the dabihawks bachelorette au is the only true mha canon to me and I mean this completely seriously in that I literally thought a major plot point from that fic was fully canon to the extent that I used said plot point as the rationalization in my brain for a certain plot point in a DIFFERENT fic

A LOVELY TOUCH┊ISAGI YOICHI
✮ summary. meeting his parents and being in his room for the first time allows you to get to know another side of isagi that you hadn't discovered before.
✮ tags. (18+), established relationship, unprotected sex + creampie, fem reader, petnames, sex toys, praising (that’s my girl), spit, dirty talk. divider creds: cafekitsune.
✮ wc. 4.3k

Isagi's room is just as you had pictured it in your imagination. The walls are decorated with soccer posters, of some anime with rather colorful characters and of some soccer players you vaguely recognize from having seen them on your phone. The bed is impeccably made, with a navy blue bedspread that matches the two pillows perfectly lined up on top. Next to the bed, a nightstand holds a stack of comics and manga that you fail to identify until you get close enough. In front of the bed, a wall-mounted television is connected to a playstation, ready to be used.
The room, in general, is surprisingly tidy, almost too tidy to be Isagi's. The thought that he probably cleaned neatly because he knew you'd be staying over tonight brings a smile to your face. Throughout your relationship, you had always met at your place or at the hotels he stays at when you visit him out of town, so to be here, in a space that is entirely his, sends a tingle through your stomach that stirs the hunger of your curiosity.
As you flip through the monochromatic pages of one of the manga, you hear the sound of his footsteps approaching down the hallway. The floorboards groan under his weight, and your heart pounds, as if you've been caught doing something wrong. A smile spreads across your face as you see him standing in the doorframe, his silhouette blocking the light coming in from the hallway, giving him an almost cinematic air.
Isagi mimics your smile, mirroring it as he closes the door behind him and steps into the space you now share. It is at that moment that you notice the subtle scent of sandalwood wafting through the air, permeating the atmosphere. The room, completely enclosed and with thick curtains blocking the outside light, has maintained this scent throughout the day.
"What do you think, then?" asks Isagi, with a slight tension in his voice that makes you wonder if his heart is beating as fast as yours.
Isagi's parents turned out to be even more charming than you had imagined. His mother insisted on adding another dish to dinner, even though you had offered to cook for everyone; she even offered to help you wash the dishes, while Mr. Isagi and your boyfriend continued chatting in the dining room a few feet away.
The feeling you are left with is one of warmth and comfort, like a warm blanket wrapped around you after a long winter's day. And that's what you're trying to express, albeit in a simpler, less corny way.
"…I'm happy to have finally met them," you conclude sincerely.
Isagi, who has just hung up his jacket in the closet and is now wearing only a shirt and dark sweatpants, walks up to you and wraps his strong arms around your waist. With the manga completely forgotten, your hands find rest on the back of his neck, and out of instinct, you start stroking his hair. Isagi visibly relaxes at your loving touch.
"'Yeah? I think they really liked you, I was nervous," he says, laughing softly.
"Really, you thought they wouldn't like me?" you tease as Isagi closes his eyes, enjoying your touch.
"Quite the opposite. I thought they might like you more than me," he replies, meeting your eyes again, causing a sparkle to tingle up from your belly to your ribs.
"Your mom is so nice, and your dad is so cool. I think it's adorable how they support you."
It's obvious how proud they are of their son, how far he's come. That was reflected in every topic of conversation they had tonight and in the way their eyes sparkled at the sight of him. Deep down, you're relieved to have their approval, too.
"I had no doubt they would like you. My mother loved the dessert you made too, you're cooking so much better every time."
Isagi guides you towards the bed, interrupting the conversation. He lies down first and invites you to join him with a few pats on the mattress. You crawl onto the bedspread, which stays perfectly in place despite the movement, and lie comfortably on the arm he has extended for you.
"I'm gonna stay all weekend," he says, playing with the silver "I" dangling from your neck. Your eyes instantly light up, and Isagi struggles to contain a mischievous smile that threatens to appear at the corners of his lips.
"You hadn't told me," you murmur, controlling the excitement in your voice. "I thought you had to leave tomorrow."
"'Yeah, I wanted to surprise you." His fingers fiddle with your collarbone and the line of your neck as he says it, only to finally focus his full attention on you.
He watches your reaction closely, delighted that he got this reaction in person, knowing it wouldn't be the same if he'd told you about it over the phone. Then, he leans toward you and kisses you softly on the lips, a fleeting kiss after which he doesn't pull away, allowing you to become drunk on the fresh, woody scent that surrounds him.
"We could go out tomorrow, maybe invite your parents over again and…" you start to suggest, but Isagi interrupts you with another soft kiss that instantly makes you close your eyes. Your hand rests on his chest, feeling his heart dance against his ribs, as his palm rests on your waist.
"I'd love the idea, but right now I don't wanna do anything but hold you close."
The physical contact instantly ignites your skin, and the tone of his voice alerts your senses to what might be coming. But you're still curious to explore more of his space, so you add, "Your room…" he chuckles, probably guessing what you're going to say next. "It's very organized."
"Does that surprise you?" Not really, but the attention to detail does. Everything looks impeccable, you know he's put a lot of thought into it. "I've learned a few things about keeping my place in order with Barou."
"Oh, yeah, you guys were roommates before."
"Uh huh. He wanted to kill me when he found my shoes where they were not supposed to be, or my jacket on the couch when I got home late from training."
You laugh at the mental image of an angry Barou chasing Isagi with his shoes in hand around the apartment, though you remain aware of Isagi's touch, of how his fingers gently trace lines on the skin of your stomach, which your now somewhat disheveled top reveals.
The room is enveloped in a comfortable silence, broken only by the faint whisper of the fan on the ceiling. You've settled into his chest, with his heartbeat providing a steady, soothing rhythm that almost lulls you to sleep. Yet your eyes roam the room with a newfound curiosity, lingering on details you had previously overlooked, as if you want to unravel a little more of what this space can reveal to you about him.
Near the door, the closet remains ajar, revealing a glimpse of its interior. The shirts are lined up with almost millimeter precision, but it's the bottom corner that captures your attention. Between a pair of worn sneakers and a backpack that has seen better days, a cardboard box with worn corners peeks out, partially hidden.
Your curiosity piqued, you sit up slightly, trying not to disturb the moment.
"What's that?" you ask quietly, pointing to the box with a slight nod of your head.
Isagi follows the direction of your gaze and sketches a shy smile, as if you've found something he'd forgotten. "Oh, that… it's just a box with some old things, souvenirs and such."
His answer is simple, but his tone piques your interest even more. You slide gently from his side, the mattress emitting a slight creak under your weight as you stand up. " Can I see it?" you ask, wariness mingling with growing curiosity.
Isagi chuckles softly, shaking his head with a mixture of resignation and amusement. "Sure, but there's not much, really."
You make your way to the closet and kneel down in front of the box. You carefully pull it out, surprised by its unexpected weight. You place it on the floor in front of you and, as you lift the lid, a rush of nostalgia seems to flood the air.
Inside, you find a variety of objects: a pair of soccer tickets yellowed by time, photos of a younger Isagi alongside friends you don't recognize, and a scarf of his favorite team, still vibrant in its colors. There's a small trophy, probably from some school competition, and a keychain that looks like it was purchased on his first major trip away from home. Each object seems to be loaded with history and meaning, as if they were pieces of a puzzle that together reveal the essence of who he is now.
Your fingers stop on one photograph in particular, where a teenage Isagi smiles broadly, holding a ball with his hand raised in victory. Beside him, a childhood friend embraces him with the same energy. The happiness on his face is so genuine that you can't help but smile too.
"This is adorable," you say, holding up the photo so Isagi can see it from the bed.
He gets up and comes over to you, sitting down next to you on the floor. "That was a good time," he comments, his voice laden with nostalgia as he takes the photo from your hands to look at it more closely. "We won that match by sheer luck, but it was one of the best days of my life."
Your attention is diverted to another object in the box, a small notebook with worn edges. You delicately open it, finding inside scribbles, small drawings and notes that Isagi probably wrote when he was a teenager.
"You've kept all this for how long?" you ask, fascinated by the amount of memories he's accumulated.
"Since forever, I think," he replies, laughing lightly. "I'm not one to usually hold on to the past, but some things are worth keeping. I like to remember them from time to time."
You close the notebook and put it back in the box, feeling like you've just discovered a side of Isagi you may not have been fully aware of. As you do so, something else at the bottom of the box catches your eye. It's the thick edge of what appears to be a red book. Curiosity leads you to slide your fingers along it and pull it out for a better look. The objects on top offer resistance, but without giving up, you manage to pull it out.
"Oh," Isagi murmurs as you realize that it's not a book you've pulled out, but a stack of magazines that, under the light of the bulb, reveal their true nature.
"Yoichi?" you ask, covering your mouth with your hand to contain the laughter bubbling in your stomach while at the same time showing the magazine in his direction.
"Fuck." His cheeks flush red, and you've never seen him so nervous. Immediately, he tries to snatch them from you, wrestling you with the box in between.
"Let me see them!" you laugh, louder this time, enjoying the rare sight of seeing him so distressed.
"Stop, it's embarrassing! Don't open them!" he insists, desperate, as you try to wriggle away from him, the porn magazines now scattered around you.
In the struggle, his foot buckles and he loses his balance, falling on top of you and crushing you to the floor. Your hands are trapped above your head, imprisoned, and the magazines fall open, revealing their stained pages beside you.
" Can I explain?" he says, his voice trembling between embarrassment and nervous laughter.
"Well?" you ask, biting your lip to keep from laughing again.
You watch him as he struggles to find the right words, finally giving up with a sigh. "It was a gift from a friend."
"And you kept them?" you ask, arching an eyebrow in disbelief.
"Well, yes…" he mumbles.
You laugh again, not because you're judging him, but because seeing him so grief-stricken over something he tried to hide, but which is really no big deal, is adorable. It's rare to see him in this state of vulnerability, and you can't help but enjoy his discomfort a little. Your laughter grows with his fingers starting to tickle you, and your eyes fill with tears as you beg for mercy. Finally, Isagi pulls away, sitting back on his heels, victorious as the air from the fan ripples his hair.
"It's okay, check them if you want. I'll go pee, but don't touch anything else until I get back," he says, his voice tinged with faux authoritarianism.
His words only fuel your desire to explore more. You sit back down, the magazines now forgotten on the floor, as you scan the room for something else you might discover. But finding nothing that captures your attention, you momentarily give up, remembering that you probably have missed messages from your mom asking how dinner went. Your phone, deep in your pocket, had died halfway through dinner.
"Babe, where's your charger?" you yell, heading for the nightstand. You open the drawer and what you find is more than you expected. It's a treasure trove, exactly what you were looking for to piss him off even more.
"Fuck me," Isagi mutters from the doorway, his tone a clear sign of resignation.
"A fleshlight?" you exclaim, completely shocked. There's not even any intention of joking now. "I didn't think you were the type to use toys… I thought you didn't like them."
Isagi advances towards you quickly, but you hide it behind your back just in time. He stops, measuring his next steps.
"It was a joke," he explains, his voice laden with embarrassment.
"What kind of joke?" you ask, genuinely curious.
Isagi shakes his head, trying to organize his thoughts. "The guys thought it would be funny. It was a 'joke' because… well, because I was a virgin and stuff. Now, give it to me."
Isagi takes a step forward, but you step back, finding yourself pinned against the bed.
"Did you use it?" you ask, your eyes full of genuine wonder as you try to keep your cool.
Before you can run away or have time to react, Isagi advances towards you with the speed and precision he only shows in the field. His eyes, tinged with a deep blue full of determination, bore into yours, revealing an expression you have rarely seen, a mixture of defiance and desire. Effortlessly, he manages to lay you down on the mattress, his weight taking you prisoner as he reaches for the object hidden behind your back. He teases you again with tickling, and new tears of laughter form in your eyes.
"Fine! Fine, I give up! But first…" you say with a chuckle, noticing how he raises an eyebrow tentatively, as he pulls away and is completely seated on top of you, you notice small beads of sweat forming a crown on his forehead. "I need to know if you've used it."
Isagi licks his upper lip, his heart beating rapidly. He shouldn't feel embarrassed, but there's something uncomfortably intimate about admitting it in front of you, as if crossing an invisible line.
"Yes," he replies simply, his voice barely a whisper.
"Thinking about me?"
The room is plunged into a thick, tension-laden silence. Isagi looks at you, his eyes roaming over every detail of your face.
"Yes," he confesses, his words full of honesty. You lick your lips, struggling to keep your breathing under control.
"What were you thinking?" you ask, your voice low, barely audible in the charged atmosphere of the room.
Isagi takes a moment before answering, his eyes scanning yours for any clues. Finally, he leans in a little closer, his face close to yours, and in a barely audible whisper, he answers you.
"I was thinking about you… riding me, then me fucking you sideways, toying with your clit. Fuck, I remember it so clearly," he says, his voice deeper, charged with a mixture of desire and vulnerability you've never heard before.
The confession leaves a shiver running across your skin, and for a moment, the air in the room seems to grow thicker, heavier. His words, so simple yet so loaded with meaning, make you feel a mix of emotions. All you can do is look at him, contemplate this man who has somehow become so essential to you, so intimately tied to your life that imagining a future without him seems impossible.
"I want to see you use it…" you whisper, your words full of desire, stripped of any trace of teasing. The question hangs in the air, waiting for his answer.
Isagi takes a shaky breath, and you can feel his hips push against your abdomen, letting you know exactly what he thinks about the idea. The tip of his nose brushes against yours in an intimate gesture, but then he stops, reluctantly pulling away.
"Okay…" he sighs with resignation. Though you lick your suddenly dry lips now, and silently moan at the loss of his warmth when he pulls away, your skin begins to tingle with anticipation. Before you, your boyfriend peels off his shirt in one fluid motion, dropping it carelessly to the side. The sight of his naked torso, bathed in the soft light of the room, makes your heart pound, building anticipation and tension in the air.
"Do you have any lube?" you ask, your tone anxious, straining to keep your eyes fixed on his and not on the noticeably tight bulge under his boxers as he finally strips out of his pants.
Isagi gives a slight nod of his head, gesturing towards the bedside table. "If you'd looked a little harder, you would have found it right next to that… thing."
A smile tugs at your lips as you hear him refer to the toy that way, reminding you that, while he's not completely comfortable with the idea, he's willing to experience something new just because you've asked him to. Quickly, you lean over to the nightstand, pushing aside the charger and other items, until your fingers find the bottle of lubricant. You take it and return to bed with excitement pulsing through your veins.
Your legs are folded and wedged between his thighs. You watch anxiously as he holds himself with his hands on the mattress, his back slightly arched back. The sight of the tangle of hair peeking over the edge of his boxers distracts you for a moment, intensifying the desire growing between you both.
"Take it out," you ask, flashlight in one hand, lube in the other.
"You take it out, I thought it was you who wanted to play."
The response makes you bite your tongue, so he was going to make you work for it, you conclude. Good. You set the objects aside and ask him to lift his ass up so you can fully pull his boxers out of him, his free cock bouncing gently on the spot. He was completely hard and you want to tease him about it, comment to him that if he doesn't like the idea so much why is he so hard, but you know he's been thinking about it probably before dinner and that, if he were to toss your panties aside he'd realize you were just as needy so you let it go for now. Just for your own good.
It throbs as you feel your determined hand approach with the bottle of lubricant. You drop a generous amount at the tip, watching as it slowly slides to the base, its viscous texture catching the dim light of the room. Deftly, you reach for the liquid just before it touches the mattress, catching it with your fingers in a precise gesture.
Isagi shudders under your touch, a tremor running through his body more from the warmth of your touch than the coldness of the lubricant. The sticky sound of your hand sliding up and down now accompanies the soft murmur of the fan, creating an intimate symphony that fills the space you share.
You stroke him just a little before taking the toy, Isagi grunts as you press it to the tip, he thrusts his hips up to receive you when you finally slide it down disappearing his cock completely. You dare to give it a few pumps, taking note of every reaction.
"How does it feel?"
"Good," he replies with his eyelids half drooping and his jaw clenched.
Tentatively you give another deep thrust, the lewd sound of the toy filling the room with its wet, provocative echo. Then, you pull it out completely, and you can't help but watch as his cock drips pre-cum mixed with the lube, creating a tantalizing gloss on the tip. Isagi moans at the lack of attention, his voice laden with need, but it doesn't take you long to re-wrap his cock with the plastic, resuming a rhythm you know he loves.
"You're doing such a good job…" you murmur, fascinated as you watch him lose himself more in the moment, clearly surrendered to the pleasure you're giving him.
You liked it, you must confess. The power it makes you feel to see him like this, it was just like when you were masturbating him, he could reason, but for some reason there's something different about using a toy in between, the whole new scenario has you in a thick cloud of frenzy, your movements speeding up, determined to make him cum. His brow furrows, his lips part.
"Yes? Do you like being in control?" asks Isagi, his voice husky with a mixture of curiosity and desire.
You just mumble something inaudible, caught between the intensity of the moment and the proximity of his body. Before you can add anything else, however, Isagi rises, his movements fluid and confident. His hand slides to the back of your neck, gripping it firmly as he draws you closer, his lips only inches from yours, like a promise of an approaching kiss. "You like fucking me?"
"Yeah… fuck, I wanna watch you cum."
"Do it. Fuck me harder, cmon. Use me."
With both hands on your cheeks, he traps you in an intimate kiss, a heady mix of lust and love. His lips move urgently over yours, his tongue tangling in yours as his teeth gently punish your lower lip. Isagi's moans grow louder, each one charged with desire, as he inevitably nears climax.
"I'm not cumming…" he growls. "Not anywhere else but in your pussy."
Before you can react, Isagi takes your hand firmly, pushing the fleshlight aside. With a fluidity in his movements, he gently lays you down against the bed, his body pressing against yours. One hand rests on your neck, the touch warm and reassuring, while the other descends to your clit, caressing it in slow, long circles. The air becomes thick with anticipation and desire, each brush igniting your senses and leaving you breathless.
"No more games." The determination on his face is exhilarating, it has you throbbing and clenching around his fingers stretching you.
In a moment, Isagi gets rid of your bottoms and underwear and spits on his hand to wrap his cock with saliva, his hips exerting weight on your thighs open you wider for him and then you feel the tip part the walls of your pussy, your mouth opens slightly.
"There's nothing like this pussy."
Then, with one precise movement, Isagi slides inside you, so deep it takes your breath away for an instant. The sensation fills you completely, eliciting a choked moan in your throat. He doesn't move fast, but begins to roll his hips, creating a friction that makes you shudder. At the same time, his fingers continue to torture your clit in slow, deliberate circles, sending waves of pleasure that make you arch your back, letting the moment consume you completely.
"I'm almost there… but I need you to cum with me," he gasps.
You can only nod in desperation, begging him wordlessly to keep up the pace. But, without warning, Isagi pulls out, wrenching a frustrated moan from you before you can protest. With almost ruthless precision, he flicks your clit with the tip of his cock, drawing an unexpected cry of pleasure from you. Then he lifts your leg, placing it over his shoulder in a new position that allows him to go even deeper. Without further warning, he begins to thrust hard into you, the rhythm now brutal, as if he is determined to bring you to the edge of your orgasm. Each thrust is a promise broken and fulfilled at the same time, a movement that seeks both his release and yours, as you feel yourself collapse in shared ecstasy.
"There's nothing like this fucking pussy," Isagi murmurs between clenched teeth, his voice laden with desire as his lips land on your heel with a sweetness so intense it leaves you breathless. The contradiction between the brutality of his thrusts and the tenderness of his gesture makes you feel dizzy. "Lets cum together, baby."
His words sound like a request, but his raw passion, along with the strokes that spread throughout your body, feel like a command you can't refuse, even if you wanted to. Your back arches, and an electric current runs down your spine, tangling in your insides and exploding in an explosion of colors like fireworks. A few thrusts later, Isagi is chasing you, cumming inside you as he showers you with praise and how good you always are to him.
"That's my girl, there you go," he says sweetly as he kisses your throat, moves up to your jaw and concludes on your lips with tiny kisses that he scatters all over your face, tickling you.
"Stop!" you laugh as he gently bites your cheek for the sole purpose of teasing you.
"Don't run away from my kisses, c'mere!" Isagi squeezes you against his arms, from which you can't escape, as he continues to shower you with kisses and nibble you gently in every corner he can reach with his teeth. He doesn't stop until you surrender in his arms and kiss him back as you tousle the sweaty strands of his hair.
"Let's take a shower and go to sleep," you murmur sleepily. "I'm exhausted."
"Yeah, let's do that," he says, giving you one last kiss on the lips as he squeezes your cheeks.
"Maybe we can use the toy aga—"
"Don't even think about it."

