ok im loving autistic maia/maiaphael but friendship ended with autistic/adhd solidarity malec. my new best friend is autistic/adhd solidarity magnus&maia brotp!! possible thots: no idea how this go, but something (a spell to breathe underwater? a charm to help selkies? a special ocean potion ingredient?) magnus is hyperfixating on overlaps w maias special interest marine biology & just them in a booth in takis or hunters moon very passionately talking back and forth & sharing their interests 🥺

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my god okay but the spell to breathe/be able to see underwater maia would be ALL about that shit. there’s probably even a spell to make sure they don’t get wet like if they are uncomfortable with it sensorially lmao but anyway the point is, maia would basically be able to go swimming and see everything she fucking wants without having to worry about a thing!! especially since if i remember correctly she was kinda scared of going into the sea (she mentioned that “if i’m very adventurous, i might put an ankle” in that flashback) but like with this magnus gets to bring her underwater and let her see everything she wants live, and free from the possibly sensorially yucky sensation of being in the sea (i for one can’t stand it lmao) 

or even if she absolutely doesn’t want to go in no problem because magnus can just use a spell to show her what HE sees! maybe raphael even offers to go in and they can use like seelie rings or some shit so she can be like “omg can you check that reef for me? more to the left?? OH MY GOD I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU JUST FOUND THAT I-” and she’s so excited about it and raphael is also happy because look when was the last time he swam? and i’m pretty sure he never got to see marine life up close so like, this rules actually. even if i think he would have a kidna low energy to keep going, he enjoys it, and he’s more than happy to get to hear the way maia is so excited about that

anyWAY my point is, one way or the other the idea has her ABSOLUTELY STOKED and just immensely excited and just aaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the two of them meeting up at the jade wolf to talk about this and magnus is like in full lecture mode sharing graphics and his research and explaining everything to her in detail, and maia is just vibrating with excitement, and raphael is just watching them both with the fondest smile because his dad and his gf get along so well and they both look so happy and the sun is hitting his face and this is heaven. he doesn’t give a lot of input because it’s more Their Thing and he’s happy to just watch as they both nerd out to their heart’s content (lmao maybe catarina and madzie are also there? and catarina can help since she is a healer and understands magic that affects bodily functions better than magnus. and madzie is also a little genius cuz i said so so she also helps, even though she alternates between giving input and just zoning out and doing her own thing. but anyway my point with this is they’re all nerding out and raphael is mostly watching and feeling blessed and also giving madzie attention while the rest of them work on this project) 

and they just talk and talk and nerd out about it for hours and catarina and raphael have to be the Responsible Ones reminding them to eat and shit, but it’s the sweetest possible thing and they’re just so excited and also maia and magnus would work SO WELL together okay! and they are both so smart and know so much about what they’re talking about and just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i love this!!!

okay so by the time maia gets to have dinner with all of raphael’s family, she’s already gotten to meet them all individually, and she’s already pretty close with them all. obviously she always had a good relationship with magnus, but getting to know magnus as more than a political leader and a customer is very different and nice. but he’s never been anything if not welcoming with her, and even his “shovel talk” was more of a “i’m glad raphael has found so much happiness with you... i hope it stays like this” because he’s nice

maia has already babysat madzie a few times, and madzie adores her and having another, also young, black woman in her life has been doing her good (not that catarina is not an amazing role model! but there’s never enough and it’s nice to know other young people and people who aren’t your immediate family you know, especially since madzie spent quite a lot of her life around a white “family”), which means that catarina also likes her. also, catarina and maia might have different areas of interest, but they can nerd out for hours about biology and maia is genuinely super interested in catarina’s work, so, more points. and ragnor loves how fierce she is. he thinks it does raphael good, even if he’s already kind of a stubborn head

so maia’s first dinner with the immortal squad goes very smoothly and is not really a nerve wracking situation. she’s welcomed like a friend, she gets lots of hugs and kisses on the cheek (okay ragnor is not big on that but he gives her a warm smile and a nod and she does it back and it works). it feels like she’s always been a part of the immortal squad. she and raphael play with madzie afterwards and she, magnus and catarina have super intense science-y conversations that have raphael just melting because she’s so smart and she’s getting along with them so well. ragnor gifts her a book. it feels perfect for them all and from then on maia is pretty much always invited

