Did you noticed Sam's time on IG these last 3 days? Back in Scotland?
Yes, of course I noticed the times he posted on IG. I keep track of them and list them. That's why I'm always amazed when people jump to all kind of conclusions that do not match with the reality but for some kind of reason, mostly confirmation bias, add up to the story they've build in their heads.
I mean, the ones claiming he barely posted on IG this whole week and make assumptions, he must have been ill (as his voice in the video yesterday seem to sound a little sore) to people way to much focussed on dates for which there is hardly a shred of evidence, only smoke and mirrors, now claiming they found the answer on the eternal chicken and egg question. 🙄
Anyway, it doesn't cure fatal diseases nor will it solve any wars. So, nope not gonna entertain that nonsense.
So yes, I did look at the times he posted, last Friday only 3 reposts all at the same time, just before 7pm (UK time). Could indicate flying somewhere. Could be back home, could be elsewhere.... and then yesterday the video announcing his whisky available in Canada.
Surely enough I looked a bit into it, curiosity kills the cat, and I did notice the Scottish flag on the framed poster.
A poster called The Complete Robert Burns and can be ordered online shipped to wherever you want it! #justsaying
So, at itself it doesn't really determine that it must be in Scotland (or his home for that matter) someone in China with Scottish roots or loving Burns work could order it and put it on their wall as well....
I never saw this poster at his house, which also doesn't exclude that option, as it could simply be a corner in the tavern he hasn't shown us yet. It's at least not the usual spot he records his videos in his tavern, but sure he could have chosen that spot for St. Andrews day 🤷♀️
What made me doubt though was the glass he used for his whisky....
I asked myself, wouldn't he use his own SS whisky glass when he was at home? As far as I can remember he always does, and it's only in hotel rooms we see him use other.
Oh and for the people saying he didn't wear his rings, well... I do think he can take them off in a hotel room as well.
Anyway, those were the thoughts I had, there isn't much more to go by. The tiny furniture parts we can see for a sec or less isn't enough to go by. Add to that we don't know when he recorded this video, though I don't think it was weeks ago and do think it is recent if not RT.
So, yes it's back to the times, while yesterday his first reposted story was quite early for UK, today (so far) it's between noon and the beginning of the evening UK times. It does match mostly UK, but I'm not entirely sure, so it's still speculation.
I know you al will draw your own conclusions, and that's okay. But for my sanity, please use your good sense of reality. I'm still looking for one eyeball, as I rolled my eyes so much at my inbox...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Later edit, after posting above I received this Anon
which shows indeed the same framed poster (in his old house) so he does own one, and makes it more credible the video yesterday was recorded at his tavern.
Thanks Anon 🧡🧡🧡

So, in light of the surprise science baby experiment I fell victim to yesterday, I have been doing some thinking (always dangerous) and here are a handful of random thoughts...
Mishka is the one to bring up the idea of having a child. Nikolai requires a little convincing, not because he doesn't like or want children, but because he's never really thought of himself as parent material. Once he makes up his mind, however, he's all-in.
No one in their circle is the least bit surprised that Mishka wants a baby. Everyone is surprised that Nikolai wants one.
The fact that Nikolai and Mishka have absolutely no idea what they're doing does not deter them from the idea of parenthood.
Their equally childless and clueless friends attempting to plan a baby shower is a recipe for chaos. (Imagine the bizarre and probably useless gifts and the weird baby name suggestions).
At least they don't have to worry about how they'll renovate the room and put together the baby furniture. Nikolai's longtime hobby is woodworking, and he's clever at building and anything to do with tools and home repair. Beth-Anne is also handy with a toolbox and a paintbrush, and she's only too glad to help. Mishka stays out of the way. He's bad with tools and Nikolai would be worried he'd hurt himself somehow. Plus, there'd probably be more paint on him than on the walls by the time all's said and done.
Mishka now has a valid reason to knit cute little baby clothes and accessories, and he can stop trying to dress up the cats in cute outfits. The cats are relieved.
George & Evie and Stan & Milena turn out to be better sources of parenting advice than Mike & Elena. Grandpa Nikolai has Opinions™ about the whole thing. Mishka's parents, Ivan and Katerina, who weren't particularly amused by their son marrying another man, are even less amused by the science baby situation. They also have Opinions™ which they try to impose as forcefully as possible long-distance. Nikolai is Not Impressed™ by his in-laws' attitude.
Vika and Luka are thrilled, but Luka doesn't miss the opportunity to tease his brother every chance he gets. ("Mishka, are you going to be the mother?")