Yandere hitman squad
Introducing the Boss
——|———-|———|———
Yandere Boss who’s known as a lazy sleezebag that makes the squad carry more weight than needed. He can never be bothered to do anything that he deems as tiresome and is often just chilling in the background. However, when it comes time to flip his ON switch that’s when he truly starts making boss moves.
Yandere Boss is a closeted Otaku of anime. Having shelves upon shelves of figurines, mangas, and unopened collector items. As well as walls covered in iconic wall tapestries of his favorite characters. Along with a secret closet filled with cosplay costumes that’s yet to be touched.
Yandere Boss that happens to go to AnimeCon one day in a shady disguise silently admiring the authentic cosplays and merch. Until something caught his eye which was you in the most glamorous mouth watering homemade cosplay that left him gasping for breath and leaning up against the wall as he tried to calm his pounding heart from how fantastic you looked.
Yandere Boss who immediately became a fan. Lacking the drive to part the Red Sea of cosplayers flocking to you like a bunch of fruit flies he settled for admiring you from afar following your every move from a short distance as he began snapping photo after photo, and even taking videos of his newfound cosplayer crush that he’s becoming absolutely obsessed with like it was love at first sight.
Yandere Boss who gripped his phone screen so tightly that it cracked from him spotting two losers harassing you now that you were in a somewhat secluded area. With a long drawn out raspy sigh he retreated from the wall’s corner and came out the shadows behind you.
Yandere Boss that tentatively slithered his lean arm around your shoulder towering over you with his tall lanky frame. Peering down at the two creeps with a deadpanned expression like they were nothing but sad insects as he taunted them with an disgusted sneer. Insulting the two harassers, his sharp tongue automatically cursing them out calling them gross dickless losers and disgraces to the anime community all in one. While flipping them a slender manicured middle finger painted black as he told them to fuck off since you were taken by him.
Yandere Boss who purposely made a whole scene causing everybody to collectively to look his way and ridicule the two offenders despite his inclination to being under the attention of the masses as he was doing this all for his lovely little cosplayer. He had a look of smugness on his face, seeing the two fools be escorted out by the security for trying to commit disrespectful acts at the convention. But in the end he got a tad overwhelmed from the attention thrown his way and began sweating a bit under the pressure.
Yandere Boss who couldn’t help but feel his social battery burning out at a fast paste due to the cheers of the crowd awarding his smartarian actions when to be honest he was just acting out on his own selfish impulses since he couldn’t stand those filthy losers touching his newfound idol he was going to worship for the rest of his days.
Yandere Boss who damn neared almost suffered a heart attack when his sweet idol saw his dilemma and guided him swiftly away from the crowd that chanting how much of a chad he was. Grasping onto the arm he slung over their shoulder with their soft hands. He couldn’t help but become stiff like a robot as his face flushed his natural tired aloof features with splotches of a rosy red on his pale skin.
Yandere Boss who’s lungs got caught in his throat as you spoke to him with your adorable voice continuously thanking him. He watched you intently as you paused for a moment to ask if you could give him a hug noticing how antsy he was with the the attention that was focused on him. Saying no words he opened his arms invitingly tired eyes now sparkling full of life as if he’d just received enlightenment from god while he nodded frantically to the point where afterimages of his bobbing head could be seen in 3 different layers.
Yandere Boss who fist pumped himself in victory after you gave him your number and left the scene. He was feeling faint with a rush of endorphins flooding his senses from the interaction. Relishing in your sweet scent that covered his clothes, he vowed in his head that he’d never ever wash these clothes that were touched by his adoring idol. He was already picturing them framed up in his closet to commemorate this beautiful moment in his life.
Yandere Boss who’s your number one fan and supporter for life, and will always be sure to disregard his duties if only to fawn over you like the crazed fan that he is.

Hi! Could I be ✨Anon? (Im not sure whats been taken already) I've been on a big Batfam kick these past few days and have a v indulgent request if it interests you.
Could I request something for a (gn) civilian reader who is friends w/ the Batfam, but recently got superpowers that are magical girl-esque? Neither of the parties knowing of the others Alter Egos. Here are some of my thought, but write the post however you'd like.
Reader was accidentally caught up in some commotion that involved stealing specialty cargo. One of them being an alien artifact, and reader uses it in desperation to save themselves. But now they have these sparkely, pretty, and showy powers that they never asked for. (And maybe a magical animal companion that insist they bring light and justice to Gotham)
Reader is reluctant to be a vigilante, but keeps finding themselves in situations to help people anyways.(Maybe its a side effect of being a magical girl) They end up fighting alongside the Batfam at some point, but they feel embarrassed to interact w/ them. Reader feels completely out of place with their colorful and over-the-top powers when next to the cool and brooding batfam.
Sorry if this idea is a bit out there, but ty for letting me be indulgent in your ask box 💕!!
NO CAUSE I FEEL THIS DYNAMIC SO MUCH.
I either have the friendliest vibe or the bitchiest vibe and no in between. Meaning that people either come to me for everything or think I’m a snob/will bite-
and sure non! i don’t really keep track of my anons nowadays so people can be whatever as long as it’s not listed in my pinned
BAT X MAGIC ✨
IN ANY CASE
I’m gonna mix Sailor Moon, Miraculous Ladybug and Onimai for my inspo with this ask if you don’t mind
Magical Girl/Boy/Person! Reader is really close friends with Tim and Damian. If there was one thing all three could agree on it’s that they loved superheroes in manga/comics.
And Reader? Boy did they adore the Batfam. There was just something about their dark, brooding aesthetic that they couldn’t get enough of.
So it was a tad bit ironic that they stumbled upon the most “girly”and “bright” power ever known to Gotham.
It didn’t help that your abilities had to be activated with cutely yelling things like “Sparkle Blast!” or “Smile Hurricane!”
I like to headcannon that you have a familiar or Kwami like creature that in exchange of keeping your identity magically hidden, absolutely bullies you by making the one above a requirement.
I headcannon that Damian has the PHATTEST crush on you. Like even moreso than the stalker, otaku Tim. Like he is just head over heels. You’re strong, you’re capable, you’re adorable?? But that mostly extends to just your magic persona rather than your real self. He’s super obvious about it to anyone but you too (similar to the og miraculous ladybug w/ felix instead of chat).
Tim is more interested on who tf you were. Like yes!!! Magical Person Hero!!! You were basically his childhood crushes incarnate!! But his inquisitive mind really needed to know who you were in order to calm himself down.
Jason is honestly a bit overwhelmed by your whole getup, but grows to love you the most in terms of how kind you are and how you help them even in the most dire of situations (not knowing that you were basically forced to)
He’s very much Tuxedo Mask type wherein he’d be very annoying to you when the disguises are off but an absolute Casanova with em on.
You and Dick are the most close when it comes to patrols and fighting. I feel like you, being the big fan you were, would make him look even more flashy and handsome during battle with sparkles and whatnot. I have a feeling he’d be the first to ask you out or fully romance you, as well as be the first to befriend you/contact you as a vigilante.
Bruce is definitely perplexed by how you always evade him in terms of your secret identity. It frustrates him to no end that whenever he gets close to finding out something either gets in his way or his mind just goes blank.
Once you explain how your magical persona works tho he’s pretty quick on the bandwagon, especially since he sees that his boys love you.
Also cause you look way too adorable to really be heinous.
…Right?
Once you break one of your familiar’s rules though, they do share your identity with the bats and well…
All hell breaks loose.

