End of the Han Dynasty
On the 10th of December 220 CE, Emperor Xian of Han was forced to abdicate by Cao Pi, which ended the rule of the Han Dynasty over China. This act was the culmination of 31 years of Emperor Xian of Han's reign over China, from 28th September 189.
By Gary Lee Todd - http://www.garyleetodd.com/chinese-museums-online/luoyang-6-horse-chariot-burial-tomb-museum/, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=4918196
In 184, during Emperor Ling of Han's reign, the writing was on the wall for chaos upon his death given the corruption of his reign. In 188, one of his advisors, Liu Yan, claimed that the cause of agrarian revolts that were happening, such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion, which was a peasant uprising in 184 CE, so he suggested that Inspectors should become Governors that had more authority, including the ability to command the armed forces and levy taxes. Liu Yan became one of the Governors, which was a continuation of the corruption and heavy taxation that was a hallmark of Emperor Ling's reign.
As Emperor Ling became ill in 189, he had two sons who'd survived to adulthood, Liu Bian and Liu Xie, who had been raised by foster parents to attempt to prevent the continuation of his sons not reaching adulthood. One was born to Empress He Lingsi, the other born to Consort Wang Linghuai. He refused to make a decision between his sons. Because of this, there was a power struggle when he died between supporters of his sons. One supporter, a eunuch, meant to kill Empress He's father, a general, but when he found out, he proclaimed his 13 year old grandson emperor, making his daughter regent for him. Liu Bian became known as Emperor Shao.
As a result of the assassination attempt, General He plotted to exterminate the Ten Attendants, eunuchs who enjoyed great power under Emperor Ling. His daughter, Empress Dowager He, disagreed with this action, which led General He to order a warlord to march on the capital at Luouang to make her change her mind. The eunuchs found out and assassinated General He. The companion of General He summoned, Yuan Shao, went on a rampage and tried to kill all the palace eunuch, regardless of whether they were involved in the Ten Attendants or not. Those that survived kidnapped Emperor Shao and his brother.

Dong Zhuo, the warlord General He charged with infiltrating the capital found the boys (13 and 8 at the time). The emperor was anxious while the prince was calm and ordered Dong Zhuo to return them to the palace. Dong Zhuo took the opportunity to take over and he poisoned the emperor and replaced him with his brother, who became Emperor Xian. Dong Zhuo set himself up as 'Chancellor of State' and then granted himself the 'privilege of attending court without needing to disarm himself or remove his shoes'.