she also convinces them all to watch, like, lord of the rings and other terribly nerdy movies that these losers have obviously never seen, which ragnor describes as “a fascinating experience” so it also becomes something of a tradition that she brings some Young N Cool thing for the grandpas to experience, and it’s nice

what I wish had happened but didn’t: Bat being like. A real character. My boy had like five minutes screentime total, probably less, and I would have loved to see him meet the others and see how him and Maia got together but the cancellation cut things short ;^;

what happened that I wish hadn’t: That freaking memory wipe and one year later nonsense, it was just so unnecessary and poorly thought out

I will never stop thinking all of potential and great storylines that SH-season 4 would’ve had. Clary fighting to find a way to forgive herself and come back from the darkness with the help of Jace. Izzy and Clary arranging their parabatai-ceremony. Maia meeting her parents after so many years and becoming closer with Bat. More of Sizzy-slowburn. Raphael getting used to human life and starting his studies for being the priest. Heline. <3 Luke and Clary getting more father-daughter-scenes together. Luke finally being happy with Maryse. Perhaps even the plot of Jonathan and Seelie Queen’s child. Catarina and Madzie spending time with Alec, Catarina telling stories about the history between her and Magnus to help him cope. Clary and Alec’s BROTP growing stronger when they try to find the ways to get to Edom to save Magnus. Magnus struggling with accepting his new position, taking his father’s throne (= the very thing that had been his worst nightmare) and trying to fight the darkness inside of him and stop himself from reversing back to his closed-off self. More Magnus-flashbacks in general. The gang finally arriving to Edom. Alec getting his first taste of warlock powers and actually understanding why magic is so important to Magnus. Alec, Clary and others trying to remind Magnus that the darkness inside him isn’t who he is. Magnus feeling hopelessness of getting out and guilty of endangering everyone and wanting them to go and focus on their lives. Alec saying his iconic line of not wanting the world, only Magnus. (I actually have the fanfic of the scene where they finally meet Magnus in Edom in my mind, but I’m not sure if I will publish it or when it would happen.) The longer version of the wedding.

I just realized most of my brotps are the ones, the showrunners decided there wasn’t enough time for in the show. 1: Magnus and Catarina; the brotp we love so much and yet were robbed of by Lorenzo and the showrunners. The fics thankfully fill that gap the show decided not to give us. (Am I bitter over the fact we could’ve seen a scene where she’s being asked to be in the wedding, very likely.)  2: Magnus and Ragnor; tbh Cat and Ragnor were battling for top spot, Catarina got it but Ragnor is very close. Again robbed of and just completely forgotten about for what reason, so much to explore like the past and Magnus’s grief over losing one of his best friends but just forgotten. (yeah bitter over not being explored ) 3: Alec and Maia; I have a major soft spot for them okay like, I wanted this so badly and yet they were nahhhh, they could’ve bonded over making fun of some people in the show.  4: Magnus and Raphael;  even though the show robbed me and gave me what four scenes in 2x04 and one in 2x14 of their relationship, the fics once again fill that gap the show left.  5: Alec and Aline; again robbed of because the scenes just didn’t fit the episodes (when Jace doing random shit did like a back flip).

MY THOUGHTS (for the months) under the cut:

January: Namaste - Y’all know I’m a diehard Spartacus/Nagron fanatic. I love the AU brotp between Nasir, Pietros & Naevia, and I just imagine they’re all a bunch of New Age hipsters who do yoga & eat kale salads. I had them go to The Ludus Gym, and get workouts with their respective beaus, Agron, Barca, and Crixus. They were just lookin’ cute; ain’t nobody tryna actually exercise. XD

February: Mononoke - One of my faaaavorite months. I had marathoned Mononoke, an amazing anime miniseries, and got so inspired. It’s one of my favorite anime now; absolutely fantastic art style.

