A Bit of a rant
Why I love Rose Tyler:
Why she is my favorite companion: I wrote this rant in response to a comment that Rose x Doctor felt forced and honestly I’m just posting it here because I needed to get it out but I didn’t feel like getting into it with the person who said it hahaha. So this is more for my own cathartist than anything else. Okay first thing: They started as friends first. She has always called him out on his bullshit, and hasn't always listened to him. She made him show compassion to a Dalek. A species that was literally at war with his people. She knows he's important to the universe, that he needs someone there. Her line of " He's not my boyfriend Mickey he's much more important." That he can't really do what he does alone because he needs someone to ground him. Planets, aliens, people all rely on him. Rose just didn't want him to be on his own. That was her main concern always. When she's at bad wolf bay and asks him if he's going to be on his own and he nods she tells him she loves him. Hoping that is a small comfort for the fact that she knows how lonely and sad he is. When the dalek had her and she was sure she was going to be killed she told the doctor "Whatever happens it wasn't your fault." Basically saying look I signed up for this and I knew the risk I was taking don't blame yourself. When Martha got in danger she screamed at the doctor " this is your fault!" basically trying to absolve herself of any responsibility. Do I like Martha? Yes. She is brilliant and I dont think the doctor necessarily treated her the way she deserved to be treated but that’s another rant. When the possibility that the doctor might be dead Rose's thought was "well even if he was how could I leave him? All on his own all the way down there?" Even if it meant her own death she still didn’t want him to be on his own. When she met Donna she literally told donna she was the most important woman in the whole of creation. Cared about Donna's family, and Donna herself. She invited Sarah Jane along with them, and even asked Sarah Jane seriously if she should stay, looking to the older woman for advice. The only reason they both argued at first was Rose was told NOTHING about her and she saw how close they were and realized does he just get close to people and dump them? Does Rose have selfish moments? Absolutely but so does the Doctor. The Doctor treated Mickey like shit because the Doctor was absolutely 100 percent jealous and wanted Mickey out of the way. Rose remember is a 19 year old girl. She never had much going on in her life and this guy who is 900 years old shows up and basically challenges her reality and she challenges him right back. They challenge each other to think about things differently and changed each other for the better. He gave her purpose, drive, and believed in her even though she was low economic standing, wasn’t “special” by any societal standards, but was brave, compassionate and kind. She taught him that compassion that he carries with him even now. Sorry just had to get this out because their relationship has been one of my favorites for TV couples basically ever and I needed to get out why I love them so much.

「“Oh no, this is bad...”」
Events had somehow turned out what he hadn’t thought of them to be, unfortunate on him and several others that were just as anticipated as he was. Out of hunger and influence from the aromatic air pursuing him to go through the door, although he presumed to buy a simple treat for himself- the idea never crossed to him that such mistakes were bound to happen in a professional area. Well, he couldn’t blame him entirely; people had their bad days too. Groans echoing from behind as customers weren’t as sympathetic as the boy was, a nervous smile formed around his lips, hoping that would do some justice with the situation.
Ah- what to do, what to do... Beside him stood an older individual, primly dressed and quite sharp. Even if it was just one person, it wouldn’t hurt trying to be enthusiastic between one of them.
「“Looks like some of these are burned, were you going to get one?”」

grudge, law.
Grudge :: How bad does an insult go over? Do they hold a grudge long?

Insults upon Frederick are often looked over, deemed minuscule in comparison to an insult of his country or the family he serves under, and if you insult his prince you’ll never be able to live it down until Chrom tells him to stop.
Law :: What do they think about abiding rules? Are they selective about it?
Complete and total upholding of the rules. Rules run his life. The only time he’ll be selective of it is if told to yield by the actual ruler of the land. Even then, he won’t like it.

mephistopheles.
Hoo boy.
I can’t get a straight answer out of Edward on this one. He’s trying to claim he hasn’t. I know it’s not the truth, but he won’t talk about it. Sorry!

