cat!hawks could be the cutest cat ever or a menace.

or he can be both.

he loves food. he is always curious about what you are eating. be careful when you eat something, he might snatch it from your hands!!

a talkactive cat (mostly). loves meowing and purring. he is a loud cat. sooo if you need to concentrate, it might be hard since he loved his own voice so much.

you might catch him talking to his reflection on the mirror. it is really adorable.

but anyway! cat!hawks is a true hunter. don't let him see small animals, or he's going to hunt them (and this is why you could not have other pets in your house).

but, you know, cat!hawks hunts for you! he wants to gift his precious owner some treats!

he loves high place. cat!hawks often climbs to the top of your shelves and perches there. i think he likes to observe people from above...

oh, and, i hope you don't have a faint heart. you see, cats' eyes glow in the dark, right? it's fascinating, right? except when you laid on your bed at night, with your lights all turn off, and you see those glowing eyes on the top of your shelves.

yeah. that'd be an interesting experience.

does cat!hawks like to be petted? hmm, i can't say he hates it. there are some days where he wants to be petted, there are some days where he wants to be left alone.

a hoarder!! when cat!hawks finds something he likes, he would take the thing to his corner of the room (yes, he has his own corner).

cat!hawks has long whiskers. they are very cute!!

he is a smart cat. i mean, cats are smart. but cat!hawks seems to be smarter than the other cats. he knows how to open the door, he knows where you keep that special treat he loves so much, and he knows when you are feeling sad. when you feel sad, he will approach you and give you something (random things he collected in his corner of the room). he just wants to make you happy!

I've been churning through so many Sonic character redesigns, here are some of the sketches. I post these and more on my Discord server as I make them, these are just the ones I probably won't bother turning into full drawings. Here's the thoughts on each:

The Freedom Fighters, but I specifically imagined these being their outfits during Sonic Forces since Forces' story could be so similar to SatAM's. Sally and Bunnie have stories and trios before this (Sally with Mighty and Ray, being smol woodland creatures, and Bunnie being with Fang and Trip, being western outlaws hired by Eggman)

Nicole the Holo-lynx. Now looks more holo and more like a lynx. May or may not make an even fleshier version on top of these

Sage, also made to look more digital, but honestly I don't care enough about her character to really consider including her anywhere. Who knows tho

Jewel, made to look like an actual insect. I got the insect Mobian idea first with Charmy of course but I'll probably draw the Chaotix in full later

Jet, honestly one of my favorite redesigns so far. It just ended so perfect, even making his shoes more like bird claws.

Big, basically the same just made more frazzled and wild-looking

Lanolin, made to look like that other kind of sheep and also made chubbier cuz sheep have a chubby aura

Bokkun, now is himself the exploding message. I wanted him to look like Eggman just randomly strapped a rocket to his back, instead of being a normal jetpack. He loves exploding and being rebuilt.

One of the Ancients, now given clothes that match the vibe of some of their creations. I also thought it would be cooler if the Koco were their actual brains/bodies, and the gel exterior is another part of their technology to make them stronger and more versatile.

Introducing the adopted son of Jet the Hawk, Rocket the Rooster! 😁

Some info:

Was found as an orphan by Jet when he was very young. He was taken under Jet's wing after being caught trying to steal from the Babylon Rogues. Despite initially being seen as an apprenticeship of sorts, Jet and Rocket eventually grew to see each other as father and son.

He is rivals with Stellar the Hedgehog and is love rivals with Camellia the Cat. Stellar thinks he is super cool, and she has a crush on him. Camellia hates him with a fiery passion. 😂

When he came out, he chose the name "Rocket" to cement his place among the Babylon Rogues.

He was raised to view Sonic (and by extension, Stellar) as rivals/competition. Jet is very happy to get under Sonic's skin by having his son outdo (and potentially romance???) his daughter.

Flirts with Stellar when they compete to try and get the upper hand by distracting her. She is too gullible to recognize he is just doing it to win.

Affectionately called "Rocky" by friends and family.

Both Sonic and Shadow don't like him being around Stellar.

Less of a showboat than Jet, but still has an ego.

Doesn't actually catch feelings for Stellar until she realizes what a dick he is and wrecks his shit. It is the second she kicks him so hard he sees stars that he understands why she is named "Stellar". By that point, of course, Stellar has written him off (much to Camellia's delight).