March: Kids Magic - Possibly one of the greatest mods ever made for TS3 was PuddingFace/SkyDome’s Kids Magic Mod. A no-brainer for having magic-using lifestates, but for some reason EA never felt it necessary to let kids do magic, as if Hogwarts isn’t a thing. o_O Freaking incredible. 

April: Season 3 Malec - “I’ve always dreamed of meeting someone like you.” Alec made me so proud when he said Magnus is his dream man. Same, bish, SAME!

May: Shuri Homage - I made a whole Shuri machinima and another post, plus other Black Panther posts, but somehow that one got reblogged to Wakanda and back, out of frikkin nowhere. Thanks! XD

June: Pride ‘18 - I used that Queer as Folk quote because I was heavily inspired by its Liberty Avenue location. I was really disappointed when I learned that Pittsburgh didn’t actually have a gay central landmark like that. U_U

July: Boroughsburg - Even though the Sleepover at Naevia’s post got the most notes that month, my favorite posts were in the new world Boroughsburg (aka Brooklyn, NYC). I moved my whole Malec gameplay out of St. Claire, and am so in love with it. <3

August: Witcher 3 ‘18 -  I didn’t post much this month, but I did return to my Witcher 3 gameplay for a brief spell. I’ll get back around to making more conversions...eventually. :P

September: Gwynburn - After Malec, Gwynburn is my favorite Shadowhunters ship. I can’t wait to read the last Dark Artifices book, Queen of Air & Darkness, so I can get some more Gwyn and Diana!

October: Male Witches Pt2 A & B - I just looove Brenna Ivy’s Male Witches series~! <3 I get so inspired, looking at all the pretty pictures, and the cool details they use. So I just can’t resist recreating them for my male sims. :D

November: Black Girl Magic - I wanted to show some love for Shadowhunters’  BAMF black queens: warlocks Catarina & Madzie (she’s got mermaid DNA, fight me on this), shadowhuntress Diana, and of course werewolf Maia. 

December: Nagron Yule -  Y’all know I’m a diehard Spartacus/Nagron fanatic. I took Agron & Nasir all the way to Aurora Skies for Xmas/Yule, to have a modern German goat farming ski trip alpine adventure. Because they’re my babies and they deserve it. :3

i actually thought about that! the whole being on the run thing, this whole squad truly shares the braincell. i was thinking yeah Evil Dictator Asmodeus and magnus having been shunned for trying to kick him out/end his oppressive rule and raphael having always been sort of an outcast and having already bonded with magnus over their shared interest in things that are outside of the mermaid world - especially, in magnus’ case, because it was like... this clean world that was free of his abuse, you know - so raphael and him still meet up. and hey maybe raphael is also trying to plot an uprising because well it’s canon! so he’s kinda like magnus’ inside man. oh no i’m actually pretty into this

so yeah magnus has been shunned and that only gives him more reason to try out that one day and go to the shore and he ends up being seen by maia and well that’s a fuckup! but it turns out great. and slowly but surely they manage to overthrow asmodeus and hell, end the monarchy because fuck that, [BABY I’M AN ANARCHIST STARTS PLAYING AT MAXIMUM VOLUME] and also like again look magnus is a great leader but he deserves a break from all that weight okay. let him see the world and be with his husband and his son and his son’s girlfriend in peace. blease

and SPLASH FIGHTS would be really cute. i particularly imagine raphael and maia doing that when he’s still easing maia into the whole ocean thing you know, like she won’t get in the water but she will maybe climb over a rock and put her feet every once in a while. so to tease her he keeps throwing water on her and being like “see? it’s wet already. you can put a knee in there” and she’s like “fuck off” and kicks some water in his face and he laughs and soon they’re having a splash fight. raphael has an unfair advantage of course since he’s fully immersed in the water and maia only gets to kick some but it actually does help her feel a little more confident? especially because like DICKS OUT FOR AUTISTIC MAIA and getting used to the sensation of sea water on her skin helps her feel a little less uneasy about getting there, you know, one less foreign thing to worry about. and just odadosajd they are so cutee

and YES mermaid cat!! i know the obvious thing would be for her scales to be blue but i just really like yellow or purple??? yellow just looks gorgeous on dark skin so she would be absolutely stunning no one would be able to do it like her, and purple just seems to suit her? idk. but anyway yeah she is also helping them with their overthrowing asmodeus plans but she is closer to him in like the palace or smth idk and so she can’t go out and see them as much? but like yeah duahdsuaihdsauha aaaaaa

Shadowhunters Season 3

This is just a short post to discuss what questions, hopes and speculations I have about Season 3. I am so excited for the next season and I just wanted to get out my thoughts about what it could hold.

