If the requests are open could you do some headcanons for Trevor, Sypha and Alucard with a court jester S/O? (They may be currently courtless). They're fun and snarky and they love their partners laugh however rare it may be - so they make it their mission to get them to crack up as often as possible.

🎭 Castlevania Trio w/ A Court Jester S/O HC: 🎭

Trio: 

If anyone could use some cheering up, it’s these three lol.

After all the three have been through, genuine laughter is hard to come by. 

That’s where our Court Jester S/O comes in. 

They’re smart, and quick-witted, and pretty fast on their feet. They probably come into the trio’s life sometime after S4 ends. Currently courtless, they were traveling in search of a new court when they came across Village Belmont- a small but thriving new settlement, complete with a huge castle right in the middle, so they assumed there must be some sort of royal court inside. 

They’re very impressed by the way things are run/ruled: it’s not exactly a democracy, but it certainly isn’t a monarchy either, which sort of takes the pressure off. It’s easier to be naturally comedic when you don’t have to tailor all of your humor towards one /almighty/ ruler. 

They’re immediately drawn to the trio. I mean, who wouldn't be? Lol. But it’s more than mere fascination, they feel a sort of responsibility to cheer them up. Hearing their stories, hearing of all the trials and trauma they went through, our Court Jester makes up their mind to do everything in their power to make each of the trio laugh. 

Trevor: 

Trevor is the second hardest of the group to make laugh. He’s not against humor, and he has a habit of making witty comments under his breath, but he’s tired as all hell. It’s hard to laugh when you’re just so exhausted. After all, it’s not every day you get in a fight with Death and win. Needless to say, the guy needs some recovery time. 

But he does love a good sarcastic joke, especially if it’s teasing Alucard, or poking light fun at any of the superstitions the villagers have. Knowing so much about the truth of monster hunting it’s easy to sort of scoff/laugh at other people’s ignorance surrounding it. 

For example, one night, there were rumors an untethered group of vampires was heading in the castle’s general direction. Whether they were hellbent on bloodshed or negotiation was another question entirely, one that mattered not to the people. 

Going about his day, Trevor kept smelling garlic everywhere, which was odd, because there wasn’t any garland or garlic visible. After the stench became unbearable (it kept making Sypha’s morning sickness worse), he sought out Greta for answers. 

At the time Greta was conversing with our Court Jester S/O, laughing about something they said. When Trevor interrupted and asked why the hell he kept smelling garlic everywhere, Greta confided that a few of the villagers got in their heads that if they bathed in garlic water, vampires couldn’t touch them… To which our Jester replied, “Oh yeah. Because seasoned food is way less enticing.” 

Trevor let out a chuckle but otherwise held his tongue. It was only when he made it back inside to Sypha that he broke down in a fit of laughter as he relayed the information. The two’s hysterics could be heard outside. It was the perfect combination of sleep deprivation and hilarity that sent Trevor over the edge. 

From that day forward, whenever Trevor was in desperate need of a laugh, Jester would sneak a bulb of garlic into one of his pockets, before hiding and awaiting the snickers that were sure to follow. 

Sypha: 

Sypha laughs the most, although, not as much as she used to before meeting Trevor and going on this journey with him. The last few months they spent together on the road changed the way she looked at people and life. She’s still positive and always wants the best for everyone, but she’s hesitant, and much more guarded now. 

With Trevor back, everything seemed possible again. She didn’t feel as alone and lost. But there’s still a lot she has to carry. Being pregnant, leading a village, watching over Alucard, and helping Trevor heal take up most of her energy, leaving little left for an appreciation of humor. 

That doesn’t deter her Court Jester S/O though, nope! Not at all! They just try harder to see Sypha smile. 

They help her with whatever chores Sypha’s doing at the moment, making pleasant conversation, and trying some banter. When that doesn’t work, Jster opts for a more physical approach. They offer to carry a stack of papers down to the cellar before tripping and falling three-stooges-style down the stairs. The paper goes flying everywhere, like confetti. But before Sypha can even blink, they pop back up, their little bells jingling as they do so: “I’m okay!” Cue paper continuing to fall comedically around them. 

