ELDWIN

-He is the 2nd-born of 5 children

-He's worked a wide range of jobs between the ages of 12-14, from factory work, to graverobbing. The worst of which was scavenging for lost valuables on the shores of rivers, dockyards and even sewers.

-He was once grounded for a month (the rest of summer) after kneeing an older boy in the crotch for throwing stones at pigeons. And for doubling down on it. He flat out refused to apologise.

JOWAN

-He only drinks water, or coffee. Nothing else.

-His favourite subject in school was actually geography.

-If he had lived a normal life and gone to medical school properly, he probably would have specialised in Cardiology. He finds it the most interesting.

ABIGAIL

-Her childhood dream was to capture Mewtwo irl.

-She had a stutter as a child. She is mostly okay now as long as she's calm and speaks slowly. It may come back in moments of high stress or anxiety.

-She's left-handed.

Part 1

Warnings: referenced captivity, referenced torture (unspecified), catatonia, blood, scrapes, hurt/aftermath, head injury

Two days. Two days had passed since Caretaker sat Whumpee in their car and doctored their wounds. Two days had passed since they got Whumpee out of Whumper's compound. Two days. And Whumpee hadn't uttered a word.

Caretaker was sure that Whumpee just needed more time. Just needed some quiet and peace to realize they were safe. Then the normally bright and bubbly Whumpee would be back.

But that hadn't happened yet. Caretaker wasn't even sure they had seen Whumpee eat or drink anything. They just lay in their bed, curled up and silent. Caretaker had come in several times a day to check Whumpee's scabbed over wrists and to try and coax Whumpee into eating something.

"Whumpee, would you like something to eat?" Caretaker asked softly from the door.

Whumpee didn't respond. It was as though Caretaker wasn't even there.

"Please, Whumpee, let me bring you something. Or come out into the kitchen with me." Caretaker touched Whumpee's shoulder softly.

Whumpee began to scream and thrash violently, desperately trying to get away from Caretaker.

"Whumpee! Whumpee!" Caretaker shouted over Whumpee's screams. "You're safe. I've got you!"

But Whumpee didn't hear Caretaker. They continued to scream as they fell off the bed. Continued to scream as they scrambled back. And they screamed until they hit their head on the bureau and went still.

"Whumpee! Whumpee, no!" Caretaker rushed forward as Whumpee slumped to the side, their eyes unfocused and hazy. Whumpee flinched as Caretaker touched them, but didn't fight.

"It's ok, I've got you," Caretaker murmured softly as they lifted Whumpee up. "I'm just going to get you some help. You'll be right as rain soon." Caretaker walked to their car. They had to get Whumpee to the hospital. Between the rapidly growing bump on the back of Whumpee's head and their refusal to eat or drink anything, Whumpee needed help. And it was the kind that Caretaker couldn't give.

hey, it's me! i'm still alive, somehow, though just barely. this semester has been pretty tough so far and will probably remain that way until spring. despite this, i managed to add some fun new features. : ) ALSO i promise 100000% that if you sent me an ask i WILL answer it. i will. anyway, look at all those cool things! -> a system for cuts, bruises, tattoos, wounds and other decorations your whumpee's skin is an empty canvas. whether you fill it with scars and wounds or cutesy band aids is up to you!

the way this is set up is kind of like a bunch of stickers. so for example, if you decide to hurt the lil' guy with something sharp, he'll get a "stab wound" sticker in the spot you decided to target. over time, that sticker will change over to a "stab scar" one. it's a very flexible way to do things, but it still needs some work and a couple big changes, since it's very unfriendly to low-end computers. in terms of visuals though, it should look exactly the same as the decal-based "decorations" for your whumpee that you see above!

- a better way of getting that dude on camera the camera system is now a lot more immersive and will fit the story. the awkward developer cam that could clip into walls is no more.

you can drag around the view and zoom in and out by scrolling. as you progress, you'll get access to even more ways to invade your whumpee's privacy. : )

-> new ways to get horny in the last devlog post (around 1000 years ago) i said that you won't see any "horny accessories" in the upcoming updates. that was a complete lie, sorry! here's a preview of some cool new horns you can give to your whumpee.

the neat part is that the horns are customizable - other than just choosing the shape, you can modify their size and color gradient. -> other stuff + story i've made plenty of changes and additions to the back end. most of it is not flashy or super significant - most of the time and energy i could dedicate to the project went right into fueling the violent, bloody conflict between me and custom shader code. i've also made some updates to how time is simulated and fixed a bunch of bugs. there is now a sound system too! i'll look for some copyright-free sfx and music before the next update. oh, and there's some lore too!