I really need a sub Dabi x male reader Imagine that reader has a Tartaglia-type form and he transforms during the battle, thinking that he scared Dabi with it, but this only manifests dirty thoughts in his head. Nsfw please (sorry if it's too much 😭🙏) P.s I watched the new season and it's soooo good 😩
Short Fuse.
Dabi x Hero!MaleReader
Tumblr media
-smut, dirty thoughts, rough sex, DOM!READER, sub!Dabi, size difference, dubious consent(?), knife mention, crying, slight degradation
-thank you for the request. I haven’t caught up with the anime yet but I’ve been reading the manga and wowie.. but I hope this is what you wanted or meant, wasn’t sure if you wanted villain or not..
The League of Villains surrounded you and your fellow heroes, you’d been stuck with their flame quirk user and it put you at a standstill.
You held a typical hydro quirk, one that allows weapons to manifest from water alone and gave you the ability to cause on land tidal waves and seismic ripples with underground water reserves.
But, even with the upper hand you’d become exhausted because of the power of Dabi’s quirk; being able to turn all the water that surrounded you to nothing but steam that would burn those around who hadn’t trained to succeed in such a scorching environment.
“Say hero, why don’t ya give up already. All your friends are dyin’ around you.. can’t you help them?”
He was right, but the way he chuckled ignited a new surge of energy.
You would surely fall into his hands if you pushed your quirk any further without using.. that side of your quirk.
A secondary trait wasn’t common but it’s what you had. It wasn’t a flattering trait and you’d been told to keep it under wraps.. it could be viewed as a villainous quirk. That’s what you were told at least.
It was scary. Terrifying even, one that you’d imagine a villain to have.
It would be a shock factor, hopefully, and this was life or death for you and the others..
Inhaling deeply, you allowed for the electric currents caused by water and the seismic rifts to fester in your body. It hurt, and you would have hell to pay physically for doing so.
Screaming loudly you charged at the patched male, before he could burn you to a crisp you quickly used him as a launching pad and tossed yourself into the air above him. He fell to his knees and quickly whipped around with his hand out to let a burst of flames out.
His eyes widened, the large form creating a dooming shadow over him and shading the blazing sun from him.
Dabi shook in excitement, you’d grown twice maybe triple the size you were, violet tinted black armour covered your body and a feathery collar to top it off.
The single eye in the center of the new mask pointed its gaze down to him.. before he could fully comprehend the sight he was sent flying from a sudden shock of electricity.
Grunting, he went to try and hit you again but was only pile-drived through the terrain. Even through the terrain and pain, he felt himself heat up from the grasp you had on him..
You were so big.. your hands easily wrapping around his waist and the power you exuded.. he was excited.
“Ugh.. quite the form ya got there..”
He pathetically laid under you, pinned by your weight and with his shirt shredded to bits he was almost exposed to you. The tightness in his pants was keeping him from moving further..
Dabi couldn’t help the perverted thoughts he had, scanning you as you loomed over him..
Did everything grow? Was this just armour or is everything huge now.. he could see your neck through a gap in the armour, feeling himself drool a little at the sight of your shiny sweat.
How would it taste? How would you taste? Were you salty, sweet, pungent.. maybe even savoury? Was there an underlying musk or was it overwhelmingly musky and manly.. the idea of tasting even a lick of your sweat made him cross his legs even if he was held under a deadly grip.
You took his silence and halted movement as fear, he only stared up at you with wide eyes and his body was stiff and rigid in your grip. The swirling in your stomach festered while his bright eyes stared, you heard the cameras flashing and people scream around you. Even in such a fierce battle the cameras were always on, there were still onlookers who stood too stubborn to leave- claiming you’d save them even if they stayed.
“No more moves, Dabi?”
Dabi gulped, swallowing his excess saliva and the lump in his throat bobbed.. he didn’t want you to let go of him or leave and he needed to find a way to keep you near him.
Raising his hand, he reached out towards your face.. instinctively you flinched away and shoved your hand further into his abdomen; making him wheeze out from the pressure.
Before you could question or do anything further, he blasted a large burst of flames into your face- the heat making you collapse along with the fumes taking every ounce of air from your lungs.
Dabi expected you to fall on top of him, ready for the impact of all your weight ontop of him but you managed to fall to the side.. smirking, he greedily took in the image of you lurched over and grinned while he watched you shrink. Before the smoke and flames could clear he grabbed you and took off.
You were bigger and buffer than him before, with him carrying you the size difference in your normal form was still enough to keep up his excitement.. your hand that laid over his shoulder was almost twice the size of his.. did you really finish shrinking or were you naturally this big? He shuddered, thinking of all the things you could do to him if he wasn’t so sly and greedy. He always got what he wanted, and he wanted you.
He brought you to a hidden area, not that far away from the actual fight but far enough that it would be considered an evacuated zone.
You came to almost as soon as he dropped you to the ground, and he smiled deviously while you blinked away the pain- trying to stand only to stumble around without finding your footing.
“Havent you found yourself in a fun scenario, hero?”
Looking up, you caught the bright eyes of Dabi, he sat on a chair with his legs crossed.. you went to attack but only fell to clutch your side.
The after effects from your secondary trait kicking in, your thoughts no longer all that self preserving or even coherent.
“Gotta say.. that form you took out there. I’d love to know more about it.”
Wincing, you sat down on the ground.. staring up at the man who looked like he would eat you alive..
“W..what do you mean?”
He chuckled, smoothly moving to sit infront of you- running a finger up your neck and only lightly grazing before you slapped his hand away. The finger glistened with a thin veil of your sweat, silence halted in your throat as you watched his pierced tongue lick and suck on the finger..
“You’re so big.. does that go for the rest of you?”
Going to crawl on his hands and knees, he inches closer to you- his arousal growing as he smelled you.
It wasn’t unpleasant, your faint odour covered by a cologne smell and the scents mixed only furthered his thoughts. You didn’t dare move, unsure what he was actually trying to do but the way he took in deep breathes right by your neck.. it made you gulp and want to.. you weren’t sure what you were going to do.
“It would be so fun to play with you in that form.. have you ever tried it? Do ya think anyone could even take you without being torn in half?”
“What the hell? What are you saying?!”
He pulled away with a frown, lowering himself to your thighs and only hovering above them.
“You saying it’s never been a thought? Cmon.. most people would kill to have someone as large as you tear them up..”
Your breathe hitched, blush coming over your face.. the realization hit you. He wasn’t scared. He wasn’t scared of your form back there.. he was.. aroused?
“You’re not scared? My quirk didn’t scare you?!”
Dabi chuckled, taking in and reading your body language, deciding to run his hands across your thighs and up to flutter over your waist.
“I’m a villain, it takes a lot to scare me and I would never be scared of some hero.. I can tell you’re weak and won’t be able to get away from me..”
Licking his lips, his eyes trailed up to yours as he laid his cheek on your plush thigh
“Why don’t you have some fun? Push your quirk to the limit, let me see how big you really are..”
He couldn’t help it, the need, the want, for you to fuck him silly- tear him to shreds, it ached and throbbed inside of him.
You stared down at him, it had been a thought of yours but.. it was never an idea that you’d sleep with a villain!
Sweat, musk, a thick fragrance filled the room. It reeked in the best ways- it smelled like sex and desperation. It smelled like sin.
A hero and villain fucking each other as if it was still a life or death battle, aggressive moans and screams emptied themselves between each wall in attempts to fight their ways outside.
Dabi laid with his face pressed against the ground, tongue hanging out of his mouth while he panted like a dog. His free forming moans and whining sounding strangled from his throat.
“Such a filthy fucking villain.. where is your pride? What’s all.. this for?”
His eyes rolled back into his head, the degrading insinuations of your words bounced around his head. A life where he only stood by to be a toy for a hero would truly be a scandalous turn of events- imagine that?! All his hard work to get where he is, all the hardships, the reputation he built.. only to be dummied down to nothing but a slut for a hero..
Every buck of your hips left even less of his pride and self worth- god you were big. It felt so full. Your dick was almost in his guts and rearranging his intestines- he swore!
“What’s that? Got something to say? Let me hear it, tell me with your big boy words.”
His lip quivered, knowing he couldn’t speak through his own sounds he resorted to writhing under you.
“That’s what I thought.”
You pulled out, letting go of his waist and sitting back. Dabi looked behind him, seeing you catching your breathe and pumping yourself.
“Get over here. Now.”
With legs like jelly, he moved to pathetically crawl towards you and sit in your lap.
“Ride it.”
With a weak nod his hand reached around to fill himself up again. With tears in his eyes he tried to bounce himself- only to have his legs tremble under him and threaten to give out.
Nothing he did satisfied how you fucked him. But, his protesting whines fell on deaf ears- the look in your eyes burnt at his skin.
He needed more.
Tears started to pour from his bright eyes, with a smirk you used your quirk on his tears and made a small and razor sharp blade from the sweet liquid.
It went to his throat and pricked his skin, his sensitive scarred skin being nicked made him cry harder.
“Finish yourself, I’m getting bored.”
With a choked sob, he bounced with every drop of energy he had.. all the exhaustion from being abused by the fight and by your dick catching up far too quickly- he wasn’t done! It just wasn’t enough time but through it all he made himself cum. The gooey liquid hitting his chest and shooting just underneath his own chin.
“How pathetic. Disappointing. Can’t be a good villain and can’t even be a good fuck!”
Your hand came up and shoved his face away harshly, forcing him to fall back and get pinned by you once again- the small blade threatening his jugular once more as you laid atop of him.
“Now, I need to get myself taken care of since you wasted my time.”
With a rough thrust, your full length intruded his tight hole and hit against his gummy walls.. every thrust was deep and harsh. Dabi could only lay under you weakly and let you have your way with his body.
He wasn’t scared by your form, he was scared of you. How could a hero be this mean in sex? What a filthy and unhero-like mouth you had.. what a filthy and lewd body you had.
The time you spent abusing his body wasn’t even a tangible thought that he couldn’t comprehend- he felt like it’d been years and his body wanted to give up so badly. When he felt the hot load of cum shoot across his stomach he let out a shuttering breathe- his ass already clenching around nothing.
He needed to keep you somehow.. he needed to see you at your best if this was you tired and aching..
“And yeah, to answer you question.. it all grows. Don’t think you could handle it though, even if you are such a slut.”
With a weak smirk, he watched you leave him alone in all his shame- the faint smell of you left on his skin and making him want to try you again.
With a final shred of energy, he used a finger to pick up your cum on his stomach and shoving it down his throat.
It made every dirty thought he had resurface.. you tasted amazing. He needed more. He’d find you alone again, and show you he isn’t this weak and could please you more, he could impress you.
He wanted a hero to ruin him, and it needed to be you.

you can't get enough of choso
j. kaisen : kamo choso ··→ brainrot.
Tumblr media
i need to get this out desperately before i comatose all day, but choso is the most babygirl of babygirls i've witnessed and dealt with throughout my life as an anime/manga fan.
fuck, just imagine choso overhearing you gush about him to someone, close to you or not, he'd have the unluckiest luckiest times to encounter you as you speak about him, it would range from the most cutest shit ever, to the absolute filthy, oh-my-god-please-do-that-to-me-right-now, i have a boner from just you talking about me so lovingly with carnal desire type shit.
he thrives in your indirect praises about him, more so when you compliment his academic prowess besides his physical appearances.
he finds himself thinking about how, when and just fucking why you think he's so lovable in such a way. like what is he doing so special to be someone so high up to the stars for someone else? what is he doing for you to be so enamoured by him? he doesn't understand, but he wants to, he really does, he's just sooo puppy-like excited just at the thought of you continuing your shinanigans about him to anyone, up until the point where they're annoyed.
and he just especially loves the way your tone gets so low, just the right amount of breathlessness and excitement everytime his name comes out with endearment from your mouth. god, you sound so fucking hot like that.
“please please PLEASE, itadori, link me up with choso, yeah, that kamo choso, please holy FUCK, i know you know him, aren't you related to him too? no? what do you mean you can't? yes you fucking can, i've seen him talk and talk and just talk about you.” shit, if only he can hear you desperately beg for him like that whenever he is around you, but you're just such a two-faced person, skillfully so, being and doing the opposite of what you normally are without his presence.
you'd interact with him normal, just like others, but since that day where he caught you the first time, talking about him in a way where your fondness for him is through the roofs, he'd notice you often lean in against him, following up with a simple “come again?” “i can't hear you.” “louder.” even if the place had little to no people. peculiar.
there would also be times where you would just tease him that causes him to have an existential, identity crisis. “fucking finally,” you groan begrudgingly, stretching your limbs, cursing under your breath about how hard and fucked up the assignment was. of course biology wasn't your strong suit, but it was also a great, valid reason to ask the kamo choso to have a study sesh with you.
“high five, kamo-san.” huh? he glances up from his work, seeing a hand reached out near him. you were idled, lazily leaned back with your other hand acting as the pillar for your weight behind, legs up and obnoxious, knees against the rim of the low table you two studied on. thank god you weren't wearing a skirt, why the fuck are your legs parted.
“i mean,” he pauses, hesitant, glancing between your weirdly nonchalant expression and attitude and your hand. “i don't see why n—” “sorry,”
now how did he find himself in the same sitting position you were in, but with a hand behind his back on the floor, and you now on top of him.
“i have a big fat fucking crush on you,” you took his stretched out hand, basically handholding him now, the other cupping his cheeks. “you're so pretty, you know that right?” he'd see your eyes grow distant, the situation now processed, resulting in him have this pathetic blush all over his face, undecided if it was from your sudden closeness, or the fact that you just straight up confessed to him just now.
were you eye fucking him? what was going through inside your head? and the fact that he wasn't moving an inch, unopposed to whatever this was right now, maybe because he had someone so fucking hot and as ‘pretty’ as him just hovered on top of him.
maybe because its the accumulation of overhearing you on certain times that he'd allow this, or the fact that itadori has talked warned him about you, or also maybe because no one has ever held him in such high regards its just insanity.
you know what you want. so who is he to stop you from achieving your goal?
“earth to kamo-san?” oh.
what do you mean he was daydreaming? what do you mean he was zoning out for awhile? you mean you didn't just confess right now on top of him? you weren't about to fuck his mouth with yours? maybe fuck the shit out of something else too?
yeah, he's okay, even if his cheeks roused such a pretty, healthy color all over, even if his eyes couldn't keep still all over the room but yours, even if his breathing became irregular suddenly just now, and even if he has this overwhelming hotness that throbbed continuously between his thighs right now. yeah.
yeah, he's okay.
of course he's okay.