Sypha is stunned with concern for a moment before she starts to giggle. One giggle, then twp, before she’s holding her swollen belly laughing. “That was perfect,” she says. “But for safety purposes, let’s try not to do that again.” 

Jester is careful, but they don’t stop the physical humor completely. They love making moves, even Sypha can’t see coming. For example, when Sypha uses her Speaker magic to conjure floating ice steps, Jester will try to climb up onto it from below, even going as far to get a ladder if they have to, just to slide themselves over the edge and start to do pull-ups on it. Yes, it’s slippery and hazardous, but Jester knows how to fall. They’ve done it so many times, they’re practically an expert by now lol. 

The sheer zaniness of Jester’s actions never fails to bring a knowing smile to Sypha’s face. She just asks that they promise not to act that way when her baby comes around, lest they teach her kid any ideas. 

Alucard: 

Alucard is by far the hardest to make laugh. He’s much more introverted and stoic than the other two. That’s not to say he doesn’t laugh or doesn’t enjoy humor- he does, but it’s much quieter and more subtle than the others. 

Alucard was under a lot of pressure at the end of S4, especially before Trevor seemingly returned from the dead. His stress levels were through the roof, even if he tried hiding it. 

In all the chaos, the one thing Alucard found brought him the most joy was playing with the kids in the village. He liked hearing them laugh as he chased after them from above, or snuck up on them when playing hide and seek. It reminded him so much of how his parents would play with him when he was a little boy growing up in the castle. 

This of course doesn’t go unnoticed by his Jester S/O, who makes a secret pact with the orphaned children to play a funny prank on Alucard when he’s least expecting it. 

The timing just so happened to work out perfectly. It happens just after the first snow of the season. The ground becomes coated in heavy, packing snow- perfect for making snowmen and snowballs. Jester and the children get bundled up and build two modest, unsuspecting forts. Then Jester asks Alucard to come help them referee the children's snowball fight. With a bit of begging, Alucard relents, happy to give Trevor and Sypha some alone time with their new baby. 

Unbeknownst to Alucard however, is that he is the intended target of the snowball fight. And that the two forts are stocked full of pre-made snowballs ready to launch on hidden catapults, perfect for surprisingly even the smartest of dhampir. 

Once Alucard gets into position, and gives the signal for the fight to begin, the kids unleash their snowball fury. They get a good few solid hits in before Alucard’s brain catches up to the fact he’s been bamboozled. He makes a move to super-speed away but not before Jester and a handful of other older kids tackle Alucard to the ground. Yes, they all end up getting pulled with snowball after snowball from their makeshift catapult contraption, but the snow in their hair and all over their clothes is well worth it. 

Alucard, covered in snow and ice, and now freezing children throws his head back and laughs- a deep genuine laugh. 

How surprising human joy is to him, even after all of this time. It’s infectious, and Alucard finds himself grateful to be amongst friends. 

After everyone’s nose starts to freeze, he ushers the children back inside their respective homes, promising to play with everyone again tomorrow. 

Once he and Jester are back inside, he offers to make tea for the two of them. Jester of course accepts graciously, still warming themselves by the fire. Alucard leaves for the kitchen, but not before lobbing one perfectly formed snowball right at Jester’s back. Revenge was a dish best served cold after all.

Alucard

He’d probably have the better adjustment of the three, given the home that he grew up in/was used to. Still, he’d be naturally curious about things and would be his most authentic self in museums and libraries

Trevor

Some things interest him and other times he’ll be like “what the hell is that?”, also naturally curious and constantly asks questions about where you live, how things work, and would admire some of the scenery too

Sypha

She’s so excited to see all these new things in your world! Would love car rides because she gets to see all the city sights and how bustling life is, takes a liking to the modern food and clothes

Modern phones and TV’s would absolutely break their brains fr! Would really fascinate them but also they would be like “why is the person in the tiny box talking to me?😳”

Can I request Castlevania Trio x Fem reader who’s a werewolf platonic hcs? Playful, dog-like, sharper senses than Alucard, and is like a rogue, like the fastest member in the party?

Werewolves are not his favorite.