Natascha is indifferent about becoming an aunt. She's happy for Nikolai and Mishka, but she's not a fan of kids. She'll likely be the last person they'd ever ask to babysit.
Nikolai is adamant that if their baby is a boy, he's not going to continue his family's generations-long tradition of naming firstborn sons after their paternal grandfathers. Aside from the fact that he thinks it's silly, in this case it'd also be incredibly confusing, considering that Mishka and Nikolai's father Mike are both actually Mikhail. He doesn't want his potential future son to be another Mikhail. Both Mike and Grandpa Nikolai have mixed feelings about this decision.
They also decide their child will have a regular middle name rather than a Russian patronymic, mostly because they'd have to figure out which father the patronymic would come from, and they don't want to bother dealing with that.
They want their child to be bilingual from the start, and plan for Mishka to speak Russian to them and for Nikolai to speak English. Although technically Nikolai's first language is also Russian, he was born in Canada and was surrounded by English-speakers from a very young age and grew up speaking English at school and mostly everywhere else outside his home. Mishka, on the other hand, didn't really make an effort to learn English until he was an adult. He's fully capable of communicating in English now, but he and Nikolai speak Russian at home, and he still prefers Russian over English.
Mishka is a stay-home dad. It's exhausting, but he loves it and thinks this was probably his true calling in life all along. Nikolai is happy because Mishka is so obviously happy.
Before the baby is independently mobile, Nikolai brings him to the rink all the time. He becomes somewhat of a feature there, and almost everyone makes a point of seeing him, whether they're Nikolai's students or not.
Some babies settle down when they’re driven around in the car. This baby settles down when he’s bundled up in warm clothes and one or the other of his parents skates with him in their arms. They decide not to get rid of their backyard rink right away, for this reason.
Mishka works up the courage to go to a parent-and-baby group and is shocked and anxious when he discovers he's the only dad in the group. All the moms fall in love with Mishka though, and it goes surprisingly well, with Mishka making some unexpected new friends. Almost everyone Mishka and Nikolai knows thinks this is hilarious.
This kid has numerous honorary grandparents, not the least of whom is Beth-Anne (who will no doubt be a bad influence on him).

Photo: Shana Couillard / posted in Weird (and Wonderful) Secondhand Finds That Just Need To Be Shared in December 2019
This photo is two years old, their names are Snuffles and Zelda, they are African Pygmy Hedgehogs. I live in Canada, and we can buy them at the pet stores here. They eat mostly cat food and chicken, but canned mealworms are a treat. They are pretty much like keeping any smaller caged animal, but they need to be really warm all the time, (similar to keeping a basking lizard). The furniture and backdrop is from an IKEA doll set. I'm also really excited to hear that so many of you have the same tiny ducky tea cups, so cute!

Asked the roommates if they knew how the bathroom sink got cracked and they responded with 'oh we don't use that' which I already suspected but hearing it out loud is still... Jarring. No handwashing, no toothbrushes and showers are about a once a month occurrence at best.
You can probably imagine the smell and all I'm going to say is it's probably worse than that. They have an AC unit that they let leak onto a towel on the windowsill for an entire summer and I don't think they ever tossed the towel. When they left the AC sitting in the hallway it smelled like death and disease and made us gag. We banished it to the deepest darkest corner of the basement just to get the smell as far away as possible.
When they do shower the floor of the shower gets incredibly sticky. They leave their soap bars in boxes in the shower - so the cardboard gets wet and starts to disintegrate and meld with the soap. The area around the toilet always smells pissy despite us mopping regularly to try and avoid it. There's a constant growing collection of fuzz, receipts and random magic the gathering cards that show up on the stairs and floor.
Let's not even get started on the fact that I've found literal shit marks on the bathroom floor and had to clean them because no one would admit that they did it - I know damn well it wasn't me, my husband or my uncle in-law.
Oh they have a male cat that they never fixed or litter trained either. He won't piss in a litter box because he was never taught he just trashes the couch downstairs so it's unusable (we've put down drop sheets to try and mitigate it soaking in worse but you can't really do much with a cat like that around. He shits in a box most of the time but it's left until the box is piled up. The cat was never properly socialized so it's extremely skittish and tends to go after me every time I go downstairs (thankfully he's easily scared off but he's tried to claw me multiple times I do my best to avoid him or shoo him away.) scratches up anything fabric also so even if the furniture wasn't being fucking pissed on it it would still get wrecked.
