as soon as he enters the shop, he takes note of how cramped everything seems to be - the small space combined with the stacked shelves displaying all manners of merchandise makes the shop feel crowded, even when he and the shopkeeper seem to be the only ones inside.

but he’s not here for the merchandise. walking up to the counter without sparing the rest of the shop another glance, he sends the lady there a smile. 

"this is a... magic shop, right? i saw the sign from across the road, and got curious.”

“looks like you’ve got a lot of stock here. do you make all of your goods?”

– 💎 Dazzling ruby eyes look upon the magic shop sign with curiosity. He ponders the wonders that the shop withholds on the inside. G’raha lightheartedly predicts the types of objects and creatures he is bound to find within the confines of the small shop. He enters into the shop, his ears perking up in excitement upon seeing the vials, mushrooms, charms and much more.

“Marvelous. Absolutely marvelous,” he breathes out as he closes the distance with a shelf of vials. The array of colors surprises G’raha. He has seen alchemists create various of tinctures before, but never so colorful. “Assortment of potions and elixirs, no doubt,” he tells himself as he picks one up. 

“The mixture is perfectly cohesive. An expert alchemist undoubtedly fashioned these concoctions.”

The sun rested above the trees, rising or falling ignored for now. A gentle buzz of distant cicadas rumbled from the trees on the shore, and though ripples travelled through the lake’s waters, the lake itself was quiet. A hand-carved wooden boat floated in the middle of the lake, and atop it sat two figures, a bucket, and a cooler. The Nightmare Knight, six feet tall to be manageable instead of his massive form, sat hunched over a fishing rod. Atop his helmet of a head, a bucket hat, decorated with various colorful lures.

Next to him, sat his passenger, in this case one Marisa Kirisame. Next to them sat the cooler, full of cool drinks and some sandwiches. It was a humid afternoon in summer, after all. It was bound to get warm. At least the only extra thing they had on was a utility vest. If it had sleeves, this could get unbearable.

Unless they got to the lake early in the morning, instead of the afternoon. Hard to tell.

“... So. How are things?” Though hunched over the rod, carefully studying the water, the Nightmare Knight tries to catch the attention of his partner in this piscine business. Talking was part of the experience, anyway. It just didn’t help that he was bad at it, when he didn’t have a script in mind.

‘How unexpected!’, was the first thought that drifted into her little mind as she carefully inspected the large ( and somewhat eye-catching to her ) sign she had spotted in the corner of her eye while taking a stroll through the area. Now this was something familiar to her, albeit she’s never visited the real thing proper. But such surprise that it was here of all places! 

Did this mean that perhaps...?

Thus: with no second thought, a rather excited Koishi waltzes into the Kirisame Magic Shop－ or at the very least, attempted to get inside somehow. Besides, if no one was around, nobody’d care if she took a teeny little something, right? It’s not like anyone’d notice!