The inherit animosity between vampires and wolves runs deep, but it they are willing to overlook that for a common good of destroying Dracula & the night creatures, then he supposes he can get past it as well.

Their…enthusasim is also not something he enjoys. Their persistent need for affection and validation is a lot for a stoic recluse like Alucard.

He tries to be understanding. Even offering to train them to control their shifts and fight better. He does value them as a companion.

Two peas in a pod. Or two idiots in a burlap sacks, depending on how you look at it.

Trevor always wanted a dog growing up, so he takes to their new wolf instantly (though he is aware they are not a dog and does not treat them that way).

They have a lot of the same energy. Curious, rakish, a bit of mischief wrapped in a playfully violent to full violent packaging.

His heart belongs to Sypha, but if she had never come into the picture Trevor could see himself wanting to be with them. Although their relationship would burn hot & bright before it inevitably exploded.

Sypha is fascinated by their lycanthrope qualities. Curious how a person was able to develop the skill to shift completely into an animal, control it, and what being as an animal is like for the sheer information gathering of a Speaker.

She asks a lot of questions, which seems to irk their wolf, but humors Sypha as best they can. They don’t have a lot of the answers for the simple fact that this has been their life and they don’t have a reason or answer, it just is.

They come into conflict between Sypha’s feelings for Trevor and her feelings that Trevor may prefer the wolf over her. When she realizes that’s not the case she apologizes and they mend their friendship completely.

Sypha is the only one that can talk them out of ‘wild shift’. A phenomenon in werewolves where they shift by will or by force and can’t get back out. Sypha’s calm, caring, consistent manner is able to soothe them and help them shift back. She then takes care of them for the rest of the evening.

After the first few weeks of spending all his time dedicated to easing the pain of after birth and focusing on healing your body with magic while simultaneously figuring just how to supply his new born child with the proper amount of attention and care, Alucards going to spend all his time with you snuggled in the nursery that was once meant for him, looking over the child he grows to love more and more each day even if they do interrupt his naps with you every so often

There's gonna be times where you walk in only to see Alucard making silly noises at his squirming baby, softly tickling and poking their sides as a way of spending time with them before noticing you're watching him from the doorway where he laughs a bit standing back up, not sure what to say other than "they seemed sad"

Trevor and Sypha would return to you two at the grand entrance of the castle guiding the child they don't recognize to stand on their feet and move forward, holding onto Alucards hands as support as you two argue on what age is appropriate for them to learn the ways of the sword. Sypha would be the first to connect the dots as she runs up to both of you beyond giddy at this sudden realization, for Trevor it would take a moment or so to process that Alucard is taking care of a whole baby now, seems something of a ridiculous dream if he's being honest

With how familiar Sypha is with kids due to being raised in a big family she can easily get Trevor to take care if your baby with her, giving you both ample time to rest up from the past months of exhaustion and loss of sleep, though Alucards gonna make a fuss about ensuring Trevor understands just how fragile a small being like his child is, the brute should know how to control his own strength but he just wants to make sure before he accompanies you in restful cuddles

Rescuing Hector, but with Werewolf!Reader fighting off Striga and getting heavily injured in doing so. Striga is on a vengeful war path of avenging Morana’s death. Striga was going after the trio, but Reader isn’t going to have that and the two brawl it out.

“Do you think they’ll ever be able to turn back?” Sypha asked from where she stood, in one of the many rows of bookshelves lining the Belmont hold. 

Several levels below her, Trevor grunted as he hauled large pieces of shattered support beams to the base of the main staircase. “It’s impressive how sentient they are now, being a were-creature and all.” 

“Yes, but they don’t want to stay a creature for the rest of their lives.” 

“Well, life isn’t always fucking fair,” Trevor cursed, half-out of breath, as he began lugging the large beam up the stairs. 

“I’m fairly certain she knows that,” Alucard intervened, entering the main chamber, having just arrived fresh off the newly built lift he installed. “Speakers see far more suffering than most people, seeing as they believe it is their duty to help the less fortunate.” 

“How’s the lift?” Sypha asked, coming over to the railing. “Does it work? Were the calculations correct?” 