Sweet Nothings -- OPLA!Sanji x Reader
I've only seen the Live Action, so this is new for me. I started reading the manga a few hours ago and the anime is bookmarked on my Crunchyroll. But for now, I'm working with what I've got. So this is exclusively the Live Action. Best friends to Lovers Trope cause I wanted to. I'm not entirely happy with how this turned out so I might redo it at some point.
Also, shoutout to @avidanadvocacy who managed to like and reblog this within, like, five seconds of me posting it. They're probably the only reason I sat down and wrote this lol
Warnings: vague mentions of canon typical violence, reader is very cautious of showing the fact they're rather soft (not sure if that counts as a warning or makes sense, I'm tired lol)
No use of y/n, or those weird descriptor things, reader is gender neutral. Reader is however you imagine them
Word Count: 2.5k

I spy with my little tired eye Tiny as a firefly A pebble that we picked up last July Down deep inside your pocket We almost forgot it Does it ever miss Wicklow sometimes?
You had known Sanji since you were young. You had both been around twelve at the time Zeff took you in, after you had been abandoned rather unceremoniously at the Baratie. You couldn’t remember much about the pirates who had left you behind, not that it mattered to you. You were thankful, even after all the years since, that Zeff had taken you in. You weren’t a skilled cook, but you were diligent and hard working, so you worked as a head waiter.
Having grown up around Sanji, you were used to his…antics. He was a flirt to each and every female customer, but whenever you asked, he would wave you off and laugh about it being how he simply ‘gets the customers to keep coming back.’ And you’d roll your eyes and continue on with your business. He had been your best friend for years. When you had initially met, you had simply clicked and that was that. Nothing to it.
He would make you smile on your worst days and you’d do the same for him. Because that’s what friends do. Right?
The first moment you had doubted that his friendship was just that was the day he lent you his coat.
You had just stopped in the kitchen to drop off orders and take a quick breather. The lunch rush at the Baratie was merciless on a good day.
The winds had shifted earlier in the day and despite the hustle and bustle of the restaurant, a chill passed through you and you shivered.
Within moments, a navy blue suit jacket had been deposited around your shoulders.
You turned to see Sanji grinning at you.
“Wouldn’t do for our favorite waiter to catch cold now, would it?” He said before walking deeper into the kitchen.
You smiled at his retreating form, then slipped your arms into the coat properly and rolled the sleeves so that you’d be able to work.
A bit of time had passed since then, and you stopped to survey the tables around the restaurant, putting your hands into the pockets of Sanji’s jacket.
Your fingers brushed against something and you pulled it out in confusion.
A pebble sat in the palm of your hand. Just as blue as the day you had initially found it two years back.
Zeff had sent you both for supplies and you had spotted it. It was a stunning cerulean blue and you had immediately thought of your best friend. He had told you of the All Blue, and ever since that moment you had associated the color with him. Not every shade of blue, of course, but only the ones that were the most beautiful. One’s that caught the eye and seemed to shimmer.
You had almost forgotten the tiny pebble. But this jacket…Sanji’s favorite. There would be no way he’d be unaware of it being in the pocket.
You put the stone back. Your mind racing.
They said the end is coming Everyone's up to something I find myself running home to your sweet nothings Outside, they're push and shoving You're in the kitchen humming All that you ever wanted from me was sweet nothing
The one thing you didn’t like about the Baratie was the fighting. You knew it was inevitable, especially with pirates. You were old enough now to look past it. It was a fact of life. Sometimes it was genuine fighting, other times customers simply got into little spats that were easier to ignore.
You sighed and wandered into the kitchen. Zeff had stepped out to smooth the wrinkles on whatever argument had broken out. To be entirely honest, the dinner shift had taken it out of you and you were exhausted.
You plopped down in a chair off to the side with another heavy sigh and shut your eyes.
The clink of dishware being set before you and a chair scraping the ground next to you brought you to open your eyes again.
A rice dish sat in front of you, a glass of water next to it. Sanji’s eyes watched you carefully.
“What is it?” You knew the Baratie menu inside and out, and this was definitely not on it.
A signature smile graced his face. “Seafood risotto. Nothing terribly fancy, just terribly good.”
“Does Zeff know about this?” You asked, taking a bite. It was divine.
Blue eyes twinkled. “What the old man doesn’t know won’t hurt him.” Sanji paused, smile fading and voice growing soft. “You seem tired, sweetheart.”
You tried to squash the flutter in your chest. It had been months since you found the pebble in Sanji’s coat, and you had found out that he always carried it. Your heart had run away with that information. And while the blond had called you by the same pet name for years, it felt different now that your affections towards your best friend had shifted. You kept the information to yourself, afraid of change.
So instead you shrugged, continuing to eat. “I guess I’m a little tired? The dining room has kept me on my toes all day and I didn’t sleep very easy last night.”
Sanji’s brows furrow in concern at that. “Well, make sure you finish eating. And try and get some better sleep tonight. For me, yeah?”
You swallowed. He always looked at you so sweetly. Always treated you so differently than the girls he flirted with for good tips. Now he was giving you that small smile, blond hair in his face as always, but the softness in his eyes was unmistakable.
You nodded, “Of course, Sanji.”
Your heart was doing somersaults.
On the way home I wrote a poem You say, "What a mind" This happens all the time
Monkey D Luffy came barrelling into both your lives like a cannonball. One moment life was as it had been for years, the next finds both you and Sanji preparing to leave the Baratie and join the crew of the Going Merry
You weren’t sure why Luffy had insisted you come too. When you had asked him, he had only shrugged with a smile, saying that it had felt like the right thing to do.
So, you made yourself useful where you could. Whether it be helping Sanji, or any of the other Straw Hats.
Luffy had soon after discovered that you enjoyed writing.
It was the day before everything went wrong.
You and Sanji had left the Baratie that afternoon, Zorro was on the road to recovery from his battle against Dracule Mihawk, and everything seemed fine .
A conversation of dreams had even arisen over a meal, and you had shyly mentioned how you enjoyed writing. Not that there was time for it while waiting tables.
Sanji was surprised and intrigued to find a new side of you. You had never mentioned it to him. It was just a silly little hobby in your eyes and, in the life you led, you had always kept those simple things to yourself. Not even sharing them with your best friend.
Luffy, however, had been delighted and immediately asked if you would document the voyage.
Granted, his wording had been more along the lines of “write down our adventures”, but same thing.
Later that night, Sanji had found you on the deck, a new journal in your hand.
“A writer, eh?” He had that soft voice again.
You nodded, refusing to look at him properly. “I want to be a famous poet someday.” You whispered, inwardly afraid of making such an admission.
The years on the Baratie had led you to shove all the soft spoken emotions deep down, gentleness was not a trait most pirates were fond of. But your new captain was the exact opposite, his kindness earning your trust instantly. You knew without a shadow of a doubt that you had found a new and true friend in Luffy.
But you’d never replace Sanji.
Your heart seemed to clench and you opened your mouth to apologize for keeping it from him, but when you looked at him, your breath caught and your voice failed you.
The chef was always sweet on you, but he looked at you in that moment as if you had hung the stars.
“What a mind.” He said quietly, as if he was simply in awe of you.
Unbeknownst to you, Sanji had been looking at you like that for years. There was a reason he called you sweetheart, why you were always the first to try his new creations, why he treated you so differently than all the other girls. A reason why he was so sweet on you.
Everyone could see it. Zorro knew. Nami knew. Usopp knew. Luffy knew. The young captain had made sure to bring you both from the Baratie. If it meant he had to separate the two of you, then Luffy would have never had Sanji come aboard as Chef.
Even Zeff knew. Which was why he had let you both go.
However, you couldn’t see it.
But in that moment, with Sanji looking at you, you were ready to throw it all away. Willing to possibly ruin years of friendship if it just meant you could kiss him once.
'Cause they said the end is coming Everyone's up to something I find myself running home to your sweet nothings Outside, they're push and shoving You're in the kitchen humming All that you ever wanted from me was nothing
Nami’s betrayal had shocked you all to the core. You had only known her for such a short time, but it had still hurt.
Sanji was convinced that her alliance with Arlong wasn’t something she had chosen. Zorro seemed to only see it in black and white, positive that she had made her choice.
Luffy simply wanted to hear the truth from Nami herself. And only then would he believe it.
So the Going Merry was currently sailing for the Conomi Islands just to hear that truth.
It was once again late at night, but sleep would not come. The day’s events play over and over in your mind, keeping you wide awake.
So you headed quietly to the kitchen only to find the light on and an equally awake Sanji sitting quietly with a cup of tea, humming to himself.
You froze. You had almost kissed him the night before, fear holding you back.
But he had already seen you.
“Can’t sleep either, can you, sweetheart?”
You gave up on resisting, going to sit beside him.
Without speaking, he poured you a cup of tea, setting it before you.
“Chamomile. Should help.” Was all he said.
The day had left you both content with each other’s silence as you sat next to each other, shoulders brushing lightly. Sanji eventually went back to humming.
You couldn’t tell if it was the gentle movement of the ship as it sailed, the tea, or even Sanji himself humming softly next to you, but eventually your eyes shut.
Vaguely, you were aware of being carried and eventually set down gently in your hammock.
Something brushed your forehead and you thought you heard Sanji’s voice before you drifted fully into sleep. You felt almost certain it was a kiss, but you were too deep in the fog of sleep to deem that true. It had most likely been your imagination.
“Sweet dreams, sweetheart.”
Industry disruptors and soul deconstructors And smooth-talking hucksters out glad-handing each other And the voices that implore, "You should be doing more" To you, I can admit that I'm just too soft for all of it
The fight against Arlong and his pirates had once again changed everything overnight. You wouldn’t lie, it was terrifying. But you had prevailed. The Straw Hats won in the end. Nami and her village were safe.
It had brought so many things to light for you. As soon as you had all reboarded the Going Merry, you dutifully recorded the events of the day, from the villagers of Coco Village to the fight at Arlong Park, you made your way to the kitchen, needing solace from your best friend.
Your emotions had been bottled the whole day. Yes, fighting was inevitable. You were a pirate, it was simply a fact of life. But you still didn’t like it.
“Sanji?” You called.
The kitchen was empty to your surprise, so you made your way to the deck, finding him by the tangerine trees.
He had the pebble in his hand as you walked up and your heart began to race. He slipped it back into his pocket as he noticed you and you pretended not to see.
Instead you wrapped your arms around his middle, and Sanji instantly returned your hug, holding you close.
“What’s wrong, sweetheart?”
“I don’t know. I think…” you trailed off.
Sanji released you from the hug, but still kept you within his arms. “You know you can tell me anything, right?”
You nodded. “I think…I’m too soft for all this sometimes.” You admitted slowly. “I mean, I can do it, don’t get me wrong. But, Sanji, today was terrifying. And the Grand Line is supposed to be worse.”
That twinkle and smile were back again. “You’re not too soft, sweetheart. You’re perfect. You were strong today, and I know you don’t like fighting. But you’re brave, and you protect those you care about. Being soft doesn’t make you weak.”
“But what if it does?” Your voice dropped to a whisper. “Because–”
You stopped, confessions halting on your lips.
“Because what, sweetheart? Stop hiding yourself, it’s just me.”
“That’s exactly why I’m hiding.”
He frowned in confusion, silently imploring you to continue.
“Because you make me feel soft. I kept my writing to myself because somehow it always ended up being about you. Whether it be the way you look at me or even the fact you kept that pebble.”
His eyebrows shot up in surprise. Apparently he had genuinely thought you hadn’t noticed.
“We’re supposed to be pirates, Sanji. There’s no softness allowed in this profession.”
He gently pulled you a little closer, warm breath now able to be felt on your face as he spoke, “I think we’ve already proven we’re a different sort of pirate than what’s expected, sweetheart.”
You were drowning in an ocean of greyish blue. The little nickname. That tiny sweet nothing. It wore down any and all of the final doubts and reserves in your mind and the two of you melted into each other.
He held you tightly, arms around you as both your hands grabbed tightly to his shirt, the both of you lost in a kiss that seemed like forever.
Eventually it ended, and he rested his forehead gently against yours.
“I’m in love with you, sweetheart.” He said gently. “How’s that for being soft, hmm?”
A small smile formed upon your face. The both of you had been oblivious to the other, yes. But at the same time, all of Sanji’s little sweet nothings over the years–both in words and actions–played quickly through your head. The past week had pulled everything straight to the surface.
“I love you, too.”
All that you ever wanted from me was sweet nothings.
Not entirely happy with this but it's late. Let me know what you think. I'm still new to this fandom, and there's a lot of content that I've yet to learn about. But I'll get there.

(I am so in love with Yuta he just- stolen my heart fr 🥹💖) Hi, I’m back after like months of requesting (I think-) so how about scenario of Yuta who has a crush on the reader, however he always gets too nervous to approach them. He was scared to fall in love again due to what happened to Rika (just like you said! :D) so he just admire them from afar, until he get caught…he was pretty obvious about it- but his crush let it slide for now.
Tumblr media
(Get prepared with so much Yuta request in the future, I just love him so much AAAAAA)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuta watches you train.
Tumblr media
Yuta watched from the bleachers as you continued your spar with Maki. You had been training hard and as a result, have been able to best Maki in three spars yet. Continuing to be stubborn Maki demanded you spar with her again determined to get a defeat on you.
"Wow they have really improved, hu?" Yuta said to Panda and Toge.
"They sure have!" Panda agreed.
"Salmon" Toge exclaimed.
"Hmm," Panda hummed scanning his eyes from Yuta to you. "You sure are watching them closely today," Panda teased.
"What?!" Yuta exclaimed jumping a bit in his seat. "No, I- I'm watching the same as you two!" He yelped nervously.
"Oh come on, you know you don't have to lie to us," Panda said thumping Yuta on the back.
"Bento flakes," Toge agreed.
Yuta looked down at his shoes, unsure how to respond to his friends. The truth was he had been admiring you for some time now. However, he was haunted by flashbacks of Rika whenever he considered approaching you.
The last person he fell in love with met an awful fate due to him being unable to control his cursed energy. Unknowingly, he cursed Rika, causing her to turn into a cursed spirit instead of passing on after being fatally injured.
Anytime he daydreamed about you or spoke to you for too long, worst-case scenarios flash over his eyes. What if something ever happened to you because of his inability to control his cured energy just like Rika?
Yuta let out a heavy sigh looking back up at you and Maki sparring for a fifth time.
"What's that sigh for? You know I think they kind of have the hots for you too you know," Panda said.
"Hu?" Yuta exclaimed looking at Panda.
Panda laughed, "You humans are complex creatures but sometimes you get so wrapped up in yourselves you miss obvious signs from each other."
"Like um- what kind of signs?" Yuta asked shyly unable to control his curiously.
"You really haven't noticed?" Panda asked. Even Toge looked confused and curious to hear Panada's observations of you. "Well for starters even when you're taking way too long to pack your stuff up after class they always wait for you. They suddenly mix up words anytime they are in a conversation with you, and not to mention anytime you go out on a mission they pace around restlessly until you come back safe."
Yuta felt his face get hot at Panda's observations. Did you really like him back? Yuta looked back to you and Maki just as you spun around landing a final blow on Maki, winning the fourth spar. Landing the blow and throwing Maki to the floor you looked up at the bleachers making eye contact with Yuta. His face was completely flushed and he immediately looked away.
You felt your own face flush at realizing he was blushing from watching you.
"Just say something to him already," Maki said irritated.
Maki was right, Yuta was very timid and if you took the lead it would drastically speed your relationships up. However, you wanted to be mindful of his past. It couldn't have been easy for him to live with his deceased girlfriend as a curse all through his childhood.
You let out a heavy sigh, "No, I'll wait till he's ready."
Tumblr media
I haven’t read the manga only caught up on the anime- so I hope this is still pretty accurate for Yuta! Thank you for my first JJK request 🤭!