Jace – 

The biggest question right now is what the effects and consequences of his resurrection will be. At the end of 2x20 we saw that he was in a great deal of pain but it is yet unclear what the source of that pain is. Is it related to the fact that his soul left his body for a while? Is it an after effect of wherever his soul went in that time? Is it related to his angel blood? It is going to be very interesting to find out why he is in such pain.

Will his temporary death affect his Parabatai bond with Alec? We know that they have a very strong bond, but is that going to have changed now that that bond has effectively been broken and re-stitched? Will this temporary break cause the bond to be weaker than it was before? If so, how is that going to affect them both; to be less connected to each other?

Will there be any behavioural or emotional change in Jace too? We could tell that he seemed a little different and off during the last moment of the finale, is that going to be a permanent thing? Is he going to become more aggressive and angry? More apathetic, less emotional? It will be interesting to see if these effects go further than the physical, and how is that going to affect his possible relationship with Clary?

Clary – 

She is going to be facing the emotional ramifications of losing her last close blood relative, Valentine may have been a villain but he was still her father. The only blood relative that we know she has left is her distant cousin, Lydia; will they be interacting in season 3 in an attempt to connect with family? I would love to see her interact with Luke more, he has been the only father she has ever really known; she knows she can rely on him to love, protect and care for her and right now she needs that.

Are we going to see a slightly darker and more violent side to her now that she has shown she is capable of it? She shocked us and herself with her level of brutality in killing Valentine so she is going to have to come to terms with that part of herself; are we going to see her become more violent in the process?

She has feelings for Jace and they both want to explore that; Todd has told us that they will be going on a mundane date which I am very excited for, they can get to know each other better without the chaos that has surrounded them since they met. However, will what is happening with Jace affect the development of their relationship?

She is also having to keep how he was resurrected a secret but how long will that last if Jace does start to visible change as a result? She and Izzy have a very close bond and I think that Clary will want to tell her the truth; if Jace does start becoming distant with her, she is going to need the support that only someone in the know could provide. Plus, they are as close as sisters and I don’t think Clary is going to like keeping the truth from her for long.

Izzy – 

I love Izzy so much and I am excited to continue to watch her get stronger and more confident again, which we saw a lot of in 2B. I am curious to see if she and Raphael will attempt to date after their revelation in 2x19; they both feel connected to each other and want to see how that could develop.

I would like to see her interact more with Magnus, I think that they do have a great friendship and would love to see more of it. They are the two people who love Alec most in this world; Izzy was the one to give Magnus Alec’s number which was the beginning of their romantic interactions. Plus they are very fashionable, strong, skilled and scientists in their own right (Izzy is a pathologist and Magnus is an inventor, he helped create portals).  I just love both of these characters and would love to see them interact more.

Is she going to continue to train Max once he is all healed up from Jonathan’s attack? It is a reasonable assumption and I really liked to see those bonding moments between the two of them.

Alec – 

Is his bond with Jace compromised? As I said, there may be some sort of affect on their Parabatai bond; but is Alec going to be effected by Jace’s physical pain and possible behavioural changes? We know that their emotions effect the other, so is Alec going to feel the pain Jace is experiencing and is his behaviour going to change or be effected if Jace’s changes? I am very worried right now.

I am so excited to see Alec and Magnus’ relationship continue to grow and strengthen; they needed to deal with the conflict between their personal and professional lives, now that they have I think they will be better equipped in future and will learn how to balance their lives better. Todd said there is going to be a scene which included home-brewed sandalwood shampoo (which I think is a nod to the books) and I am squealing. I hope that we get a scene of them bathing together, or one in the bath and the other sitting behind the tub washing their hair; but we’ll see!