Alucard nodded. “I needed to modify a few measurements, considering the potential excess weight load-”

“We’re not that heavy,” Trevor interrupted. “Or do you plan to start bringing villagers in by the dozen and give tours?” 

Alucard narrowed his eyes at Trevor. “I was considering the repairs that need to be done for all the damage the night creatures inflicted. Unless of course, you’d prefer to drag that thing up yet another hundred feet.” 

Trevor huffed, refusing to show his fatigue. “What? This old thing?” He locked his knees to keep them from buckling. “Can barely feel it.” 

Sypha rolled her eyes. “Could the two of you stop competing for one second?! We’re supposed to be looking for ways to help our friend!” 

Admitting defeat, Trevor dropped the large piece of timber at the next landing. “Sypha, we’ve been at it for months. Every book says the same thing: only the shapeshifter can cause a shift at will. Outside of whoever cursed them with the affliction undoing it themselves. Or killing the shapeshifter and using death magic to alter their form post-mortem, there’s nothing any of us can do.” 

Accepting her friend had a point, Sypha took one of the adjoining bridges, healing toward Trevor as he stopped to catch his breath. 

“I could freeze that beam and toss it out you know,” she gestured to where Alucard currently stood. 

“The last time you did that, we ended up with a giant hole in the ground.” 

“That wasn’t me, that was the night creatures.” 

“But you did break the castle,” Alucard countered. “All of the gears were melted.”

“I did not! I do not break things. I am a Speaker, I fix things!” 

Alucard chuckled, sharing a knowing look with Trevor. For as knowledgeable as she was, she certainly had a hard time admitting when she was wrong. 

“In either case, it will take years to repair, even with my vampiric speed and strength. Dracula engineered those cogs and wheels over several centuries, often hiring the best blacksmiths around.” 

The trio boarded the lift together, Trevor having decided to leave the broken beam behind for another day. 

“They worked here? With him?” Sypha asked. 

“The castle’s forge is quite extensive. And no matter their level of skill, I doubt any local blacksmith’s forge would be large enough to mold such immense gears. They could only manage such creation within the walls of the castle.” 

Trevor scoffed. “Did they know who they were working for?” 

“I’m certain they had suspicions, but I doubt my Fath-, Dracula ever told them the truth.” 

“That’s-” Trevor started.

“Sad,” Sypha finished for him. “To be alone all that time. To not be able to tell anyone who you are.” 

The ingenious pulley system lift finally came to a stop as it became level with the forest ground outside the Belmont hold. 

“Is that why you wish to help them so badly?” Alucard asked, referring to their new werewolf companion. “You feel they’re lonely?” 

“Well they were lonely, back in that cage, in that life,” Sypha reminded her friends, as Alucard locked the lift in place.

“They seem better now,” Trevor remarked, being the first to disembark. “After all, you keep bugging them every day, they’re hardly lonely.” 

Sypha elbowed him, lovingly. “I do not bug them. They enjoy my company.” 

“You keep forgetting Speakers are used to traveling in large groups,” Alucard reminded Belmont, once again, as the trio made their way back toward the entrance of the castle. “It’s shocking how much you've forgotten, the two of you being companions and all.” 

“The three of us being companions,” Sypha placed a reassuring hand on Alucard’s shoulder. 

The dhampir gave a soft smile at the Speaker’s action before averting his eyes. Stepping out of her embrace, he started to ascend the many stone steps at the front of the castle. 

“It’s about time for dinner. Let me see what I can cook up.”

It had been a few months since the trio and their newfound companion arrived back home at Castlevania. Most of that time was spent with Sypha and Trevor bickering over how best to treat their new friend, while Alucard dedicated his time in between assessing the broken mechanisms of the castle to reading all of the tomes his father had collected on shapeshifting. Unfortunately, all roads pointed in the same direction: it was up to their friend to shift themselves back. 

At the present moment their werewolf friend, or Wynn, as they liked to be called, was resting in one of the many castle bedrooms. Their furry body was sprawled out over the entire length of the mattress, as they lazily tracked falling specks of dust around with their big puppy-dog eyes. 