Shigaraki With a Crush on Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
MINORS DON'T INTERACT
Notes/Warnings: 18+ themes but no smut, Fem-Reader, White-Haired Shigaraki w/ Long hair (he's 21 in this fic), alcohol use but no one gets drunk, other members of the League make an appearance, Shigaraki is pervy, they play League of Legends cuz I'm just as much of a loser as Shigaraki, story has TWO PARTS in one fic, fluff, not proofread
i will not stop babygirlifying Shigaraki YOU CAN'T STOP ME
Notes about reader: quiet-type, wears flashy alternative clothes and makeup, nerdy (artist, gamer, loves anime & manga), neurodivergent
The PLF was staffed with a multitude of skilled folks, all of different positions. There were those on the front causing trouble, like most of the League. Some people held side-line positions, which is where you come in. You worked as a research, statistic, and data analyst, as well as an undercover intel gatherer. Under Skeptic's duty. More of a down-low kind of role.
You weren't the most talkative, but you were always there at every meeting and event. However, the outfits you wore and the way you did your hair almost completely contrasted with your rather quiet personality. Bold eyeliner, frilly skirts, sexy fishnets. You'd come to meetings and usually have your face buried into a sketchbook, yet whenever you were called on it seemed like you were paying attention perfectly.
Shigaraki kept tabs on most of the PLF members, though not extensively. You, however, always managed to catch his eye. For such a minuscule role in the organization, you seemed to pop up everywhere. It was never hard to spot you.
What truly caught him was when you walked into a meeting wearing a fucking League of Legends shirt. He recalls it perfectly. The way you fwumped down in your chair, always across the table in the same damn chair every time. You carried about five manga books with you and your sketchbook, and a Monster Energy right by you. He paid closer attention at that meeting and picked up on your habits and suddenly he found your voice exciting to listen to. It was a bummer you were so reserved.
With all that damn shit you carried around with you, it was frequent that you'd be stuck in the meeting room a couple minutes after everyone left. Just trying to gather your things.
Tomura noticed you questioning your packing methods as he walked toward the door. He was getting a little irritated just watching you struggle with your bag, trying to get it all to fit. He thought to himself "fuck it" and strolled over to you. You weren't really paying attention as he grabbed one of your books with only two fingers and a thumb, eyeballing your backpack. You packed a lot of shit.
You looked up and you began to freeze. The big boss. You were beyond confused and a tiny bit frightened. You didn't say anything until he looked at you as well.
"Need help?" Tomura asked, gently waving the book in his hand. You took note that he was being careful with it.
"Uh..sure, yes," you stammered.
"You have a lot of stuff. How'd you even get it all up here? Cuz to be honest all this ain't gonna fit."
"I carried it."
He now took note of the headphones around your shoulders. You were funny, he thought.
"Let me take the backpack and you can carry your books."
You paused a moment, confused that he stopped to help you. Especially considering he's, him.
"O-okay."
Tomura took your bag, which typically is a little heavy for you, but less than a breeze for him.
"Where's your room?" Tomura asked.
"Skeptic's wing."
"Oh, right. You're the research girlie."
You were impressed that he knew. You followed him sheepishly. "Girlie." Shigaraki sure did have a smart mouth, judging by the meetings. Once you got down the stairs, Tomura gestured for you to go in front of him.
"Lead the way. I don't know where the hell we're going."
You lead him toward your room of the building. Tomura snuck a look at your ass as you guided him through Skeptic's wing. The fishnets looked nice on you, too. A part of his mind wanted to compare you to a hooker, but he had a feeling that wasn't very progressive of him. He wasn't complaining, though.
"Here."
You two had finally arrived at your bedroom. You opened the door and Shigaraki questioned if it was okay for him to come in, so he sat the backpack down just beyond your door.
"I, uh. Thank you, Shigaraki."
He felt a little excitement in his pants listening to you say his name, especially in such a thankful tone.
"Yea, no prob." He began to step away, no formal goodbye until he stopped, realizing he didn't exactly know your name.
He made steps backwards towards your door.
"You're name..it's Y/N? If I remember right. Sorry. There's a lot of us."
"No worries," you smiled. "Yea, that's me."
"You play League?" He asked, noticing your shirt again.
"Oh! Yea! I mean, I fucki- sorry-language, I suck. But I love playing."
"No shame. I'd carry you," Tomura flirted? He wasn't sure. He eyed you like an excited puppy. "I just don't know any girls who play. Or anyone aside from Spinner, honestly."
"He does?"
"Yea. We, uh..We should play. Tonight?" Tomura felt his face get warm and he knew he had to cut the convo short before he went red.
"Yea!!" You perked up. Excited to make friends, which was very hard for you because of how quiet you were. With Shigaraki, too? Definitely would come in your favor, you figured.
Shigaraki felt himself get flustered at your sudden excitement.
"Do you have a paper and pen?" He asked, figuring you should.
"Yeah hold on," you went to your desk and pulled out a paper and pen and handed them over to him.
Tomura used his thigh to write down his user, and also included his phone number while he was at it, just in case.
"Here. I, uh, I gotta go but you can text me. I'll tell Spinner to be prepared."
"Okay," you beamed. Tomura tried holding back his smile that would've spread right across his face if he didn't.
"Okay. Bye." He turned away and trailed off faster than lightning. For the first time in...wow. For once, he felt like he was experiencing happiness in an objectively good way that didn't involve murdering a whole city. He then wondered if that was gonna be a deal breaker.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple weeks had passed. You and Tomura were certainly friends up to this point. You played League a bunch (with Spinner, who could tell Shigaraki had the hots for you), but you two had also played other games together. Minecraft and GTA were regulars. He even pestered about Animal Crossing, but you didn't have a Switch! (He was going to change that).
As for in-person? You two sat closer together at meetings. You had even left your designated chair to come join his side. Some of the other higher-ups were starting to question it, but Shigaraki always found ways to write them off.
You made Tomura feel normal. Almost child-like. Like there was someone who only needed him for mutual jokes and fun. You were also a very understanding person and didn't shame him for things that you had every reason to. Of course, he hadn't spilled every bean in his can yet. He couldn't handle sharing all that and then you did not like him the same way he liked you.
-
"Dude, just ask her out." Dabi sipped from his beer and scowled watching Shigaraki stare at you from across the room. The League threw a party for no good reason. Of course, PLF members were encouraged to come.
"She doesn't have other people to hang out with so she's probably looking for you anyways," Spinner included.
"Don't call her a loner," Shigaraki said spitefully, taking a drink from his glass of whiskey.
"If the shoe fits," Dabi includes.
"She's smart for that. This world is full of posers."
"Not like yourself, right?" Dabi includes.
"I will dump my whiskey on your burn scars. Shut the fuck up."
"Just fucking ask the girl out. She gets all smiley around you anyways. Probably gooey, too."
"Knock it OFF!" Shigaraki rumbles. Though the hypothetical idea of that definitely made him feel pride. "I've like. Never had a friend, who was a girl, that I liked this way."
"You're a virgin, got it," Dabi joked, knowing full well he was risking his life.
"I fucking hate you." Shigaraki sighs and scratches his, neck. He turned his gaze over to you, noticing your fitting black dress with your classic fish nets. He noticed a boob window, too. That was gonna make this harder (ha). He actually appreciated your style a lot. He was always excited to see what you chose to wear whenever there was a meeting, or he knew he was gonna see you somehow. Always full of surprises.
Spinner was right, though. You looked lost. You hung around the bar, bored and stagnant. Shigaraki noticed some guys looking at you, making him feel protective and angry. You looked your head around and then you and his gaze met. He figured it was time to approach you.
He walked up to you at the bar with his whiskey in hand. He sat in the chair next to yours and looked at you with a restrained smirk.
"Hi."
"Hi," you giggled.
"Having a good time?"
"So far I've been bored."
"When did you get here?" Shigaraki says sneaky. He saw you come in twenty minutes ago.
"A bit ago."
"Why didn't you come look for me?"
"I saw you with Spinner and Dabi, actually. I didn't know if you wanted me to hang out with you."
"Are you kidding me?" Shigaraki furrows, but sees you genuine face of worry. "Of course, I want to hang out with you. More than Dabi, I can say that."
"I'm just not as cool as most of the others."
"Girlie, you're out of your mind if you think you're any less cool than these losers. You're uh. You're like the coolest girl I know," he begins to transition into a mumble, though you heard every word.
"You're uh," Tomura's head whipped around when you began speaking. "You're cooler."
"I'll agree with you there. I'm better at games. And murderous ways."
"Yea."
"You're a deviant little devil, though," He chuckles, semi-sarcastically.
"Okay, maybe I am cooler, actually."
"Fuck you," He laughs.
He really couldn't handle it anymore. Not being transparent about how he felt about you. He did the good thing, right? He didn't solicit himself onto you and try the nice guy shit. He also wanted to get to know you better, though. But he felt himself get excited to see you. He'd get sad when you didn't text him for a while. He found himself wanting to comfort you, as well as Shigaraki possibly could. He wanted to touch you, and not even sexually (well, yes sexually). He wanted to feel your hair and how you felt hugging him. Oh, yea. His quirk. He's gotten gloves from the Doctor before, though. He can make it work.
"I knew you were here when you got here," he admits.
"I know. You looked over at me a couple times."
"Oh."
"What took you so long?"
"I..uh-" his mind was screaming. "I was nervous."
"You were nervous? When do you get nervous?"
"Tonight. Right now. I-It's just, I-fuck!" He buried his face in his hands, itching the area on his face he could reach.
"What's wrong?"
"I like you," Tomura muffled in his hands.
You're eyes shot wide open and your heart beat faster than you thought possible.
"Really?" You began to smile wide, though Tomura still couldn't see.
"YeuUP! A lot. Like so much so that..FUUUck."
"Being shy is my job!" You giggled, voice shaking. Shigaraki could hear the tremble in your voice and looked at you, seeing your huge smile and bright eyes.
"Yea, well. You're cute. You did this to me!" He scoffs with a cackle.
"I brought the big boss to his knees, then?"
"Uh-huh. Ya got me."
"I, um.." Tomura turned his head to you while you began to speak. "I like you too."
"You do?"
"Yea. I've been scared to say it. I didn't think you did."
"For a data analyst I figured you'd pick up on it."
"Well. Maybe I did. But I doubted that it was true."
"Well," Tomura turned to face you directly this time. "It's pretty canon, as you'd say."
You chuckled at him and looked at his hands. You reached out and trailed your more delicate hands against his, rubbing the inside of his palm. He looked at you in awe, in slight disbelief of what you were doing.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Tomura asked, slightly shaking.
"Yes." You smiled, his hand now holding yours, with his pinky up. "Please?"
"Yea. I'm the one who asked, silly. And I'll get gloves, okay?"
"Okay. I trust you."
"Thanks. So...is it too early to ask for a kiss?"
You blushed and hid your face in your other hand.
"No. But there's all these people."
"True. Let's get out of here then. My room? I got a huuuuge bed."
"What're your intentions?" You blushed.
He shrugged and smirked. "Whatever you want. I also have like, six gaming consoles and a PC. Mario Kart? Or...Smash? ;)"
"Both?"
"Good choice."