We are going to see Alec continue as the Head of the Institute (I presume) and deal with the aftermath of Malachi’s death. It is going to cause a big change for them, and Alec will be there trying to build a better future for the Shadow World. I think that he will use this opportunity to try to convince the Clave to build better relationships with Downworlders, become more inclusive and start initiatives like his Downworld Cabinet.

Magnus – 

If Alec is affected by Jace is that going to affect his relationship with Magnus? After everything they have been through I just hope that whatever is happening to Jace isn’t going to cause a rift or problems for Alec and Magnus’ relationship.

They are going to repair the trust that we broken between them, they know that they both made mistakes and they will work to rebuild that trust again and become stronger than ever. I would also love to see Alec officially move in with Magnus; I want this so much but I am not getting my hopes up too high (yeah right *laughs, then cries*).

I hope that we get to learn more about Magnus’ role as High Warlock, and that he will become more involved with the Institute to build a better future for his people. I hope that he and Alec strive to make a better future between their two worlds and now is the opportunity to do that. I would also like to see more of Downworld Dad Magnus; him interacting with Simon and Raphael would be wonderful, we have been starved of this since 2A and I am craving! I hope that we see more of Magnus’ friendships, including Catarina, Jace and Luke. I also hope that we get to see Magnus interacting with Maryse; she has come so far in 2B and I really want to see her apologise to Magnus for her treatment towards him, both due to his relationship with Alec and during the Uprising (she fought against him while she was in the Circle right?).

I am so excited for new Magnus looks in season 3, so far we have has a peak of platinum highlights with blue eyeliner and the magnificent bane-hawk (screaming!).

Also, I would like to get some clarification that Magnus got back his spell book that Valentine had Iris stole in 2x08; I presume that it was given back to him after 2x10. We saw that Valentine carried it into the Institute so it is reasonable to assume that he left it in the Head’s office, so we presume they gave it back to Magnus; but it would be nice to get clarification, especially after Magnus made the point of how important it is and how imperative it was to get it back.

Luke – 

Our favourite werewolf is getting a new love interest! Maryse! I am very excited for this, I think it will be good for both of them and they both deserve love; Todd said they are going on a date and I am beyond excited.

He is also going to be dealing with Ollie, and Sam. I am very interested to see how he is going to deal with this, I don’t think he is going to have Raphael encanto her again because he will be smart enough to realise that she will have told Sam, plus he doesn’t know that she has video evidence. I will be interesting to see what and how much he tells her; and how she reacts to this. I quite like Ollie, you have to give her kudos for being able to investigate a cop werewolf without him noticing; woman got skills. His first priority is keeping his pack and the Shadow World safe, so I am anxious to see how is going to handle this.

I would like to see him interact with Clary more, they are the only family they have left and they love each other so much. I would also like to see more of one of my brotps Gorrobane! I love Magnus and Luke; I would love to see more of their friendship, I think that they would both be quite involved in helping the Institute too. Plus, I would love to see more interaction between Alec and Luke; we get these odd little moments between them and I think they would have a great friendship. They are bound to have more interaction now that Luke is going to be dating Maryse; and I’m excited.

Simon – 

OMG, Simon what the fuck did you do? I am very scared for him, it sounded like he may have made some sort of marriage pact with the Seelie Queen and I am not down for this. I need to know what he promised her, like now please!

How is this deal with the Seelie Queen going to affect his budding relationship with Maia? I really like them as a couple, they are cute and well suited; but I have a really bad feeling about his deal with the Queen and that it is going to majorly interfere with his relationship with Maia.

Also, is this deal going to affect his friendships with Clary, Luke, Magnus and Raphael? The Queen betrayed them all, and they know how cruel she is, they are not going to be happy that he made a deal with her; mainly because they will be worried for him. Plus, is she going to want him to use his status as a Daylighter for her own purposes?

Maia – 

Again, her relationship with Simon is going to change but how is that going to affect her? I think she will know that he did it to protect her but she is not going to like it; especially if he promised marriage.

