After some prodding from a few people, I have decided to set up a kofi. For the past several weeks, my cat has been very sick. I took her to the vet, but after spending almost $600 we still don't know what's wrong. They wanted to run another test, but I can't even afford the $80 food they want me to put her on, let alone $300 for more tests. Even if it's not much, every little bit would help me right now. I've been so stressed and worried about her and my finical situation. She's been my best friend since I adopted her a decade ago, and I just want her to feel better. :(

Here is the link, and I truly do appreciate anything/everyone who is able to help. It's been a hell of a move to a new city, and now with her sick, I don't know what to do.

Hey everyone! I know I've been quiet for a while now, but since it's now December, I wanted to express how grateful I am for all the support I have been given this year. This year has been uniquely hard for me, recovering from poor surgery last Dec, finishing grad school (and student loan payments looming), moving to a new state, Fiddlesticks becoming sick and passing, having a revision surgery to try and fix the one from last year (and still recovering from the revision). I've felt like I've lost so much this year, and it's just been really rough. Still, I am so happy to still have the people I do here and the handful of good friends I have made through running this blog! It means more to me than I could ever say!

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! 💜 I want nothing more than for everyone to have a better 2024, and we hear news about V10. ;)

Almost a month after completing my internship, my professor finally submitted my grade! So, as of today, I have finally officially got my Master's degree!

Hey, everyone. I wanted to let everyone know I've had to make the hard choice to euthanize my cat. She is on her third day of throwing up everything she eats, and at this point, she won't even touch some of her favorite treats or wet food. She's acting like even moving from her bed to get water hurts, and I can't keep hoping she will get better. She's been up and down for a month now, and when I made the donation post, she started a HARD spiral down and didn't know.

I haven't touched any of the money donated to me as of yet, and if anyone would like theirs back, I would be more than happy to do so. I did as for the money to help her. If people are comfortable with me keeping it, I plan to use it for the fee for the at home care, and/or adoption fee for a new cat when I am ready. (As Fiddle was adopted to be an ESA for my PTSD).

I'm truly touched by everyone who donated, or reached out to wish me well. It has made a terrible situation so much better than I could have hoped. Thank you all for all your support during this terrible time. 💜

It's been a hell of a move, but as of yesterday I finally got a new bedframe (lost part of the old one in the move :,)) and feel like my room is ready to decorate. Please enjoy the one wall I have done so far.

I would like everyone to meet Kali! My partner and I spent all of Friday and Saturday going to different shelters, and we found her at our last stop. Any money I got that didn't go to Fiddle for her end of life care, went to Kali's adoption fee and a new cat tree since Fiddle's old one is too unstable. When she's not been exploring my room, she's been asleep so long as she can touch me and/or my partner. Think she's a really good fit for us and should help some with my PTSD.

I just wanted to update everyone that the vet came yesterday, and Fiddle can now rest. The vet who came said she seemed like other patients who had cancer diagnosis, and if that was what was going on, there was nothing I could have done. It's bitter sweet, but she got to go with me and my partner giving her love, and eating a slice of Swiss cheese.

Terrible picture (and obviously not everything I have), but I'm going to start taking stuff off my walls for my move next week, and I DREAD the process and having blank walls.
