running without any problems (amos and gunnhildr forced him to), he…. leaves. without saying goodbye.

gunnhildr and cecil have a. have quite the relationship. they are very very uncomfortable with the worship gunnhildr gives them and keeps their distance. she respects them a lot and would defend them like her life depends on it, and cecil is just…. not about that. they try to work it out but it does not succeed and their relationship remains “work only.” (cecil only comes to her for archon and mond stuff.) (although 👀👀 perhaps this changes at one point via amos intervention 👀👀.)

now amos!!! surprisingly, amos and cecil are very close! at first she was uncomfortable with the idea of another god, especially one that she had considered a friend or comrade beforehand. but seeing cecil is scrambling to adjust to normal life and archon life, she realizes that maybe…. this time can be different, and tries to help (in an awkward and subtle way lol.)

they become like siblings over time!!! cecil mostly comes to amos for a majority of things, and it’s rare to not see them hanging out in some way XD.

venti is still a little wisp in this au (surprise surprise! they aren’t still dead! cecil brought it back.) they become a little assistant to cecil, and even becomes the “leader” of the thousand winds (in reality cecil trusts venti the most out of the other wisps so when they ask venti to do something, the other wisps just follow their lead ansjsksk.)

after amos and gunnhildr pass, cecil goes into hiding for a while, and recedes into something of a hermit XD. the thousands winds keep them company and they all become good friends :’)).

cecil remains in hiding until venti forces him to go meet zhongli + the other archons, and the rest is history!

(also istaroth is quite interested in cecil 👀 she honestly didn’t expect they would become a god, and keeps trying to pick at their brain.

they are…. acquaintances? cecil tolerates her existence to an extent lmao.)

the excitement at their shared heartbreak maked cecil grin in spite of himself. "how'd that happen? sharing a cat?" he leaned over to look at the picture, smile widening at the sweet little creature. "i don't know if i could do it. maybe it'd be easier with a few years difference, i don't know." he took a deep breath. "not easy readjusting your life when you had all these... plans."

at the question, cecil checked his phone, pensive. "i'm on 70%. benefits of getting stuck on my workplace, i guess." his eyes find the fast food bag. "though i guess in a way we both are, huh?" he grabs another fry. "if you've got time to kill you can plug it in at my desk and hang out for a while. once we're free from this tiny steel prison." he looked around. "eventually..."

"they sure do." privately, he thought his dad had done more of a number, but theo couldn't help but echo cecil's chucke with one of his own. "wait, no way, me too!" he jabbed his thumb into his own chest and thought about caroline even though he was trying not to do that so much anymore. "well, a couple years ago, actually. and then i ran into her in town here and now we're sharing a cat." he shifted to sit cross-legged, elbow on a knee and cheek propped against a fist. "that's not a euphemism, by the way. it's a real cat." he showed cecil his lock screen, which was currently a photo of the orange tabby dozing on top of a penguins jersey. when he pulled the phone back, theo's forehead wrinkled. "my phone's on eight percent. how about you?"

cecil had been absolutely lost in a podcast, doing the dishes and forgetting about space and time (as one does). the buzzer felt like whiplash, as he was transported out of the world of legal conundrums and he looked around his miserable, empty kitchen. he grabbed a teatowel and dried off his hands as he walked to the door, opening and feeling his stomach drop when he looked into dahlia's face.

the seconds felt like an eternity as she stumbled through her words. "oh," he managed, standing dead still. "i didn't realise. uh - where is it?" he didn't know how to be normal about this, and it seemed he defaulted to being casual. he stepped back to let her in. all that mattered was he didn't convey any emotions, and then everything would be fine.

dahlia had so many moments on her way to cecil's place to turn her ass back around and text him. let him know she's coming, like a normal person would do. but something about that felt official. like, if there's no text message proof that she chose to go to his place, then maybe she can pretend it never happened. not logical. but a thought she was clinging onto like a lifeline as she hit the buzzer. she counted in her head the seconds before he pulled the door open, trying to look way more nonchalant than she actually felt. one. two. three. four. 'oh god- why didn't i fucking text?' five. six. seven. eight. as soon as the door opened she looked up, her heart in her stomach as she realized that now she got to see the authentic reaction to seeing her across his features. she smiled, a couple of beats passing before her voice box pulled its shit together. Thank you so much, it's very much appreciated, especially lately!! ;u;/ As for the mobsters, I definitely want to draw them again, I just need to find some ideas to involve them on their own or with my OCs...