Spring of 190 saw a coalition rising up against Dong Zhuo, charging him with kidnapping Emperor Xian and usurping the throne. Yuan Shao was selected leader of the coalition, though the coalition was rather disorganized and afraid to actually confront Dong Zhuo, so the position of leader was basically in-name-only. Dong Zhuo, however, was spooked and moved the capital to Chang'an, then a month later, forced Emperor Xian and the rest of the court there and for the old capital to be burnt down.
In 191, the coalition resisting Dong Zhuo tried to put Liu Yu, who was a member of the royal family's clan, on the throne, but he declined because he was loyal to Emperor Xian. With the continued disorganization of the coalition, Sun Jian, a general under Yuan Shu attacked Dong Zhuo near Luoyang and scored several victories, forcing him to retreat back to Chang'an. The coalition didn't push their advantage and eventually disbanded. The rebellion did give several members the idea to rule over their own territory as kings.
The uprising caused Dong Zhuo to become crueler in his unofficial regency. Dissent continued to simmer, though, even including Dong Zhuo's foster son Lü Bu, who was having an affair with one of Dong Zhuo's maids and held a grudge against Dong Zhuo over an episode when attempted to murder him. Lü Bu and Wang Yun, the interior minister, led the assassination of Dong Zhuo and the rest of his clan in 192.
Wang Yun was set up as regent because he was considered level headed, but power went to his head and he failed to keep on the good side of those who helped him get that power as well as not granting amnesty to those who survived that were part of Dong Zhuo's reign, leading them to become nervous that they might be massacred. This fear caused them to rise up and revolt against Wang Yun and they eventually took control of Chang'an and executed Wang Yun.
The remainder of Dong Zhuo's army were very self-serving, so various warlords rose up and took control of various provinces, though they paid lip service to Emperor Xian as they do. In 195, Emerpor Xian was allowed to go back to the old capital of Luoyang, but then his captor-regents regretted that decision. They were unable to recapture him. The devastation wrought by Dong Zhuo, though, left those who were left at Luoyang starved to death. A tug of war between high ranking officials of the territory near the capital as to whether they would accept the emperor or not.
By Wang Qi (1529 - 1612) - A copy of w:Sancai Tuhui, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=10217506
Cao Cao, a warlord and poet, took advantage of this indecision and brought Emperor Xian to his territory in 196. He was a minor warlord at the time and in 196, he led a campaign of both conflict and diplomacy to gain control over Emperor Xian and used the authority of the emperor to move the capital to Xu within his territory. He was respectful to Emperor Xian, but ruled for the emperor.
Because of the preceding chaos, there was a severe lack of food and money, so Cao Cao sent soldiers to farm under- or undeveloped land. The harvests were sold between the military and the people. Because this was successful around Xu, it was adopted further out. Cao Cao sought to reunite the various provinces of China at the time, though it was complicated by things like an affair Cao Cao had with a widowed aunt of one warlord.
In 197, Yuan Shu, a warlord who opposed Cao Cao, declared himself 'Son of Heaven', basically emperor, an act of treason against the Han dynasty, which caused other warlords to attack him and those who had alliances with him to break them. Yuan Shu tried to flee to join Yuan Shao, but his way was blocked and he ended up dying of illness in 199.
In a bid to gain control of Emperor Xian in 198, Yuan Shao tried to get Cao Cao to move the capital to Juancheng, closer to his territory, but Cao Cao refused. Cao Cao also joined forces with another warlord to attack Lü Bu. He captured Lü Bu and executed him, which gained Cao Cao more territory.

Yuan Shao defeated another warlord in 199 at the Battle of Yijin and the defeated warlord committed suicide by fire. This expanded the Han dynasty nominally, but the territory was under Yuan Shao. Yuan Shao used this victory to turn against Cao Cao directly. By 205, though, Cao Cao had conquered all the Yuan held territories. By 207, there were three kingdoms under the empire of China, Cao Cao's, Liu Biao's, and Sun Quan's.
The next 13 years were a continuous push for each of these territories to expand their holdings, including an alliance between Liu Biao and Sun Quan against Cao Cao, which was eventually broken in 219 over seizing of food supplies and building resentments.

In 220, Cao Cao died and his son Cao Pi inherited his title, taking it before Emperor Xian could officially grant it. That winter, Emperor Xian sent his Imperial Seal, the symbol of his power, to Cao Pi, and issued an edict that he was abdicating. Cao Pi tried to decline, but he eventually accepted, officially ending the Han Dynasty. Former Emperor Xian was granted a ducal title.
In 221, Liu Bei declared himself emperor and Sun Quan declared himself separately in charge of the state of Wu, more commonly known as Eastern Wu, in 222, then emperor of Wu in 229, thus officially starting the Three Kingdoms era.