part one — part two
You drank your fifth bottle of beer despite not having enough Berries for even one. It had been a bad day – the worst, you think. It had been less than a year since you started as a sea merchant, and here you were now, not a Berry to your name thanks to a band of thieves. Thankfully, they left most of your products alone, only grabbing what they needed.
You tugged your father's jacket closer to your body and pulled out the stack of wanted posters that a News Coo bird had dropped off for the town you docked at. Most were new faces, some were pirates whose bounties increased.
You had asked for another bottle when the bartender questioned how you would be paying for it. You didn't answer. He rolled his eyes and muttered as he moved onto the customer a few seats away from you.
As you looked through the bounties, someone's booming voice chuckled as they entered the pub.
"Hey! Bartender, give us your finest liquor. Today is a day for celebration!" You turned to glare at the cause of loud noise when you realized at first glance that he looked familiar. You quickly whipped your head around to look at the posters again, shuffling through them.
Just as you found the one of the pirate that had just entered the pub, someone snatched it from your hand.
You turned to find that you had caught the attention of the pirate, Nepto Edda.
You saw the poster long enough to know his bounty would be more than enough to pay for your bill and get you back up on your feet.
"Looky here, men!" He chuckled again, showing his wanted poster to his crew with pride. They laughed as well.
Edda turned to you. "What are you planning to do with these, girl? You shouldn't be messing in these parts of the turf."
He slapped the posters off your hand, causing them to scatter on the pub floor. The bartender was too intimidated to reprimand the pirate.
Despite your recent loss, you held your chin high. You turned to completely face him.
"I'd love to hear you say that after I turn you in to the Navy."
He laughed before he swung to hit you, which you quickly avoided, sliding off your seat in the process. One of his crew was about to reach for his sword when you kicked his hand down and took the sword for yourself.
He and his crew kept his distance as you held the sword between you and them. At the last second, you sensed someone behind you. Before you could turn around, their blade was to your neck, their arm around your waist to keep you in place.
You clenched your jaw hearing their captain chuckle.
Your arms quickly fell to your side as a plan came to mind, though you were surprised to find the other person at the bar jumping into action.
He had taken one of his three swords and sliced at one of Edda's crew, catching everyone's attention.
You took the chance to slice the person behind you by their leg, the blade barely grazing your neck as you got away and sliced towards their chest.
The rest of the fight was a blur with the rush of adrenaline, though you had taken out your hidden gun at some point and pointed it to Edda.
His chuckle was nervous now, unlike how it was full and confident just moments ago. Who wouldn't be nervous, being at the mercy of a gun and a katana?
"Hey, back off, he's mine." The man that had jumped into the fight was first to speak.
You let out a surprised exclamation. The man certainly had the audacity. "How is he yours? I found him out and did the hard work, I didn't even need your help."
"I've done more damage to him than you have. It's only right that I'm the one to take him in," the green-haired man justified.
"Bullshit. I don't abide by that logic."
"Well, that's not my problem."
"I need to pay for my bill," you reasoned.
"So do I," he retorted.
"Please, it's both on the house if you just leave," the bartender, already sick of the bickering, pleaded with the pair of you.
Still, you continued even as the bartender spoke. "You wanna take this outside?" You said in a flurry of anger.
"Fine." He started to head out. You watched as he did, hitting Edda's temple with the butt of your gun to knock him out. You tied the pirate up before you quickly followed.
You settled right outside the pub, readying yourselves for a duel.
You recognized from his Three-Swords Style that you had challenged Roronoa Zoro, the notorious pirate hunter. Still, you did not prevail, taking out your own sword and placing your hand on your gun.
Before taking on the business in the seas, you had mastered the skill of swordsmanship and marksmanship, at least to your own extent.
"No guns," he announced.
"What, afraid you'll be at a disadvantage?" You knew he could most likely deflect bullets just as you could, but that couldn't stop you from taunting him.
"Fine. Do whatever you'd like."
Still, you obeyed, crouching and throwing your gun to the side. You instead equipped brass knuckles onto your now free hand.
You were now both ready, observing each other, waiting to see who would be first to offend and defend. Getting impatient, Zoro charged towards you.
His right hand rose to strike, which you quickly blocked with your sword. He pressured his sword forward, grunting when you didn't even seem to struggle upon keeping his blade away from yourself. You deflected it and stepped away as the blade swiped downwards, leaving a trail of dust as its trajectory hit the ground.
Your duel had caught the attention of a crowd, though it slowly depleted in size as your fight went on for hours.
Though you were exhausted, sweating and panting, the fight went on. You had both grazed each other multiple times, your knuckles even inflicting bruises onto his face, but neither cut a wound too deep into each other. The pub was closing and the moon had long risen by the time the bartender from earlier called your fight off, announcing it as a draw.
Reluctantly, and because the bartender had run his mouth off with scoldings, you split the bounty and parted ways. You never saw him again after that, and you were glad you never did.
* * * * * *
Once is an accident.
After leaving Baratie, you pulled out your map to head for Cocoyashi Village. It was under Arlong's reign but he allowed you to make trades with the village. As long as he got a share of your profit, of course.
You arrived every midweek to trade with the fruits they bore, most specifically the tangerines one villager named Nojiko grew. In return, you would give a few of the fruits and vegetables you traded from other villages. You would also give a few Berries to Genzo to help them pay for their monthly tributes.
For sailors and pirates of the sea, at least those with common sense, fruits and vegetables were essential to have on board to avoid getting scurvy. Naturally, you had to get the best of products to have a greater profit.
It took a few days for you to arrive. Though it was night when you did, the village seemed livelier than you had ever seen before.
Genzo greeted you as you docked your ship. He seemed to be in a bit of a drunken stupor as he called your name with joy. "Welcome!"
"Genzo, what's the occasion? I'm surprised Arlong let you have any fun," you remarked as you placed an arm around his shoulders to support him.
"You came at the right time! This marks the start of a new age in this village. We've been set free!" He announced, your eyes widening in disbelief.
"Coco's free?" You questioned for confirmation.
Genzo nodded with the grin that has remained on his face since he began to approach you. You had never seen him smile this much.
"This kid named Luffy beat Arlong into a pulp!" He then chuckled.
"Luffy?" You repeated. Genzo laughed again.
"And he had the nerve to challenge Marine's Vice Admiral Garp!" He said through his laughter.
"He fought Garp?"
Genzo nodded enthusiastically. He had begun leading you into the village at some point. "The Marines left without arresting them, though. Even if Garp could have completely beaten the kid."
"The village has been celebrating for four days now. Especially those pirates, they never seem to get tired!"
Just as he said it, you caught sight of Zoro sound asleep with a bottle of beer by his side.
"Oh. I guess it's just their captain that has endless stamina," Genzo concluded.
"Nojiko is resting, you ought to wait until tomorrow comes before you can trade."
You nodded in understanding.
"Have you eaten yet? You should try tonight's dish – tangerine garlic chicken." He grabbed you by the shoulders and led you to where the food was.
"Oh? Sounds interesting." You turned to face the person serving the food, your heart jumping in surprise as you did.
"Sanji!" Genzo had walked away to conversate with Luffy.
He had been keeping his eyes on the pan of cooked chicken as he scooped up a serving, his head suddenly whipping up to look at you as you called his name in surprise.
His eyes lit up as he called your name as well. "What are you doing here?" He was too shocked to tease you with something along the lines of, "how did you know where to find me?"
"I'm here for business, I trade for tangerines and other fruits with Nojiko. What are you doing here? What happened at Baratie?" You asked with confusion.
He shook his head and smiled, scooping a serving larger than usual to put on your plate. "I was, but I quit. I was too good for that place, anyway. I joined a pirate crew."
"You joined Luffy's crew?"
"You know him?"
You shrugged. "He pestered me at Baratie."
He chuckled as he looked away to find his captain, shaking his head in disapproval. "That idiot."
Usopp suddenly approached them, "Say, Sanji, have you eaten? Maybe you should take a break," he recommended, and something in his eyes told Sanji he was not taking 'no' for an answer.
"Hi, nice to see you again, miss Trader." He held his ground and stood with confidence beside Sanji as he greeted you with a grin.
"Likewise, I suppose, Usopp."
Usopp's confidence and courage seemed to crumble in less than a second as he cowered behind Sanji. "She remembers my name…!"
You fought an amused smile off your lips. "I'm not an ally to the Marines, there's nothing to worry about."
He didn't seem at all convinced, yet decided to trust you anyway. "A-Anyway, you should take that break, Sanji. Don't worry about the food, I'll handle it."
Sanji looked at him for a few seconds, almost reluctant, before taking a plate for himself.
"Make sure Luffy doesn't get near it – the village needs it more than he does, especially when he's had five servings and he's still starving," he instructed as he scooped himself a serving and took utensils for himself and for you. He handed you a fork and a spoon.
"Yes, sir!" Usopp saluted the chef before the latter gave him a grateful smile and began to walk away, a hand gently on your back to lead you along.
"What really happened?" There was silence on his end for a moment, so you spoke again. "I went back to Baratie the other day."
He chuckled. "Missed me that bad?"
You rolled your eyes yet a smile was on your lips. "The owner said you'd left. Figured that since I was a sea merchant, I'd be bound to run into you. That's all he said."
"Well, the old man's an idiot, he knows I'm headed for the Grand Line."
"You are?" You asked before taking a bite out of the chicken.
"Good?" He asked for your feedback.
You closed your eyes. You hated raising men's egos but you also couldn't lie. "It's the best I've had," it almost pained you to admit.
He couldn't help but chuckle at how cute you looked as you blurted it out, almost as if it were against your will that you did.
A somewhat comfortable silence fell between the two of you.
"I left Baratie because I wanted to find the All Blue." He looked at you and, as expected, you gave him a puzzled look. "It's a place where all the Blue Seas meet. You can find fish from all seas there."
You hummed with interest and intrigue. "Sounds like quite a chef's paradise."
He only smiled at you for a moment. He liked how you understood how he felt in an instant. "Exactly."
"So you're setting off to the Grand Line?"
"That's where we're headed. We just came here to get Nami." Your brows raised in surprise as you looked around.
"This is Nami's hometown?" He nodded.
"Turns out she joined the Arlong Pirates to buy her village back," he explained, "He set the price to a hundred million Berries then cheated her when she was about to reach that goal."
You couldn’t help but chuckle in disbelief. "A hundred million?"
"It's hard to believe, isn't it?" Sanji laughed as well just thinking about how Nami collected a hundred million Berries in eight years. "Luffy beat the shit out of Arlong for that. Now we have our navigator back, we're headed for the Grand Line."
You could listen to him talk for hours, and so you did just that. You and Sanji talked for the rest of the night. Next thing you knew, Nojiko had awoken and approached you to trade.
Sanji helped load the crates of tangerines onto your boat, despite him usually refusing to use his hands for anything other than cooking.
"Come with me," he offered as Genzo loaded the second crate onto your boat. "Come with us."
"The Straw Hat Pirates?" You asked for confirmation. He nodded. Genzo left the two of you to talk.
You smiled and shook your head as your eyes avoided his gaze. "I'm a merchant, not a pirate."
"We're headed for the Grand Line."
"All the more reason not to go. That place is treacherous," you retorted.
Sanji suddenly had a cocky smile. "You'll miss me."
You matched his smile. "I'll live."
"You'll miss my cooking," he rephrased. You rolled your eyes again, unable to respond.
Sanji, dejected, forced a smile despite the rejection. "If your mind's set."
You only watched as he departed, hands in his pockets as he watched his feet with every step he took. You, too, watched his feet as he left. You felt like you should be doing something to get him to stay – maybe change your mind and come with him, become a pirate.
It was the first time you had made a real connection with anyone. Even before entering the business of a sea merchant, you never really clicked with anyone, platonically nor romantically. Sure, there were people who were there, but they never really felt right.
As you watched his feet, you looked curiously as they stopped, then turned around. Your eyes travelled up to his eyes when he turned.
"Maybe I'll come see you once we've left the Grand Line – once I've found the All Blue."
He spoke as if he was confident that he would leave the Grand Line. You knew the chance was small, but you decided to hope that he would leave the Grand Line, too.
"I'll look forward to it."

Twice is a coincidence.
"Zoro, what's the deal with you and that merchant from Baratie?" Usopp had been the one to ask this time. The whole crew was curious, they just didn't want to pry, but the questioning and the lack of answers was getting to everyone.
"Please, just answer them. The asking is getting irritating," Nami complained as she looked at him.
They were currently strolling along a village they had come across while on the way to the Grand Line. They decided to stop by only with the purpose of buying supplies for the kitchen, yet everyone decided to come along. Everyone reckoned they needed a walk around for what they had gone through in just less than a month – what they had gone through ever since they became a part of Luffy's crew.
Zoro rolled his eyes and gave in. He told them the story of how he and you fought for a bounty, only for it to end in a draw.
Sanji smacked him upside the head as he finished telling the story of your first interaction. "You don't have a single ounce in you that's a gentleman, do you? How dare you fight her?"
"She was the one who challenged me," Zoro defended himself, facing the blonde.
"That's not an excuse." Sanji faced the moss head.
"She pissed me off."
"She had every right to after you tried claiming her find."
"You wanna take this somewhere else?!"
"Hey! Don't you dare fight or I swear, I'll knock you both out myself," Nami threatened.
At that, both men went silent. As they both turned to face the main street forward again, both pairs of eyes landed on you.
Sanji called your name again, in confusion and in surprise.
You hadn't heard, as you were in the market where all voices overlapped with each other.
"Oh, it's the bounty hunter!" Luffy exclaimed with a grin.
"Shh…! She might hear us!" Usopp covered his captain's mouth as they all kept their eyes on you.
"Her again?" Zoro groaned in frustration.
"Shut up, moss head." You were picking out fruits, picking the best ones then asking for their prices.
As Sanji watched you, a cigarette between his lips, he saw your eyebrows furrow, your eyes darting between the fruits in your hand and the merchant. Upon seeing the conversation begin to get heated, he quickly made his way to you without second thought.
The rest of the crew watched as Sanji spoke to you, still with the cigarette in his mouth. You had been surprised at his seemingly sudden appearance, though your anger quickly returned.
You spoke to him, though the crew wasn't near enough to hear exactly what you said, but all they knew was it was enough to rile their cook up as well.
Luffy scratched his head as he watched you and Sanji argue with the merchant who began to sweat anxiously. Sanji had approached you with the purpose of diffusing the tension, though he seemed to only add to it as he, too, became frustrated with the merchant and his product's pricing. His cigarette almost fell from how much he was yelling at the merchant.
"They're a perfect match," he concluded. The others agreed with hums.
"Zoro, you said you fought and it ended in a draw?" Luffy affirmed, his first mate nodding.
"Great! She's joining the crew."
"What?!" Everyone exclaimed at his quick decision making.
* * * * * *
Sanji found that the village they were now docked at was your hometown. You visited every once in a while to check in on your parents, who Sanji offered to cook for as the Straw Hat Pirates resided in your home for the day to rest.
You were one of the first to receive their captain's wanted poster, being considered an ally of the Marine despite you denying it time and time again. It was yet to be shown to the public, but you knew it was bound to appear in newspapers. It wasn't often that someone's first bounty would exceed the former highest's by 10 million Berries.
You would depart the next day and so would they, just in time to avoid having your parents seen as associates of the pirates.
Sanji offered you to join them again, telling you the captain's decision to invite you along as well.
You declined, again.
Sanji could see in your eyes that you wanted to, and not just because you wanted to join him. There was another reason that wasn't there the first time he gave you an invitation. Still, he knew he was in no position to pry.
You parted ways once again despite the both of you knowing you wanted the exact same thing.

Third time's a pattern.
Only a few weeks passed when you saw each other again. You saw him first this time, almost thinking your eyes were deceiving you as he shopped for kitchen knives, while you searched for a better sword.
This village was known for their blacksmith being the best in the East Blue, so you knew to head here after earning just enough Berries.
You slowly approached him as he examined knives. He caught sight of you from one's reflection, his leg swinging towards you in defense as he was surprised. Only halfway through his action did it process in his mind that it was you.
Still, though he couldn't stop himself, you deflected his leg with your forearm. You knocked him upside the head afterwards.
He rubbed his head to ease the pain. "You are good."
You didn’t ask how he knew of your abilities when he had never seen you fight. "Thank you."
You already knew he would ask what you were doing here. "I'm looking for a better sword," you answered his silent question, "I'm thinking it's about time. I recently turned in a million bounty, anyway."
"Good job, darling." Your eyes darted to his with surprise at the pet name, a chuckle leaving your lips as you looked away from his eyes that bore into yours.
"Thank you." He smiled as you tried to hide your flushed cheeks.
"Have you eaten? I'd love to cook lunch for you." It was comedic how he didn't trust any restaurant, only offering his own cooking every time you ran into each other. He knew you only deserve the best in everything, so he always offered you his cooking.
Still, you never really refused.
You had to admit that he had every right to be cocky about his cooking skills – he wasn’t just all talk, anyway. You do believe that he was the best chef in the East Blue – maybe even of all the Seas.
After finding the right sword for yourself, you walked through the market to buy supplies for lunch. Sanji couldn't help but complain to you how Luffy had consumed a month's worth of food in less than an hour just as they had left the village prior to this one.
You couldn't help but laugh as he told the story, imagining Sanji chasing Luffy around their ship and pleading to Nami for a lockable fridge. After buying meat and vegetables, you started to head back to the boat.
Luffy was more than delighted to see you, Usopp still a bit skeptical (it was only in his nature), and Nami welcomed you aboard. Zoro was asleep.
Sanji cooked lunch for you, making something special for you and Nami as well as dessert, staying by your side as you ate your food.
You stayed with them for dinner, as well, finding that you made a connection with the rest of the crew as well.
"Do you really not want to join?" Sanji asked for the third time, you only chuckled as you already expected the answer to pop up at some point. You sat with the crew on the main deck's floor, deciding to dine under the night sky instead of inside the cabin.
"Yeah, it’ll be fun, come on!" Luffy urged you on before stuffing his mouth with the contents of Usopp's plate.
"Hey!" Usopp scolded him as soon as he noticed his plate empty again.
"I thought you were heading for the Grand Line, what are you doing here?" You asked while Usopp stood and went to the kitchen.
"Don’t change the subject." Sanji caught your attempt, causing you to give him a sly smile.
"We were, but Luffy can’t keep his hands off our fridge.” Zoro glared at the oblivious captain who only continued to eat.
Nami hummed in agreement. "We keep needing to stop by islands to restock every other day, even if we stock a month's worth of food."
"Your turn to answer," Sanji urged, leaving you no choice but to do so.
"I’ve told you – I’m a merchant, not a pirate. I’m not in these seas for gold or adventure, I’m here to make a living."
"You’re a negotiator," Nami chimed in.
"And a good fighter!" Luffy exclaimed with a full mouth. You could only assume that Zoro had told them of your first encounter.
"Pirates don't negotiate," you chuckle out.
"Usually not, which is why we need a great fighter if things go south," Luffy explained persuasively.
"You already have good fighters on board," you motioned towards everyone.
"It wouldn't hurt to have one more."
You ran out of rebuttals.
"Still, I’m not joining a pirate group with him." You cocked your chin towards Zoro's way. He had finished his dinner and shut his eyes to go to sleep while still sitting with his arms crossed.
"Done, he’s off the group," Sanji concluded in a heartbeat.
"You don’t get to decide that," Zoro reminded him without opening his eyes.
Usopp had returned with a plate full of food while you had started rebutting. He kept his eyes on it the whole time, yet it disappeared the second he looked away to listen to what you were saying.
"LUFFY! Stop eating my dinner!"

