So I saw six the musical tonight and oh my gods I fucking love it also two silly things happened during get down when cleves said to someone in the audience to get up they didn’t even though it was said multiple times so cleves said my ex husband never got up either and then during I don’t need your love when parr said we all disappear someone in the audience said I see you and it was funny

I don't know what's weirder; the fact that I am not crunching for Katsucon for the first time in years or that I normalized cosplay crunching in my head.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everybody! I'll be honest, its been a crazy month. I thought I would have plenty of time to get my Halloween redraw done this year, but I had to really crunch at the end to get it done. The shading isn't really up to my usual standards, so probably when I have more time I'll go back and do a proper shading pass.

I had a lot of fun doing different group combinations than the previous years, mostly breaking up the couples and letting them do friend or parent child costumes instead. And I finally got to do what I wanted to do last year, add in Zoey, Levin, and Malachi! They're arguably more important characters than Cadenza, hence why she got the axe this year (I still love her but she's not exactly plot central and I also had no ideas for her costume). So without further ado, here's my 2023 redraw!

Dante and Naoko: John Marston (RDR) and Link (BOTW). Sort of representing each generation's style of open-world gaming.

Lucinda: Megara (Hercules)

Levin and Malachi: Nightwing and Damien Wayne (Son of Batman)

Aphra, Garroth, and Laurance: Yellow guy, red guy, and duck (DHMIS show)

Zoey: Dani (Midsommar). I like the idea that she just saw the outfits and thought they were pretty, full on doesn't realize its a horror movie.

Catherine Parr Costume pt. 2: Top part

So I actually finished this for halloween 2019, but entirely forgot to update, so:

I went to the thrift store and bought leggings, a bra, and a neglige to take apart for the sheer fabric. I also bought blue ribbon.

i used the bra as a base for the top and based how i sewed the back off of a blazer that i have

then i pinned the ribbon to the top - handstitching this took  f o r e v e r

Been feeling a lil down and uncreative lately, so I decided to make my own k Howard boots to wear to the six drive in... That then got cancelled.

Sooo now I have some pretty boots to wear the next time I see six.

Happy Halloween!!!!! Here’s my Catherine Parr from Six cosplay. I thrifted the shirt and cut off an arm and adjusted the neckline. The headband we hand and I just put rhinestones on it. The jeans I already had. I also did my makeup. It was pretty basic. A neutral shimmer eyeshadow and reddish pink lipstick. I’m proud of how it all turned out. I wanted to curl my hair, but it’s hard because I have so much that it’s hard to.

Grian is Anne Boleyn. Green isn’t exactly his color, but the song is SO PERFECT PLS- just him flouncing around the stage, flirting with one of the most dangerous men on the server, and then… well, he pays the price (L).

Jane is tough because I could do Etho for the color palette or X for closest personality, but Etho’s won out bc I want X for someone else more. Etho, uh, “died”, but he really just faked his death and went into hiding lol because raising a kid? Ew.

Anyways! My dude Ren is perfect for this song like wow. And! Red is totally his color! That spiky crown looks great on him.

Scar, our favorite server resident manwhore (affectionate), for Katherine Howard. Because tell me you can’t imagine his character (the fandom’s decided he’s hot and entirely ripped so) in glittery pink, dyed hair as well, and wouldn’t that be sick?

Finally, X as Catherine Parr. I can’t exactly explain it, I just like him for that character? Idk what to say, but I know he’s perfect for it, so. X. Cathy Parr. Also, he’d rock the blue sparkles, fight me.
