need batteries. For my cd player. I dont think it can play burned CDs though… does anyone know a decent quality cd player that can that is like. Under 100 dollars and doesn’t sound like hot garbage

Some of the used ones have enough that they skip on some songs

it's crazy to me that we had such a huge vinyl resurgence when CDs are superior in just about every meaningful way. they're small and therefore much easier to store, they're usually pretty inexpensive, and they let you play a full album front to back without having to move anything around, which allows songs to flow pretty seamlessly into one another
