Am I the only one who thinks that Alucard and Tera would kind of be a cute ship?

Let me explain!

Tera is a vampire now, and if she survives then she'll need someone else to teach her how to keep surviving.

She's the former group mom, and Alucard is the current group mom. It sounds silly, like a joke, but when you really consider it the two could relate to each other on a spiritual level. Alucard has spent almost his entire life protecting humanity, and Tera has spent the majority of her adult life either helping people as a speaker or protecting Maria as a mother. Both parties know a thing or two about crushing responsibility, and the weight that preserving the lives of others puts on a person.

Alucard is still mourning his polycule after centuries and this is pretty unhealthy, actually. A new flame might be just what he needs to finally remember what true peace and happiness are like, just as Sypha and Trevor would want him to.

People are going to hate me for this, and as a Disclaimer: yes, I know about the game lore. But Alucard getting with Maria just rubs me the wrong way, it's giving Twilight and I don't like it. A 40+ year-old woman is a much better match for a centuries-old dhampir than a 19-year-old, Tera has lived her life and carries much needed experience. Not that Alucard would ever knowingly take advantage of a power imbalance, but in my eyes no pairing between a 300-hundred-year-old and a 19-year-old could ever be healthy.

As long as no vampires or vampire hunters kill her, Tera is now immortal and Alucard won't have to lose her like he lost his human lovers.

Huh y'know how much does Richter know about vampire killing. Like, obviously he knows plenty enough to kill vampires, but how much beyond that?

Like, are Richter, Maria, and co aware that Alucard doesn't burn in the sun? Like they meet him for the first time with the magic induced eclipse going on.

What I'm saying is, at the end of it all, are we gonna get a kinda funny yet sweet moment where, as the sun starts pouring over the landscape the whole crew scrambles to try and cover Alucard with a sheet or put him in shade or something to keep him from burning up completely unaware his human blood makes him immune?

Im just curious if Richter would be doing it too or if he and/or Juste are the ones watching the others do all this before waiting for the exactly most Halarious moment to inform them.

The whole time this is happening Alucards either getting cut off every time he tries to explain or letting it happen cause he likes the attention.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks it makes sense for Maria to be absolutely impressed by Alucard's transformations — especially by Awoocard.

It would be great if Netflix gave her some interesting reactions in such scenes.

(I've already ordered an illustration of my headcanon, where sleeping Maria is leaning against wolfy Adrian, covered with his cape. The drafts are absolutely delighting!)

Do you know what I dearly want?

A truly catastrophic fight scene where it looks like the heroes are about to lose, and in a fit of desperation someone (perhaps Mizrak) decides to audibly beseech some higher power for help by shouting at the sky.

And what follows is the most epic/dramatic thing ever.

At first it looks like nothing is going to happen at all, Bathory and her minions start laughing scornfully because nobody expects it to.

But then what appears to be stormclouds start rolling in on a previously clear day/night.

They look like the type that'd normally accompany a summer storm for maybe the first five seconds, and everybody is super confused except Alucard, who has a look of shock on his face because he knows exactly what (or more accurately who) is behind it within a moment of analyzing and using his enhanced senses to try and identify what's going on.

The stormclouds form something akin to a vortex, and start to turn blood red.

Then we get this deep, rumbling voice that seems to come from all directions ala Zeus' introduction in God Games (EPIC: The Musical).

"Divine intervention? Is that what you're requesting, little knight?....."

And just like that morherfucking Dracula has decided to drop in for a chat, because some big Apocalypse 2: Electric Boogaloo moment is currently happening and I feel like it'd be unrealistic for him not to sense it from wherever he is and come to investigate.

Dracula be like: "Jee, it sure has been a long time since my son and I saw each other kicking around on this filthy rock of a planet, where could he be?"

Also Drac: "Am I sensing an eternal night spell?... Nevermind, I know exactly where my son probably is."

Que - Dracula and Alucard having the most hilarious conversation while they enjoy the quality time of committing vampire homicide together and the others just gape at them.

As far as I can see, a significant part of Nocturne audience haven’t heard about the official radio drama “Nocturne of Recollection”, which confirms Alucard’s feelings for adult (18 y.o.) Maria in some way. (All the complaints should be addressed to Konami :D)

To the main part. One of the flashbacks tells us that — several centuries before SotN — Alucard’s servant, Lyudmil, told his master about the festival where Lisa’s favorite whitе flowers were used:

“Once a year, young men express their love to girls with garlands made of these flowers”.

At the end of the radio show, Alucard and Maria are alone in a blooming field. When Alucard draws the lady’s attention to beautiful flowers growing nearby, she is willing to gather some. Then the Tragic Prince remembers deceased Lyudmil, whispering under his breath:

“Whitе garlands?.. I should have said ‘Yes’ when you offered me a lesson how to make them”.

The authors imply that the dhampir and the huntress stay together after this episode.

P.S. I hope you understand Alumaria/Mariacard admirers a little better now.

So, did Konami plan for Maria and Alucard to be a couple? Definitely yes. Did they manage to reveal their relationship well? This is up to you.

And I remind you that Alumaria fan base has formed around adult Maria. All the adequate viewers support the idea that Adrian and young (16 y.o.) Maria should have a purely platonic love, but many gamers consider their romance after the time skip as a partial analogue of Lisa and Dracula. (This is fantasy, my friends — the laws of our world don’t work for a 300+ y.o. dude. In addition, the game universe compensated Adrian’s questionable age with vampire hibernation: roughly speaking, his intellectual growth had been frozen for centuries, so mentally (18 y.o. in SotN) he was not much older than his passion).

My personal opinion: we have a basis for a story about true noble love, but it’s all in writers’ hands.
