"More than just a good friend?" Shoto repeated, he was surprised. While he appreciated the gesture and honesty, he had to do the same in return.

"I'm sorry, Tsuyu," he replied, no longer referring to her by hero name due to how personal the conversation went. "As I am now, I don't think I'd be a good boyfriend."

He wasn't exactly saying no, but giving Tsuyu a heads up to minimise her expectations of him being a good boyfriend, because he was focusing on himself and hero work so much. Then again, they were in a similar situation when it came to hero work, but that kind of compatibility didn't come to mind yet.

A Lot of Care [Shoto & Tsuyu]

“Yeah, I know. I care about you too, Froppy,” Shoto replied with a slight nod.

They were patching each other up after a joint patrol together, where they quickly took down a villain with their teamwork, Shoto had just used his ice quirk to work as an ice pack against one of her injuries.

“How do you feel?” he asked her, to check that he was applying the right temperature to help.

“Yeah,” Shoto agreed, voice muffled with his pyjamas stuck over his head. He gave himself one more minute to try on his own, if he kept going he may end up freezing or burning it, it was not worth damaging because of his own stubbornness.

“Please,” he spoke. He put away his pride for the moment, Enji was merely there at the right time is all. If things escalated further, he’d have to end up helping him more. Despite his distance, he had a little empathy for his old man. Taking the burden of being the top hero and their family drama, he had to give him credit for not running away or lashing out like he used to.

Shoto while still not spoken the words of forgiveness to his father, got along with him more than ever lately. What he did to him and by extension to his family was unforgivable, no matter how much he had tried to atone for it lately. While at first he was using Enji to just to get stronger, he knew it was beneficial for them as a family to bond closer.

“Yeah, I can do that myself,” he replied shortly once he was put to bed. Shoto was being stubborn despite resting some while he was carried back there, but at least if he was struggling so much he hurt himself, he’d allow Enji to help him.

“We’ll set things right with him. Dabi is our problem after all,” he reassured him with determined eyes as he got changed. Though in the end he was really struggling to put his pyjama top over his head, his arm muscles aching in pain by just lifting them.

If he had not been so stubborn, cruel and fixated on himself, things might have been different. Rey wouldn’t be in the hospital, his eldest son wouldn’t be a villain in a terrible state right now, his middle son wouldn’t be so full of hate, and his daughter wouldn’t have to work so hard to get their family together. And Shoto wouldn’t get that burn… But maybe none of the kids would either. No. He has no excuse. Enji knew this very well. So he hoped to disappear from the life of his family when everything was over. He will help them, but will not burden them in the new life.

Enji watched as Shoto struggled with his pajamas and realized that he was unlikely to succeed on his own. But he was in no hurry to help himself. If Shoto asks, he will do it. He didn’t want to be too intrusive.

“Yes, it is. I hope we can arrest him without harm.”

Shoto still struggled with his pajamas.

“May I help you?”

Lost Then Found [Shoto & Momo] @anchoredstowaways​

this was a training exercise, and they were not our of the woods yet. almost.. literally. the mission was to get back to ua within a certain time frame. one they were pushing quite tightly. the watch on her wrist continued to tick down the hours they had left and momo sighed, biting down on her bottom lip.

this wasn't the first time in an exercise she was letting shoto down. during their finals prior to acquiring their hero licenses, the both of them had been paired to go against mr. aizawa. and in that training, she once again had relied too much on him. was this her weakness? ... was he?

Shoto was impressed at the training exercise simulations as of late, they were pushing on more realistic missions to keep them on their toes, which will get him that much faster and further towards being the hero he wanted to be.

Being one of the rare few that did not get his provisional hero license with the others, Shoto could relate to the feeling of letting the others around him down, especially with them having high expectations of him from the start. They both showed growth during the team fights against class B, but to him, Momo showed the most improvement along with her increased confidence in her abilities and leadership.

“I see, I will mark where we walked with a line of ice then to help with your compass. We will know if we went around back in circles, how much time do we have left?” Shoto offered before checking on their time limit. Depending on Momo’s answer, he was prepared to speed up their movements with his ice and fire as boosters so they got back on time.

Todoroki was walking home after school, already under his black umbrella when he noticed a schoolmate walk into the rain without one, then slip into a puddle too. The old him wouldn’t have cared less and walked on, but at least now he understood the basic principle of being a hero, to help anyone in need.

“Are you alright? Here, grab my hand,” he offered. With the umbrella now covering them both, he extended a hand over to Emi to help pull her up back to her feet. “You shouldn’t be out in the rain alone like this, so I don’t mind walking you home”, he added once he helped her.

she was only walking back to the dorms after class. sure it was slightly later than normal, but it also wasn't even yet past dusk. dark eyes look over her shoulder at the voice that calls after her and momo's lips parted for a moment, before turning up into a smile. " it's only back to the dorms, todoroki. but i suppose some company would not be so bad? " she pauses to smile and waits for him to catch up. " thank you. "

Shoto noticed that Momo was later than usual leaving class, so decided to wait for her. It was just with the recent escalation of villain activity lately, he couldn’t help but be cautious. “Yeah, I know, and I know you can take care of yourself too. But there is safety and company in numbers I suppose,” he admitted with a faint smile in return. But that aside, it was nice to not walk back to the dorms alone and so he took the chance to converse with her too.

Rain was maybe seen as something of a hindrance to some people and Ochako sometimes had to agree with this thought. But not today - today, it was good that it rained, particularly because the recent days were rather hot. So she immediately opened the window of the common area of Heights Alliance.

But she had barely sat down for a minute before she could hear Bakugo complaining and she shrugged him off. "It's just a little rain! The flooring will survive it! Besides, it was really hot the last few days so this is refreshing, don't you think?" But from his expression, she could guess he really didn't think so.

The week was warmer than usual, so it was a relief that it started raining today it was worth the cool down that everyone needed. Despite Bakugo being more angry than usual during the said week, he didn’t calm down with the weather change, actually he got even more frustrated.

Hinata tumbled to the floor after tripping in her hurry to get to the bus. The fall was slightly painful but she slowly tried getting up. "I guess I wouldn't have been able to catch the bus anyways," she muttered before seeing a familiar green-haired boy. "Oh!" Was he catching villains here? "I-I'm okay. Nobody attacked me!" she reassured him. (For Deku) @bloomingtalent​

“Hey, are you alright?” Deku rushed over to the girl that tripped, as it looked like she was trying to catch the bus that just left too. “Yeah, I know, you were trying to catch that bus, correct?”

Izuku Midoriya was on patrol for potential villains and dangers, but he couldn’t help but go to others in need too. “Where do you need to go? I can take you there!” He offered with a reassuring smile, though still wondering if it was okay to in the first place while he was working, since he was technically still helping someone as a hero so...
