Over the past few months i have been narrating my partner @sometimesraven s first novel Reckless Truth

I’ve had a lot of requests over the past year to create an audiobook version of my debut novel, and I’m happy to announce one is being worked on! Introducing our lovely narrator @cassandrahaswell who will be reading through all 90k words, a job I do not envy 😅

This will be a FULLY CASTED PROJECT so watch this space for news!

Anyway, the power-hungry god must be stopped by a werewolf named Eldingar, who is Fenryr's chosen. First, however, the werewolf needs to gain allies. He finds one in an unusual vampire queen named Mia, currently a nurse in Wyrmbite City. Of course, he has to check that she doesn't agree with or worship Odin--something he does a bit too aggressively.

The werewolf knows that not all vampires worship Odin; she'll be an essential part of saving the world. After working out some 'minor' issues, the two set off to the city and recruit help. Mia's best friend, a prince named Rune, joins the party. Following this, a kitsune called Kaida signs onto the quest. Finally, a sorcerer named Atzi and a faerie named Thyra finish off our gathering of heroes. Each have valuable powers that will contribute to Midgard's salvation.

They're definitely going to need it. Not only must they deal with the power-hungry deity, but they'll cross claws with his chosen: Huginn and Muninn, among the most powerful vampires in Midgard. As their city comes under siege by Odin's cult, our heroes must put their heads and magic together to take this evil down or risk the innocent lives of countless people.

Author's Note:

Join this Urban Fantasy gothic adventure and enjoy LGBTQ+ romantic subplots with diverse adult characters. Not to mention, there are new flavors of vampire lore and new interpretations of the Nordic gods in this modern setting. The characters and world are saturated with magic that fantasy lovers will adore.

Please be aware that this is not taking place in Earth cities, but cities similar to our own, and there is no 'hidden world' aspect to this work. Magic/monsters are out in the open, as stated above! The character designs are very punk-rock, as that is the aesthetic I enjoy going for and utilize myself. Those who enjoy shifters with a strict wolf form should give this one a pass, as the werewolves are wolf-men. Same situation for folks looking for the Norse myths or vampires to be told in the traditional fashion! I want to emphasize how this work twists things.

CAUTION: Graphic gore, very descriptive sex scenes (end of story), heavy violence, some profanity

I have a very Important Announcement you to the high levels of Dysphoria i feel when being Referred to as Scarlet along with a couple other reasons ive taken the very difficult choice to Stop being ScarletBlaze... This a name ive had since 2012 way back when ScarletBlaze Was a vlogging and comedy channel then a gaming channel and when you all met me for the most part a music Oriented Twitch Stream and yet again i need to Evolve and move forward but for much more serious reasons now. Whenever i would log on and be called scarlet it was more than just being called the wrong screen name it was being called this highly Feminine name i had not chosen to be called it was a reminder of what people saw me as and of who i no longer am. ( dont ask why Cassandra is fine i dont make the rules ) I'm thankful to her I'm thankful to the ScarletBlaze as for a time before twitch it was this more confident persona i stood behind and now now its time for me to be authentically me . Ill still respond Happily to Blaze as it is one of my names But from now on ill be going Professionally on all platforms as some variation of Cassandra Haswell both for my own happyness and sanity for lack of confusion and to bridge the gap between my content creation and my Acting/Performance work i know not all of you have been here for the Whole 11years but from the bottom of my heart thank you for being there while i evolved and grew into who i am today R.I.P ScarletBlaze 2012-2023