Had a random headcannon pop in my head while reI watching some episodes of The Nanny. Mostly that I one hundred percent see Medusa Reader and Shao or Reiko having a similar dynamic to Niles and CC, mainly where Niles always insults CC and CC tries to get him back, but Niles always comes out on top. In this case Medusa reader is Niles and they had this dynamic long before she was turned into her current snakey state. I especially like the idea of her calling Shao and Reiko dogs because of the "war dogs" saying. So I just imagine when Shao calls Raiden scrawny if Medusa reader had been there she would have made a comment like "Oh don't be jealous, you can still lose weight to fit back into your debutante dress." Or if she was with some people getting a tour of a really nice room in the palace and the person goes "How do you manage to keep this room so beautiful?" she basically just replies "because they have a childproof lock on the door so Shao can't get into it." Stuff like that.
First off, always a pleasure to hear from you again. Heads up, I don’t watch that show so I don’t understand everything. That being said, that basically fits well with Medusa!Reader and Shao😆 In my head, they’ve always had beef no matter the timeline. To Y/N, Shao is a brute who acts before he thinks. Although, I’d imagine insulting Y/N is a bit hard to do when she had to bandage him up countless times during his early career.
General Shao: You wouldn’t last a day as an Outworld soldier!
Y/N: You’re talking to the same person who once has their hands buried elbow deep within you trying to stuff your guts back in.

A small molecule that clogs up ribosome machinery
This publication highlight is part of the SBGrid/Meharry Medical College Communities Project, focused on science education and demonstrating how structural biology and preclinical science connect to medicine.
Ribosomes are essential molecular machines in the cell. They create proteins through the translation of RNA into an amino acid sequence. This process of translation is an important topic of study for molecular and structural biologists because of its vital role in maintaining life and the proteome. The production of the full proteome is essential for life and any variance or interference in the process could lead to drastic consequences. Because of this, the study of how small molecules and drugs interact and influence the ribosome is an ever-present question for structural biologists and medicinal chemists. In Nature Chemical Biology, SBGrid member Dr. Susan Shao from Harvard University, shows the unique effect that a small molecule, SRI-41315, has on the ribosome.
Ribosomes are made of many different protein and RNA units. The process of creating amino acid chains from an RNA transcript is highly dynamic and requires the timely introduction and removal of a library of participating molecules in the translation symphony. One of these molecular players in translation is eukaryotic translation termination factor 1, eRF1. This protein binds to the ribosome subunits and aids in the termination or conclusion of the translation process. eRF1 helps the ribosome read the translation instruction, the mRNA, and helps the ribosome know when to stop and remove the finished amino acid chain. The small molecule SRI-41315 has been known to degrade eRF1, but the mechanism for this degradation was unknown until Dr. Susan Shao and colleagues proposed the following using cryo-EM and molecular assays:
Pictured above is small molecule SRI-41315 (gray) interaction with eRF1 (green) and RNA (orange) in the ribosomal complex. PDB:8SCB. CC BY SBGRID
Using electron microscopy at cryogenic temperatures, a technique known as cryo-EM, Dr. Shao was able to create a model of eRF1 in complex with a ribosome with SRI-41315 bound. In this model, SRI-41315 was shown to act as a glue in the machine. This small molecule locked eRF1 into a specific configuration, limiting the dynamic process of translation. By gumming up the ribosomal machine, SRI-41315 increased eRF1 degradation and affected the machine's ability to accurately produce functional proteins. The ability of this small molecule to indirectly slow down and effect the efficiency of translation is a very compelling observation and provides evidence for the wide array of functions small molecules can have in living systems.

Wait, is there a pronounciation guide for tsubasa names? Cuz like i have my own ways of pronouncing it while reading but ive no idea if im right lol
Japanese pronunciation is pretty simple, especially compared to English (which is my native tongue and haha a hot mess). We’ll go through the family.
One rule is that each syllable in Japanese is pronounced with the same amount of emphasis to it, unlike a lot of the Germanic and Romantic languages (there might be exceptions but this is very beginner stuff). Each vowel also always sounds the same - “a” = “ah” (like ah-ha) “e” = “eh” (like meh) “i” = “ee” (like in eel) “o” = “oh” (like in oval) and “u” = “oo” (like in coo).
Sakura - the CCS English dub of the 90s and many Americans that I know pronounce this “SAH-core-uh” and they are wrong - you would say her name “sah-koo-rah”.
Syaoran is a little different because his name is based in Chinese. He also has a similar problem to Fai where there are many spellings. The correct way, though is “shao-rah-n”. The “ao” make a sound similar to “ow” but not exactly. I would describe it as rounder?
Fai/Fye/Fay/whatever. The katakana used to spell his name, which is meant to be foreign spells it Fai. This is one of the few times vowel sounds will “change”. If you have “a” + “i” you get a sound like “eye” as in eyeball. So you would say “feye”.
Kurogane has the longest name with the most syllables and it’s be “officially” butchered. “KER-oh-guh-ney” is not the correct way to say it. “koo-roh-gah-neh” is.
Mokona usually only suffers from people putting incorrect emphasis since her name is pretty simple. “moh-koh-nah” all nice and easy.
If I’m wrong about any of the rules for Japanese pronunciation please tell me, I am by no means a fluent speaker, I just took the time to do my best to learn how to say the words I saw.

