My cats have an obsession with stepping on my laptop constantly, and i mean all the time. They open tabs, apps, turn thing on and off but most importantly they type.

One of them just did this and i thought it was so insightful i had to share, and ig this is a little leak of the next chapter

no miraculous aged-up AU where Plagg is a shitty stray that Adrien fed at his balcony one too many times and just decided to stay. Marinette is in love with Adrien and was always so charmed about him telling her about the stray cat that he takes care of, but then she goes over and finally meets this absolute Menace of a Feral Cat that attacks and destroys and eats everything it touches and hates Every Human except Adrien. Marinette cries to Alya about how Adrien will never love her if she can't get his cat to approve of her. Cue Marinette agreeing to catsit for him and a series of unfortunate circumstances of Marinette screaming and chasing Plagg around the apartment while he Destroys Everything. Adrien comes back horrified to Marinette bloodied and mauled and scratched all over her body with a big proud smile on her face and Plagg purring in her lap. (it turns out cheese was the answer)

Alex slowly wakes up. There’s a heavy presence across their entire torso, not painful but they can feel their legs starting to go numb. Whatever it is, it’s rumbling, like the sound of a lawnmower muffled by several walls.

Alex opens their eyes fully.

That’s Clyde. On their bed. Solidly keeping them from moving and purring like a motorcycle engine.

Alex turns their head to check the alarm clock, but it’s not there. It is, however, flung across the room and halfway broken on the ground. It’s clear that it already went off, and that Clyde did not want to be woken up. If they want to be on time for work then they need to leave five minutes ago.

They try to shimmy their way out from underneath the veldigun. Damn, Clyde is heavy, and Alex physically can’t just push it off unless they want their bones to fuse with their skin. The blanket and comforter are the only things between them and an eldritch creature that could end their life as they know it just by touching them.

Anyone would be concerned about the Eastridge Demon. Alex, however, has given it too many sandwiches by now to be scared and just wants an excuse for why they’re going to be late to work.

Surely Clyde is gonna wake up soon, right? There isn’t much sunlight coming through the window; the sky is blanketed with clouds, and there’s a light drizzle of rain. It must have stormed last night; Alex faintly remembers hearing the pattering of rain against the roof. No wonder Clyde didn’t want to go outside. 

Alex suddenly remembers something else, something that they learned through the Asylum. Veldigun are nocturnal hunters. Meaning that veldigun sleep through the day. 

Meaning that Alex is going to be here for a while.

Alex sighs. When a coworker asks why they didn’t arrive today, they’ll just say it was their cat. It’s a close enough excuse.

how long does it take you to draw your sketches/doodles? also do you have any tips to draw faster? 🙇‍♀️

I generally take 30 - 60 minutes a sketch,,,, but honestly really depends on how detailed it is.

Like a Chibi will be done in 20 - 25 minutes (Counting in the extra time I spend on minute details like a perfectionist 😭)

I for some reason really like spending egregious amounts of time on random objects too??? Unless it’s the in the background, I’ll spend 40 minutes refining it.

Random characters that are fully colored and rendered with take like 80 minutes.

The comics take usually take an hour or two per page. (If I decide to cross hatch it, my entire day will be gone with 4 pages… so I’ve been trying to find shortcuts. But not without sacrificing the quality for time lol)

I don’t think there’s any trick or magic to drawing faster. It’s really about weaponizing your artistic knowledge, and finding what’s comfortable or convenient for you!

There was a period of time where I would spend 11 or 12 hours on an illustration, and it wASS UGLYYYYY. (Some of these artworks are still available on my tumblr,,, but it’s SO LONG AGO, AND IT WAS MY 1ST OR 2ND YEAR GETTING INTO DIGITAL ART)

Overtime I learned what worked best for me, and practiced till I felt more comfortable with what I was drawing. Eventually I managed to shorten the time to 4 hours or less! Ambition was my biggest enemy but at the same time my biggest motivator. (And it still is LMFAO) 😭

EDIT (bit more to my way too long tangent): ALSO??? BRO DON’T BE AFRAID TO USE YOUR MESSY SKETCH AS LINEART OR DRAW ON TOP OF IT. I’VE DONE IT FOR YEARS NOW AND IT ADDS SUCH A GOOD EXTRA BIT OF TEXTURE,, AT THIS POINT I DON’T EVEN USE LINE-ART ANY MORE UNLESS IT’S A COMMISSION,, (IT’LL ADD LIKE AN 2-4 HOURS TO MY WORK)

it has occurred to me just how good my darling cat is at pushing buttons, both physically and metaphorically. she's got this toy that's has a feather thing that slides around under a skirt and it's turned on by a small button on the top— she's learned how to push this button a long time ago. she's accidentally pushed the power button on my pc tower a few times, scaling it in a rush to hand me her wand toy, but just this last week alone she's located the power button on my backup battery and pressed it just long enough to turn it off PLUS a few times where i have heard it click and was able to shoo her way in time before it cut power to everything on my desk. i think she's doing this deliberately. she has to go out of her way to press this button. she KNOWS it's on the big black box next to the pretty green light and if she pushes it she gets ATTENTION. my cat is a MENACE.

Cat hybrids twins headcanon is my favorite not only because cats are super cute and awesome but also because I adore the mental image of them purring in satisfaction or joy while threatening or killing people
