Honestly this story has been on my mind since I read it and drawing for it has been so incredibly fun! It evolved into something incredible, and I’ve found a new appreciation for working with other creative minds to manifest something awesome ✨

This is my first ever collab I’ve done for a fic so honestly I was all over the place so I can’t thank MBQ enough for dealing with me 😭

The fact they too adapted by very flimsy idea into such an amazing story too blows my mind ! I cannot stress enough how gosh darn awesome they are ! I’m so happy to have been partnered with them 🫶

A small summary of this fic is that Castiel comes from royalty in a world which is slowly being destroyed by an unknown darkness that consumes everything in its wake. Creatures, corrupt and contorted and broken into horrific beings beyond the human minds imagination. Castiel has to travel through it to save it, to find the one he’s been bonded to, though it’s filled with uncertainty and doubt. But what other choice does he have when the world around him is crumbling in on itself?

As it’s launch day for Angel In The Ivory Castle, here is all the art I have done for this fic! I shall be doing some more over the next week too so keep a look out for all of that ;)

I kind of don't like how a lot of people forget that despite all the angst and the drama around Dean and Cas they are fundamentaly best friends.

How many times did Dean say it throught the entire show? Bobby in season 6 saying "Well, you just lost the best friend you ever had."

For Bobby to say that, knowing Dean better than even Sam in some regards, how many times had Dean been sitting with Castiel on the couch in his living room?

Cas doesn't sleep, and rarely does Dean, with the Apocalypse looming right behind him.

So all they had left, in those quiet nights were each other. And they were okay with it, because they liked each other's company.

Decided to redesign Castiel’s angel form from this post :)

I honestly hate the og design and I’m a lot happier with this one that I decided to do

I wish I made the panels on his head however more similar to stained glass rather than matching the corset, but I can work on that later, for now I like it 👍

A lot of my inspiration comes from @Candymakeupartist on Instagram

Their corsets live rent free front and centre in my mind every day and so I finally attempted to try replicate something similar in my art and I think it came out pretty cool!
