Day 15
Today was an eating day, and although I didn’t keep track of my calories like I should have, I don’t think I ate too off plan!
Maybe a little over calories if I’m completely honest.

I had meetings with outside marketing programs at work today and they were nice enough to bring Greek food for lunch. I had grilled chicken, rice, hummus, and a very small piece of pita bread. 
For dinner we met up with some of our closest friends at a great Sushi restaurant. This is where I probably ate too much! Between me and the hubby, we ate at least 7 different rolls! 
I didn’t break my fast at 8:30pm like I usually do because we found these delicious mochi ice creams at the grocery store on our way home! I had 4 of them. They’re about the size of an Oreo. 
I started my fast at 10:00pm. 
My big issue with Day 15 was that I didn’t drink enough water! I had 24oz at work, some hot green tea at the Sushi restaurant, and then a sparkling water when I got home. I’m definitely feeling bloated and uncomfortable today (Day 16) because of it!

Day 14
2 full weeks! Well...if you don’t count that I broke my fast after 25 hours last night to eat a burrito! Again, I feel so unbelievably guilty!
Yesterday was day 14, a fasting day. I made it through the day just fine until my husband had us go to Top Golf with some friends. I didn’t eat anything at Top Golf but caved and had a Cafe Rio Burrito at like 10pm at night. 
I even tried on bathing suits before I went to Top Golf, that should have been motivation enough!

The husband and I are going on an 8 day cruise with our friends in 5 1/2 weeks. I will undoubtedly look like a giant pumpkin on the trip, but I was hoping to get as many pounds shed before hand as I possibly could!

Day 13
I weighed myself this morning and I’m down to 268.8!
That’s a total of 11.2 lbs lost in a little under 2 weeks!
Even after having a weekend slightly off plan, I am continuing to see results and that makes me so happy! Also, I’ve decided I’ll weigh myself on Monday’s and Friday’s. I can’t seem to wait a full week for some weird reason.

Today was an eating day!
I started my morning off with some of the peanut butter muffins I posted yesterday. I took 2 of them to work with me along with 1 tbs of raspberry jam, totaling 377 calories. 
For lunch I had the remainder of my low fat chicken salad and gluten free crackers totaling 465 calories.
At dinner I had a big bowl of Chicken Enchilada Soup and half of a big Caesar Salad totaling 540 calories. 
And then right before my fast at about 8:00pm I had some Provolone Cheese, Pepperoni, and Breadsticks for another 310 calories. 
My day ended at 1,762 calories consumed, which was even slightly under my calorie budget!
ALSO, I’ve finally taken my measurements so I can keep track of those as well!

Arm: 17.5″

Day 12
Today was a fasting day and I stayed strong! 
My dad took me and my husband out to breakfast this morning, and I was almost about to order a lemon-basil pancake when I decided to just drink coffee and stick to my fast!

I haven’t quite made it to my 128oz (1 gallon) of water for the day, but I have had 96oz plus 3 cups of black coffee, so I’m calling that a win! 
I meal prepped for my eating day tomorrow. I’ve made some peanut butter protein muffins that are 166 calories each and a big batch of low fat chicken salad for lunch. 
I don’t know if I’ll weigh myself tomorrow morning since the weekend was so off plan. We’ll see how I feel in the morning!

Day 11
Today was an eating day, and I know I said I would stay on track...but my dad came to visit! He lives all the way up in Washington and I’m currently in Utah, so we had to go get brunch and show him around the town. 
I started my day eating at noon. I had chicken and waffles with breakfast potatoes, but I drank a lot of black coffee and water to go along with it. 
I then ate again at 7ish and had a big turkey sandwich and a cinnamon role. I have no idea how many calories I consumed today, but I’m pretty sure it was more than my 1800 calorie goal. 
Tomorrow is a fasting day and as usual, I started fasting tonight at 8:30pm. My dad is taking us to breakfast tomorrow morning so I chose a restaurant where I love their coffee selection so I’m not tempted to eat anything!
Tomorrow I’m also making myself go to the gym after I drop my dad off at the airport. It will be a great fasting week, I know it!

I broke my fast!
I feel so guilty about it. Day 10 was a fasting day and I made it through 22 hours without anything but water, and then I ate a big delicious burrito.
I’m back on track today though! Day 11 is an eating day and I will drink plenty of water and stick to my 1800 calories. Sunday is a fasting day and I will stay strong! I have no doubt that I will enter the 260′s next week! 
Maybe it would also help to give you my stats...

Day 9
Today was an eating day! I woke up feeling incredibly lean and couldn’t help but step on the scale. I’m now 270.4 pounds, my lowest weight yet!

I broke my 38 hour fast today with a GIANT apple that was 95 calories. I swear, when you’ve been fasting apples taste like candy! 
For lunch I had some delicious homemade chicken salad and gluten free crackers. The salad was 335 calories, the crackers 130 calories, and I even had 2 oatmeal cookies for 120 calories. So lunch was a total of 585 calories. 
Dinner was a big bowl of chicken dumpling soup and a giant Caesar salad, totaling 520 calories. 
The husband and I decided to go see Bohemian Rhapsody tonight, it was amazing! I had about 500 calories left over for the day so I took 4 more oatmeal cookies, a few ginger toffees from Ikea, and a serving of salt and vinegar almonds. I also drank about 80oz of water today, a little less than my normal gallon. 
Today my total calorie intake was 1810 which is right at goal!

Day 8
Hello world! 
My name is Claire and I’ve decided to commit one full year of my life to Alternate Day Fasting to hopefully better my health and lose weight. I’m currently on day 8 of my fast, but better late than never! 
I weighed in at 280 on my very first day.
Within 5 days I had lost 9.2 lbs and was down to 270.8!
But for the last 3 days I’ve been fluctuating between 272 and 274. I don’t get it!
I need to stop weighing myself every day and only weigh in once a week, otherwise I’ll start driving myself insane. 
I fast every other day from anywhere between 36-40 hours. Then I allow myself to eat up to 1800 calories for 10-12 hours. I drink at least 1 gallon of water on my fasting days. I can’t believe it’s already been 8 days! 
I’m going to buy myself a measuring tape so even if the scale doesn’t move, I might start to see inches lost!
I’m going to start posting daily photos here along with a log of what I’m eating and how I’m feeling. 
I hope you’re ready for a year full of adventure (and hopefully a 100 pound weight loss)