Is your muse looking for a long term relationship? Are they in one? What do they think of marriage and binding themselves to someone?
SCREAMING.PNG
Ahem, well, yes, Nemesis is not looking for love or relationships and probably never will again.
Not after last time. Thanks Daddy.
Do they take control or give control or do they believe in sharing power? What are their thoughts on control versus submission (either sexually or in relationships in general)? What do they think of authority?
At one time Nemesis was very willing to take orders. If Mr Pere Noel ordered it, she would do it, without question. Her place was to do what she was asked, and she was fine with that.
Then something (see above) happened that changed everything. Now, Nemesis is a conquer and a dictator. She won’t stop until everything is hers to control, to shape the way she sees. Authority? She IS authority. Those who try to act superior to her are quickly disposed of. She owns Evillious, and she doesn’t plan to stop there either.

switcheroo, if you're up for it!
Märchen von Friedhof wakes up on the Floor of Tests with a young girl by his side, a Guide named Elise. It is rumored that she is one of Ashul Edwaru’s side experiments before his 13 Month Series, that she is a doll whose sentience stems from a soul of Shinsoo, but whether or not this rumor holds any substance is unclear. Märchen retains no memory of entering the Tower or moving up from the First Floor, but he passes as a Regular and is able to take tests on each floor. Elise tells him his purpose is to aid seven of the Zahard Princesses, young girls adopted into the Zahard bloodline for their fighting prowess and strength to serve Zahard, in their climb up the Tower to the 134th Floor, each representing one of the seven deadly sins according to her. As his Guide, Elise navigates the Tower by his side and leads him to where he is needed. As he climbs the Tower, Märchen discovers his skills as a Wave Controller, albeit an unusual one. The Shinsoo he manipulates is black and, unlike elemental Shinsoo, it holds no properties of the existing natural elements, such as fire and lightning.
The first princess he is acquainted with is Anak, who seeks a violent revenge on Zahard for the death of her mother. Märchen aids her in the Crown Game, supporting her in battle and defending her once she gets the Crown, and from then on becomes part of her team as she climbs the Tower.
The second princess he meets is Androssi, a popular Regular of celebrity-like status who wants to date but can’t due to her status as a Zahard Princess. She joins Märchen’s team as well and he continues to climb with them, hoping after he aids the seven princesses, he can climb the Tower himself and find out where he came from when he reaches the top.
Currently, he is on the 25th Floor and has met two of the seven princesses.

switcheroo!
Shinra Inc. employed a host of deranged people as mad scientists, but perhaps none were worse than Märchen von Friedhof. Hojo, Gast, Gillian, Hollander - all of them were focused on jenova, but Märchen’s research was on a different path. But the Jenova Project held President Shinra’s interest, and Märchen fell by the wayside, barely funded and almost forgotten. nobody looked at his reports or his research nobody cared what he was doing.
Märchen, however, would not give up. He became focused, almost obsessed with his project - a way to keep a corpse from dissolving back into the Lifestream, and then using the Lifestream itself to control it. Then his research went even further - drawing pieces of the Lifestream out to take other forms, never seen before. The Lifestream itself fought his efforts at every step, but Märchen was victories, step by agonizingly slow step.
After six years, Märchen at last stood before President Shinra and his fellow researchers… and none of them had any idea what he could do. He had fine-tuned his control; once, it had taken rooms full of equipment and massive amount of Mako energy to even control a single of his creations. But now, he had nothing more than a simple, handheld baton; and with it, he called a dozen of his creations into being from the air around them. Abhorred and rebelled against by nature itself, they were mutant beasts that barely resembled anything comprehensible, made of putrid flesh and writhing limbs.
At last, Märchen would have his revenge for being ignored and looked down upon for all this time.
The meeting instantly dissolved, and two researchers died before SOLDIER operatives burst through the door. Märchen’s beasts were cut down and he escaped, fleeing Midgar. First-class SOLDIERS Sephiroth and Genesis were sent after him.
Both operatives returned within a week, and Märchen was confirmed dead, although rumors among Shinra personnel claimed that Gensis had… changed.

