made a little comic thingy for chapter 10 of this gjkhggf-worthy fic, featuring baby Jack's true form :0 which just so happens to look like a baby version of Cas'. they both have a human head, bird (I was going for a crow) head, and impala head (Jack's has little fawn spots gjdkf), and Cas has a lion head (something something ancient celestial cat) while Jack has a snake that symbolizes his connection with Lucifer and also Felix the snake who they should not have killed off

(disclaimer but I made the comic before the chapter was written because we were brainstorming his true form so this comic doesn't completely match up with the fic oops)

You know what would be funny? If demon blood junkie Sam could start to see parts of Cas’s true form. And can clearly see, first of all that this is some eldritch horror monster, and second of all it’s obsessed with dean. Always having a wing over or around Dean, touching Dean’s shoulder, always looking at him, surrounding him, touching him. And Sam is naturally panicking bc not only are angels not what he thought they were but this dangerous eldritch monster has completely latched onto his brother to the point of obsession and dean cannot fucking see it. I think it would’ve been so funny if they did this bc Sam would think Cas is creepy and dangerous and wouldn’t want him near his brother. But at the same time is too dense to see the heart eyes Dean has for this creature of unknown power, because Cas is just Dean’s little guy in a trench coat!

I asked Jake Abel to sign this artwork at a spn con on November 3rd, 2024. That's why I'm reblogging this post after so long. Jake may not have commented on the art itself, but I did explain it to him (that Michael was the blue figure...although the halo probably helped identify him lol). It was a nice autograph session (he checked that he had my name spelled right before writing it... personalization ftw!).

First time I got a scene from one of my stories signed by the actor playing the character in the art!

that being said this does seem kinda unfinished or like I'm missing something but idk what so. yeah. Cas' true form design is inspired by this other thing I posted way back at the end of January, though the coloring is giving me marker vibes as in actual physical markers. luckily digital art doesn't do the funny and curl up when you use markers. yeah this really is just an organized mess lol. oh well