Despite spending so much time resting, they felt exhausted this evening. It was as if the last few months of recovery meant nothing! 

‘I don’t know why I’m so tired,’ they thought, shifting to curl up in a tighter ball. 

Finally shutting their eyes, they made one final wish before drifting off to sleep, the same wish they had been making every night for god knows how long. 

‘Please let me be human when I wake up, please.’

The sun had barely peaked over the horizon. Trevor and Alucard had woken up early to finally start clearing the major debris from the Belmont hold using the newly designed lift. So far Alucard had cleared twelve large beams while Trevor had managed to remove seven. Not that it was a competition or anything. It was at this point that Sypha had come to join them. 

“Well if it isn’t Sleeping Beauty, finally come to grace us humble footmen with her presence,” Trevor ribbed. 

“Nice pile,” Sypha gestured to Trevor’s lesser stack laid out next to Alucard’s. 

Trevor snorted. “Nice comeback.” 

Sypha crossed her arms. “I had a very long night last night. Which was entirely your fault by the way.” 

“My fault?” Trevor guffawed. “No no, I believe that last round was your fault.” 

Alucard, who had been watching amusedly from the sides, chose this moment to step in. “No, she’s right, I recall you were the one enticing us into that last round.” 

“Well, it’s not my fault if- hey,” Trevor suddenly straightened his back, and pointed to something in the distance. “Who’s that?” 

Both Alucard and Sypha turned around to see who Trevor was referring to. Almost immediately, Sypha clasped her hands together happily and began running over to meet this ‘stranger’. 

“Looks like Sypha wasn’t the last one to wake up,” Alucard nudged Trevor to come along. 

“No, but seriously, who the hell is that?” Trevor asked Alucard, keeping his wits about him. 

“You’re joking.” 

“I’ve never seen that person before in my life.” 

“That’s because you’ve never seen them before as a human.” 

Sypha, having finally reached Wynn where they stood, proudly and excitedly in their human form, pulled them in for a big hug. Clasping each other in a tight embrace, the two companion’s eyes began to water. 

“It’s so good to finally see you, my friend!” Sypha laughed, hugging Wynn closer. 

“It’s so good to be seen!” Wynn answered back, clearly overjoyed. 

After a good long moment, Sypha finally let go, turning around to face the boys. “Look who it is!” 

Wynn gave a polite wave, suddenly overcome by shyness under the focus of all three of their friends. “Um, hi? It’s nice to finally meet you.” 

Alucard stuck his hand out for a handshake, which Wynn eagerly accepted. “Likewise.” 

Sensing Trevor’s hesitation, Wynn outstretched their hand to Trevor. 

Shaking his head, Trevor grasped Wynn’s hand and pulled them in for a hug, nearly knocking them off their feet. 

Speechless and touched by Trevor’s gesture, Sypha shot a knowing look at Alucard. 

Despite being their gruff, sarcastic, and sometimes slower friend, Trevor really was like a teddy bear deep, deep underneath that jaded exterior. Sure, very few would ever come to know it unless they were close to him, but that made the trio’s relationship all the more special. And it was a very telling sign that Trevor was able to let his guard down for the sake of their new friend. 

It was as if at that very moment, the trio had become a quartet. And Wynn couldn’t be happier to finally be a part of it.

General Relationship Headcanons

Alucard:

He was scared initially, when he first started to realize that he might be in love with you. Love didn’t treat his parents too kindly, after all, and the last thing he wants is to end up like his father.

Still, his heart keeps doing this weird…thing whenever he’s around you, and no matter what he does, he can’t seem to calm it.

It actually gets worse once the two of you get together. It’s actually very easy to fluster him.

Days with him are usually spent exploring the castle that’s obviously way too big for two people. He’d show you the library and watch your eyes light up at the vastness of the collection.

“Which book takes your fancy today, my love?”

“Mm, let’s see. Whichever one is your favourite.”

Herb-picking in the gardens that almost always turns into a game of tag. He’s much faster than you, obviously, there’s absolutely no competition there. But you refuse to stop trying, so he takes pity on you and lets you catch him sometimes. Sometimes.