--- - "What is proper retribution?"
A judge should know the answer to that, if he or she were to go with a textbook-ish reference. Unfortunately, retribution is a very complex thing to understand, a complex thing to receive, a complex thing to bestow on another, yet it was such a simple word. Retribution.

"Would you like to think upon it with me, good sir?"

A tool was only as useful as what it could do. In this city, Ramlethal was essentially useless as a fighter, only having the power to defend herself if necessary. A full-scale attack would be impossible without Lucifero at her side, and her powers unlimited.
As such, all she could do was gather information while she figured out a way to regain her powers. From what she'd learned of human society, it was those that were in power that could answer all questions. Contacting the scientists who brought her here seemed a stretch, as they were perhaps in a different plane of existence. So she decided on the next best thing.
She stopped a male, one dressed quite nicely. Clothing is usually a marker of status in human society, so this one must be near the level of king.

"I desire knowledge of this city and its mechanisms. Answer quickly and I will have no need to use force."

This man looked nothing short of incredible. No, it wasn't just his appearance, but the very aura he gave off. Perhaps her assumption was correct, for a place to be populated with such extravagant characters it just had to be a stage. Somehow it brought her comfort... the comfort of being surrounded by kin.

"Good day. Perhaps a capable being such as yourself would be able to assist Yurika."

Waking up in the middle of the night for no particular reason wasn't something Shiki particularly enjoyed. It happened more often than she could tolerate, yet she found herself unable to deal with it. The only way to make sure it wouldn't happen were obviously pills. However, if you lived where she did, you'd immediately be able to grasp why such a thing was out of the question.
District Alpha. One of the underground districts that were part of Hive City, the place Shiki had one day found herself into. There were many ways one could think to describe the place. A swamp. An underground bog. Sewers. A place were nature was permanently emitting poison. All of the descriptions were so close and yet so far, however they all had one thing in common. It wasn't a nice place. Add in it the mysterious inhabitants that populated District Alpha as well, beings the Scientists had dubbed 'pariahs' and you could at least get a vague idea of why Shiki was against using something that would dull her senses, even if that meant she would suffer some sleepless nights.
Since this wasn't the first time it happened, Shiki wasn't in more of a bad mood than she usually were. She already had a few countermeasures that would help her pass time until sleep felt like returning to her. One of which was food. Therefore, she grabbed her red jacket, hopped into her leather boots and headed towards the tube, a means of transportation that allowed everyone that lived there (excluding the pariahs) to move over to Sector 1. Shiki planned to grab something from a vending machine and then head back home to enjoy it. If she was lucky, Sector 1's randomness would have placed one near where the tube would leave Shiki.
Locking the door, and using mostly experience rather than a source of light to guide herself, she started moving towards the tube. It was always lit, so under the ground, it pretty much served as a lighthouse. It seemed like, this wasn't going to be her lucky night however.
Before even reaching the tube, she spot an additional light source in a different direction. With nothing better to do, and a growing curiosity in her, she decided to move carefully towards it. Given that it was unknown whether the owner of the source could prove to be a fellow resident or the pariahs, she decide to try and hide her presence even as she closed in on her target. She eventually did reach the origin of the light source. Hiding herself behind a giant stalagmite, she spotted the figure of a man. Dressed all in black, and with the light-source not facing towards him (it was a flashlight he was holding) she could not make out facial details or anything of the sort. But she did hear his eerie voice. She wasn't as close as she would prefer, but she did catch the word 'experiment'. Which renew her curiosity all the more. Could he be one of those insane scientists? She thought to herself. Did she finally get a chance to get a look to the mastermind? She wondered.
'I should try and find out as much as I can from this guy. If I'm right, I might get out of this nightmarish city sooner than I expected.' Was her final thought as she decided to spy the unknown person.