Apparently Jordan (the ex who turned her) is going to be coming into the show and I am anxious for her. Not only is she going to have to deal with seeing him again but if Simon is trapped in the Seelie Realm she is going to have to face him alone (I know she has the pack, but you get what I mean).

I would love to see her bond with Clary and Izzy; I think these three ladies would really get along and it would be a strength for them to become friends. Plus, with Simon gone awol I think that Clary and Maia would bond over their mutual care for him; they both have respect for each other which could grow into friendship. Same with Izzy, they have been through a lot and both understand the dangers and fears of losing control. I just really want to see more female friendship and think these three would get along great, okay.

Jonathan – 

Is Jonathan really permanently dead? I don’t know. He is such a compelling character and interesting villain that it would be a shame that he is gone; plus Will is amazing. I would not be surprised if Lilith brought him back somehow.

Speaking of Lilith, she is going to be the big bad for season 3; I think that she is either going to be out for revenge for Jonathan’s death or she is going to bring him back and they’ll team up. Either way it is going to be interesting and a nice change of pace to have a female villain.

The Clave – 

There are going to be consequences of Malachi’s involvement with Valentine and his death. He was the head of the Clave, so new management is inevitable; plus with the Circle being so deep seated in the Clave there will have to be some sort of investigation to weed out any that may be left, and to see how far his betrayal went; what did he do in the name of Valentine?

Will Imogen become the new head of the Clave? I have no idea how their promotion works, but she seems to be quite high up so it’s not an unreasonable assumption. As long as they are better than Malachi and hopefully they will chose someone who will be open to change regarding relations with Downworlders.

As I said, this is the perfect opportunity for them to change their behaviour and attitude towards Downworlders for the better; they have proof that their current ways aren’t working (NY Downworlders banding behind the Seelie Queen because of their lack of trust in the Clave). Hopefully they will use this to create better relationships with Downworlders for strive for a better, more inclusive future for all of them; to cultivate trust between the two worlds.

I’m so excited for Season Three and the knowledge that we have to waiting until January is killing me! I encourage discussion about anything I have said in this post and any questions, hopes or speculations you may have. Here’s to a hopefully not too painful hiatus!

2x19 Hail and Farewell

1. SEBASTIAN

Okay,he’s not dead sorry not sorry. I’m like... It’s gotta be a shape shifting rune. It’s just gotta be, he’s too important, they wouldn’t kill him of so early. 

Anyways I’m kind of conflicted. It’s funny, really. Beceause of ONE scene I’ve started to pity him a little bit. I’m talking about the scene when he was watching the father playing with his kid on a playground and he had tried so hard to suspened this little smile on his face but it still appeared anyways. I think he wanted to have something smiliar but he knew that he never had and never will have. And then how he despetrely tried to believe in Valentine’s words that he’ll come for him... Shit...

AND THE THEY THROW ON ME DEMON SEBASTIAN ON MY FACE and all of my pity for him flew right through the window for the rest of the episode. I mean shiiiiiiiit... Also those crazy fighting skills... My God I was literally scared (but that’s a really easy thing to do, ask my brother...) Also Seb... Learn how to control your anger issues...

2. Valentine

Men... You shady little f... First manipulating your own son, kidnapping a poor Warlock and siding with the queen but the worst of it all? INTERRUPTING A POOR MUNDANE LADY’S HUSBAND’S FUNREAL!!! AND TURNING THEM ALL TO FORSAKENS!! I mean... have your parents thought you nothing about manners? Dude! No! Simply no!

But well... i have to admit he’s the master mind... Really...

3. The Seelie Queen

BITCH. I hate you even more wtf, you are freaking blind, learn how to be a diplomat! Don’t make your people die beceause you don’t like something. OMG you need to learn how to talk really. Kidnapping Maia won’t make Simon go on your side. And you are a freaking hypocrate. Sideing with Valntine while forceing others to side with you AGAINST Valentine. You two are worh each other, REALLY. Someone do me a favor and kill her...

4. JACE

Frick. Man. This voice. OMG. This was so so good! I mean really! All of those moments when he was acting adequately torwards current situation! Nice, nice man! But... FREAKING LEARN WHEN YOU SHOULD SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I know you’ve trusted your freinds but that’s no exuce for ranting a man who’s freking chocking you!

