The bar is absolutely in hell for Willy (and Cathy). A middle aged man with access to every resource can only devote a few mins a day to learning stock tourist phrases to hold a title that affords such privilege.

Do you think the Prince of Wales is going to survive past him? If I was Welsh, monarchist or not, I’d question what purpose it serves anymore given what a mockery Willy Dolittle makes of the responsibility it should come with.

Honestly, I was surprised William went to Wales when it's not St. David's Day. He's been to Wales TWICE this year!

I have a hard time believing that William will ever make George The Prince of Wales. I've long been convinced that one of the reasons why Charles gave William the title was to light a fire underneath his ass to start working.

William doesn't to care at all about Wales. His comments about Wales only seems to be that he enjoyed living there with Kate. What else does he like about Wales? We don't know because he's never specified anything, which means he probably doesn't care about anything Welsh other than his specific patronages, such as rugby.

Grown man in his 40s with a "fans" that like to tout his university degree and how "smart" he is. Doesn't seem smart enough to learn another language. He doesn't speak any language fluently and clearly never will.

Another day. Another day of being trapped in St. Gabriel's Church. Cathy, Fred and George should have become accustomed to the shackles that O'Brien put them in. But he opted to tie their wrists together with rope which caused it to dig into their skin.

It wasn't them either. No, they weren't alone. Two familiar people, one with a head of white hair, the other wearing a familiar white hoodie, were there too.

Jonah tried to get out of his binds, causing the rope to rub against his skin. Despite the burning, he continued to try and untie it. Mark, however, just stared at the floor, completely lost in thought.

O'Brien stepped into the room, smiling a smile that would've been comforting in a normal setting, but in the group's case, it brought chills. "Ahhh, I see we've brought some guests! Hmm... What shall I do today?"

Fred glared at the blonde man while the small girl tried to make herself even smaller.

"Hm. No willing participants? Tch, how boring."

"You..." Mark finally spoke.

"Hm?"

He slowly lifted his head and glared at him, a burning hatred in his eyes. "You lied to me. You told me you didn't know where the triplets were. You... You've been hiding them in your basement the whole time! When the police find us, they're gonna lock you up!"

O'Brien simply chuckled. "How? The police don't have a single clue where they are. They're stumped. No one will find them or you or your friend. You could've lived your life completely clueless, but you just had to stick your nose where it doesn't belong!"

"What about Jonah?! He's innocent too!"

"Him? He's just street trash. An absolute nobody. No one will even give him a second thought when he'll be gone."

Cathy growled and tried to stand up, but was quickly stopped by his blade. "Now, now, we don't want anyone making any false moves. If you do..." He made a slashing motion with his unarmed hand across his throat.

"You sick motherfucker..." Jonah spat through gritted teeth.

"I'm gonna ignore that. Now, which one shall be my plaything today, hmm?" He glanced around the room, his eyes darting to each prisoner. "How about... you?"

Cathy froze. No, he can't...

O'Brien grabbed Jonah by the hair and rested the blade against his throat. "You look like you need some shaving." However, before he could start, Cathy screamed.

"WAIT!!"

They all looked at her.

"What was that?"

"Don't hurt him! Take me!! I'll do whatever you want!! Just- please don't hurt him!!"

Jonah vigorously shook his head. However, O'Brien smiled. "Alright, you'll do."

He let go.

"I like that about you. Always willing to risk your life for your friends. It's quite admirable. Stupid, but admirable." He lifted her up. "C'mon, I want to use this."

With shaky steps, she followed him. She stepped onto a tiny pedestal that overlooked the room. Looking over to the others, she could see their tear filled eyes, silently begging her to reconsider. But she had no other choice. She'll take the pain if it meant Jonah was safe.

A sharp pain jostled her out of her thoughts as O'Brien dragged the knife down her left arm. Fresh blood oozed out of the wound he had created. He did the same thing with her legs and right arm. Cathy whimpered, but she held firm. This is not going to break her. This isn't-

"AAAAAAAAHHH!!"

Everyone screamed as O'Brien suddenly whipped her in the back. She wobbled, trying to balance herself, but the blood made her feet slick and she stumbled.

The priest grabbed her wrists and hung them to one of the meat hooks. Once he did that, he continued the barbaric methods of punishment.

What was he punishing them for? For simply existing? For not being like the sheep who do what their shepherds say in Mandela? With every whip crack, with new skin separated by knife, Catherine had one question in her mind.

Ann Vandersteel, a far-right podcaster who has promoted conspiracy theories and far-right ideology that government agencies have warned are domestic threats, hosted an online discussion in which she endorsed multiple Republican election denier candidates running for supervisors of elections in counties throughout Florida. Along with having ties to a militia group, Vandersteel has previously promoted sovereign citizens ideology and the QAnon conspiracy theory, both of which have received internal government warnings for being domestic threats. (Vandersteel, who has promoted other conspiracy theories like 9/11 trutherism and Pizzagate, has more recently criticized QAnon.) 

On July 19, she co-hosted an X Space called “FLORIDA TO END ELECTION FRAUD- 9 SOE CANDIDATES BRING THE BATTLE PLAN” with Cathi Chamberlain, a Florida election denier and podcaster. The discussion featured multiple candidates running to be supervisors of elections in Florida, including Dave Schaffel (Collier County), Jeff Buongiorno (Palm Beach County), Chris Gleason (Pinellas County), Tom Vail (Lake County), Michael “Mick” Peters (Lee County), David Kalin (Charlotte County), George Umansky (St. Lucie County), and Judith Jensen (Alachua County). Right-wing pundit and former Virginia congressional candidate Leon Benjamin also participated in the Space. During the Space, Vandersteel said that counties in Florida had “terrible problems” with supposed election fraud and falsely claimed, “We know that there was corruption and votes were flipped in every single county around this country,” citing the work of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and fellow conspiracy theorist Dennis Montgomery. She then said of the candidates in the Space, “I’m endorsing all of them tonight. I mean, you’re going to see me start to put it out on Twitter. I'm endorsing everybody that's on this list as an SOE [supervisor of elections].” Chamberlain also claimed that she was involved in putting together this “slate” of candidates.

Concerned citizens from Saskatchewan and beyond are coming together to raise awareness about the alarming increase in clearcutting in our beloved boreal forest. This Saturday, February 17th, the Saskatchewan Forest Protection Network and the Big River Forest Advocates are hosting an impactful Teach-In event, followed by a community supper and a musical Kitchen Party to rally support for a legal action to protect culturally significant and ecologically sensitive areas.

📣 The Teach-In will feature award-winning investigative journalist, Joan Baxter, who will shed light on the history and international impact of Paper Excellence, the company behind numerous mills across Canada.

🌟 Voices from Saskatchewan’s north will include Dave Rondeau, a community archeologist and heritage specialist, Miriam Korner, founder of For Peat’s Sake, and Cathy Sproule, the organizer of our legal action.

🎶 We'll also be treated to the musical talents of local artists Wilma Groenen, Aryn Murray, Raven She Hollers, Frank Klassen (Wrong Johnsons), and the Great Fuss at our Kitchen Party.

It's a family-friendly event with free admission to the Teach-In, food available for purchase at the community supper, and a modest $20 admission fee for the Kitchen Party, with kids getting in free!
