A cat eats grass, it's strange, isn't it?
The cat is a feline characterized by a carnivorous diet. It is an animal that its diet consists mainly of animal protein. Cats have a strange, very special interest in a plant that we cannot imagine. It is indeed grass! Perhaps, one day, you have observed your cat in the greenery, the fresh grass, or attracted by the plants in your living room. The question that arises is why a carnivore like the cat has a need to feed on grass. Why does this feline have a strange appetite?

extremely exhausted. probably coming down with a cold. and unable to fall asleep because I'm thinking about the stray cat I've been taking care of for 5 years who's in the hospital and probably won't make it.
#my mum (who's also been taking care of him) noticed a few days ago he had lost a lot of weight. wasn't eating or grooming himself#and today she managed to get him to the vet with the help of my aunt's partner#and the prognosis... wasn't great. we dont know what's wrong with him yet (will know by monday) but he's in very bad shape#the vet was very worried. put him on iv and is doing bloodwork on him#and i just. i dont wanna have hope that it may be sth fixable. because i know it probably isn't.#and it's better to not have hope. than believe he'll be ok only for him to be gone by Monday#i just wish i was home so i could see him one last time and say goodbye. I'll miss him so much.#he's like my own cats atp he just doesn't live inside our apartment#and he's such a good sweet boy. has the cuttest saddest meow. is a bully to other cats but loves humans. fluffiest man ever.#he deserved so much better. and im glad that if he does go it'll be in a warm safe place#and not in the grass and out in the cold all alone. but i just wish i could have said goodbye.#tw animal death#idk im just. I've been crying on and off all day#but i went out with a friend for 6hrs and it helped. but now im all alone tryig to sleep and i just cant#and my head and eyes and nose also hurt because i probably caught a cold#i hate everything

We're up to 4 harley mews and one chirpy sound when she jumped on her cat tree
#chewby is really enjoying the backyard lol#played fetch until she was worn out enough that she wouldnt let my dad throw the ball anymore#then just flopped over into the grass#harley still has not used her litterbox#but i think she has at least stepped into it cuz there appeared to be some paw prints#she started drinking water last night finally#and i got her to eat a little wet food#still hasnt eaten any kibble but i moved it down in front of the box shes been hiding in to maybe entice her since eating on the cat tree#was a little too scary

speaking of yearning. god i cannot wait (like literally) to go home with the cat. it will make my whole life better… like all of it
#ive been So off today (no spoons. foggy. everything aches.) and i keep thinking… if the cat was keeping me company all of this would feel -#- so so so much more tolerable#hes the laziest sweetest cuddliest little guy and he would spend all day with me in bed so long as i didnt stop petting him#just the feeling of another little living creature There. just the warm cat presence. just that comfort#and the routine of taking care of him… heres something i have to do. heres a little living being that has to have food morning and evening#heres a little fluffy guy who needs you to brush his fur#heres someone who might wanna go out and sit in the grass even if youre feeling ugh about it#basically. i think the responsibility of taking care of someone else will make it easier to take care of myself too#what is feeding the cat if not a reminder that i need to eat#what is brushing the cat if not a reminder that i might have some hygiene to take care of#yknow#and also holding and petting and scratching cat is the cure to any physical ailment truly#z talks