5. CLARY

Yes! You go girl! Stay like that and I will actually start to really like you! Really. Being a smart ass and knowing what to do without ravishing Clave’s rules. And she learned how to fight! When? Idk... probably behind the scenes... Ugh... And nice she knew that she shouldn’t ask Simon about a favour...

6. CLACE

Nice. Really nice scenes, luckily it didn’t come out out of nowhere. I’m glad about it.Still felt a bit off for me but maybe it’s beceause all of the inscect thing that stuck in my head and refuses to go.

7. SIMON

Yeah boyyyyy!! Stand up for your gf, she didn’t actaully need this but it was nice! And all of his sluttering was adorable! Besides... his humour is also back! Simon “Yes Clary I will help with everyhing you wa... Noooo I won;t go to the Seelie Queen are you out of your mind” Lewis! But he still went there... And dragged the Queen’s ass dow, YES BOII! too bad that Maia has to suffer because of it...

7. MAIA

Poor, poor girl. Queen is fucking carzy. OMG... But Simon and Luke are loking for her soo... She’ll be all right? Right? Please? And I like that “beta” trope even if that’s not actually a thing XD

8. LUKE

Yeah good alpha Luke trope! Sign me tf up! He’s thinking about his pack and is a good leader and stilll thinks about a Queen’s offer as a bad thing, yes! And cares for Maia. And knows what to do. And is done with everyone’s shit. Bravo!

10. MAGNUS

Dude. Please. I feel you! I really do! But ugh... I think emotions are clouding your judgment. And the alhocol. It’s definitly alcohol. I mean... Don’t drink this much it isn’t a way! Gathering warlocks in your loft is a good idea, yes, but accepting the Queen’s offer... NOT. SO. MUCH. I know that he’s in pain, heartbroken and confused but... Man... Please... At least rethink it... Like bazziliopn of times... And HEAR Luke. Because you listned to him but you didn’t HEAR him.

11. ALEC

I’m gonna repeat myself. YOU ARE A GREAT LEADER OMG. And thos fights. Mhm yess sing me tf up. He just carlessly shoot trogh two people right through their foreheads and being like “ugh nothing difficult”. God, I love him.

12. MALEC

They are gonna be fine. They will. Magnus is still thinking. Alec is trying. Next week hell will break down. And they will fight TOGETHER, SIDE BY SIDE I’m sure of it. But.. OMG HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE PICS?! SO, SO CUTE OMFG! And Alec is officialy a master of subtweeting.... We all know to who those words were directed to...

13. IZZY

Trust A Lightwood To Care, really, And don’t mess with them. Izzy is a perfect exapmle of it. Oh, you’ve almosted killed her baby brother? Beware, you don’t know the time nor day when she’ll come to kill you in her heels lookng so badass. Like wow she dragged Sebastian down with her whip looking stunning and mad af. You go Izzy! <3 And I’m glad that she and Raphael are okay. Ship? No. Brotp? Yes, sure!

14. Rapahel

Hi. nice you understand your dad. Really. But please talk to him. And also you too rethink Queen’s offer. You, like Magnus, know Shadowhunters from their softer side... You should understand... :(

15. Catarina & Madzie

The Queen has come. And she’s beautiful. And I already love her. She is truley amazing and she said like two sentences, lol. It’s so easy to but me lol...

And Madzie! Omg! Long time to see! She was as cute as always! And she talks! yes! Catarina has a good influence on you kiddo!

14. Imogen

Hi... And bye.. At least you are accepting Alec as a Head of the Institute...

15. AFTER ALL

This episode was... Good. Not amazing, but good. I liked the tropes, the battles are amazing and I see you writers I know what you wanna do... But I fucking begging you... Not more jump scares like this one with the real Sebastian Verlac... Shit I was so scared that I actually had to stop the video... And don’t do this again with those zombies either... But putting this aside... i really liked the fighting scenes... And I wanna play Madzie... No, not even because I would get to play in Shadowhunters BUT HARRY SHUM JR WOULD LIFT ME UP AND HUG ME (though I’m heavy so idk...) Speaking of which today’s prize for acting lands to Will Tudor, Alan van Spraang and Dom Sherwood. Oh and... the scene “I’m gonna go with Alec/I’m gonna go with Izzy” made my laugh so hard and I don’t even know why...