Fourth time's a sign.
It was less of a surprise than a concern, the fourth time you ran into each other. You headed to Loguetown not long after you left the Straw Hats again. You arrived at the town and stayed for a few days.
You were currently in Captain Smoker's office. Usually, it was pirates that passed by Loguetown, as it was the island closest to the Reverse Mountain in the East Blue. He wasn’t expecting that his ex-subordinate’s merchant of a daughter would be found in a place such as this. He knew this was your father's hometown, but you being in his office told him you weren't here for family reasons.
"Will this take long?" You asked impatiently.
"Not at all." He pulled out a piece of paper. You waved your hand around the air in front of you, trying to swat away some of the smoke to see even a little bit of the writing on the paper.
He flipped the paper and slid it towards you. "State your purpose here, write your name here, sign here." He pointed at different lines on the paper.
"You will not be permitted if you’re after the One Piece," he informed you before you started writing, "You’ll be considered a pirate and arrested, effective immediately."
"And if my purpose is private?" You questioned.
He only sighed before replying, "You have to put something down."
At that, you began to fill up the details. "Your father, how is he?"
Your brows raised at his decision to make conversation. You knew he wasn't the best at it. "Fine. Better since he finally retired."
It was difficult taking care of your father. Once an ex-marine, then a merchant, his life had always been on the line especially in this age of pirates. You always worried and wondered whether or not your father would come home. It was only four years ago that he retired at the age of 71.
"And your mother?"
Your mother had been supportive of every decision you and your father made, finding that it would be difficult to get either of you to change your minds anyway.
She always wanted at least two children, though fell ill and became unable to before she could. Your mother always assured that you were enough, though she never really said it.
She was remorseful that you grew up alone, and you were sad that she never got to completely have what she wanted.
However, she had recently begun teaching art class to the children of your village as a way to pass the time. You were happy she did – it made her happy.
"She’s fine, too. Dropped by for a bit before I head for the Grand Line."
Silence filled the suffocating atmosphere that wasn't even as severe as when Captain Smoker would be alone in his office. As you finished filling up the form, you flipped the paper again to face him.
"I'm not going there for the One Piece, by the way."
"I thought you weren't," Captain Smoker affirmed, as if to elucidate the trust he had on you, despite your father's other connections.
He read your reasoning and seemed to be stuck on it. He glanced between you and the paper multiple times before he put out his cigar on the paper, putting out the fire so it didn't completely burn. That served as his seal of approval.
You left his office afterwards, and you couldn't help but scan the streets as you walked. It had become somewhat of a bad habit, looking for Sanji in every village you visited.
As if fate was on your side, maybe even rooting for you, you heard the certain North Blue accent of a certain blonde haired chef call out your name.
You cannot hide the smile from your face as you turn to face the source of his voice, and it is evident by the grin on his face that he was all the more elated to have been able to run into you just before he entered the Grand Line.
"What are you doing here?" You asked, though you already knew the answer.
"Heading for the Grand Line," he answered as if it didn't need to be questioned at this point, which it really didn't. "You?"
"Heading for the Grand Line," you mimicked with a grin.
Though you expected him to be joyful, his face fell with confusion. "What?"
"There's something I have to tell you," you admitted sheepishly. "Lunch?" You offered before you gave him the news.
He couldn't help but smile at your offer, knowing he couldn't refuse it.
* * * * * *
Sanji found out your favorite food in your hometown. Given that, to your parents, it was a blessing for you to come home, they had decided to cook your favorite food for you. It was a simple tonkatsu, yet he wanted to make it perfect for you – just the way your parents would make it.
You learned that every Straw Hat had gone to different parts of the town, looking into every shop and spoiling themselves for as long as they could before they entered the Grand Line.
Meanwhile, Sanji set aside the task of buying supplies to cook for you instead.
"Why are you suddenly going to the Grand Line?" He asked while chopping up a cabbage. You sat at the dining table of the place you rented for a few days.
"It was never my intention, I always planned to stay in the East Blue," you admitted. "But my father, he…" you couldn't help but chuckle at how ridiculous it was.
"He and an old friend hid their family treasure in the New World – swore to one day come back for it."
"Your father entered the Grand Line?" You nodded.
"He really did make the most of it during his golden age back then," you remarked.
"So now, you're going to the New World to get your family treasure back?" You nodded again.
"And his friend's. After everything my parents have done for me, I think this is the only way I can repay them. Especially since my father grows weaker everyday now."
He nodded in understanding. He moved to sit next to you while he waited for one side of the tonkatsu to cook. He usually wouldn't, but he wanted to savour the moment he had with you – to be as close as he could to you.
"So, would you want to join us, now?" He offered again.
He noticed you took longer than usual to respond.
"I can't."
Sanji chuckled, unable to feel gray by the fourth time you rejected him. "Do you at least think about it?"
You couldn't help but chuckle as well. "I've always travelled alone," you reasoned, "and I think this should be something that I do alone."
"Agree to disagree," Sanji decided.
"I'm still not changing my mind." He raised his hands in surrender and he stood to turn the tonkatsu to its other side.
"So, I guess this is the last time we see each other," you deduced.
"Unless we run into each other at the Grand Line," Sanji added.
"Right." You looked at each other for a moment, and being under his gaze suddenly made you feel small, so you straightened your posture as you and he made sure to take with you every detail of each other. You weren't even sure either of you would be able to enter the Grand Line safely, yet somehow you were both still confident that you would.
"There's different islands and different paths to take in the Grand Line," you brought up, implying that your paths may not cross again.
"Well, if it's our fate to meet again, I will continue to ask you," Sanji reassured.
You chuckled. "Your captain has the highest bounty in the East Blue, you might not even leave the town."
"Please, our captain's an idiot. People, even in the Grand Line, will underestimate him and end up regretting it." His tone was distracted as he spoke, his eyes darting between your eyes and your lips.
Your corner of your lips knowingly curled up to a smile, "You might meet other women."
"I will meet them, but I wouldn't pursue them – can you please just let me kiss you?" He asked impatiently. His eyes had settled on looking only at your lips by now. He knew by the smirk on your lips how you knew about his growing need to kiss you every time you two saw each other.
"Yeah, alright," your answer was all the more casual as if it didn't make your heart skip a beat to hear how desperate he had sounded. The words barely left your mouth before he had gently cupped your cheek and his lips met yours.
A groan left his lips and vibrated against yours as your hand tangled in his hair, his hand now resting to cup your jaw so he could feel how fast your heartbeat was from your pulse point.
You soon pulled away for air, your hand still in his hair and his on your cheek. Your foreheads touched as you leaned onto each other, both panting. You smiled and soon chuckled, pressing a kiss on the apple of his cheek.
"The food might burn," you reminded him that he was cooking.
He panted out a few more breaths and savoured the moment. It seemed as if the sentence you uttered took a moment to process in his brain after you had stupefied him with your kiss.
"Shit."
He quickly left your side, disconcerted as he overcooked one side of the tonkatsu.
Oh, well, he thought. He supposed he would have to endure eating this one if it meant you would have a perfect meal.
* * * * * *
Fifth time's an obstinacy.
It was as if your fates had been intertwined the moment you two first met.
You glanced at your Log Pose every once in a while as you waited for your order at the restaurant. As you did, you couldn't help but wonder where Sanji was at this point and time. It was taking quite some time for your Log Pose to record the direction to the next island with the path you chose to take, so you wondered if they were already far ahead of you.
"Man, I'm starving!" A familiar voice exclaimed upon entering the restaurant.
"You just finished eating every free sample at the market," another familiar voice responded, his tone nonchalant.
"Yeah, those were the appetizers!" You turned to face the entrance with a confused look, both heads immediately turning to face you, too.
"Oh, hey, it's you again!" Luffy walked towards your table, his first mate reluctantly following suit.
"What are you doing here?"
"We got lost, I think!" He announced as if it were something to boast about.
"Don't say it so confidently," Zoro scolded.
"Good to see you, moss head," you greeted with sarcasm.
"Hey, don't you start, too." You were about to give a snarky remark when Luffy spoke again.
"We just came from an island called Little Garden! We're planning on heading to Alabasta since we have their princess on board," Luffy explained, unknowingly preventing another duel between you and Zoro.
"For the record, we didn't kidnap her for ransom," Zoro cleared up due to the nature of Luffy's odd way of phrasing.
"Technically, we did, because Nami's asking for one billion Berries in return," Luffy argued.
"That's Nami we're talking about," Zoro retorted.
"Oh, waiter! I would like to order, please!" Luffy's voice boomed at the restaurant.
"Where's Sanji?" You asked. Your eyes had scanned around in search of the chef the moment you saw Luffy and Zoro, though you knew deep down that Sanji would only trust his own cooking. He would probably even scold you if he caught you dining here.
"Buying food supplies," Luffy responded while still eyeing the waiter who was serving another table.
"You ate it all again, didn't you?"
Luffy grinned at how well you seemed to know him. "I did!"
He was an open book – he seemed oblivious of the fact.
The waiter soon arrived with your food and Luffy took the chance to order every dish on the menu.
"Oh. Zoro, do you have any money?" Luffy had asked in the middle of his fourteenth dish. Zoro only looked at him, then they turned to you in unison.
Your eyes widened at the pair. You had finished your meal by Luffy's eighth dish, yet you stuck around both because of your amusement and manners.
You cleared your throat and looked away from their gazes, slowly taking out a few Berries that were enough for your meal before you stood and fled from the restaurant.
You could hear Luffy's frantic exclamations from outside the restaurant, growing distant as you continued to run.
You let out a surprised exclamation as you ran into someone upon your lack of focus. They had stopped you from completely crashing onto their chest by grabbing you by the shoulders.
He called your name and your head whipped up to face him.
"Sanji!" You grinned and threw your arms around his neck in an embrace, glad that he had entered the Grand Line safely. He wrapped his arms around your waist as well, lifting you off the ground as his grip tightened a bit.
He placed your feet back down on the ground a moment later, pulling away from the hug.
"Glad to see me again?" You teased.
"Very much, darling," he didn't attempt to deny, a wide grin now on his lips.
You noticed that he was with Nami, Usopp, and an unfamiliar woman with blue hair. You greeted the pair and gave the woman a puzzled look.
"This is Vivi," Nami introduced her, telling Vivi your name as well.
"It's nice to meet you," Vivi uttered sheepishly.
"Oh, are you the princess?" You presumed, panting from your running.
"Wait, you know?" Usopp questioned with confusion.
"I ran into your captain and swordsman. They almost trapped me into paying for their lunch at the restaurant." You pointed your thumb over your shoulder at the restaurant ahead of them.
"That's our captain for you." Nami shook her head in disapproval as she looked at the restaurant.
"Would you like to join us for lunch?" Sanji offered, smiling. "I'd be delighted to cook your favorite for you again."
You gladly accepted.
You were once again found boarding the Going Merry. Luffy and Zoro were yet to return, and presumably got lost, so Usopp volunteered to return to the village to search for them.
Once Vivi and Nami retreated to their shared room and left the two of you alone in the kitchen, you couldn't keep your hands off each other.
Your lips met again and things turned heated until you soon had to stop yourselves and let Sanji prepare the crew's lunch.
Sanji had a sly grin on his face as he buttoned back up his top button that you had unconsciously unbuttoned.
"I'm still not becoming a pirate." You could see the question coming from a mile away now.
Sanji clicked his tongue in playful annoyance. "Think about it."
"I have!" You chuckled as you spoke.
"And do you see yourself coming with us?" It took you a while to respond, contemplating whether or not you should tell the truth.
"I do," you admitted.
"So why don't you want to?"
"Because I feel like I'll forget what my goal is when I'm with you." He seemed taken aback by your response. "I forget about everything else when I'm around you. I forget there's a whole world with real people beyond that door and that it's not just you and me."
"I won't let you forget it," he reassured you, "I'll be there to support you, to help you."
He took your hands in his. "It pains me to be parted from you."
You rolled your eyes at how cheesy he sounded. "You'll live."
"I'll live in agony." You couldn't help but chuckle despite how serious he sounded. You squeezed his hands in comfort.
"Well, I do recall my father telling me that his friend left a clue somewhere in Alabasta." His eyes lit up at the thought of seeing you again, of having certainty of when and where you'll be able to meet again.
"Suppose I head there next; are you willing to find me?"
"I would scour all of the Blue Seas to find you."
Your heart jumped. "Then it's a date."
* * * * * *
It had only been two weeks since you last saw Sanji. You had encountered one more island, an autumnal kingdom, before you arrived at Alabasta.
Your father and his friend had made a riddle. It was almost as if you were on a scavenger hunt on the world's most dangerous land and waters.
In a desert land where droughts hold sway,
Soon an oasis, you'll find me one day.
But don't expect to see a mirage's grace,
I'm real, with life, by North's palace.
Rainbase. It had to be. It took days for you to travel to the location, the desert just as deadly as the open waters of the Grand Line.
You looked at the map of Alabasta, with it the piece of paper with the riddle your father had given you. In the event that neither he nor his friend would be able to return to their treasure, they decided to mark their clues with their initials.
And so, the paper was signed 'A.P. & G.D.R.'
Though there was commotion near the casino, you scoured the streets and alleys of Rainbase to find any sort of clue. Once you were sure to have checked every alley, your shoulders sagged as you failed to find the clue. It was only when you entered the pub that you found what you were looking for.
There was a wall of photographs in the corner of the pub. You drank a bottle of beer as your eyes scanned the unfamiliar faces of the pub's patrons.
You almost spat your beer out when you found one of your father and his friend. You unpinned it to take a closer look, noticing that it was slightly indented at some parts. You turned the picture around and found another riddle written with messy handwriting. It matched that of the riddle in your possession.
Way up high a place God is resided,
On stolen land from which its people are prohibited,
With fate and luck you will reach this land of Vearth,
Found far within the clouds where you will prove your worth.
– A.P. & G.D.R.
…What was that supposed to mean?
Rainbase was a piece of cake to decipher, but this one seemed to be utter nonsense.
You supposed it was up to par with how the Grand Line was. Nothing made sense and everything made you clueless.
You walked away from the wall, glum as you headed for the exit, when the bartender called for you.
He had been bartender long enough to recognize your father's face and your resemblance of him. He gave you something your father and his friend had left – something they entrusted to him to keep until someone came looking for clues.
Your eyes widened as you looked at the gold coin with Gol D. Roger's Jolly Roger. His flag had long fallen, yet the coin still assured your protection so long as you had it on your person as you continued in your journey.
And so, you left the pub with a photograph and a rare treasure.
"Oh!" Someone called your name just as you were walking back to the inn. You lifted your head off the ground to see Sanji up ahead.
A smile immediately found its way to your lips as you began to approach him, his arms raising as an invitation to an embrace.
You burrowed your face into his chest as you hugged him, his chest vibrating as he chuckled upon seeing you again.
"I hope you didn't miss me too much," he remarked.
You shrugged with nonchalance. "I survived," you retorted.
He had a cigarette between his lips that curled up at your reply. His hand took yours. "Come on."
Your eyes widened as he began running, leading you along. "Where, exactly?"
He forced a laugh to lessen your soon-to-be anxiety. "Err…Me and the gang are sort of on the run from Crocodile."
"The Warlord?!" He nodded.
"We got split up, but we're headed towards Alubarna to stop a war," he said too casually. You sighed exasperatedly.
"Nothing's ever dull with you guys, is it?" He only laughed.
* * * * * *
You successfully helped stop a war.
Luffy had fought and successfully defeated Crocodile. Unfortunately, he had been poisoned in the process, though was quickly given an antidote. This caused him to be in a three-day coma which fortunately left the rest of the crew to rest as well.
Since the last time you first saw them, you found that they recruited a reindeer doctor that had eaten the Human Human Devil Fruit.
You and Sanji decided to go out for dinner during those three days. By that, it means that Sanji cooked a five-course meal for just the two of you. You insisted that he didn't need to, but he insisted otherwise.
You both had taken hits and gained wounds during your attempt at preventing a war, so Sanji made sure to implement food that would help your wounds heal faster and give you more strength.
He told you the story of how they had met and recruited Chopper, the reindeer doctor. Nami had fallen ill days after their stay at an island called Little Garden. He also told you how the island had dinosaurs and two giants who had been in a century-long fight for a reason they didn't even remember anymore.
He told you of Baroque Works and the members they had come across and defeated, and how Crocodile had secretly been the organization's boss.
You noticed that he was yet to ask you the question that came every time you came across each other. Throughout your night, you waited, and it never came. You supposed he had come at peace with your seemingly compelled answer that never changed every time he asked you.
By the third day of your stay in Alubarna, Luffy finally woke. His crew was quick to devise a plan to leave the kingdom before the sun rose to quickly get back to your ships.
Vivi was torn between staying for her kingdom or joining the Straw Hat Pirates, so they had given her twelve hours to decide, which was just enough for their ship to pass by the eastern part of Alabasta and let Vivi board if she ever decided to join them.
Vivi chose her kingdom. She bid the Straw Hats farewell during her coming-of-age speech, staying by the coast as she showed off her 'X' tattoo that matched the others. It was a symbol that said no matter where they were, they would always be a Straw Hat Pirate.
The others had shown off theirs, too, while they sailed away from Alabasta.
Now, you remained on the Going Merry. Your boat was connected to the ship by rope. You were lounging at the main deck with the crew.
"We'll untie your boat from ours once we get far enough away from the Marines," Nami explained.
"Alright…" You replied, seemingly distracted.
Naturally, Sanji was the first to notice this. "Something on your mind, love?"
You had gotten used to the pet names at this point. You looked up at the ship's Jolly Roger as you rethought your decision one last time.
You closed your eyes. "Fine," you started.
You opened your eyes to see everyone looking at you curiously and expectantly.
"I'll join your crew," you clarified.
In the blink of an eye, Luffy lifted you to your feet and began to dance you around in celebration, Usopp and Chopper joining in. You couldn't help but chuckle at their delight.
Once the moment passed, Sanji approached you and held your hand.
"Are you sure?"
You smiled up at him. "I've thought about it a lot, like you said."
You looked around at the faces you've come across multiple times already. "And I guess I wouldn't mind being with a few friends – the journey to the New World is long, anyway."
You turned to Sanji. He had been looking at you with a smile.
Then, he suddenly swept you up into his arms and kissed you right there and then, finding himself too overwhelmed with emotions to say anything – so he just kissed you.
Most of the crew let out a surprised exclamation while Luffy began to laugh gleefully.
Nami was about to scold the cook as she saw your flushed face when you pulled away and chuckled sheepishly.
"Not in front of the crew," you spoke through gritted teeth as you gently smacked him upside the head.
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, I got carried away."
"Sanji! This calls for a celebration! Cook something for us!" The Straw Hat Captain boomed.
"Aye-aye, captain!"
The door to the cabin swung open just as Sanji began to approach it. He halted in his steps.
"So, we've finally left the island?" Nico Robin, Miss All-Sunday, seemed to have snuck on board.
"...AAAHH!"