Unobtrusive chemical purchases online are a remarkable idea enduring that you're on a tight spending plan and the compound that you truly need for your science investigate or other endeavor aren't open at your close by store. The best spot to get them is through an electronic retailer.
Buy Albiflorin chemical
Albiflorin is a striking Chinese person is a fundamental part that has been viewed as a key fixing in Radix Paeonia Alba that has been used to treat ruin issues since the hour of a long while previously. Regardless, the part that drives the upper properties of albiflorin isn't totally seen.
Albiflorin is a uniterpene glycoside, which is the standard fixing in Radix paeoniae alba that is used in conventional fixes all through China, Korea, and Japan. Radix paeoniae alba is generally known as Peony, which is the place of assembly for Paeonia lactiflora Pall, which is head for such Ranunculaceae. Assessment chemical compounds are purchased through a furious technique. In any case, as such a few electronic stores that are certifiable and trustworthy are available where you can buy chemicals online.
The root is among the fundamental pieces of a few standard formulae including Jiaweisinisan similarly as Dang Gui Shao Yao San that is proposed for treating inconvenience related issues. One of these adornments, monoterpene glycosides, for instance, albiflorin and paeoniflorin are routinely seen as the truly original constituents of the peony. Audits have shown that both short and huge length relationship of albiflorin could make all things considered, vague outcomes to antidepressants as shown by a decreasing on schedule of immovability found in the starter of obliged swim tail suspension on mice, and something as opposed not really settled tension started a decrease in sucrose use in rodents. Albiflorin is furthermore associated with goliath energizer impacts, which are excitedly connected to enhancements in hippocampal 5-HT levels and BDNF verbalization that takes after the ordinary upper SSRIs. The monoaminergic system and the receptors that albiflorin targets are unidentified.
Monoterpenoid compound
Albiflorin is a monoterpenoid compound that has a nuclear Formula of 23H 28O 11 and a standard sub-nuclear store of 480.46. The Albiflorin nuclear improvement is fanned out by Formula (I). Albiflorin is a working plan that is isolated from the root from Paeonia lactillora Pall, Paeonia veitchii Lynch in like manner as P. Suffrsticosa Andrz in the Ranuculaceae plant. Albiflorin has a lactone-ring shape at any rate it doesn't have the hemiacetal structure. This understands that it is changed into two blends, paeonilactone An and paeonilactone B under anaerobic conditions.
Consistent examinations in pharmacology recommend that Albiflorin is torment assuaging, anticonvulsant, narcotic impacts, immunosystem-related benefits, smooth-muscle-related effects, quieting impacts, rehearses against pathogenic microorganisms, the liver's guarded effects. To the degree clinical use Albiflorin is used on an exceptionally essential level to treat Epilepsia and nonattendance of pain, recuperation from reliance on cures and treatment for dazedness, the treatment of joint irritation rheumatoid equivalently as treatment of bacillary the runs, as enteritis, treatment for viral hepatitis, and treatment of weights related to age nearly as the weakness to fight the flocculation of normal liquid rot and barium. The cycle used to make Albiflorin and its application for the production of clinical
