Changes introduced in CBSE Class 12 Computer Science examination 2024

Central board of secondary education has made an important announcement regarding changes in the Class XII computer science syllabus. These changes will be applicable in the 2024  board examinations. This notice is very important for the students who have opted computer science in class XII. Python questions will also be asked in the 2024 examinations. Recently, CBSE has announced that the Python questions that are going to be asked in the exam will be optional. That means the students will have a choice to either attempt the C++ question or Python question. The CBSE Class 12 Computer Science examination will be on 28th March 2024.

To make sure that the students can prepare well for the computer science exams. The board is going to issue the question papers for python and C++. CBSE made a clarification that the schools were directed to introduce the changes in the class XII computer science syllabus for the 2024 examination but they misunderstood this message as a circular for class XI students.

Therefore, it is advisable for all the students to carefully read the official notifications for CBSE Class 12 Computer Science examination and get prepared for the exams. The class XII board exams will start from 15th February and will continue till 3rd April 2024. The exams are going to be conducted in the morning time. The exam will start at 10:30 am and will continue till 1:30 am. The date sheet is available on the official website of CBSE. CBSE has changed the passing criteria for the X class students. From now on, students need to secure 33 percent marks combined in both theory as well as practical to be declared as pass.
