Love the fact that “biblically accurate” angels are indeed biblically accurate but they’re also the higher ups in angelhood like guardian angels are literally like the normal depictions of angels ie just humanoids with wings & halos. I’m the lameass guardian angel who got too attached to their assigned human & God is spraying me with a water bottle for it.

Hey is celestial horror a thing? Like the terror of experiencing something so beautiful and ethereal and magnificent that it’s just completely beyond your comprehension.
Tropes include being physically blinded by radiance, ears bleeding at the sound of their voices/singing, unable to stop yourself from weeping even as your eyes are burned out of their sockets, the world around you being physically incapable of accommodating something of that magnitude and so it begins to decay, the unfortunate side effect of you going completely insane even though said ethereal being was only here to protect and guide you.