One of them managed to get kicked off of the Canadian equivalent of welfare (Which is nuts - they don't ask much I've never heard of anyone getting kicked off it. they set you up with really good job search organizations and they'll even pay for schooling and training programs for you!! They write you a resume they look for jobs for you they'll apply on your behalf to jobs you approve it makes the process so much easier. They do genuinely try to help you and give a shit)
I hate living with people who have such deplorable hygiene and low living standards. it is like a form of psychological torture. They should not own an animal either (clearly). Like not to be an ass but people like this need to be in some sort of assisted living controlled environment situation. For their own sake and for everyone else's.
They rarely clean up - one might take out the garbage occasionally or wipe the counter but that's about as far as that goes. And it's not like we haven't asked and tried to make reasonable requests to just do the bare minimum (take out the garbage in your room so we don't get fly/fruit fly problems - we have them in DECEMBER in fucking Canada. Please don't leave the drain clogged with macaroni noodles. Rinse your cups and empty them instead of throwing them in the recycling with residual bits of sugary drinks and coffee).
I can't pick up the slack for them in every way I struggle to manage my own shit and it's not fair! I'm so frustrated with it man. I have depression I have ADHD I'm barely hanging on.
(they won't get evicted either due to certain circumstances.. super manipulative mother who takes advantage of people's kindness to put it simply)
I just needed to vent because it's too much sometimes. Our rent is cheap and it's a stable situation but God if they don't make it difficult (and that cat!!. Needs to be fixed and live somewhere else a cat with a pissing problem like that does not belong inside - and I'm usually against that but not in this case. Not fair to have that cat inside someone's home.)
Ughhhhh.

Types of Cat Safe Upholstery Fabrics
When choosing a cat safe upholstery fabric, it is important to consider the different types available on the market. Each type has its own characteristics and advantages. In this section, we will explore the different types of cat safe upholstery fabrics and why they are suitable for homes with cats.
Cat-safe microfiber fabric
This synthetic fabric is made of extremely fine fibers that give it a soft, luxurious feel, and the tightly woven fibers create a barrier that prevents cat claws from causing damage, making it an excellent choice for cat owners.
In addition, microfiber upholstery fabrics are stain and spill resistant. They repel liquids, preventing them from soaking into the fabric and causing permanent stains. This makes cleaning and maintenance easier, especially in the event of cat accidents.
Cat-Safe Upholstery Fabric leather upholstery
Leather is another popular choice among cat-safe upholstery fabrics. Genuine leather is known for its durability and strength, making it impervious to scratches and tears from cat claws. It can withstand daily wear and tear, ensuring that your furniture remains in good condition even with a cat in the house.
However, it's important to note that not all fur upholstery fabrics are safe for cats. Some cats may scratch and damage certain types of fur. To ensure cat safety, you should choose fur upholstery fabrics that have been treated with protective coatings or opt for faux fur alternatives that offer similar benefits.
Cat-Safe Upholstery Fabric Crypton fabric for upholstered furniture
Crypton fabric for cat-safe upholstery has been specially developed to resist stains, odors and moisture, and is manufactured using a patented technology that creates a barrier to prevent liquids from penetrating the fabric, making it easier to clean up after accidents involving your cat and helping to maintain the fabric's appearance.
In addition to being stain resistant, Crypton fabric is odor and bacteria resistant, making it the ideal choice for homes with cats. It is easy to clean with soap and water and dries quickly, reducing the risk of mold and mildew.
Cat-Safe Upholstery Fabric velvet upholstery fabric
Cat-friendly velvet offers a luxurious and elegant look while being durable and cat-friendly. This fabric is made of tightly woven fibers that resist scratches and stains from cats, and is often treated with stain-resistant coatings to increase its durability and make it easier to clean.
When choosing cat-safe velvet upholstery, opt for fabrics with a shorter pile height, as longer pile heights are more susceptible to scratches and damage from cat claws. Also, choose darker colors or patterns to hide possible signs of wear or scratches.
Cat-Safe Upholstery Fabrics for outdoors use
For those who have outdoor furniture and want to protect it from cats, a cat-proof outdoor upholstery fabric is the ideal choice. This fabric is designed to withstand the elements, which means it is resistant to fading, moisture and mildew. It is also very durable and can withstand wear and tear from pets.
When choosing cat-safe outdoor upholstery fabrics, look for UV-resistant and water-repellent materials to keep your furniture looking good even in the sun and rain. Also, choose fabrics that are easy to clean and maintain.
Choosing the right cat-friendly upholstery fabric is crucial to the longevity and appearance of your furniture in a cat-friendly home. Microfiber, leather, crypton, velvet and outdoor fabrics are excellent choices that offer different benefits and meet different needs.
When choosing the fabric that best suits your lifestyle and aesthetic preferences, consider your specific requirements, such as durability, stain resistance and ease of cleaning.
