A ship I have with said character: her and the unknown mermaid girl from grimoire of souls!!!!! she may not even be a character, but i will make up a narrative for them to be homosexual anyway.

A BROTP I have with said character: im gonna be controversial since richtet is the obvious answer: Alucard. i love their dynamic as friends, more for its potential rather than its actual execution (especially with the radio drama💢). i think for both richter and alucard, maria is a very grounding presence that reminds them "oh right, i am simply the victim of something very strange and beyond my control, but i am still human" because they can relate to her, she is very human and far less damaged by fate than they are. she struggles, but she isnt doomed by the narrative. she keeps them from thinking they are ACTUALLY what their fates have assigned to them. i dont see this as her responsibility, but as an effect she has on them without trying

A NOTP I have with said character: alucard and maria. they are friends.

A random headcanon: her animals are guardians of her family, and she inhereted them!

General Opinion over said character: despite that she is fairly well loved, her potential is rarely realized!!! ive seen her third wheeled so hard but she is actually such a crucial part in the sotn dynamic!!! she is a very important piece of the puzzle!!!!!
