I drew this woman early in highschool and have since completely forgotten who she was supposed to be...each year I give this painting a little upgrade and try to maybe remember who the hell is she

why is she crying? At that point she is probably mourning the loss of her identity, she WAS someone, something, but now its just a crying face, a story I never bothered to write.

this portrait is like a dream I had forgotten, but one that still lingers in the back of my mind.

I find this video quite interesting, partially because the aesthetics of Catholicism are pretty, and partially because there's a conflict between respecting that and possible desecration of symbols.

In addition, the $5 confessions sounds like something which would lead to the Protestant reformation, haha.

first of all OMG- it’s so neat to find someone so alike! I’m a dragon studying religion and philosophy in college. Also, although I loved in more of a desert area I was within flying distance of an ocean and love to swim and fish! Ngl fish is most of my diet lool! (It helps my other kin is a suchomimus)

Anyways, enough rambling…

Can I have a gold dragon board? I have off white/light brown feathery wings so anything with feathers is nice! They shed all the time…

I remember living/protecting a convent in a deserty place near an ocean-like Israel or Syria, maybe Turkey? More Mediterranean. Anything with catholic or orthodox themes- Catholiccore and desertcore! (More like eastern deserts than American though)

anything silver like jewelry- cross jewelry and anything with religious themes like the rosary is accepted!

🐫 Dragon of the shifting sands 🐫

Oooooh this was a fun one! Early and medieval Christian art is just one of those things that really tickles my brain, so I tried to incorporate middle eastern art from various time periods, and I tried to highlight some of the absolutely gorgeous architecture that came with it! Honestly I could spend weeks flipping through illuminated manuscripts so it was so hard choosing exactly which images I wanted to use for this! I hope I did a good job QwQ