Abt casty being studied in the lab,do the lab has any morals of "we're doing this for the greater good" or is it just "lets fuck around and find out: no anesthesia edition"

Nah the lab is just fucking around. It also ends up being a sort of secret death row for most kingdoms, so the vast majority of the people who end up at that lab are criminals. The general populace don't even know about the lab's existence, as it's on some remote islands in the middle of the sea.

So the data gathered, and all the organs harvested from the dead, are shared with all participating kingdoms and likely used for good, the people there are not given any kind of comfort because they're there as punishment. Castys was the Pirate King when he was captured, but honestly the lab would have caught him even if he wasn't. They study "interesting" people on the DL ✨ but those are a rare occurance

“Leave me alone!”

The boy yells as Levi picks him out of the baby chair, his shirt covered with oatmeal. Finn made Levi drop it when he was trying to feed him.

“Shut up. You’ll take a bath- S-Stop moving!”

He says as he holds the boy tightly. But Finn doesn’t give up, he keeps kicking his legs, trying to bite and punch his captor. But nothing helps… He’s too weak.

Finn is carried out of his room. He can see a rather dark hallway that looks like it belongs to a creepy basement. On the opposite side of his door is another one, but instead of it being light green. It’s in a soft pastel pink, and as he looks to his left he notices a door by the end of the hallway, with a light blue door.

Levi carries him a little down the hallway before entering another door. This time it’s a bathroom. Still no windows and held rather minimalistically except for three baskets on the floor, each with toys in a specific color. Pink, blue and green…

The man sits finn down on the floor and the boy doesn’t waste a second, quickly getting up on his legs before Levi grabs him by the back of his collar.

“Stay still- Daddy’s very upset that you ruined your shirt finny! Behave now or you’ll have to get punished again”

The boy whimpers as Levi makes him stand up straight, staring to take off his clothes. Finn looks down on the floor with an extremely humiliated and upset expression. It takes a few minutes until he was fully undressed.

Levi motions him to sit down on the toilet seat while he runs him a warm bath.

“Do you want apple or vanilla?”

The man says as he holds up two bottles of bubble bath, smiling down at him.

Finn just rolls his eyes.

“Fuck you.”

Finn says before Levi makes a small gasp, tightly gripping the boys cheek with two of his fingers, pulling on it.

“Who taught you that language? You know daddy raised you better than that!”

The boy whines as the stronger man hurts him, his cheek bruising a bit.

“I don’t want a bath!”

Finn says protesting, before Levi picks him up and quickly sits the boy down in the bath, a little bit of water splashing because of how roughly he puts him down.

“No bubbles for you then.”

He says, rather disappointed before Finn can’t help but make another comment.

“I don’t give a fu-“

The boy is muted again as his gag is shoved in his mouth and tied around his head and Levi grabs some ropes to tie the boys wrists together.

“I’m sorry baby but if you keep resisting this is the only way to get you obedient”

He says before grabbing the shower head and turning it on to the hottest setting. Holding it right to the boys face.

My favorite kind of caretaker, in fact. One with the guardian instinct, and then the raw POWER to back it up.

Some ideas:

- when whumpee is at the bottom of the food chain in a prison, or a lab, or gladiator ring. They get picked on by everyone. Broken bones on a weekly basis, and no where near enough food. Then they endear themselves to caretaker, and suddenly things change. One of whumpee's whumpers goes after them like usual and caretaker thrashes them immediately. Beats them half to death and announces to the rest of the occupants that they showed a good deal of restraint. Anyone to make a move against whumpee will face far worse.

- whumpee pleading with caretaker not to kill someone.

- whumpee being the only one who can calm caretaker down.

- "Lay a finger on them and I will take your arm off."

- "So whumpee, you've got yourself a dog."

- "What a monster."

- angst: whumpee comes sobbing to caretaker after being attacked and instead of stopping to comfort whumpee they rush off to go hunting for the perpetrator.

- coup de gras: the freeze of caretaker's blood when they hear whumpee scream (or scream their name.) And the storm that arrives when they reach them.

- caretaker's wrath makes the earth shake ♥️