That was the epicest season finale ever!!! What was your fave scenes and what are you excited for/want to see more of, in season 3? Btw, I love your blog, its My shadowhunters bible

I don’t think it was epic season finale and more epic was 2x18, hands down, but yes, it was a really great finale and I have to say, I enjoyed every single second of it. When not even Clary Fray bugs me for once and I totally end up cheering for her when she was shaking Valentine and I think that the Clace kiss was the best Clace kiss we have seen to date, then yes, you see I totally loved that episode. 

I think the only thing that bugged me a little bit was the parabatai scenes. Then again, that storyline is bugging me ever since 2x04 (since I thought 2x03 established the real deal behind this…..siiigh). The inconsistency as well as them only using that bond as a plot device is annoying. That whole concept of the parabatai is beautiful and amazing but so far it always ended up being badly written and annoying and Alec suffering, preferably ending up on the floor. Honestly they really need to work on that because it has so much potential. After all Jace and Alec aren’t just parabatai but they are also brothers(!) and now Alec is actually also Jace’s boss. So please, give me more and better written scenes. Fighting, talking, joking, …. whatever. Just, deliver this better than all through s2, kthxbye.  (I also hope they give me a good explanation for Ollie because I don’t get her purpose yet and she kinda annoyed me a lot. So, let’s wait and see.)

The best scene tho? Hmmm. I am torn. I mean, yes, the last Malec scene? Gawd! I am still sobbing over “I don’t think I can live without you.” I cannot believe he really said that. If they would pan away that scene with Malec hand holding instead of arms around waists, I probably would have totally lost it. @s3a: Deliver this please, I am looking at you! Not to mention that I am still crying over Magnus’ suspenders and that jacket and how beautifully shot that scene was. Like, straight out of a romance movie lbr. 

Then again, I also enjoyed battle!couple Malec a lot. I am hoping we will see more of that in s3 because I need. And hopefully this time not with Magnus saving Alec’s ass because duh… Alec, you had ONE (1) job. lmao Also, I know a lot of people didn’t get it but I am also still highly amused of the first Malec scene and Magnus being so petty and salty and Alec rolling his eyes excessively. I love these salty and petty boyfriends, goodbye.

But yeah, there were so many great scenes in the finale. I mean, think of Luke and how he shut up Meliorn? Drunk!Luke? The special effects of Raziel and the shots of Lake Lyn? It looked amazing!

As for wishes for s3? 

Domestic!Malec and all the intimacy, for sure. But also I wanna see them talking and figuring stuff out because I think we can all agree that they still need to do that after 2x20 since not everything is back to roses and daisies

Luke/Maryse because duh. So much potential and I am so here for this!

Maia! Maia becoming alpha? Whatever, she is a queen and I hope she starts dating Bat at one point because Jordan can fuck right off. I don’t know him!

Aline needs to be back and form the gay brotp with Alec. Also: Heline!

CATARINA! (as mentioned above, give me friendships @ show!)

Parabatai bond, and hopefully not only as a plot device because I really like that bond/concept and what it stands for!

I know it is all drama and angst and I enjoy it but I would love to also see some lighter moments. I somehow miss the “humour” from s1 and lines like “I do you pro bono.” f.e.

I would also love to see Lily. Imagine Lily, Maia and Alec. Bye!

hopefully they continue with the political and racial storyline from 2b, there is still so much to explore and with this cast and all… please do that! Then again, they wanna explore the world, so that sounds promising.

I also would say give me the Prince of Hell storyline, like… give me Asmodeus but I am realistic. I don’t think that’ll happen in s3? Maybe in 3b? But anyway, I can’t wait!

please keep the lighting of 2b! I never wanna see the ugliness that was 2a again, kthxbye!

There’s probably a lot more but honestly, they just need to continue with s3 like they started it with s2b and I am more than hopeful for another great season of “Shadowhunters”.