SxF 96 Analysis: Some Small Details About the Reveal
Ok, hear me out. I haven't even read the manga for Spy x Family (yet); I've only watched seasons 1 and 2 of the anime, but I've somehow stumbled upon spoilers for the last two chapters (ch. 95 and ch. 96), and other small bits here and there.
And since I am not totally caught up on the story, I hesitate to call this a proper analysis since I'm mostly going off of what I know from the anime at this point. But!
I've been following the chatter and excitement following chapter 96 and I just wanted to throw this quick analysis out there, since I haven't seen some of these details mentioned yet.
So, I'm going to focus on this particular moment, just for what it is. Down the line, after catching up and having all of the character and story details, I might revisit this scene again with additional insight.
Of course, I'm sure we've all seen this panel at this point.
Tumblr media
At first glance, this panel is beautifully drawn. You can tell that it was drawn with a lot of care and attention to detail. Typically, such manga panels are used to emphasize the fact that this is an important moment for these characters and/or the story.
There are even bits of confetti(?) flying around them, reminiscent of cherry blossom petals; this is another known technique used in manga to indicate the emotional importance of a scene for the characters featured.
That all feels pretty obvious, I'm sure. But I also wanted to point out other small details given here, which could potentially add another layer to this scene for folks.
I've seen a lot of discussion around how Anya's admission here is a big deal (and it is). But I haven't seen anyone mention the small detail here that she whispers, "I can read people's minds."
I believe that is also why we see that speech bubble transparently -- to visually show us the softness of her voice in that moment (in addition to representing Anya's willingness to be transparent about herself).
However, let's consider the conversation up until this moment. Right before, Damian had jokingly asked her, "How did you know about my dog and the pond, anyway? What, did you read my mind or something?!"
Of course, he was not expecting Anya to say, "Yes". But it's not the fact that Anya said, "Yes" that makes this scene impactful. Anya could have easily said the exact same words, at normal volume, with a smirk on her face, and nobody would think twice about it. Damian would have immediately understood that she was teasing him. And anyone overhearing their conversation would have thought the exact same thing.
But that isn't what happened. Because Anya was serious in that moment. With a genuine expression on her face, she says, "Yes" and then she whispers her secret to him.
And that is what shocks Damian. That is what causes him to freeze.
In that moment, he's able to sense her sincerity and hear the truth in her words.
His gut reaction is to believe her, whether it's because it's Anya or because of how she said it. It isn't until he has a second to think and his brain kicks into gear that he starts to notice the disparity between what he knows to be true and what Anya is telling him. In a split second, he questions this, and then ultimately rejects the notion that she could be telling the truth.
Why?
The obvious answer would be that what she's told him does not line up with what he knows to be true of reality. The rational and logical part of his brain overrides his heart and his gut, ultimately recognizing this disparity and forcing him to reject Anya's claims.
However, they are at a young enough age that it wouldn't be uncommon to easily believe in "impossible" things like magic or superpowers. So, there's also a chance that it goes a bit deeper than this.
Perhaps this sudden display of sincerity and truth from Anya didn't line up with her typical behavior with him. He's not used to seeing that side of her, and as a result, his mind resorts to him thinking that she's lying to him. He thinks that she's just teasing him. Not only because that's what he expects from her, but also because the only other alternative would be for him to admit that they've just shared a true moment of openness and transparency between them.
Anya's whisper implies, "this is only for you to know." As a defense mechanism, Damian's brain decided that it was more likely that Anya was teasing him than it was that she was being vulnerable with him in that way.
Tumblr media
Another detail from this moment stems from the fact that this reveal takes place while they are dancing together. Partner dancing is an activity that requires cooperation and teamwork. At first, we see Damian and Anya struggle with getting the hang of it, but eventually they start working together.
That, in itself, seems to be a fairly good representation of their relationship with each other. However, even more so, it follows the flow of their conversation in this moment. It isn't until they start cooperating that they start to open up to one another.
And the pinnacle of the conversation -- the reveal -- happens at the exact moment when Damian dips her. Not only does this make for a picturesque panel, but it is also a symbolic visual of what's happening.
Dipping your dance partner inherently requires a level of trust. The person being dipped has to literally put themselves in their partner's hands. Depending on the dip, they are giving up varying levels of control and safety over to their partner. They have to trust that their partner won't drop them, or bring them too close to the floor; they have to give up their balance and trust that their partner can hold the weight that they're giving up. And their partner takes on the responsibility and burden of that person's trust (as well as trusting that the person that they're dipping does not throw themselves around carelessly).
And here, in this scene, despite the bickering we see Anya and Damian do, we see that there is at least that small amount of trust between them. Anya trusts Damian to dip her, and Damian trusts Anya to be dipped.
But underneath the surface level, the fact that Anya whispers her secret to Damian while he's dipping her reinforces the idea that she trusts him with that knowledge. In that moment, she gave up some of her own control and safety, and placed it in Damian's hands. Only his. Her whisper implies, "this is only for you to know." And he's been given the responsibility and burden of deciding whether to hold it, or drop it.

Note
hello hello, may I request a Jolyne Cujoh concept? :3
Man I love girly sm.... Sorry for the long wait!
Yandere! Jolyne Cujoh Concept
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Clingy behavior, Stalking, Violence, Jealousy, Blood, Threats, Overprotective behavior, Delusional behavior, Dubious companionship/relationship.
Tumblr media
From what I've seen/remember of her, Jolyne would have two different dynamics.
I imagine around her darling she's submissive and clingy.
She thrives off attention from her obsession.
Any attention will do, too.
She cares deeply for her obsession, often becoming very receptive to you.
However, Jolyne can be cruel and determined.
She may be affectionate and caring with her obsession, but she can just be mean to others at times.
There's times in the manga/anime where she's just savage as she goes through her part.
She's fun-loving, extroverted, and always wants to help...
Yet can easily sabotage others with her Stand.
She no doubt considers her obsession as part of her close friend group in prison.
Regardless on if you're new here or not, she's quick to judge your character and make you her obsession.
Jolyne does seem like she'd be obsessed fast once she deems you as an ally. Not Anasui fast, but fast.
She's interesting due to how fast she can go from genuinely affectionate to masking.
For example, if an inmate or guard is causing trouble for you, Jolyne sabotages them quickly with Stone Free.
She'd do downright anything to impress you, too.
I feel she's similar to Josuke and Johnny (maybe even Giorno) when it comes to that.
She just wants your attention on her.
She'd straight up knock someone messing with you down using Stone Free before going to coo at you, asking if you're okay and not bothered.
In private she definitely threatens other inmates.
For example, maybe she's jealous of your cellmate for having more time around you?
She'd be cruel enough to make that cellmate a target.
She doesn't seem like she's a yandere most of the time.
She's clingy and judging of others at times, yet usually so nice with you.
She plays off her darker behavior well, the first few times she's caught make her nervous...
But she just learns from her mistakes and hides it more.
She's always all smiles with you.
I imagine Jolyne is easily jealous and hates it when her obsession ignores her.
She never leaves your side and often hates it when she has to part from you.
If you refuse to acknowledge her presence then she pouts and steps in front of you.
There's times she's impatient and snappy with both you and others.
But immediately apologizes to you.
She believes her obsession is a good person no matter what.
These thoughts can be genuine or delusional depending on the type of person you are.
Jolyne wouldn't be very forceful with her obsession.
She's fine as long as you pay attention to her and would do just about anything for it.
It's shown in her part that she's not afraid of killing others due to what she's gone through.
She'd use it as a last resort but she's capable.
She prefers just to use sabotage or non-lethal violence, similar to her father.
Jolyne seems like she'd be unable to take her hands off you.
I mean as in hugs and maybe more depending on her intentions.
She'd want to protect you in the prison you're both trapped in and maybe even break you out with her.
Oh, speaking of which, you being in the prison makes escape harder.
You can't leave, you're stuck with her, and she's enjoying every second of it.
Jolyne's overall behavior teeters between submissive and intimidating.
She knows how to get you to like and trust her, but she also knows how to keep others away from you. She's a no-nonsense type of person.
You're the only one she acts clingy with and lets her guard down fully with.
Unless you betray that trust, you don't want to do that....
She knows how to get you to listen by just acting cute around you.
However, just because she acts tame doesn't mean she's harmless.
She can be just as bad as her father, Jotaro, at times.
Sometimes she may even lose her patience around you and snap.
She's quick to correct herself.
She's manipulative even when she doesn't mean it.
She just can't help it but follow you around the prison.
Enemy Stand Users are bad news, yeah?
So... she just can't leave you alone.
Which leads her to "stalking" you (she doesn't see it as that, of course).
Why are you even worried about her getting into fights?
People die in prisons all the time.
She always tells you they're going to harm you if she's not around.
Guards can take advantage, inmates could mug you...
Your best option is with her, right?
Jolyne will never harm you.
She's overbearing, but swears to only help you.
At some point in this place... the blood on her hands doesn't matter anymore.
Jolyne can tell you she means well and adores you all she wants...
But you're still trapped here with her with no form of escape possible.