He’s in charge of dinner. It’s a unanimous decision because no matter how good of a cook you are, he is better.

Run your hands through his hair and he will melt.

Sometimes, you’d wake up in the middle of the night to find him having a nightmare. It’s not an uncommon occurrence for him, but having you there to comfort him afterwards makes it a lot easier to fall back asleep.

Having someone who cares for him is so foreign an experience for him at first, he doesn’t know what to do with all of this love and affection being given to him. Should he accept it? Can he reciprocate it? Does he even deserve it?

But he has always been so incredibly lonely, and being with you feels so good. He’ll revel in every second of it, unconsciously hanging off of your every word and cherishing every touch as if he’s going to lose it.

Tell him you love him. Tell him over and over again that you’re not going to leave him. You will need to reassure him a lot before he actually comes to believe you, but bear with him.

Sypha Belnades:

If there’s anything Sypha adores more than the thrill of hunting, it’s you.

You’re so sweet, and amazing, and so good to her, she sometimes thinks she doesn’t deserve it.

Even though she’ll drag you along on every other hunt despite your protests watch and learn, (y/n) she’s actually very protective of you. Will not let you come within five feet of anything even remotely dangerous.

She’s curious and ambitious and thrill seeking. There is never a dull moment when you’re with her.

Lazy mornings. Even if you do want to get out of bed early, she’ll just give you a wide, puppy-eyed gaze with her beautiful blue eyes and keep nagging you until you cave.

“Are you hungry, baby? I can make us some pancakes!”

“Absolutely not. You’ll just burn the house down. Stick to hunting, Sypha.”

She’ll pout at that, but then smile a little because it is the truth.

If her magic fascinates you, she’ll gladly teach you some of the basics.

Praise her skills and her magic a little and you can get her to do almost anything you want.

Her kisses are the softest, most intoxicating things in the world. You might think you’ve got her wrapped around your finger but it’s actually the other way around.

When in bed with you at night, she’ll gently run her fingers through your hair or trace the curve of your spine until you fall asleep.

Trevor Belmont:

Resident himbo. Trevor doesn’t even know how he scored you in the first place.

He’s very protective of you, and prefers that you stay as far away as possible from the things that his job inevitably cause the two of you to encounter. Of course, he cannot stop you if you really want to go with him. So, he’ll settle for having you within his sight at all times.

“I can take care of myself!”

“Sure, whatever you say, princess.”

He also gets jealous quite easily. All it takes is for another man to just look at you for a little too long, and he’d slam down whatever he is holding, pull you to his side and give you a long, bruisingly passionate kiss. That should clear any doubts anybody might have about you being taken.

Of course, if anyone is stupid enough to actually make a move on you, they’re going to lose a few teeth, among other things.

Loves being close to you. This man absolutely cannot keep his hands off of you.

He will find literally any excuse to touch you all the time, whether it be simply slinging an arm around your waist, or other less innocent touches.

He means well, but he just cannot get enough of you.

Inappropriate jokes and sexual innuendos galore.

If he’s particularly in a mood to tease you, he’d start and he’d refuse to let it go until you’re a blushing mess and hitting him in attempts to get him to stop.

As strong and confident as he comes off, it’s actually surprisingly easy to get him to melt. All you have to do is get close to him, trace his jawline, and whisper a few sweet nothings in his ear and he’ll become putty in your hands.

You’ve got him wrapped around your finger anyway.

He’s so hopelessly, head-over-heels in love with you that it scares him sometimes. After everything he has lost throughout his life, he doesn’t want to lose you too.

It’s why he is so insanely protective when it comes to you. He would fight to an inch of his life if it’s your safety that’s on the line.

she'll make you new colours by trying different mixtures and every once and again will come up to you chest all puffed up and hand you a small vial with the newest colour she concocted

she melts every time you compliment them and when she sees you using HER creations she just goes into overdrive

you ask her to pose for you once and she gets all flustered and cute and she's so nervous sitting there and when you show her the final piece she just is in awe because wow it's so pretty and OMG you only used the colours i made you AAAAAAAA

loves to go out into the woods with you, both of you taking your art things and just seeing what you could create
